I sat in line behind 4 or 5 cars for 30 minutes. I got in line at 6:30 pm and pulled up to the window at 7 pm. They had pulled the closed sign down and left me and the person behind me without help. I know the pharmacy associates are tired and ready to go home at closing time, but I thought they would continue to help anyone still in line before 7. If their policy is to close down exactly on time, I get it it. But it shouldn’t have taken 30 minutes to wait on 4/5 cars in the first place. This is consistently the slowest pharmacy I’ve ever used.

One of the worst Walgreens. A couple of the employees were rude, unprofessional, and really no help at all. They could not even answer simple questions about what they had just done. This is a good way to lose customers. Customers should be treated with respect and kindness. We only want to get our medication, not to be spoken to like we dont matter. Without the sick, Walgreens would be out of business. So please make a change and hire individuals that Know how to interact with the public in a manner that is expected. A pleasant manner.

I never leave reviews, but my experiences with this Walgreens pharmacy warranted one. On separate occasions, they have lost my prescription, couldnt figure out how to add my sons information for insurance purposes so I could fill a time-sensitive prescription, took forever to fill a prescription right after my husbands surgery, and the list goes on... this isnt your place if you need life saving medication or a time-sensitive prescription to fill. I do feel they may be understaffed and can empathize, but it can put someones health in jeopardy in the process. We are planning to switch pharmacies.

The service at this Walgreens has never been the best, but that has declined in the past 2-3 years. They give incorrect information, only for you to call the insurance company to get the answer that you already know. Some of the staff are very unprofessional and somewhat rude. No one should have to deal with incompetence or tackiness, especially when purchasing treatment for illnesses and medical conditions. I have much better service at Publix. After today, I’m taking my business there.

I went for the 3rd time to pick up a prescription that was on back order for 15 days. The drug is common, one of the most prescribed in the US. It was suggested by the tech that I drive to other Walgreens locations and if they had it Trussville could transfer my prescription there. Really! Now the customer is supposed to drive around town during a pandemic looking for her own medication that you cant bother to order for 15 days? I drove to another chain pharmacy, transferred ALL my prescriptions and had my medicine with in 2 hours.

I received my first vaccine dose from clairmont. They were quick, kind, and sanitary! This location is where I received my 2nd dose on today. No disinfectant was used for the area where the vaccines were done. We went in 3 customers back to back. With not a teaspoon of lysol being sprayed!

Every Walgreens I have worked with has been awful, but this one is exceptionally terrible. The technicians are rude, incompetent, and disorganized. Every time I have a refill coming up, I know something will go wrong. They will lose the prescription, mismanage the number of pills, misread something, charge my insurance incorrectly or some other issue arises where my doctor will have to call in my prescriptions again. I will never refill any prescriptions with Walgreens going forward. I have been trying to get my prescriptions refilled at another pharmacy for weeks (prescription transfer). I have also called several times telling them to stop refilling my prescriptions at their location and they keep doing it! They hang up on me and dont even try to listen to what I need help with. I feel sorry for anyone in Trussville who has to deal with them. Get out of there if you can!

The people that they have hired in the pharmacy are the rudest that Ive ever dealt with in my life! Wait for weeks for scripts to be filled. Call two days in a row and sit on hold for over two hours combined during those two days and no one ever picks up. I call first because I dont live close. Ive had experience with them before where I received a text that my scripts were ready. Drive all the way there and was told they were on back order. I asked why I received a text that they were ready. Pharmacist said she had to enter it that way to clear it out. What? So I drive all of this way because you needed to manipulate the system? Then yesterday I spoke to the rudest person I believe Ive ever spoken to in my life. Told her Id been waiting for weeks to pick up a prescription. Id already spoken to store manager the week before and was told it was ordered and should be in the next few days. Rude person told me that it had just been phoned in. I told her that it was phoned in weeks ago. It probably just arrived in stock yesterday. She all but called me a liar. Id spoken to store manager and pharmacy manager and she still argued and said it was yesterday. The meds probably had just come in yesterday but not phoned in from doctor. That had been weeks ago. Tired of her rudeness. Asked her to make sure it was ran through with the coupon. She actually said, are you telling me or asking me? Really? Youre in customer service and you talk to people like that? Imagine my shock, frustration, etc. Have been trying to get my meds for weeks and I get the prize of dealing with the rudest person on the planet. This pharmacy has gone downhill so bad in the last year its amazing! Obviously after reading the reviews. The main complaints are rude customer service and no one ever answers the phone.

If you want to waste your time. This is the place. Went online to setup a COVID-19 test. After getting not 1 but 2 confirmation emails I attempted to call the store to further confirm my appointment. The first call I was told by an associate that she doesnt know anything about that, call the pharmacy. I call back and am put on hold for 42 minutes. After which the answering service said that all pharmacy associates are at lunch and hung up on me. When I arrived for the appointment 10 minutes early(more than the 5 minutes instructed by the emails) there was a line around the building. The instructions say to go to the drive thru. Do not get out of your car. I called and was put on hold. Perfect.When I finally got to the window I was told you are late and someone took your spot. I explained that I was here early just to be told Oh no, we dont have an appointment for you. I showed them both emails that I was instructed to display and the confirmation number sent and was told neither were valid, that not only was I not in the system, but that the confirmation number is not the confirmation number! I was told to make another appointment with no guarantee that it would be honored but there would be a bolder type of confirmation number. Utter nonsense. Do not put your time and health into this establishment as both would be wasted doing so.

Maybe the worst drug store Ive ever had to deal with. Regularly takes over an hour in line to get prescriptions that theyve already said are ready to pick up. They make up for the slow service by being the rudest and generally most unpleasant people in town.

Made appt for covid shot for my husband and myself. Got there 15mins earlier than appt they scheduled us for and your pharmacy closed without notice fifteen minutes before we got there. They had both our email and phone numbers.never notified. will Never shop there again or use their pharmacy. Total incompetency .

As a retired pharmacist, I understand your frustration. I used to get frustrated too. The pharmacy is always a skeleton crew. When you have a person at a drive through, that means that two techs are on cash registers and neither is helping you.By law, one pharmacist can only have two techs, three if one is certified. Most pharmacists hate the drive thru. It means youre not getting any help at all. Even if you have a dedicated cashier, that tech at the drive thru is your tech help.That means theyre not answering the phone and not helping you fill prescriptions. My mentor told me that it was better to be slow and take your time filling a prescription than be wrong.The best times to call are about 11am, 3pm or anytime after 7pm. Never call before 11am.You should expect at least a two hour wait time after calling in your prescription, no matter what that computer tells you. If you can wait until the next day, that is awesome. It means your prescription can be filled at an off peak time.If you use the chat function, rather than call, youll get an immediately response.

They are always very nice to me and I usually dont have to wait very long at the window to pick up a prescription. They always answer the phone when I call and answer any questions I have. I dont know whats up with all these other angry people. They must go at a busy time of day when the wait is longer.

I’ve had too many negative experiences with this Walgreen’s location to even count. The lines to pick up a prescription are ridiculous. And seriously, don’t even think about calling this place. They will NOT answer the phone. But the absolute worst part about this location is the pharmacist. He needs to reread the oath he took. One portion reads- “I will consider the welfare of humanity and relief of suffering my primary concerns.” The level of suffering he causes should certainly be considered unethical. It truly is disturbing.

These people do not know how to answer the phone! I have called so many times and sit on hold for 20+ minutes and no one ever picks up except to put me on hold. Also every time I go to get a prescription it takes me 30 or so minutes to pick it up. Definitely switching pharmacies!

Web site is used for bait-and-switch advertising. Online listing claimed to have a Walgreens brand, and a ChoiceMMed brand, pulse oxymeter both with 2 to 5 in stock. When I arrived there were none. There was a nearly identical item which had just been on sale for the same price, but 2 employees standing side by side refused to check back stock, said they would not honor the online price, nor give the sale price on the one they had on hand. Before leaving the store I called Walgreens corporate customer service... call # 1 I stated my complaint in detail, they called the store, and then I was cut off; call #2 I repeated my complaint and my call was forwarded TO THE STORE I WAS STANDING IN; and call #3 was just cut off. All this took nearly an hour.DO NOT GO TO THE TRUSSVILLE WALGREENS!EVER!

Has to be the worst pharmacy in the Southeast. Most often they are under-staffed. One person has to go back and forth between the counter and the drive thru. If there are 2 cars in the drive thru, expect to be there about 45 minutes.Tonight I ordered 2 meds at 5:15 pm for 6:30 pick up. I showed up at 7:30 and had to wait until 8 for them to be filled.

They must have way to many patients to take care of because they are always hours behind even when you tell them you have just had surgery. The drive thru literally takes an hour or more. Walgreens HO needs to do something or build another one for the Trussville community to handle the volume of patients. ☹️

Would give zero Stars if I could. not only do promotions and coupons never scan but the managers are very rude! If you go up there with an issue then they are always mad when they get up there and rude to you. They now started limiting items to just four for any sale items. So I cant even buy five of my favorite items if the manager doesnt say its okay. Seems to me like they dont like to sell things. Go to another one or go to CVS because they are much better!

If I could, I would give this place a very high amount of *Negative* stars. All the other reviews are all true. They will repeatedly hang up on you after youve been on hold Forever and then you call back and it just happens again, extremely long wait in line for the pharmacy, and many other stupid things that has definitely earned them all these 1 star ratings.They just really work hard to avoid working at all costs.Never once have I experienced anything this poor at any other store or pharmacy. Anyone who ever gives them 2 or more stars has never been to this place once in their life, it really is that bad. Just ridiculous.

Just got done here and the pharmacy was so rude. I understand that it’s not fun when a customer comes in close to closing, but my toddler with having an asthma attack and needed her inhaler. They made it very clear I was not welcome. I even apologized and they didn’t acknowledge it. We just stood in awkward silence. Will not be back.

This pharmacy does not answer their phone. If you need to talk to a pharmacist, good luck. They are either under staffed or they dont want to be bothered. Either way, I would not recommend using them.

WOW! Glad I happen to check here before moving my business! Ive had a few problems with CVS (everywhere but Target Trussville theyre awesome) but theyre minor compared to what I see here! Sorry yall have been treated like this. Sounds like poor overall customer service. Wont see me there!

Waited on hold for 15 minutes before someone picked up the phone. Then they answered, put me back on hold. After holding 10 more minutes, I was hung up on. Called back and it was 20 more minutes on hold before someone answered. Total of 45 minutes. I understand they do the best they can, but Walgreens needs to give them more staff hours.

Called pharmacy recording said two callers ahead of me...took 45 minutes for a clueless person to answer and put me on hold for another 15 minutes then the phone mysteriously hung. I called back waited another 45 minutes only to be hung up on once again. Save yourself a headache and skip this location if at all possible. This is my second ridiculous incident with this pharmacy. There will not be a third...I will definitely not be back EVER! I called a different location and had my prescriptions transferred and my problem resolved in one phone call that from the time I dialed the number to the time my problem was resolved took less than 2 minutes total.

My wife went to the store to get a prescription for me. They could not find it. She drove away without it. We live a long ways away. When I called and spoke with the pharmacist, he was short with me and did not really seem to care and wanted to get off the telephone with me. I was not unkind to him, just wanted him to get the situation straight with the employee so it wouldnt happen to someone else. Was not impressed at all with the attitude that I got from the pharmacist there.

I only used the pharmacy. The people were nice, but I ordered my Rx at 9 in the morning to be picked up at noon. I showed up at 2 and it still wasnt ready. Not only that, but it took nearly an hour for them to fill it. Ridiculous. Its on Rx, 30 little pills that I ordered 6 hours previous. Come on. Theres no excuse.

Changed pharmacy from CVS because Blue Cross forced me to. After being well taken care of over there it was a shock coming to this place. I thought I knew what slow was until I waited 30 mins in the car line. Employees are ignorant and rude as hell also. Dont use this place unless you are forced to and never get in the car line.

I am a regular customer at Walgreens. I get many prescriptions there. And do a lot of shopping there. Thrir pharmacy is poorly run and the associates are rude and condescending. I had a problem the other day and relayed the problem to the assistant manager. He advised he would discuss it with the manager and the incident would be handled. I highky doubt that and believe it was only lip service. I will be changing pharmacies. Maybe other stores are better, but this one is horrible!

After waiting in the drive thru line for 30 minutes, get up to the window just to wait another 10 minutes to be told someone would be with me shortly, another 5 minutes goes by & they finally ask for my info. Tell them the information & have to wait another 5 minutes to be told they are out of what my prescription is & asked me if I wanted them to check other Walgreens. Of course I said yes. I was then asked to circle the building, only to come sit back in the drive thru line now going on another 30 minutes because 2 other cars were in line. At the very least they could have offered to call me & let me know. Ive tried to call them & NO pick up & I can see from the window they are just as slow inside. This is a waste of my night, being sick & trying to get my 4 month old home when it is rainy & cold outside, only to have him screaming in the back seat because we have been sitting still for too long. This is absolutely ridiculous & I have never experienced anything like this before in my life!! I will NOT be coming back!! They could really use a lesson from little small town pharmacies!!Updated to add: As Im waiting for the 2nd time at the window, they hadnt even called to other pharmacies! Pissed is putting it nicely. Now Im waiting at the window to be told they dont have anywhere close that has it. When asking what my other options are, they tell me to go to CVS & see if they have it & have them call to transfer to medicine. This is not worth the waste of my night when I could be sleeping.Walgreens, you guys need to do SOMETHING to fix the way things are run here. Pros:+5 starsThe store is always clean (which is a big thing for me) and everyone is very nice. I even had a problem with one of my prescriptions, it had been refilled at the wrong store, and they were able to get it to me in about 15 minutes. That was amazing!Cons:-1 starPharmacy- The wait time for the pharmacy can be insane at times. Ex/ picking up filled prescriptions took 20ish minutes with 2 people ahead of me in line. They werent asking for anything odd, just picking up filled prescriptions. There was only one person checking us out so.. A couple of people came and waited in line and then went to browse the store..lol maybe thats their objective. Make you wait, so you go shop. Ive also called to have a prescription transferred in and I had to wait on hold for about 40 minutes. Possibly they should have more folks working in there..-1 starStore- For some reason, maybe I come in at weird times I dont know, but I have to find someone to check me out. This bothers me. I understand wanting to have people multitask when there isnt a lot going on up front but there should always be someone at the front checkout. This isnt the only Walgreens where this happens (the one on Valleydale is almost as bad about this) but I HATE trying to find someone to check me out. I hate it so much I thought about deducting 2 stars for this reason..especially since it happens to me a lot here.

The pharmacy tech talked badly about me the entire time while Im in ear shot and when I pointed out that I could hear her and thought it was rude of her, she looks me in the eye and says, Have a good day, mam. No remorse or shame at all and DEFINITELY no apology. I responded with, Really and she shot back with a more forceful Have a good day, MAM. I told the manager and all she did was apologize. No promise that shed take care of it and certainly didnt care that they lost a customer. Ive transferred all my prescriptions to CVS. If you dont know customer service, at least learn how to be a decent human being. Additionally, the wait times there are TERRIBLE and there seems to only be one lady employed with any pep in her step. If shes not there, prepare to wait 30 mins in line to pick up an order.

I went to pick up prescription only to be told that my doctor had not called it in. I went back to my doctors office and was told that it was sent and they had a confirmation. I tried calling and was hung up on after over 51 minutes of holding. Do yourself a favor and go to the cvs inside target to get your prescriptions filled!
