Came in to buy a new bed for my elderly mother. Derek, the sales associate, greeted us the minute we entered the store and made us feel welcome. Visited 9/13 ~3pm. If I could give zero, unfortunately I would. High pressure sales tactics, w/ “how much are you trying to spend” not even asking how are you today? Just spitting off statics like it’s suppose to sell. My boyfriend and I walked in looking for a mattress we could both agree on. Well, poor customer service skills along w/ the condescending attitude was not worth the visit. Saleswoman. Whatever her name was, she was waiting for food to be delivered and we clearly interrupted her before she could get to her foods. The interaction was like sandpaper. Aggressive. Unnecessary. Buy a mattress now or you’re stupid attitude. Interjecting to me: “Why are you looking at him?” -because he is also paying for the mattress…Didn’t leave impressed, and in fact went to Macy’s and bought a 5000 mattress that day. Thanks for assuming we were broke and couldn’t afford to be comfortable. Very poor customer service, I’ve worked retail before and the level of disrespect was off the charts.

We had been looking at mattresses online and finally decided to go to mattress firm to check them out. We werent planning on purchasing a mattress. Melissa was the most knowledgeable person about mattresses that I’ve ever met. She was thorough, considerate, helpful and answered every and any question I could think of asking. So this is my first Google review and I felt I just needed to give 5 stars to our salesman. My husband and I were helped by Derek when we came in. Hes the new manager he said and he was very enthusiastic. Great energy, you can tell he enjoys his job. He was very professional and diligent, he carried a clipboard and notated everything my husband and I said, or it seemed. He explained everything about the beds we tried. What was in them, what we would be feeling and why. We werent aware of so many styles of beds out now. Guess it shows we needed a new bed. Derek also showed us the adjustable frame and how it could help us sleep better. We took up quite a bit of his time and he never once seemed in a hurry to get us to buy but rather wanted to make sure we really wanted the perfect bed before buying. Im grateful he was our salesman as I my husband and I have tried looking for a bed prior with other companies and similar Mattress Firms around town. Never received customer service like that. We wont need a bed anytime soon but we will tell friends and family to go to Derek. Thank you for reading.

Went to many stores, in the end, I could have just started and ended my search here! Melissa was great; not only with her product knowledge but also working to make sure that I got the best bed for me— one that was comfortable and met all my foreseeable needs, while working within my budget. Delivery was quick and within the window. I did experience some issues with the setup of moving base, but those were addressed shortly after the delivery; in fact they called me to verify everything was correct and my satisfaction. With the crowded mattress market I am so glad I found Mattress firm, and a gem; Melissa. I will definitely shop there next time and send my family there too. Highly recommended !!

I went in 7/5/21 @2pm to just browse with my roommate, however, the female employee with orange blouse & glasses that was on duty by herself had some of the nastiest attitude I have seen in quite a while. We were just going to browse and test the feel of the different mattresses. She didn’t ask our names! First question she asked was by when do we need the mattress! She said that we were just wasting her time and walked away from us! We left immediately!

Derek was incredible. We had spent over a week narrowing down our choices and even decided last minute that we wanted something else. Derek never wavered and ensured us that we would be getting a great deal and a great setup and he wasnt lying. He saved us time and money. Sara was also incredibly nice and gave us great feedback on our new mattress. Very thankful for the both of them.

Derek was amazing. We came in and were pretty indecisive with what we wanted and Derek was incredibly patient. He is very knowledgeable and puts everything into easy to understand terms. I had no idea what a hybrid was but he was more than happy to explain everything to my wife and I. He even educated us on the base that is adjustable and gave us one heck of a deal. We made things even crazier for him by changing our minds on the size of the bed, but he was able to accommodate our request without a delay in delivery. The salesperson told me I was wrong about quality ratings for a mattress I was interested in purchasing. And she insisted that I was wrong about the price I found across the street at Macys. I went back to Macys and purchased the mattress for that price - a savings of $232.45 from what she insisted was the price nationwide. And to top it all off, Mattress Firm wont take customer complaints either by phone or online.

Melissa was great and I did buy a temp hybrid with an adjustable stand HOWEVER when I was leaving I went back to the bed to lay on it one more time and the manager was selling the same bed I just bought to a couple. So I totally jumped in and started telling them they cant go wrong and how I just bought one. They asked me a lot of questions and I answered. And they bought one!!!! I mean the manager said I had a job anytime. I sold the bed!!!I thought for sure the manager or Melissa would at least throw in the mattress pad cover which was $100! I was also told it would be delivered the next day however AFTER I bought it I was told 2 days!!! So I am very disappointed being I have to work Mon thru Fri. I would have gone somewhere else. I mean i spent almost $5 grand AND I financed it to help Melissa out. At least have it delivered the next day as promised! I mean do something. I live minutes from the store!!!

You have to select a star which is the ONLY reason they will receive 1 from me. They will bend over backwards to get you to buy a bed (6k) then they will FORCE you to keep it even if you know you want to exchange it. They will say thats their policy and you must have it longer to know. After that when you have fulfilled their policy and are finally able to do the exchange they will then make up a new excuse and refuse it! They refuse to honor their warranty! They refuse to give you their regionals name/ contact. They prey on people, take advantage and stick it to you and blame policy for their horrible customer relations. So if you want to really buy a bed and have a good experience DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT purchase from ANY Mattress Firm - EVER!

My husband & I initially started looking for a mattress in our local area, Sahuarita, Arizona. We found one that we really liked and got the information about it. We were told that one will be coming into the store in ten days. We were happy with the information but always continue to look at other stores for deals. We stopped at 2 other mattress stores. We were helped helped by Robert A. In the second store, which was also a Mattress Firm. Robert looked up the delivery date for that particular mattress & he told us the next delivery date was to be January 7th. I shared with Robert that we were told we could have the same mattress in 10 days. He got on the computer and looked up the next delivery date and said what we had been told was incorrect. We did appreciate his honesty & chose to purchase from him simply because of his honesty.
