We recently went shopping for my daughters wedding dress. We started out with an appointment at a national chain, and were underwhelmed with the limited number of options (4) for dresses that werent covered in lace. Our second appointment was at Maya Palace. Maria helped us out, and my daughter tried on 12 dresses that were in the less embellished style she likes. We found an amazing dress.What we liked about Maya Palace: variety in the selection of dresses, attentive service without hovering, great 3-way mirror set-up that lets the bride and shopping pals see the dress from all angles, the fitting/dressing room was conveniently open, but felt private, straight-forward explanations about ordering and alterations (Maria consulted with the seamstress to make sure her information about alterations on the dress we chose was accurate). I highly recommend Maya Palace!

This place is amazing Even though I am a man I Could have easily spent hours looking around it all the beautiful clothing and jewellery. All of the employees were gracious and helpful. Special thank you to the owner who is so kind in accommodating my needs and willing to dye a white shirt for me that I needed in red or pink. I ended up buying a dress from a bride who cancelled her wedding due to Covid so I did not get my dress here however, I had a friend recommend Maya Palace for my alterations and they did an incredible job. I was slightly worried about getting my dress altered at a place it wasn’t purchased however they blew me away. My dress fit like a glove and my bustle was perfect. My dress was an extremely heavy ball gown and the bustle lasted through a night full of dancing holding the weight of the train. My dress was also strapless and despite the weight it didn’t budge all day or night. I highly recommend them for alterations! I also noticed an incredible dress selection while there for my alterations.

I cannot give this place enough stars! Susie is a genius and all the ladies are so helpful and kind. They helped me find the perfect dress for my daughters wedding and jewelry as well. Outstanding customer service!

Maya Palace has the most inventory of any bridal shop in Tucson. Once you find the style you like there will be many options to try. I shopped here twice and found multiple dresses I loved, including “the one”. Margarita and Suzy were a dream to work with and we celebrated with champagne at the end of the appointment. I have heard great things about their alterations department, though I have not used them just yet. This is definitely a great place to shop.

I absolutely loved my experience here. Maria was1 kind, helpful and listened to what I wanted and pulled my dream dress! They have a large selection and are decently priced. I will recommend them all day before Davids Bridal or any other franchise.

Margarita was AMAZING! She is so kind, and she went out of her way to help me find my dream gown in my budget. I could tell she genuinely cared about helping me find my dress instead of just trying to make the sale. She truly gave me the “day yes to the dress” experience and never once made me feel belittled for my tight budget or fast upcoming wedding date. And on top of that, She gave me a fabulous deal! Excellent Customer Service and the most unique, and gorgeous selection of dresses

I recently went to Maya Palace to shop for a wedding dress and Susy was so much fun and so helpful in helping me find the perfect dress. Unfortunately, the ceremony was cancelled due to COVID complications and Susy continued to be so helpful and understanding. The store is so colorful and unique, my mom has been shopping here for years and I can see why! The customer service was above and beyond.

My mom, my girlfriend and i walked into this store with eyes wide! the dresses were GORGEOUS and we were in love but the prices let out hearts down. not to say these dresses are worth cheap, but we couldn’t afford a single thing in that store. such a let down considering this place was recommended to us several times.

Margarita was so helpful in finding the perfect wedding dress. As in all retail stores, up-selling is part of the job; but they picked such beautiful pieces, I was willing to pay extra. They have such a huge variety of dresses, accessories, and shoes. All beautiful in their own way. Thank you Margarita for the wonderful suggestions!

I purchased my wedding dress for a March 2020 wedding from Maya Palace. After researching designers and styles and then trying other bridal salons, where the prices were much higher and none of the styles were quite what I was looking for, my godmother suggested trying Maya Palace. I walked in one day on a whim and Suzie helped me look at a few options. She was very kind and thorough even though I was a walk-in and the store was busy. The number of choices was a little overwhelming so I decided to make an appointment and come back another time. Suzie helped me again at my scheduled appointment time and I was able to make a choice with the caveat that it would need some alterations. The dress arrived a little ahead of schedule and I started alteration appointments with Sylvia. Sylvia and her team were amazing and did an excellent job on the alterations - they really went above and beyond. I would definitely recommend giving Maya Palace a try.

If you want a dress that fits perfectly and a second-guessing free experiance, Maya Palace is your place! All the ladies make you feel so welcome and know what theyre talking about. My stylist listened carefully to what I was looking for and brought my many options plus a few that she thought would flatter my figure. Thats how I found the perfect dress that was bacially build for me. Their in-house seamstress only had to alter the hem and bustle it for me. Im also a seamstress and could tell she was excellent at her craft. Also, the veil and floral crown piece my stylist picked out for me was exactly what I had been hunting for. Etsy had similar styles for 4x the price! So I was very happy at finding what I was looking for (Im a very picky shopper). I bought my dress in October 2020, it had to be ordered and arrived in early January 2021. I had two fittings and had the dress in my possesion by mid-February with my wedding in mid-March. They also offer a voucher for dress preservation and Ill be working on that here soon (been married 10 days lol)

Very judgmental I went in to look at dresses and a lady there was pressuring me to try on dresses out of my price range and not my style after I told her over and over. I was left standing there after they quoted me on alterations they just walked away. Pretty rude if your not planning on buying anything from this over priced over blingy dress store.

Went there to look for a bridesmaid dress (we were all picking our own just in same color) they were beyond helpful and accommodating. I had my toddler with me and they were so friendly with him and even offered to give him a snack. The service and just the positive attitude was above and beyond. I also felt they were honest if something didn’t look good - they were genuine and not just looking to make a sale. Highly recommend

Terribly disappointed!My daughter had a truly magical wedding in Paradise Valley.I spent over 1,200 on a mother of the bride dress with a total of over $2500 in other items.The dress was supposed to be slightly altered.I called and requested that the gown be shipped to my home state in Indiana after alterations were complete.The dress was sent to my home and no alterations were completed.I returned the dress and once again requested that alterations be made after speaking with the owner .I was confident the alterations would be complete .it was mailed for the second time back to my home and the alterations were still not complete.The cost of my gown included the alterations.I had to hire a seamstress in my home state to make the minor shoulder alterations.This professional seamstress showed me that the gown had been very worn and she brought to my attention that the inside lining was shredded at the seems inside the gown in multiple areas.I called the store and was connected to a voicemail.The owner who is the one that helped me with a gown never returned my call after leaving two voice messages as well as messages at the store.I did not have time to pick out another gown.I wore it not feeling good that I had paid more than $1200 for a used gown where the lining was sheared.I felt rather dirty in another woman’s gown.The owner did absolutely nothing including not returning my calls.My daughter has now since moved to Tucson and my husband and I will be planning retiring there as well. With a family of medical professionals we are sure to make many friends in the area.I will make sure that those in the community know of my experience in preparation for my daughter‘s wedding.Merrilee Frey

Very bad wedding dress shopping experience here. By far the worst of the three places I went to. Consultant was late, didn’t ask me anything about what I wanted, and kept bringing me the same style of dress that I kept having to say no to. Very disappointing since my mother in law planned this trip from Seattle just to go wedding dress shopping at this place. I will never go back.

Wonderful experience!! Stopped by to look for a dress for my 85 year old mother for my daughters wedding. Suzanne who helped us found something within minutes! My mom tried on the first dress and it was perfect! We also tried on a few others but nothing compared to that first dress! She also found a purse and jewelry to match the floor length gown. Suzanne could not have been more helpful. She was super attentive to us while also helping others. Overall the whole experience was fun and would highly recommend!

I have always been fond of Maya Palace. Every time someone was dress shopping I would say go there and sure enough that is where they said yes to the dress. My turn finally came around and I am getting married in March. I found my dress within the first 30 min of looking. My consultant was friendly and so helpful. Today, I had my first fitting and met with Sylvia. All I have to say is wow! She made me feel at ease and so friendly. Margarita Sarah the store manager has an excellent team working for her. A real gem of a store. We went to get our daughters vail and I ended up getting a super nice shirt. Wonderful people and an amazing selection of clothes.

You must visit this place if you have been searching for a dress or anything else for couple days.Here, they helped us modifying a dress we already had. We got​ accessories, modifications, cleaning, and matching shoes and hat.We have been looking for a place to modify and fix our wedding dress since couple weeks, and finally, we came here to find everything we wanted and more in one place. Also, they gave me a very good recommendations to find what I need.In another words, start with this place if you want to have something special.

I just bought my bridal gown and I couldnt be happier! I made an appointment with Maria and she was so kind and helpful. We discussed the styles I liked and my budget. She didnt pressure me at all, which was different than other bridal salons I had visited. I ended up getting a dress that was on sale and in perfect condition. I look like a million bucks without spending a fortune!

This was my first stop for a wedding dress, and I was DREADING trying on dresses. This place was fabulous! So many beautiful dresses in all sizes. The customer service was fantastic. I did not find my dress yet, but plan to return to try on more options. I highly recommend Maya Palace.

This was my first time here,and I had heard great things about this store. I walked in and was helped immediately by an associate. I told her I was looking for a long black fitted evening dress but that I was also open to other styles. It started out fun, however after trying on almost 20 dresses it was exhausting. She brought me the most gaudy ugly dresses and stopped listening to my concerns and wants. She kept trying to sell me and proceed to say Wow to every dress I tried on even when it looked awful. She also never talked to me about my budget. I was ready to leave and look for other options and she literally threw a catalog at me and told me all the other stores in Tucson were cheap and had bad quality. Thats when I got extremely uncomfortable and disappointed and finally left. I HATE pushy sales people, I feel I wasted my time and I would not go back here.

I knew that Maya Palace was where I wanted to purchase my wedding dress because I purchased my prom dress there years before. My experience as a bride was beyond what I could have imagined! Maria and Susy were so genuine and never pushy - they never tried to get me to purchase something I could not afford or that did not suit my style. I found my dream dress within my budget and did not have to sacrifice quality for it. In addition, I do not live in the state, so they really accommodated my schedule and communicated with me often. Five star establishment all the way around!

A very nice store. It was fairly crowded with dresses, so a little overwhelming, but the staff was very helpful and friendly. The gal who worked with me actually found the dress I ended up buying when I probably would have passed it up. Their fitting area is nice and the seamstress for alterations did a perfect job quickly. I bought two dresses, so Im probably set. But Id recommend them to others. Just be aware of the cramped quarters because they have soooo many dresses etc there.

We experienced a bridal gown emergency and Maya Palaces staff saved the day. While attempting to steam her dress my wife burned a large hole in a very conspicuous place. I was sure the dress was ruined and just 3 hours before she needed to be in it. Their seamstress was very skilled able to take some fabric from another layer of the dress and make a cover up sash that complimented the dress so well that it looked as though nothing had ever happened. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Many thanks to them again.

I just purchased my wedding gown (AMAZING MAGGIE SOTTERO detailed from head to toe) from Maya Palace. They sold it to me off the rack since I did not have time to order one. I had been searching for my gown all over Tucson and finally found it here. Parker was amazing and helped me say yes to my dress! :) I have not had my alterations done yet, but Ill be back to review that.

As a bride who purchased a dress online i felt the need to go in and check to see if i should do any alterations to my dress, and to look into seeing if i could have a large stain on the third layer removed or covered. The ladies at Maya palace were nothing short of amazing to me. I had tried on dresses in bridal stores before purchasing online and had never felt very much like a bride. They reassured me the dress was absolutely perfect and they didnt believe it needed any alterations. They also believed they could REMOVE the stain! I asked to see veils and jewellery and they definitely delivered! I tried several veils and picked one, im very decisive, but they recommended i try just one more. It was the one! It matched the lace beautifully and i immediately fell in love! They were not trying to make extra money but rather the veil was $30 cheaper. We then went over to the jewellery and i was shown the most gorgeous earrings and was shocked to see the low price tag. I left the store feeling elated and excited too see the results of the cleaning! I returned less than a week later and recieved my beautiful, no longer stained,wedding dress. I cannot recommend Maya Palace enough. The staff are absolutely wonderful!

I bought my wedding dress and veil there, paid for it and then it was ordered. They called to inform me my dress was ready and i was expecting my veil to be ready as well. Nope. They thought i had not paid for it and asked for me to pay for it again, and that they were not sure when it will be ready. They said they would call that following monday to tell me when it would be in. No call back. My bridesmaids ordered their dresses there so i asked them to get my veil for me, they asked to pay for my veil again. The bridesmaids dresses are a complete different story... the worker there said the dresses run small so naturally they ordered a size bigger, with the worker saying they will fit. Not to mention my bridesmaids HAD to order all the same time, my brides maids did not get them the same time nor have i gotten the rest of them..its been 2 months abd a HUGE inconveience since they took time to go get their dresses together thinking they would be in the same time since it was ordered the same time... the ones that came were beyond HUGE. Falling off each bridesmaid to the ankles.....and it was said it would cost 100 to fix it and take it in... when it was already a 200 dollar dresss.... everytime i called the place, they always told me to call back and or never answered their phone. I will NEVER come here again...
