I recently bought Corbeau A4 Seats for my Corvette and needed them installed. After calling several places in Tucson and being turned down, I contacted this Brake Masters and they were willing to look at the seats and see what they could do. They took me in on a what looked like a busy day for them, and set to work. At first, the seats wouldnt fit properly, but instead of them being like f it, and sending me home so to speak, they formed a plan and worked out a solution that worked in the end. Everything turned out great and hey were professional, nice, and worked hard. I 100% recommend them.

Brought in my vehicle with severe brake noise. They did a full inspection on front and back brakes. $500 and 4 hour wait later, they put me back on the road with new rear drums. They pointed out a small surface crack in a rear brake line that would need to get addressed eventually. About two weeks later I heard more brake noise, this time from the front. I took it into a local shop where they turned the front rotors, but also found multiple brake lines millimeters away from failure. The mechanic said in 40 years he had not seen brake lines that bad before, and Brake Masters missed them somehow. I called Brake Masters corporate office and left a voicemail detailing my concern, but they havent called me back in over 6 months.

I have been to this Brake Masters many times. The manager,Mike is very honest . The last time I was there I told him that I felt that my car needed a tune-up and they checked it out. Mike told me there was no problem with the car and there was no charge for the diagnostic test they ran.I would recommend that you make an appointment because they are very busy.

I have used these guys twice now and plan to use them again. Their prices are very fair and I know what I will be charged ahead of time. Some of the work they have done for me included an alignment which was one of the most thorough I have ever had from any shop. They tell you when you might have some problems from parts wearing out so your ready to deal with them.

So I asked as I always do how long the oil change would be and I was told an hour to an hour and a half. I went to the coffee house across the street and could see my car and after an hour and a half called because my car was still sitting there. I was told they were going out to get my car at that moment. In the next half an hour no one came close to my car so I walked back and got my keys which were given to me without the tiniest apology.They lie in their rude.

Mike and Fernando on the desk are pros. Carlos on the shop floor did a very nice job on my old midwest trail Jeep, replacing rusty brake lines, shackles, and fabricating a bracket that had rusted away.An out-of-towner, they treated me very fairly and politely.I found everyone at the Tanque Verde store to be professionals with whom I will gladly entrust my other vehicles for service.

Another great visit to Brake Masters! I completely trust Rick and Jose with my car. I was having a transmission problem and was worried I needed a new one. Turned out it was just a sensor switch. They fixed it quickly and I was thrilled it only cost me a couple hundred bucks at rather than thousands! Having been ripped off by other repair shops in town I am so thankful to have found Rick and Jose!! They are always honest, very knowledgeable, and trustworthy.

I needed new struts, shocks and breaks. I called around for quotes and this location gave me the best price and in fact completed the job in just a few hours. My truck now runs great! Ill return to this shop for all future repairs, oil changes and other auto maintenance. Rick (the Store Manager) and his staff at this shop are all great! I now send all my family and friends to this shop.

#116 did a diagnostic today due to check engine light being on. The problem was a part that they put in 2 years prior and the warranty had expired. Because of being a loyal customer, they were able to waive the parts costs and charged me only for labor saving me A LOT of money. I cant imagine getting this kind of service from any other mechanic or company. Every time I go to this location, I receive only the best customer service as well as high quality mechanical repairs.

A couple weeks ago I had an issue with my car while I was out of town. This Brake Masters location took me right in and ran diagnostic testing on it. It turned out to be my alternator, which was still under warranty at another shop. Not only did they not charge me for the testing, they gave me directions to the nearest shop where my alternator was under warranty (one of their competitors). The gentleman I worked with there was very nice and helpful (wish I remembered his name). I will definitely keep Brake Masters in mind for my future car needs based on this experience!

Took in my car for 45K maintenance, just before Covid Fun...well, since then I didnt drive much but I had noticed a noise coming from underneath and it seem to start after I got it back from maintenance. So, it was probably a month later I took it in and explained the situation, Antonio was totally understandable and would look back what they did and double check their work...long story short, they found & removed a piece of plywood wedged in by the driveshaft, well they still double checked their work and took it for a test drive to make sure all was good - no additional cost. Those guys are solid, they take pride in their work, its hard to find trustworthy shops and not get taken advantage of - I will be definitely be a return customer and take all my vehicles there...

My first experience with these folks, had an alignment. I found the staff friendly, courteous and professional and the alignment waiting time estimate right on. Price was fair. Also, they pointed out a transmission leak and though they dont do transmission work they called another shop and confirmed it could be done there when I asked for.a referral. Ill be using Brake Masters for my car service needs going forward. Obviously I was very pleased with this first transaction.

I have been to 2 different Chevrolet dealerships, one here in Tucson and another in Sacramento.Both dealerships told me I was going to need rear brakes soon. The CA dealer told me Level 3 and the one here told me they were at Level 4 & needed replaced.They quoted me over $400 just to turn rotors and new pads.When I brought it to Brake Masters, I was sure I needed rear brakes. However after the FREE inspection, they determined there was plenty of life left.They were actually confused as to why the dealer thought I needed new rear brakes. Particularly since the front ones were worn more but still had plenty of life.Brake Masters could have charged me for a rear brake job and I would have been no wiser.Instead they provided excellent customer service and informed me I was good to go and no cost.Anyone care to guess where I am taking my vehicle when it actually does need serviced?HINT:Not the dealership.

Talked to Jose on the phone, and I came in with my brakes smoking. They examined my truck and immediately found several issues. I have a life time warranty on my brakes. My warranty was honored and service was performed with no glitches.

My husband and I were waiting for a replacement tail light cover. Then he got sick, and it rained heavily overnight. Water leaked through the cracks and the lights shorted out and I had no right brake light or turn signal. I noticed Brake Master on Tanque Verde, turned into their lot, and immediately the manager came out to ask what I needed. After showing him, three people were fixing the problem, even using an air hose to dry out the insides of the tail light cover. Reaching into my purse to pay him, the manager said, No problem; it was a small thing. Its on us. Well, for me it was a big thing, and their prompt attention and kindness made my day. Workers attitudes are absolutely great, but the service is very slow. There is normally only 2-3 mechanics working on cars. Take the day off, and dont plan to do anything else. Prices are alright compared to other mechanics. The biggest downside is how much time it takes.

Had a noise in my car when it idled. Took it in twice for diagnostics, they tried several fixes that didn’t make the noise go away. Rick was committed to finding the problem and he finally did. Water pump repair was prompt and reasonable, and they cut me a deal on the labor. Thanks Rick for the peace of mind!

Very impressed. Universal joint on my truck failed one night. I had the vehicle towed here because they had serviced my brakes in the past and they seemed honest (they had actually told me the joint was wearing and suggested replacing it but I declined....) I was pretty sure I was going to be without a vehicle for a few days. The next day, they were able to source and install a replacement. I had the vehicle back same day. Parts and labor were super reasonable. Would definitely use them again.

I have been going to this location for almost 15 years and they have always done a great job and yesterday, Doug, the store manager took it to a new level. I called ahead to check how long the wait time was and when I got there, my service sheet was already on the counter. Doug had seen my phone number, looked me up in his system and gotten everything ready. I was thoroughly impressed, so much so that I am writing my first review ever.

I have had great experiences here with all my vehicles. Doug is always able to work with me on scheduling, as I tend to come in at the last minute, and his team always does good work. I have shopped around for some of my major repairs and found that they offered lower prices than the competitors. All around, a very solid shop that I trust with all of my vehicles.

I absolutely love my 20-year-old purple Honda - in fact, it seems as though everyone wants to buy it. Well, now they really will. This car of mine runs pretty much brand new with my REAR BRAKES (that no longer sing to me when applied)! Also, my car can also STRUT around with its front end work. These folks are terrific!!!! Rick is new to this site - and even though Doug seemed to know my car inside-and-out - Rick is just as perceptive and has my best interests at heart. Not only that - get this - how often does THIS happen? - one of the folks who worked with Rick at the other location came in DURING HIS DAY OFF to chum around with Rick. What a treat to see people who ENJOY being at work - who are a pleasure to work with - and who help me keep my car humming along happily. Brake masters has always done a good job for me, Jerry Reyes has always been up front and honest. I have been taking my vehicles to brake masters for many years now. it doesnt really matter which one you go to, you will always get great service. And they do a whole lot more than just brakes, and oil changes. If you have any problem with your vehicle, chances are they can fix it, or they will recommend someone who can!They wont try to sell you anything that you dont need!

I went in for a check engine light and emissions check thinking it would be a simple fix. Jerry Reyes (came from a different store just to check out my vehicle) called me a few hours after I dropped my car off and informed me that my vehicle needed a few major repairs.Jerry made every effort to make this repair affordable for me and even stored my vehicle for a week until I could pick it up, Thats not even the best part!Brake Masters quoted me $350 less than the four other shops I called. (I called around for a few estimates after I got off the phone with Brake Masters.) Sorry I ever doubted you Guys.I picked my car up on 4/26. Jerry Perez had already taken my car to emissions, saving me the dreaded trip and long lines, gave me the PASS form and all I had to do was register online!Rich Fortuna, Jerry Perez, Jerry Garcia and the entire team at Brake Masters went above and beyond to make my experience as easy and affordable as possible.The extra special personal service and attention I received was hands down, the most wonderful experience Ive ever had when it comes to vehicle maintenance and repair.

This place is A+++!!! Not only are they great mechanics that dont try to sell you what you dont need, but they are EXTREMELY helpful! I work in one of the office buildings behind them, and locked my keys in my vehicle. Ive taken my truck to them before for oil changes, so I figured it couldnt hurt to ask for help. The Manager Rick was very nice, personally treated you as a human and not just another sleazy shop who wants the money, you could tell that his team wanted to do the best they could, they made some adjustments and helped me out in a situation where my oil was so low but the shop was closing, his team still took the time nessessary to inspect the vehicle, topped.off all. fluids and made sure to balance between treating my vehicle correctly as well as myself as a consumer with many choices. Manager Doug Sharp was extremely helpful in getting two older vehicles to pass the emmisions test at a price that was affordable. Still cost a considerable amount, but he found a way with parts that did save quite a bit of money. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

My son was in an accident and I had his car towed to Brake Masters. They did a full assessment of the vehicle, even though they are not a body shop. Then they allowed me to leave the car there for the claims adjuster to see. Ultimately the car was totaled, and no repair was required. The car was stored at brake master for 4-5 days and kept securely in the garage the whole time without charge. Doug and Chris were so kind and helpful and really made it difficult time so much better! Thank you!

Bad service, guy at the front tried to rush me into 50 dollar oil change, remarked he was clearly busy when asked about other options, charge extra for larger engine, if you are too busy to deal with customers, then you clearly dont want their business. Big guy behind desk.

Changing my rating to 5 stars. I had a problem on Saturday with an oil change appointment and ultimately didnt get it changed. Doug made it right today in a very professional way and my truck is good as new. I will be returning for future work.

Unbelievably BAD.I took my truck in for a minor brake fluid leak coming from the vicinity of the master cylinder - there was a tiny amount of fluid that had leaked from SOMEWHERE, but I couldnt figure out exactly where since it was so minor. So, I decided to have guys that do this for a living find it. It was determined that the master cylinder was bad and leaking from the rear - SO - a new master cylinder was mounted to the tune of almost $200.00.Fast forward two weeks later and it was leaking AGAIN and the same amount, so I went back.This time it was diagnosed as a blown rear drum hydraulic brake cylinder, and this was also the suspected cause of the master cylinder leak. Fair enough, and another $200.00 later my brakes worked just fine - no question replacing the rear cylinder cured the problem. I was pretty unhappy though that my first visit was completely misdiagnosed and I returned. I suggested a trade for labor on another issue I was having to remedy the money spent on the first repair, which was agreed to by the manager - so kudos for doing that.My BIG issue came a week later when I went to check the air pressure in the dually rear wheels. When they re-installed the wheels they put BOTH valve stems next to each other, and completely obstructed the inner wheel valve stem. I figured I would just go ahead and pop the wheel off and rotate it 180 degrees - the way it should have been mounted in the first place. I have a jack and air tools available and it would take just as much time for me to do it as taking it back to them.I could NOT get even one of the bolts on the studs to come free with a large star wrench or my air tools set on high power, and Im 6 ft tall and 215 lbs. They had grossly over tightened the lug nuts.So, back I go again to have them torqued properly, and as the so called mechanic was re-torquing them again (I watched this time) he proceeded to torque them in a circle - which is COMPLETELY WRONG as anyone that works on vehicles know you always, ALWAYS cross torque. That is the first lesson taught in auto shop 101 in high school, yet these clowns profess to to be ASE certified mechanics??Total amateur hour. Oh, and now my master cylinder is leaking AGAIN, just like it was when I brought it in the first time.Am I going to go back again and watch the circus? Nope, these guys simply do not pay attention to detail, and at $90.00 an hour for labor they should have their act together. Theres a word for how they operate, and it begins with cluster and ends in f**k*.

I took my car in for an oil change and the next day my car started overheating they said I had to have my radiator replaced several hundred dollars later I have a new radiator may or may not have been needed before I took my car in for the oil change I just thought was very predictable that I take my car in for something simple and cheap and immediately have to take it back for something more expensive. I was under the impression that they were checking multiple things when I had my oil change and I still wonder why they didnt notice when my car is in the first time that my radiator was having that much problems that it needed to be completely replaced

Ive been to many Breakmasters in my time and I must say that this one by far is the best everyone knows there stuff and I never worry about having to return for other broken matters, the staff is a cut above they really do take care of there customers, Rick and Jose both take the time and the opportunity to make u feel like u might just know a little about ur problem and will fix it ever time so if u get the opportunity stop in and say hi they would love to help u out.

Total scam. Employees are reading from a script and they will always attempt to upsell unneeded parts. Also, dont believe their online advertising. Once your car is hoisted on the lifts, theyll come in and tell you its gonna be $350. Please take your business elsewhere. You will save at least $100.

Went to different shop and got an oil change and was quoted rear shocks and front struts and needed front brakes and rear brakes quote came out to like $1,500 when to Brake Masters to get a second opinion you they pulled me out and show me my part are okayWould recommend Brake Masters to everybody.
