Love this place! When there to buy a few movies and ended up leaving with 30 DVDs, a tee shirt, hoodie, poster and 5 music CDs. Great selection, great deals and even have discounted and used DVDs that where in perfect condition. Very cool place!

Probably the best store to buy movies/shows from period. Funko pops, cool clothing, excitingly different snacks & drinks, I can’t express how awesome FYE really is.Great deal I love is buy 2 used movies get 1 used movies for $1 (can mix and match DVDs and Blu Rays).Great destination for gift shopping, one of my favorite stores we’re lucky to have it.

Great staff, but the business puts sale prices that are no sale, doesnt really specialize in anything just a eclectic variety of miscellaneous items. The items they sell you could easily buy some where else like Walmart, target which is in the mall, or Five Below at a much better price and better variety.

They used to be a titan, now Im glad they even still exist. Great selection of the used movies I like to buy, and they even have used UHD titles. Blockbuster may be gone, but Im fye strong!

Not much staff. Looked around an there wasnt much assistance offered to me. The only person there took a whole 5 minutes before acknowledging me for check out while standing right in front of me. Otherwise, their inventory is awesome.

While the arcade days have vanished, FYE is still a spot for me to visit every time I pass by. Excellent selection of truly unique items and apparel. A+

You will always find a bargain in this store. For example I found $.25 wonder sneakers for my child and headphones for about $2 in the clearance section.

My favorite store. Great variety and fun music. The toys are my favorite thing to collect and this place has everything I love.

If you are considering going to Hot Topic after growing out of your totally emo phase, this is the place you should go instead. Their selection of music and movies for cheap is unmatched. They have many cool and interesting toys and figures and other things which people into video games and anime might like. Great place to find things you never thought you might want, or more than you could ask for.

Awesome selection and prices for used DVDs and videos not to mention some adorable and fun stuff (baby Yoda in 2020, funco pops etc). Worth a trip !

Great selection of media and items. One of the few places I can go and almost always find steelcase movies as I collect them. They have no way of telling if there is any damage to the case until after you purchase it and unwrap it. Bought an item and when I got home and removed the plastic wrap, the case almost fell apart. Staff is super friendly but never seems to be enough people at the registers once Im ready to check out. That seems more coincidence than anything else however. Regardless I still go shopping there everytime Im in the mall and always find some nice little treasures in movies.

Love the management staff always a smile and a hey how ya doin when you walk in . Such a collection of pop culture items my nephew loves all the Japanese candy and I love all the throw back items you guys keep getting in John is AWESOME wish more stores had a manager that cared as much as he does keep up the great job

I like how FYE looks but its a sad shell of what I remember it was growing up. It used to have a arcade and all of my friends would go to the mall to do homework then go in to buy the latest album of who ever we were into then head into the arcade for hours an have fun.

Not happy with my experience at this store. The cashier treated me like garbage for no reason and had an attitude the entire time I was being rung out and She is nasty to me every time i go in there. Better off going to the Milford store where they have actual customer service skills.

Needed help finding a certain movie I couldnt remember the name of and the manager (John or Juan?) Helped me find it!! And then he helped me with some pretty obscure 80s music that NOBODY other than me seems to like. Very happy. Its difficult to find a store with movies AND music with employees that both have interest in what they are selling and care about their customers. Long ride for me but worth the ride since Meriden has more stuff than music or movies (sorry Meriden). Thank you!!! 😁

Came to the store recently for the Camila Cabello event. It went great and was very enjoyable and Im very glad our local f.y.e could host such a cool event.Even more recently I found out the store would be carrying the Lil Pump CD which I didnt even know it was going to be released on CD, and this is the only place I knew would be carrying it! I purchased it at a very decent price.Been shopping here for years, it just gets better and better :)

I came here for a Camilla Cabello meet and greet, got there before everyone, waited 8 hours, and still didn’t get to meet her due to awful security/ organization of fye. The way they do meet and greets is so inconvenient and sketchy. I’ve been going to meet and greets for years and I’ve never heard of getting wristbands they day before, especially in the morning of a Friday. They turned down around 100 people, most of which got there before everyone else. They only let 500 people in although they had more than enough time to let others in. Wouldn’t go to this store

He talks for 10 minutes trying to sell you the FYE discount card then as many times as you say no, he tells you to sign for the receipt which actually signs you up for the card in which you now have to call and get the run around to cancel! Classy FYE, CLASSY

To respond to Kelly Foxs review, the store has always done events using the wristbands system. In fact the entire chain has. Unfortunately you are wrong about selling out the morning before that Camila Cabell event. The store sold out at 9 pm. The label only let the store sell 500 wristbands. You are right about one thing only, the store could have sold more but were told not to.

I went to purchase 2 bluray movies which each was marked down with a price tag of $15 and the other $10, the rude cashier deliberately ignored the lower price tag while scanning the the items and ready to charge me full price ! I said hey those are marked down and he says no thats not the right price somebody must of put those price stickers on there, and then he wouldent honor the price sticker, they are crooked cheapskates that dont honor lower price tags and try to cheat you, horrible experience, shop somewhere better

A difficult to negotiate store coupled with the fact that they generally dont carry anything worth looking for makes every visit to fye souring to say the least.

How a pink floyd CD ended up costing me $200 over the course of 6 months because FYE intentionally misleads consumers.Today, unfortunately i found out how FYE has been able to stay competitive in the modern age of downloading and streaming music, movies, and content.They steal it, from you.now i never write reviews. ever. so please take into consideration that i made this review as pure warning to anyone who accidentally wanders into an FYE or happens to temporarily think its a good idea and was lucky enough to come across this before stepping foot into that money trap.i like pink floyd, who doesnt? i like the albums, the artwork, the music, the message, all of it. so naturally as a fan i want to hold the content packaged in my hand in a way that allows me to pass down the music to my children, appreciate the albums artwork, and lastly being unable to afford a whole new car radio just so i can plug in an aux cord. so what do pink floyd fans like me with a shitty 94 toyota that only plays CDs do to get their musical fix? we buy CDs. there arent many of us left but FYE is the conquerer of that exact dying niche market. well that and all the other useless crap they plaster the walls of that glorified poster/toy store with.With the market quickly depleting from newer technologies or people simply not being interested in CDs anymore, you would imagine the corporate big wigs at FYE are panicking doing anything and everything they can to keep this market alive for as long as possible making employees goes through customer satisfaction seminars, people pleasing skills, and corporate meetings that illustrate just how important maintaining the niche market is and how they can keep older content sharing technology alive by satisfying customers, hiring know hows and can dos, and generally sharing interest in all that stuff. while what they can do to save themselves from being absorbed in todays competitive market is on the table for discussion ill tell you this, the store experience should be better for the expected niche shopper and its not because they arent interested in creating a valued customer who wants to come back through any real or meaningful shopping experience. they would rather create loyal customers by force, and bind you to something you cannot question or even notice is a problem until it matters; an auto-charging computer program.it starts in line when you least expect it. trying to buy your things and just leave. people in a rush behind you. its not a place you typically want to spend leisurely time in, little do you know thats all part of the plan... alright its your turn now. the cashier will ask you if you want to be a part of a rewards program. much like a grocery store! after i persisted i didnt want it, the cashier persisted that indeed i actually did! and that stupid me didnt previously realize what a steal an immediate $2.00 discount was! in an attempt to just leave i said ok just give me the discount and and did! neat! she mumbled something that sounded like a dangerous medicine commercials side affects disclaimer and asked for my signature. signing it with the pre-notion my signature was required to fulfill the purchase i didnt think at the time that i was signing away the right to charge my card $12.00 a month every month FOREVER so i can indulge in all of FYEs important weekly deals(keep in mind i enter FYE maybe twice a year). oh the deals! the deals!!!!!the account i had used at the time to make the purchase was not very active and i kept the balance low while negligently paying attention to it. because of the accounts low balance and my ignorance of this i was overdraft charged several times for months. i lost over 200$ to this one CD because of a shifty loophole.

Bring back laserdisc! You got soundtracks that look like em, make the step back...
