What I thought was going to be a smooth and easy purchase of a vehicle became a nightmare to deal with. Not only were they quick to take my down payment and send me off the lot WITHOUT plates, but I had to bring the vehicle back for repairs within 11 days of having it. Thankfully the 15 day/500 mile warranty covered this. I was relieved, until I kept calling for updates and could never get a hold of anyone. Finally after 3 days with no vehicle, I went in hoping that the repairs were done and I could pick up the car. Low and behold, the car hadnt even been touched. I was told that the car would be done by 4pm that day (Wednesday), but when 3:10pm rolled around, I got a call saying that they had ordered the wrong parts. This is what struck me as weird, seeing as the repairs I needed done were a 2-3 hour labor job. Yet they called me 50 minutes before the Services department closed. So now, on my fifth visit to this dealership within 14 days, my mother accompanied me with concerns that this dealership was purposely trying to hold the vehicle until my warranty was up so we couldnt report any further issues. Thats when their head mechanic Francisco decided to take it upon himself to argue with her and blatantly admit that the vehicle had these problems BEFORE they sold it to me, and that no 5 point inspection had been done, which is not what I was told by the salesman when I signed for the car. He also stated that I dont get special treatment even though I had an appointment for these repairs. I was also badgered by an employee in the service department about why I did not purchase the extended warranty, which was completely beside the point. Please dont waste your time with this dealership, especially if youre a young female planning to go buy a vehicle alone. They will try to take advantage and say anything to get you to sign. I received poor communication throughout the entire process, other than the salesman calling me 2-3 times a day for 2 weeks to close on the vehicle. Afterwards I was lucky to get anyone to answer the phone. Funny how the website says When you visit us, you wont be met with any of the sales gimmicks or dishonest business practices that have given the used car industry such a bad reputation. Some of the most deceitful and immoral business practices Ive encountered. Id give zero stars if it were possible. Id consider reading some of the reviews on the Better Business Bureau website regarding this dealership.

I purchased a Dodge Grand Caravan that was advertised as having an DVD entertainment package, backup camera and other options that I was looking for, BUT after I purchased the van and discovered that all of these options were INOPERABLE I was told by the general manager that even though they advertised all these options as being in the van that i should have verified that these options worked and that they did not have to honor the advertised product??? Really??? Does anyone else have any incidents like this, if so PLEASE contact me. I feel like I was dismissed because I was a woman by the general manager I was told that it would probably be cheaper to just buy a different DVD system, I told him that I was informed to get everything to work again that I would need to reinstall a factory system, he then informed me that they would not purchase this replacement and that if I wanted it I would need to purchase and have it installed on my own.THEY DO NOT HONOR WHAT THEY ADVERTISE!!

They did sell me a car (without yet having my license), it does seem like a decent car, and it seems to have a good warranty (seemingly provided by the lender, which they did helpfully connect me to). The staff is very friendly. On the downside, their language was loaded with obviously scripted manipulations and the deal I had said was far too much for me was not-so-sneakily fake-haggled down and increased at the last minute in a flood of documents I was told to sign. I would not have taken the deal if I wasnt backed into a bit of a corner with my lending situation. They pretended they were going to give me a better price, then tried to trick me into getting the same deal I did not want in the first place. They relied on me having a great enough need that I would have to accept anyway-- and they had changed the terms of financing AFTER accepting a hefty deposit from me, which was deliberately dishonest. The thing that bothers me the most is that they were blatantly trying to trick me and their go-to lines designed to pressure customers werent at all natural. If I were in a better situation, Id find a better dealer, and so too should you.

When negotiateing the price i was treated like a child and when he finally came down on the over priced car he then seemed very off putting they then asked me to leave a google review before i got to sign for the car and then it turns out they had lied about the car it had a salvage title and i was not informed until after i signed half the paperwork they then pressure you into doing a short video on how great they are. 0/10 very unprofessional and un trust worthy dont buy from them

Don’t buy any cars from cactus auto all their cars they get from an auctions. One car they got needed a paint job and they used black nail polish to cover the mark! Anything to save a buck! All the cars have issues they just want to make it seem like you’re getting a deal but you are not.I use to work for themSo I know how they work! You’re better off going to a certified dealership!

We drove off with an Escalade that we thought was a great deal. We ended up having to take it back the next day due to the truck dying on us multiple times, a warning light showing the ride control was faulty along with the transmission acting funny. Not only that, we realized after taking it back that it was never even maintainced through their mechanics before listing it for sale. It only had a 30% oil life left on it. We purchased it as a family vehicle as we have our 3rd baby due this month and we felt very unsafe in it(the truck was all over the road, probably because of the suspension issue). We took it back and was just met with apologies and asking if we had brought the finance paperwork to finish finalizing everything. We said no we didnt want it anymore as it seemed to have many issues and they immediately tried to sell us another vehicle on their lot that nobody followed up with us about anyways. Luckily we never signed the finance paperwork and the only thing we lost was our full coverage insurance down payment we had to put on the vehicle. The next day they put the Escalade back for sale and Im sure none of the issues had been fixed as they said their mechanics were extremely backed up. Be very careful buying a vehicle here!

I went in looked at a vehicle left a deposit. Was called shortly later stating there was a problem cause my income was 1099. That he had to run it by his boss and he would call me back shortly—-3 days later I called back and was told I didn’t qualify for the vehicle I wanted but a different vehicle instead. I agreed was told someone would be in touch I called them next day. To get informed that I didn’t qualify for any vehicle I saw the vehicle I left deposit on out front for sale the next morning after I turned in all requested documents——. The 1099 situation was discussed when I left a deposit and it was on paystubs They sales man was very unprofessional

The sales side of things was “ok” to say the least. It wasn’t ground breaking, and quite honestly I didn’t get the best deal ever, but I’m not really complaining about that. My first car purchase definitely could of gone better. The service side of things is a whole other story. I was promised that they would replace a defective part on the car before I bought it. Almost a month goes by and dates keep getting postponed. When I finally bring it in when “they’re available to work on it,” my vehicle sat in the backlot of the dealership for almost a week without them even looking at it. They then tell me, after I started to get annoyed, that it would take another week before they’re available. I’m an understanding guy, but this dealership NEEDS to work on COMMUNICATION! If it wasn’t for me calling every couple of days, I would be completely in the dark. I decided to just pick up my car and the parts (they ordered the wrong parts) and take it to the Honda dealership for it to be professionally done. Big waste of time for me.

After a year of owning our car I thinks it’s finally time to leave a review.At first, the place was a really nice option for us do to credit issues. The salesman was awesome and didn’t pressure us. He showed us a really clean looking car. The dealership was over all a good experience... at the time.For the first six months the car was great. We did the regular Maintenance. Oil changes, and rotated the tires once... and that’s when it all started. About a month after that the Differential went out. No big deal right? Well except for the extended warranty didn’t want to cover any portion of it. What ever we payed to get it fixed.Fast forwarding to about 10 months in. The engine blew. Which we found out was no big deal because we bought a Hyundai.Again, fast forwarding to today, our car is sitting at the garage again. Yesterday we got another oil change, and Alignment done because it’s been pulling really bad. ( we’ve had a rental/loaner for most of a six month period). We bought 2 new tires based off a picture I took of the of the front passenger tire.We went to discount tire to get the size (again based on the picture I took of the tire) we needed. After about 10 minutes of talking with the guy. with him telling us that the tires were the wrong size he sold us these 2 based on what was on the car. (225/65 r17)We had the 2 new tires but on the back cause those were the bad ones. We drove it home and noticed it was still doing the same thing. Pulling really bad to the right. I brought it back to the garage today. I rode around with the Mechanic trying to figure it out cause the alignment was spot on after he did it.We went back to the shop and were talking about it. With us buying 2 new tires yesterday, and having the issue with the guy at discount tire, I thought to double check the tire sizes. Keep in mind the front 2 tires were still the ones it came with from the dealership. The passenger one which I took a picture of was 225/65 r17. (Which is the same as the other 3.. the driver front was 235/65 r17.The guy at discount tire told us 235/65 r17 is what was suppose to be on the car. He also stated wrong size tires can blow the transmission and more. So when we Purchased the car it had 3 tires being 225/65 r17 which would have been the front 2 and one in the back along with the one 235/65 r17.The car is all wheel drive. So when we had the tires rotated the front driver tire became the 235/65 r17 and the other was the 225/65 r17. And that’s when our problems started.With all this being said, the sales people are great people, super nice. However if you purchase a vehicle make sure you check all the details like you know tire sizes. Seems like their to in a rush to sell cars and will throw anything on it.Legally, I’ll be seeing if there’s anything I can do about this because all the money I’ve spent in the past year has be ran back to improper tire size from the dealership.

September 29th, 2020 UPDATE AND CONCLUSION: They ended up giving me my money back in the end. Before they gave me my money though my sales person Frank had promised a loaner car and the day I was told Id be able to get it I called and was told that I couldnt get it because 3 other people needed it. They also gave me the run around on the issues saying they couldnt get it to overheat or find much wrong with it when the manufacturer dealership mechanics came back with over $2,000 worth of issues to the engine alone.•Frank my sales person also tried to get me to remove my 1 star review after finally agreeing to give me my money back when they had my car for 4 days when it was only ever in my possession for approximately 5 days.•In all I will never do business with Cactus auto again. I suggest that anyone who do record every phone call as I did and make sure you get the 15 day 500 mile warranty or you could be out thousands.•SEPTEMBER 14th, 2020: This dropped from 5 to 1 star because less than 5 days after owning the vehicle it was diagnosed as needing over $2k in ENGINE repairs. They had me sign something to the affect of 15 days or 500 miles whichever came first. When I called to tell them about the engine issues I was greeted with Why didnt you bring it to us first which as anyone who has bought a used car knows you always have your mechanic look it over as well. When they decided to take the car back to look at it (3 days ago now) I was greeted with WE wont charge $150 an hour to look at it. I was extremely satisfied the day I left their lot but now my girlfriend and I are back to paying Lyft and Uber for rides to and from the east side everyday. Ill update as this plays out.•Called them up 30 minutes before they closed and ended up accidentally making them stay open a little late. Ended up leaving with an 08 Subaru Outback that I have a hard time believing is 12 years old. Its in amazing condition.

Waste of time. Filled out a KBB car appraisal, Cactus Auto’s Taj contacted me and suggested to bring it by because they always offer above KBB. Brought it by, their offer was significantly UNDER kbb. Car guy said the A/C was cutting in and out despite me being blasted by cold A/C all the way home. I think I’ll stick with Carvana, and I suggest you, dear reader, do the same.Edit: Yup, Cactus Auto offered $3500, just sold to Carvana for $6888. Try them first, people!

We bought a vehicle from them back in March of 2019, we were expecting a baby in 3 weeks and our current vehicle was falling apart. We were desperate for a vehicle. Well we didnt even make it 3 months and we were replacing the battery, needing brakes, and having starting issues. About 6 months ago we had the fuel pump replaced, now we replaced the cv joint, needing to replace a control arm a window motor and regulator. We have also replaced spark plugs and an ignition coil. This vehicle only has 82k miles on it. We thought we were getting a great car due to the mileage but we have had it in a shop or repairing something every 3 months or so. It has been back in there shop at least 4-5 times to be worked on. For the condition of the car and all the repairs we have made the vehicle was very over priced. We really regret making this decision. We definitely wont recommend this place or do business here. 😕
