They have beautiful wigs throughout their store! I just wish we could try them on before buying it. All their wig sales are final and cant return them. Overall, very nice store and the workers seem nice. Just wish we could try the wigs on before making a big purchase

What an experience! I ordered from Waba for the first time last week. The package was said to be delivered by USPS. However no package was delivered. I emailed waba at their help email address. I called USPS and while on hold I filed an online claim for the undelivered package. The next day, a Sunday, Cindy with Waba emailed me back and apologized for my experience and suggested I contact USPS. I responded letting her know the steps Id already taken and asked if I reorder, is their an alternate delivery service available that would require a signature upon delivery. Cindy emailed me back and offered to re-ship my package AND the shipment would be sent UPS requiring a signature AND at no cost to me. This incident was CLEARLY the fault of the post office. Waba, by providing an easy ordering experience and timely tracking notifications, was in no way at fault. But Waba corrected the mistake made by USPS.I am blown away. These days customers are content with receiving a minimum of service but Waba has gone above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. I am beyond grateful for them and the service theyve provided. This is the ultimate one-stop store for all hair and beauty products. It has a large selection of hair of all types, lengths and textures for weaves, braids and even clip-in. I dont waste my time going to multiple stores cause they have it all. And helpful and friendly staff makes it a great place to shop.

Ive been to the store 3 times in total the past couple of weekends and can I just say its awesome all the negative reviews on this page are just insecure people who dont know that they dont need their hand held the entire time by employees the employees have always been supernice and professional and have answered all of my questions and its definitely my favorite store to go to now no more online shopping I definitely recommend this place and to support local businesses

Omg ! where do i start ? the customer service is the best customer service i have received from any hair company. the hair i wanted was no longer available the gentleman was nice enough to assist me into getting something that i would like, package was a little delayed so they shipped it in 3 days ! just in time for my event. ! packaging was beautiful, I’m very happy and i will be shopping here again. I’m a first time customer but definitely not a last.

In short we had a very poor experience with Waba. My wife has been buying hair from them for some time now at $180 a package. Our experience had been good up until our most recent purchase. The package we bought came with a manufacture flaw. My wifes stylist (who sends all her clients here) advised her to take it back to have it exchanged due to its poor quality. We returned the package with our receipt and were told there was nothing to be done. They even acknowledge the flaw but refused to do anything to fix the problem. We have been buying the exact same product from them for 2-3 years and have never had a problem so we were surprised. They honestly didnt seem to care. When asked the sales associate said there was nothing he or his manager could do. We were told that someone would contact us and we left our number and that of our stylist but no one bothered to call us back. For the money we have spent here I would expect better customer service.So long story we will be taking our business elsewhere and I would recommend others to do the same thing. Also as an aside dont bother going to Lees either same company and poor service.

This is a wig/weave store. actual beauty supplies and variety of these supplies are extremely lacking.

Called to make appointment for a haircut. They said they dont take appointments they do walk ins. Drove all the way there and said they dont do haircuts. Redialed the number I called to make sure it wasnt my mistake, it wasnt. Whoever I talked to is a jerk!

Their online service is the worst!!!!! Not only was I missing 2 packs of hair from my order but got the complete run around when inquiring about it. I had an appointment scheduled and then had to pay a rescheduling fee twice because I never received my items. Then when I called they had the nerve to only want to offer me a discount on my next order as if this experience would make me want to order from them again, NEVER!!!! Do not order from them online!!!!

Grabbed wrong hair color and they wont allow exchanges on unopened hair packaging. Assistant manager was very rude. They dont inform customers that hair is final sale and the store had no signs saying this. Very upsetting 😡

Online was helpful and I was able to order from their website and pick-up in store! 10s! 10s! 10s! Across the board!Although the lights turned off once... but they turned it back on.

I like this hair store because it it easy to find and they have lots of wig choices that are reasonably priced. What they dont have is a good variety on human hair extensions. If they even have human hair its either the really bad quality kind or the decent kind that they want to charge 50.00 for a bundle. I went to phx and got some good human hair for only 16.00 a pack.

Ive been a hairstylist here in town for over the past 10 years before I adding a 2nd job to my life. I was anti-beauty supply stores unless it was one that carried strictly salon products. I would not refer my clients to ANY supply store here locally. In fact, my clients would bring me samples of products that actually worked pretty good for at home maintenance in between salon visits. When asking where they came from, time and time again it was WABA, you know, that new store on Grant! So I went and shopped the store in plain clothes a few times just to see how I would be treated. It was always a great experience. Then I began sending my clients and my Pastors wife, for their hair supplies. So I went in and met the store Manager and all the associates and let him know who I am and what I do and that I would be sending a lot of my clients to his store. Theyve all been absolutely amazing and they ALL go above and beyond to assist myself, my Pastors wife, my clients, and anyone else I send in the door whether or not they know I sent or am sending them.-Ronnie-

Purchased extensions and only after the first wash they started shedding! After they 2nd wash they started tangling after the 3rd shedding at a crazy rate and tangling and matting.Tried to contact the website several times and not even the courtesy of a reply. These extensions were 22 Bobbi Boss (Ive used this brand for 10 years and never had this issue!) so they werent cheap.Buyer beware, maybe these were knock offs or like my hairdresser said, a bad batch, in any case the store NEVER replied.

These people will rip you off. This place was recommended by my stylist at the village salon. When i visited yesterday we were having trouble finding a color and length that fit what i was looking for (i was shopping for weave) and the sales girl pulled out a 200 dollar hair. She said Id get a discount because i was referred by the village. I said that was still a little more than i was looking to spend...so she pulled out one that was 139.99 she said (the sticker on the vast reflected this price as well) and it wasnt exactly what i was looking for but i was in a hurry so i went with it. I picked up a few other things and she rang me up. I asked about the discount she had promised and was told that was only offered if i was going to buy the more expensive hair...ok...red flag but whatever. When i got home i noticed theyd charged me 159.99 for the hair and that was 20 over the sticker price and price she told me. I went in today to speak with a manager about my experience and get the money back that i was over charged. He was very dismissive and said all they can do is give me store credit. He said the prices probably had gotten changed. If thats true then they need to update their price tags and make sure employees know how much things are. Obviously i didnt accept the store credit because i wont be shopping at such a shady place again. Awful customer service, i was mislead and then ripped off. I buy hair pretty often and they definitely have lost my business and ill make sure tovlet the other girls i work with know what happened here as well as my stylist so she stops recommending waba to her clients. Save yourself the headache and go to hair club. Better prices on better quality hair and all around better staff and better experience. Dont let these guys rip you off. If you do shop here make sure you check your receipt before you leave to make sure you werent overcharged.

Lye relaxers, lighteners, and a wide range of colors not available anywhere else in Tucson.Plus they have TONS of inexpensive, cult makeup brands like LAGirl and Absolue and even some NYX, too.Positive:They offer a HUGE range of products not available ANYWHERE else but online. Waba puts corporate chains like $ally’s to shame.I have only been to their location on Grant, so this may not be the case at every store (which is why I am giving 4 stars instead of 2.5) but on Grant overall their staff is brash, kinda rude, inattentive and they seem to blindly encourage people to purchase things about which they are unsure while they have a brutal return policy. It took all of my willpower & patience to get store credit for something I never used and they charged me a mysterious “restocking fee” that amounted to $49. But, I was still relieved that I was able to make the return at all, without having the staff scream at me. It’s so TENSE in there.If you’re losing your hair because of chemo and you don’t know which product to buy or how to draw in your eyebrows, wouldn’t you want the help of a patient, knowledgeable salesperson? I saw that exact scenario and was so upset to see how dismissive the cashier was to that woman.Addendum:I was just there and had the pleasure of being helped by a lovely new salesperson, Kennedy. She was honest, helpful and not pushy.Unfortunately, her shift ended before I completed my purchase. If Waba hired more people like Kennedy I believe shopping there would be much more pleasant.UPDATE as of 5/19/20They have new staff and I really saw a huge improvement in the ambience. Also, SO many more options for us curly blondes. Their wig selection has like tripled or something.You’ve gotta go. And check this out: THEY NEVER CLOSED DURING Covid except for like a week in March. I was so starved for beauty retail and then they told me they’ve essentially been open the whole time! Wow! Love you WABA!

I love this place. And the staff are amazing.

I use to like them, but after today this company wouldnt get another penny from me. Their staff is rude, not helpful what so ever the dont know anything about their products, and Ive gotten okay 100% human hair from them before they dyed nice but the life of them exceeded 7 months max. This last transaction has left me out of money and stuck with FAKE HAIR! I called them and told them what happened and how I sewed the clips on and then made the weft packs of hair into extensions and I washed them and it was just terrible it was fake, and all over the package it said it was 100% human hair, when i called and explained what happed to the man and he said that I could get a refund or exchange regardless, so when I went in to the place the manager, who was working at the time, was very smug and rude, he wouldnt work with me at all, so I will be reporting them for false advertisement.
