Bait and switch: got me show up in this store supposedly because they offer trade-in, but only in-store. After I showed up and brought the item to register, a problem happened, the drive was on sale, and by sale it meant that it instead of 2018 prices, hard drive was priced at what the fair price would be. They never meant to honor any trade-in, they just want you to show up hoping youd buy something anyway cuz you already made it that far. Disgusting practice

My experience was good. I needed an over the range microwave in white, in a hurry. Ordered online choosing pickup today at my nearby store, and 21 minutes later I got a text saying it was ready for curbside pickup and a couple hours later it was installed and working...

Needed to replace a hard drive for a desktop computer. Knowledgeable, helpful salesperson had exactly the SSD (a familiar - and preferred - brand name) and mounting hardware needed to get the installation completed and begin formatting the drive and installing the software necessary to return the computer to productivity. My father and I came from the apple to buy accessories as you can see they are not busy, the interaction that we had with the salesman J.C was so disrespectful my father was asking him for a receipt, JC said I gave you the dam receipt but then he started picking through the trash and realized that he was wrong. I was needing a new SSD mount since I got a new drive and needed to add more data to the computer so I called prior to going and got some info. I decided to bring the parts for size comparison. When I arrived at the store I went to the computer department and had a short wait since the employee was helping someone else.That said once he was available I showed him a picture of the stuff I was looking for. He found it instantly and we finished the checkout process right there at the desk. Very friendly to talk to. 🙂

The best way to shop at Best Buy is to do your homework online before you go. When you get there, ask an associate to show you exactly where what you came for is located. Take it to the closest register, pay, and go. 10 minutes tops! Because the best part of Best Buy is setting up and using whatever cool things you just bought...like the two 32 inch 4K monitors for my gamer sons birthday presents!!!

Ive been a Best Buy customer for many year because of the level of customer service you can generally expect (they do an exceptional job of training new hires). My last trip was no exception. The young guy who helped me, Nico, was very knowledgeable about the various options for sound systems and televisions, and asked me the right questions to give helpful recommendation, instead of just pitching me information. He saved me countless hours of researching online for answers. He also unexpectedly went out of his way to hunt down an Xbox Series X for me because I made an offhand comment about looking for one over the past 6 months. I was happy that my experience was what Ive come to expect when I make the trip to Best Buy.

Wasnt too crowded and the employees were very helpful. It made my shopping experience easy. The salesman wasnt too pushy either. He listened to what I needed, the budget that I wanted to stay within, and found me a printer at a reasonable price that fit my needs.

DO NOT SHOP AT BEST BUY! BUYER BEWARE!I ordered a Raspberry Pi online, went inside to pick it up, and while I was standing at the cashier, they told me I needed to wear a mask. I told them I would not, and they told me they wouldnt help me. Remember, I was already standing at the register, and the unconstitutional mask mandate was ending in 4 days anyways, so what was the difference? Also there was probably only 5 people in the store, since it reached 108° yesterday. They didnt say anything to me when I entered the store. Then they called the police on me, because I would not wear a mask. So, while still standing at the register, I checked in online for curbside pickup, and described my vehicle as the man standing at the counter. Someone came out and handed me my merchandise, so I said thank you and proceeded to leave the store. I was then chased out of the store by a man asking me if I was going to pay for it, and he was followed by a woman who was taking a picture of me and pictures of my truck. I got out of my truck, and asked her why she was taking my picture. She said because I had stolen, the item I ordered online and had just picked up, from the store. I used some harsh language and told them to get lost. I approached the police officer that pulled up a couple minutes later, and explained the situation to him, apologized for the store using the police in that manner, he ran my ID, and after a few minutes of conversation, I went back to my truck. After the first officer left, a second officer pulled up, because of the call about me stealing my paid for merchandise. He did not stay. Not one of those people who accused me if stealing, or who called the police because I wouldnt put on a mask, came out to talk to the officer, or apologize for embarrassing me, by accusing me of stealing an item that had a big red sticker with my name on it, which was handed to me at the checkout, by an employee. I am so angry with this store, and I will never shop at Best Buy ever again.

Your manager (a big bald guy) is the rudest person I have ever seen. He arbitrarily called me a reseller and asked me to leave. He also threatened me to call police if I didnt leave. He didnt hear my explanation. I just need 4 Apple pencils for business use. If I were a reseller I would buy much more than that. I went to another store. They also said I buy more than usual, but the way they did is much more professional. They sold me two and said this is the max I can buy. They didnt think Im a reseller given the quantity I asked for. They also told me I can register a Best Buy Direct account to buy more. Problem solved! Things can be handled in different ways, but this store manager chose the worst one. I dont even know how he could judge me as a reseller. Do resellers buy only 4 items?

Currently there is a fantastic Curbside Pickup system that is in place as an option.Rain or shine they bring it out to you!What’s really nice is to be able to discuss products, etc. with their extremely helpful and friendly staff.Something you can’t do with online shopping.It’s very conveniently located in Nyberg Woods so it’s very easy to get to from the freeway.

Almost always a great location to visit. Was at the store last night unaware that it was about 20 minutes to close. Had a floor worker ask if we needed any help. When we said we did, he said, “just a minute” and continued fixing a shelf for about a minute. Afterward, he was very curt. Not the best service we have had there. On the other hand, we have gone many times and received exemplary service. This one time issue was definitely worth noting, though.

Arrived and stood around for 40 minutes where not once was my presence in the store even acknowledged. After they started closeing down, someone finally asled me if I needed anything. They then informed me that everything was out of stock and they refered me to a 3000$ item. I then left and went to Cabellas across the street where I ended up spending over 1000$ on a neat eotech. Thanks Bestbuy for redirecting my money to a better cause.

We came in to get a tablet for our son and ended up also buying a laptop for Mom. The price for the laptop was originally $500 but was on sale for $400 and they had an opened box sale bringing it to $350. Ive been wanting a laptop for a while and this was too good of a price too not get it. I hardly buy anything for myself but love this laptop. Even though it was a return it was an excellent condition and they had geek squad look it over and guarantee it was in good condition before buying. When I got it home it still had a lot of the original protective plastic and stickers on it so I could tell that it was hardly even used from the person before. So if you go in look out for sales of previously opened products and rest assured its guaranteed by The geek squad. Thanks again! Also the lady that helped us out of check out was very nice and friendly and the store was nice and clean as well. Its nice walking into a clean store during a pandemic when germs are the last thing you want to encounter.

Keep it simple and share my experience I bought a TV about a year ago the seal around the perimeter is coming out the TV works great but I cannot return for a new one with the receipt per the fine print got me but its fine I will take my business elsewhere for those of you shopping make sure you understand you are forced into the warranty because back in the day when things had a defect and you had the receipt you could exchange it i am only one person so I know that best buy will go on about business just wanted to share my experience there are other store you can buy electronics from that will still adhere to common courtesy or just buy it from amazon they do not question you at all cheers

I didnt go in, but Best Buy is a go-to location for computers, computer parts, and computer repairs. The Geek Squad is not highly skilled, but theyre competent for basic work. Just be sure to back up anything you dont want to lose. I recommend Best Buy to my customers!

I will never ever step foot in a Best Buy store again! We bought a Samsung gas range there 2 years ago. And we bought the supposedly wonderful geek squad support package for $124.00. Now the oven doesnt work, and the knobs for the burners are all falling apart. I mean seriously. If we had a gas range built in the 1950s or 1960s, it would still be working. This is insane. (I wont ever buy a Samsung product again either.) Then, I called for service and have to listen to their bizarre electronic phone system for a half hour and then they tell me it will be a week before they come out. Then the next day I get a call from some appliance repair contractor who evidently has their contract, who says it will be longer because they are busy so they schedule it for 4 days later than the original appointment. Then today I get an email from Best Buy Geek Squad confirming my appointment for the original date, so I try calling to see whats up and have to listen to their insane phone system again! Does anyone still think capitalism works???? Complete failure of rationality going on in this country. My advice? If you need an appliance, go to the Restore and buy the oldest one you can find!Update: Next day after the phone call I got an email from Best Buy confirming the original appointment, so I called them to find out why I had gotten the call from the Appliance Hospital changing the appointment and they said they had no idea and had never heard of the so called Appliance Hospital, but confirmed that my appointment was on the original day. So I filed a fraud report with the state attorney generals office about the Appliance Hospital scam. Today is the day my appointment is supposed to be, and I have not heard from anyone regarding what time. So I called again, and they said it would be between 12 and 5 and that it would be the Appliance and Refrigeration Hospital coming. So I asked why I had been given misinformation before and they had no idea. This is the most confusing, chaotic and horrendous customer service I have ever experienced. DO NOT BUY AN APPLIANCE FROM BEST BUY!!!More update - I tried to call the store in Tualatin. Their phone number just connects with their customer service, which, when finally answered, is answered by someone in SE Asia. When I asked to be transferred to a manager at the Tualatin store, after being on hold again for a very long time, it was answered by someone else who said they were outside the US. No help at all!Another update: I emailed and finally talked with a manager, Valerie Holt, at the Best Buy Tualatin store, who said she would help me. the choices are that I could be without an oven for several months waiting for a replacement range, or go with my repair appointment. Cant have it repaired, which will only be a temporary fix, and then get the replacement when available. She basically told me that appliances are not built to last longer than 2 years any more, and that you should not buy anything at Best Buy, because they wont back it up. She denied saying that, but it is the message she gave. So, my advice - go to the Restore and buy the oldest appliance you can find, because it will last much longer than any new one you can get. Again, do you still think capitalism works? Ha!

I’m gonna have say a big thank you to Chris in computers section. I had my eyes set on one item, I can’t even remember but I think it was needed to be shipped and not in stock, so we discussed 4 other models for my son who does rendering and CAD as well as controls. Chris threw me in a completely different direction than I was thinking and he was absolutely correct in everything he said vs the extremely limited research that I have done. My son when he opened the box was basically “how did you know to buy this???”, felt a bit embarrassed but ultimately super grateful Chris led me in the right direction and my son happily agreed, thank you Best Buy and thank you Chris

The display case had one open box unit missing just about every feature you want with a camera to make it work for a reduced price. Yikes.....best buy isnt coming back. Was fine. Employees were helpful. New policy doesnt allow the use of electronic gift cards so we were turned away at the register. We were able to complete the transaction online for in store pick up. A little inconvenient but not by the fault of the store employee - Best Buy corporate may want to revisit the terms and conditions on their e-gift cards as the gift card we had said we could use it in store.

Only docking a star because it was very hard to tell where to stand/lineup for appointments. They do have a decent selection of consumer products but they are lacking the radio shack type parts that make an electronics store really useful for electronics.

Went in yesterday to exchange a phone case. A woman standing near the cases immediately started helping, telling me what cases I need and don’t need. She even proceeded to pick out the case I was returning.I had to tell her that I didn’t want that case and that I was just looking.So as I’m browsing, she’s just standing there looking at me. I go pick out a case and she’s leaning back to look at what I’m doing.I finally pick out a case and bring it over to customer service. I had to let them know about her awkward behavior.I understand that this store may have a high shoplifting rate, but you don’t have to treat customers with obvious suspicion and target them as though they are prepared to steal.Her demeanor was so unprofessional and uncomfortable.I won’t be returning to this store.

I just came to the store to pick up my order. One of the guy scanned my order and told me that I’m a reseller and I need to leave or he will call the police. He kicked me out of the store without letting me shop there. He doesn’t even ask me what I will do with the order. I never steal anything or violating the policy. I only ordered once there. This is so discriminating. My first time coming here and never coming back again. I have been ordering a lot of appliances from bestbuy for my house. From now on I won’t ever buy it from bestbuy again. I rather buy them from homedepot or costco for better customer service and no discrimination.

Stood around the Laptop section for a good 10 minutes was not spoken to a single time . I absolutely received no help whilst looking for a laptop. My girlfriend had to flag someone down. Just for them to tell me the laptop I wanted couldn’t get to a store or my residence until September 13, today is the 21st of August. The stores layout is confusing and unhelpful. Not a single employee wants to help you. It’s unfortunate I could not get this the laptop from Best Buy. I have to buy it from Target. Shame.

Bought a TV (which the sales experience is terrible, if you love standing around having employees avoid you come here) We asked the TV to be delivered, they said it would take a week. One week later they tell me they are not delivering because they had our address wrong. The employee had put our billing address as the shipping address. I called four times to the store and was on hold for over 30 minutes each time before I gave up. It is IMPOSSIBLE to reach anyone. They just kept pointing fingers at other people passing the blame around. This was the absolute worst experience I have had shopping. There are many awards on the walls of this Best Buy but I am not sure what for. I am left frustrated and frazzled. Finally we cancelled the order, but they refused to give us any receipt or paper or evidence that we returned the item! What is even happening?? Why would anyone buy anything in a best buy store? Ill stick to online shopping.

I came in today to buy a $1400 Yamaha RX-A3080 home theatre receiver and Magnolia supervisor refused to price match their local competitors despite advertising that is their policy and I provided photographic evidence. Their price is 43% too high and they seemed disinterested that I was also buying a $300 4K UHD Blu Ray and $200 Apple TV 4K. Guess I’ll spend my $2000 somewhere else. Big miss Best Buy!!!

I went in to get a member to replace my cracked screen protector and to find a replacement for my stereo component that is no longer performing well. Luckily for me, a team member, Damian, happily replaced my screen protector while helping me find the perfect replacement for my expired CD player and FM Tuner! He ordered it for me to be delivered within a week, all of this done with proper Covid protocol in a very safe friendly manner! I had purchased an item in-store and there was no available stock on hand. Person created purchase order with no problem and was told it would be shipped direct to my destination location.Designated ship date has passed and I have had no luck in contacting the shipper for current information after multiple attempts.I contacted the store as I bought this in person because I also wanted the customer service and a physical point of contact in case issues arise. I was basically told We cant help you, contact the shipper.I work in purchasing and track shipments everyday. If I told the customer to contact the shipper themselves and that I cant help, I would be reprimanded.Unsatisfactory customer service and follow through of an order.

Terrible experience! They sent me message telling me my order was ready for pickup. After I spent one hour one the way, I got the message saying my order was canceled. I was so confused. They simply told me it was a mistake and the item was out of stock. Then how the item was ready for pickup before. But no matter what, why should customers pay time and efforts for your mistake. They also canceled my other items before the pickup deadline. I was so disappointed at shopping experience. Please be professional and show some respects to your customers!

Awesome service 👍 bought a phone there last month dropped it and thought I broke the screen 😪 took it in today and the young lady said not to worry it was just the screen saver and she replaced it and had me on my way with what feels like a new phone 👍🙏 God bless those people they have always helped us and have been very knowledgeable about our issues and questions!

I ordered a new Sony blueray player on bestbuy.com because I live 2 hours away from the nearest store. The player that I was sent arrived used and broken. I immediately boxed up the return and had to call customer service for a return label because of a glitch in the website. Now a month later, my broken returned player was mailed back to me with a letter saying it couldn’t not be returned because the serial numbers don’t match? As far as i know, that means someone scammed the store it came from and Best Buy is leaving me holding the bag. I talked to 4+ customer service reps and no one will help. Stores aren’t answering their phones. Good luck shopping here, you’ll need it.Edit: I was able to receive a refund by writing in the forums on bestbuy.com leaving this review because it seems to be a common issue that people are purchasing broken items and being blamed for the problem when they attempt a return. Best Buy needs to re-evaluate their customer service practices.

They didnt have the part I needed, but they did have a guy by the door who was helpful, understood what I was looking for and knew they didnt carry it, so I didnt have to waste a lot of time which I appreciated.
