I love this store! I like to walk around and look at everything even if I dont intend to buy anything. Prices are affordable and staff are friendly. I leave having lots of new ideas for future products. They have candy too....always a plus.

Five stars for a Risa in the frame department. I had a custom framing need and talked to Risa on the phone. Unfortunately immediate was not really possible with a custom frame. She made some recommendations over the phone and I told her I’d be over in a few minutes. She was there waiting for me and came up with an awesome solution. Can’t think of the last time I was in a Michael’s, but I’ve got to tell you I will be going again.

Although we based our shopping list on that mornings email ad for that store location, not one of the items that we traveled there for was in stock. We settled on one item that claimed to be as good, but most of the bottle of paint medium was in the trash by the end of the day because it was such poor quality. The store was organized, clean, and had good signage. Working with a skeleton crew at the time we were there, there was little help to be found from amongst the staff. At checkout, the cashier was pleasant enough, and the few employees we saw were wearing their face masks. The item we purchased was pricey. Ill probably try Michaels.com the next time I need something without a rush, but more likely than not, Ill be shopping at a small, local art supply store.

I waited 40 minutes next to sewing scissors and no one came to see if I needed help. Another woman was asked if she needed fabric cut and that was it. The scissors and other items are locked up so you need an associate to get them, which is absolutely insane in a crafts store. Their selection of fabric is basically non existent, literally a couple options that dont even make up a full aisle. Sorry guys, Ill stick to Joanns - especially after waiting 40 minutes with no offer of help.

I love Michaels I just wish it wasnt so expensive. I recently made a Halloween wreath and I bought all the supplies here. I am glad that I didnt make it to sell because if I did I would have to sell it for over 50$ to break even. This place is for people who do crafting for fun and to give gifts, in no way are you going to do it for cheap. I would shop online before going here if youre looking for the best price.Ill post a photo of the wreath I made its about 12 inches across.

Most if their items are overpriced so they have big sales to make the items reasonable.

Today I was treated very poorly ..cashier only asked if I wanted to purchase a bag, I had a reward that was emailed to me as well as a 20% off coupon..she had no knowledge or wanting to help me ..the wi fi in the store wouldnt allow me to pull up my coupon or reward I had screen shots but she was very rude and made my experience the worst I have ever had here I may not be back!! There are other craft stores!

I was at the Western Ave. location and the service was great.I later went to the Nyberg Rd location and again great service from all the staff.I could spend all day at their stores good selection, clean stores and excellent customer service.

The ailes have one way arrows to control of flow and maintain distance guidelines. They attempt to separate cleaned from not cleaned carts (but definitely could do better). Good sales going on. Not too many people in the store at a time. I felt relatively comfortable considering were still in a pandemic. And most items I looked for were in stock, in fact the stock in general was decent, not sparse like I expected.

They didnt have a fabric section. That was disappointing. All that I needed to do was get supplies to make a head cover, for the Shepard in the kids special and it cost me $30. The supplies werent worth the cost. At least the kiddos will have fun.

Very bice staff, excellent selection in all craft project materials. Aisles are wide and the store is laid out logically.

This place is ok. Great selection and prices but not enough associates on the floor to actually help the clients they have in the store. The cashier I dealt with was very uneducated as to the specials, sales, etc. At the end of the day, I think I paid almost $10 more than I was suppose to however the time it wouldve taken my cashier to figure out what I was saying wasnt worth the $10.

If I could rate them 0 stars I would. My friend and I Came shopping for Pom poms and tie dye and we asked the store employee Kristen Where we could find these items. She rudely and dismissively responded to us and walked away offering no alternatives or further service. We had to chase her to ask a question. She seemed like she wanted to get away from us. The cashier was kind.

Got what we needed to decorate our own Christmas stockings

Store wasnt crowded, lots of variety of craft items and decorations.

Wish they had a bigger cross stitching selection, but overall a great spot for framing and craft needs.

The employees were so nice and helpful and theres really great gift options here for the holidays. :)

Great seasonal clearance merchandise and a wide variety of craft items. Bought out my favorite art store that had pure art supplies and they carry alot of their inventory but way too many art kits for me. You cant create your own stuff that way.. But that is just me.

I love shopping at Michaels, whether its a big day to shop or refill some supplies I can always come away satisfied. Today I replaced some acrylic paints. The associate at the register was very cheerful and helpful. I was even able to get a senior discount on my purchase. Oh happy day! There were a lot of works moving about on the floor and offered assistance, I am very happy with my purchase and look forward to my next visit.

Customer service was very leaving from more than one employee. I feel like I was inconveniencing the staff. Maybe next trip will be better. Perhaps it was an off day. They did have a good selection of the items we were looking for.

Clean and generally they have what I need in stock. I do a lot of paper crafting, scrapbooking and use of card stock for projects.

Excellent service, and easy to navigate the store. I didnt find specifically what I was looking for but a gentleman help me and gave great suggestions on where to find foam matting that I was looking for a project. Their 50% off Halloween section is pretty awesome too.

Stopped in the morning of 2/18 and tried to check out. Coming from the store toward the cashiers, youre blocked by a giant barricade type wall with no indication on how to get to the cashier. I walked from one end to the other trying to figure out how to get to the other side. I knew there was an opening near the store entrance so I entered through there. The extremely rude cashier told me to go back and re-enter through the other side. There was no one else in line, in fact, I was the only customer in the whole store so it wasnt like I cut in line-this was just a petty inconvenience to make me jump through her hoop before shell ring me up. I explained Im here now, why cant she just ring me up. She said because they are trying to train their customers to come from the left side of the barricade not the right. Train? Are we Dogs?I asked if her manager knew how she was treating customers and she replied, My manager is the one who told us to do this because ALL the customers are coming in from the wrong side. Well Genius...if ALL the customers are entering through that side, its because thats the only way we can see to get to the cashier. I recommended putting up some signage so customers know the way but she did not seem to care about the customers feedback on how they can improve their process. She was so combative and rude, that I left my items at the register and walked out. It was obvious she wanted to pick a fight and NEEDED to win...I was not willing to play that game. This was the first time at this particular location and I can guarantee it will be the last. Ill drive to Hillsboro, where the store is well organized, checkout is easy and the employees dont treat the customers like untrained dogs

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at any retail store. The male employee treated me like a piece of garbage. Good luck staying in business with that type of service, especially now with Hobby Lobby opened in Sherwood. I’ll be taking my business there from now on. Would rather pay more money and be treated properly than saving a few dollars at Michaels and leaving feeling upset.

Always a great place to shop for crafting supplies. They may not have everything but you can always find a coupon or two online with your phone while shopping for additional savings.

You can find just about anything you need at a reasonable price if youre into arts and craft. They also have frequent sales.They have a framing section, though I dont know how its prices compare to other frames shops. I had a custom matte made. It cost me $10 for each opening cut into the matte, which I thought was a little pricey since a laser does the cutting.

Michaels store was well organized and had lots of great things to use for decorating my wedding. However the price did seem high and the staff was quite minimal. I would suggest looking online, but for somewhere to see and buy it was great.

Clean, well lit store. Helpful and knowledgeable staff when I needed assistance. Unfortunately, Michaels quit carrying poster prints I wanted about a year ago. Its nice going into a store that has bright lights to see by.

Went in to look at planners- they had a big selection, the store was clean and tidy and I liked the way it was laid out better than some others. The staff were very friendly - 2 people asked me how I was, did I find everything. I actually had several questions and two different people helped me at different times. When I was checking out the gal was very friendly and accommodating. I even had 2 refunds plus a purchase. I would definitely recommend this store.

This Michaels is extremely well stocked but organized very well. Staff is super friendly. We had some custom can as prints that needed to be matted and frame and they did it quickly for a reasonable price. I would use their ser iced again.

Good, not great selection of crafting supplies. A little expensive but thats probably true of most craft stores. The store is pretty basic. It would be nice if there were some craft demos and the like, even if just examples of usage of some items.

They didnt have what I needed this trip, but that was because there I needed a craft bin that had to have partitions that met very specific size requirements. The staff really tried to find something that would work though, bringing alternatives for me to look at. The store has a large variety of things for anyone who enjoys crafts though. A fun place to browse.

You got to love Michaels. Its like a One-Stop shop for pretty much anything crafty. They have a great selection of scrapbooking items, tons of paints, charms and jewels to make jewelry, seasonal items, flowers and other sort of Flora and a great selection of just random little knick-knacks that you really cant find anywhere else. The only thing that would make this store better is if they sold fabric and sewing notions. Most of the clerks are knowledgeable and friendly and happy to show you about to find what youre looking for.

Its Michaels... The shelves are never really organized but they are good about keeping the aisle clear. They usually have a sale going all the time and discount coupons. If you dont have one just ask at the register theyre usually nice about just scanning one in.

This crafty place is clean and organized. If you shop here you will find the most helpful staff to cater to your needs. Prices are great combined with your coupons online or from your mailbox. Also, order on line and pick up at the store is an option. They have DYI crafts from making your own necklace to decorating your birthday party. Establishment is very busy at times.

They have a pretty decent variety all around here. This is usually the first place I go whenever ai need any crafting goods. The employees are pretty nice ad well. They are familiar with the store and always willing to walk you over to the products.

Really strange, I asked two different people for two different things I knew they had. They hopped on their little radios to ask someone else, then told me they didnt have them. It was cool, I found the stuff on my own, with no help from the staff.

I go to this location very often and they never seem to be stocked on pens, markers, pencils and other drawing/sketching tools. On some days the staff is very nice and helpful, and on other days there isn’t an employee in sight to help me, or they seem like they don’t even want to be there.

I have modest expectations for a Michaels. This one meets my expectations. The location is good and selection looks like any other Michaels Ive been to. They keep it decently organized, which must be a challenge for a craft store. Recommend.

Its not bad for a Michaels store. This one is better than most around about keeping the aisles clear so its possible to move around while someone else is camped in front of a section trying to choose what is gong to work best for their project so shopping is easier. Checking out, that is a different story. This location is near my work so to be fair Im going around noon and its usually the customers wanting to talk about what theyre making that slows everything down but that is the nature of crafters. I was excited to see the buy online pick up in store option recently and used it for a small purchase to save time. I shouldnt have bothered. They sent me to the framing counter and he was busy, no time savings. If the person working there has a customer, I could grow moss waiting. They are trying to choose a frame, perhaps some matting so you want to take your time and see a few options. The employee had to run elsewhere in the store to get my purchase and that took a few minutes, I can see a framing customer being pretty upset having to wait while that happens so I hope they do better on this process in the future.

Great craft store super close to where I live and I can always find awesome deals and I never run into things being out of stock. Any employees I have ever asked a question to have always been really helpful. I also always get really excited when I get their ad in the mail, because that means a craft shopping day for me!

Michaels has a great selection of crafting and creative resources including cooking, baking, candy, floral, jewelry, drawing, painting, etc. It also has custom framing.

The staff always knows exactly where everything is and can offer advice on any project youre working on. Theyre happy to give suggestions, check stock, and hold items for you. Youre also likely to get lots of coupons every time you visit, so be sure to download the app to never miss out on a deal.

Easy to access location off of I-5. Good prices when things go on sale. Friendly staff. Parking has never been an issue for us here, though based on the design of the shopping complex I could see it becoming a problem during peak hours/days such as holiday shopping. That being said, getting into and leaving this side of the complex is infinitely easier during busy periods then it is from the Cabelas side.

Very convenient but very expensive frames. Make sure to check the discount coupons. What is great is they are dog friendly store. So u can always grab ur dog and go shopping. More stores are really needed to follow

We frequent this Michaels store. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is checkout. They do not have enough staff to quickly move customers out the door. Often we wait in line to pay for our stuff. If management is listening, please add more staff to checkout.

I LOVE arts and crafts, but going into Michaels is chaos. The store does a great job cramming as much as it can into its retail space, but there is no real sense of organization. Yes, there is the frame section, scrapbook section, yarn section, etc., but then there are additional mini-sections so you have to hunt through the entire store to find what you need for the best price. I recently went in to look at origami paper, which I eventually found in the bridal section.When you are paying for your items, watch the monitor to make you are purchasing the items for the correct price. The sale items frequently do not ring up at the correct price, which is annoying and makes checking-out a long process.When you can find an associate, they are generally helpful and friendly. Thankfully, the store added a feature where you can push a button and help will come to you...eventually. It seems like the associates are mostly needed to assist with locating items, which they themselves must hunt down sometimes. A better layout could make employees more accessible to a greater amount of shoppers who need assistance.
