I love Big Heart Coffee, it is a hidden gem in the Tucson area. They have a huge selections of coffee and other drinks available as well as pastries, cookies and other things on the menu at affordable prices. They also sell ground coffee to make at home also t-shirt and other prayer candles with themes of Star Wars, Golden Girls and Friends. They have a game night on Thursdays and all are welcome to attend. They are very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit!
Perfectly quaint hole in the wall with great atmosphere and a quiet positive energy. This local coffee bar offers a taste of local artistry both in you coffee and tea as well as in the decor and ambiance. If your looking for some great local art to take with you they sell local soaps, jewelry, and even wall art! This shop is great for a quiet cup of while reading a book or latte with a friend!
All I can say is, this place is GREAT! Those of you who encounter an issue, quite honestly are the problem! You get the energy you put out! I watched this play out while sitting in a booth there yesterday. Some people just spread negativity and dont see how gentle and vulnerable the owner actually is! I dont think she gave you attitude, I think your cruelty hurts her! Its a shame too, her and her staff are ALL ABOUT working with charity and community. I get what they are saying about not providing feedback just hurling insults. No helpful information, only intended to cause pain. Shame on you ALL. If you have an issue, address it with dignity and respect- for YOURSELVES! BIG HEART- KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
I enjoy supporting a business that supports other nonprofit agencies as this place seems to, however, I am disappointed with the turkey eggwhich and burrito we ordered which seemed to be microwavable Jimmy Dean frozen boxed food. The hot cocoa was excessively sweet (although might be enjoyable for those who like a very sweet cocoa). The ambiance is cozy, reminds me of an older cabin in the woods. Most disappointing was the breakfast food which seemed frozen store bought items. Was not expecting a gut busting meal but was hoping for something other than what I could pop in microwave at home. I will add that blueberry muffin was quite good. Some comments the owner responds to for reviews not providing 4 or 5 stars seem unfortunate. Big Heart Management: Please keep in mind when reading reviews, customer reviews are personal thoughts regarding an experience.
I loved the people there. They do great service! If you have any items from wish to please be well aware that the mail system doesnt seem to be working clearly. I was only able to pick up 1 item out of 3 and the people were awesome and with positive and understanding and hard working customer service to find the items.
I would give five stars if it wasnt for the coffee with spoiled milk in it. It tasted really bad as you can imagine. It was the first time I bought a coffee from them. Sorry but for six dollars it could have been better for a coffee 😞
Big Heart Coffee is a beautiful local coffee shop with baked goods, chocolates and coffee made from home. Their customer service is fantastic and all the staff are friendly and welcoming. They ensure they work about their clients. I ordered them this morning and they were out of a particular pastry that I needed, so I told the staff that it was completely perfect. Surely be back here soon!
This store is a wish pick up service but the items are not their dont waste you money n time. i drove 35min only part of my order was there and once they confirm the refund window close. clerk had no clue and complain that they dont make money with the wish pick up service. so basically they dont care for your business. so much for customer care. I will never do business there ever again.
Amazing place! Help others and the community. Get LOCAL products. Quality all the way.Great place to study, hold group study, meet, play games, read magazines, and/or buy coffee, Crazy Tea selection. All local.Donate to animals, people, buy gifts, support Amazing Causes. As you can see I am gushing. This place amazed me.
Lattes were OK. Love the idea of carrying locally sourced foods, coffee, and giving back to charitable organizations. However, the place was dark and felt cluttered. The woman at the counter was not very friendly. Wouldnt go back. Too bad.
First time here and thought it was a cute set up. Was excited to see all they had. But when asking about their different drinks, the blonde which I was assuming was owner seemed very annoyed that I asked anything. So after trying to order which was like pulling teeth I waited for my order for 15 min. While waiting I decided to order my daughter something with one of the younger kids that works there. She finally figured out the order and charged me 3 times. The blonde came to help and was really upset with her. She refunded me one of the charges but not the other. She didnt seem to care. I definitely wont be coming back.....
Great place! Truly a giving caring place! If youre not getting this from here- the negativity is YOU!
Coming into Big heart feels like you are entering your friends house. They have awesome coffees and teas. They can make them iced or hot. The ambiance is comfy and with feels of the southwest. Love the way they serve their drinks! Also for every purchase, the tip goes back into the community. So its a local coffee shop that encourages community involvement and supports it as well.
CUTEST place ever! Literally my grandmas house meets antique store meets coffee shop! Never seen anything like it so cute
Came in this morning for the first time. The lady working was WONDERFUL! Literally so nice! And the coffee was so so so good. I came in planning to take out but the interior was so pretty I stayed. I also got a muffin which was scrumptious. 11/10 would come here again.
Best Vibes and atmosphere hands down. Great coffee and food make it even better. Would give 6 stars if I could
The lady working was Caucasian and I noticed she acted a lot different with my sister who is Caucasian as oppose to my boyfriend today who is Hispanic when he asked for water she ddnt even look at him and responded by saying oh so u want free water is what ur asking? Very rudely again without giving any eye contact and away assuming that we wanted free water when were asking to purchase some in actuality. So I dont really rate her a 5 if u ask me ..? Shes always super nice to my very white sister....
My tea was great! I spent about 4 hours there enjoying the quiet. I had several cups of tea as well as the best hot chocolate Ive ever had. I tried the lemon bars and bacon ranch soup. All of it was great. The prices are very reasonable and 20% as well as tips go to charity. I will most likely go back to try all of their different tea flavors (and there are many). The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. It is the perfect place to study or read!
Cozy coffee shop with numerous nooks and crannies scattered thru out the store, many with convenient shelves filled with books! Excellent place for recharging after a hectic day or week! Mocha latte super yummy!! Wide assortment of delish baked goods to go with that grande! (I had the double chocolate muffin). Mellow, uplifting live music every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month 6:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Let Margie brew you a cup of comfort!
Amazing coffee and Chai! Plus they donate to charity! From every sale! Very cozy and quaint
What a great place. Theyre a little out of the way on it on the end of an old shopping center on 22nd. But the coffees are excellent they have many interesting baked goods and its a friendly very comfortable place. Youll know youre doing good by stopping by because all their profits go to shelters for abused women.
SUCH an adorable and inviting atmosphere. The coffee and pancakes were amazing. Good sandwiches too. Definitely will be back
Really great coffee was my first time visiting definitely coming again 😊🙏
Really pretty place, affordable drinks and sweets. Staff was nice too, would go again.
Different atmosphere than we are used to, family oriented, pleasant, friendly and inviting.
Turkey, feta sandwich 🥪 plus a strawberry 🍓 lemonade = Perfection! Good atmosphere, great company. Thank you Big Heart! ❤💙💜💚💛🧡🤎🖤
This is a great place that has a lot of options for great tasting coffee. My favorite is Caramel Macchiato.
My roommate pointed this place out on our way out of G&L International down the block. We stopped in for drinks to go, but if we hadnt had other errands to run and stops to make, we definitely would have sat inside for a while. The interior is so cozy feeling and has the same sort of vibe as my favorite artisan places back in Minneapolis. The two people working were wonderful! So friendly.I didnt get anything to eat, but the offerings looked really good. The coffee is also fantastic! I got a cappuccino with oat milk - the espresso was perfect. My roommate got a sweet and spicy chai, and was raving about it the whole drive. We will definitely be back! :)
Great coffee! Pocket friendly!! Fast and friendly not to mention lots of cool stuff inside!
Dont ask for suggestions they get bothered.
Coffee was decent but don’t eat there! Ordered a hummus plate. What arrived was a small plastic condiment cup with hummus a couple of stale crackers and 2 RAW corn tortillas! What on earth?? Also ordered a roast beef sandwich. Showed up on a stale roll and the bell pepper slice was the entire bottom of an old wrinkled pepper! Who would ever serve something like this? Oh and btw it took at least 30 minutes to get the sandwich and micro hummus snack. This place will not last! Never to return!! Don’t WASTE your money
It was ok the coffee was good but Ive had better. Its ok next time Ill try something iced 😊
Excellent coffee and service. Great first responder discounts and comfortable atmosphere.
Very nice place, the owner is, very nice, came to pick up a couple of packages, and ordered one of their smoothies, which was delish!
This is a great place to boardgame and socialize. I had a fun time. Oh! The smoothies are great too.
I just came here so me & my mom cud pick up our wish orders. The guy working was super nice. Unfortunately all the pastries and desserts were really hard. I even threw away half of the chocolate cupcake cuz it was so hard.
Gross, gross, gross I went and the manager was rude, gross. I tasted the coffee and it was gross. I looked at the place and it was GROSS. The caucasian manager can at least fix her GROSS attitude.
Its a fun place to look through. Lots of local artisans work on display. The people .. you couldnt ask for friendlier people. Great place 😊PS .. for Google .. yall need a n/a or noneya button for those Nosey Nellie questions that truly are noneyafingbizness!
Very cozy with diner booths and a nice atmosphere.
I wanted to save a little money on shipping; thats how I found my favorite coffee shop. The service is excellent, the owner supports similar charities as me, and the coffee is great. I could go on and on; but why dont you just give it a try? youll be glad you did. and if you order from wish... youll have a great place to spend the money you save on shipping. 😉
Great self owned place that is 100% local sourced and supports the Tucson community.
Every morning I usually make it an effort to get a coffee from a local business such as this one on my way to 4 of the businesses that I owe. When I got to work I was shocked that the milk was bad as if it was left out. I run a very busy schedule so I dont have time to call them or go back. Nevertheless, when I went the owner seemed to have an attitude.
I recently had some wish orders delivered here and Im glad I did bc i found my new favorite coffee shop. The lady working was eccentric and adorable . There were a yummy variety of tasty treats lunches and of course flavored coffees mochas and fraps. Definitly reccomend this place whether it be for coffees treats food or deliveries
Cute coffee shop, super polite staff, pastry bit dry...but to be fair, I didnt ask for a replacement.Ill be back. Great vibe and table set up.
Used this coffeeshop as my office one day while my car was being worked on and will definitely be back. The space is inviting, theres a lot of great coffee, snacks, and gift items. The owner is all about supporting local and thats my jam!
Big Heart Coffee is a wonderful local coffee shop with house made baked goods, chocolates and coffee. Their customer service is amazing and all of the staff are welcoming and accommodating. They make sure that their customers are taken care of.I ordered from them this morning and they were out of a specific pastry I wanted and I told the staff it was totally fine.As thanks they sent me some of their homemade Mexicali chocolate. Which if you havent had, you need to change that right away! It tastes just like heaven! You can tell this is a shop that genuinely loves its customers and what they Do Ill be coming back here more often!
Wish I could give it zero stars. The owner lady is so rude, took every request I made on bad faith, and had this rude attitude as If Im somehow torturing her by asking her to do her job, and even then she still never completely listened to my requests and consider me as a customer. I was treated as if Im just another number walking through the door. Terrible customer service. It was completely sociopathic. This place is mostly dead for a reason.
I asked for cappuccino and the woman in there has no idea how to make it. She is making latte with fully steamed milk.In addition not very friendly with the way asking the questions
Since its inception Ive loved big heart coffee. They support the local community by putting profits towards a different charity each month. They offer lots of delicious options and are a great place to study or meet with groups, and they provide a pickup location for orders on the wish app as well as selling fun gifts in store.
A nice coffee shop that is significantly larger inside than it appears. Im not exactly sure how they stay in business as they appear to donate 20% of their proceeds and all of their tip money to a charity (hence the name). I had an Americano, and it was better than Starbucks, but worse than a home aeropress of quality beans.A really great place to meet a friend or take a significant other.
Very nice family owned coffee shop. Whipped cream for the coffees is home made, and in a giant bag like a cake decorator uses. They use Ghirardelli Chocolates for flavors. Will definitely go back. Fair prices also. Decor is interesting, kind of like a little town gift shop atmosphere.
This is by far the best coffee shop in Tucson! All quality products are used for all of the drinks. They use all local coffee roasters and have excellent selections of different types of coffees and teass. A fun place to have a drink and hang out with some of the locals.
Wonderful people and a wonderful place, very prompt and great coffee/Chai tea.
This place is NO LONGER accepting deliveries for pickup by Wish customers. They cannot help you if you are told your package is there.
Margie _ I admire her entrepreneurship, her commitment towards success, and her devotion to her customers. She works hard to make your experience memorable. You will no doubt return if youve been in her store only once.
OMG!!😍😍🤩 This is mine and my girlfriends 1st time experiencing this yummy goodness and we are big time coffee drinkers. Friendly staff with such an AMAZING energy. If your looking for some great tasting coffee come here! A++++++++❤❤❤❤❤
Tried this place because of high ratings. Got an iced white mocha. Drink tasted watered down. Didnt see any fresh espresso shots pulled, the syrup wasnt mixed into the drink but just in the bottom of my cup.Maybe their hot drinks are good.. but as for iced coffee I threw mine out.
Its a quiet coffee shop and best part is that my wish items can be sent there for lower price
The owner very professional and extremely nice. Always clean and the service is prompt.
Great place to start your day or to stop in for a bite. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. I love it!
Great place for coffee. Good place to pick up purchases from wish.
Was driving down 22nd and saw this place from the corner of eye. Glad i stopped in. They have verierty of teas and coffee options. I had the 1/2 press coffee in a dark roast with a blueberry scone and was happy with my selection, the atmosphere was very relaxing. the service was great, I recommend this place to anyone looking for a good cup of coffee.
So as far as the food and drinks they are exceptional and yummy. However today when I went into the Cafe there was a young man working behind the counter with who I presume is the owner of the establishment. I just didnt like the way the lady was treating the young man he seems very young and probably was still trying to learn. Berating someone in front of customers does not make you professional if anything it makes you look rude. Everyone learns at their own pace and honestly when I came in it was not that busy there was all of three or four peoples in there. I just dont think it was appropriate to talk to him like he was stupid in front of customers it made me very uncomfortable and I think it made him very uncomfortable.
This place has the best coffee in Tucson. The service was impeccable.
Idk how I didn’t know about this place ! This is a great place to study big tables and good coffee 😀
Cute place! Loved the art & little gifts for sale!
First time in there, quiet and calm atmosphere, very welcoming. Greeted when i walked in. Asked if i was ready, wasnt sure what i exactly wanted so i let the barusta kniw what i like and she made me a drink. The treats looked too good to pass on so i got a pumpkin slice thing. Im not too much for sweets but this was great and not overly sweet, nicely balanced, and fresh, and went well with my drink.(Also glad It Is Not full of noisy hipsters, arrogant baristas, and packed like crazy as other tucson coffee places)
The lady was very sweet and helpful and accommodating. Great coffee and alot of awesome stuff to look at/ buy. I will go again 😁
I think this place is adorable and I wish I had a better experience with it because I love little mom and pop shops. I ordered a latte with oatmilk, an extra glass of oat milk on the side, pigs in a blanket, elephant ear pasty and other drinks to go. The oat milk was sour, so the latte was curdled, the glass of milk was bad and the pigs and a blanket tasted like the meat was bad in them too. I called to let them know and the woman on the phone was so rude about it that I don’t think I would go back. I still gave 3 stars because I want to believe I just caught them on an off day.
The ladies were nice, love that that donate tips to charity but latte was horrible. Very watered down and strange taste and texture. Had to throw out.
They are always so nice and the deserts are amazing!!
Great atmosphere and friendly people:)
A wonderful cafe with a great mission to help the community!
Amazing service, tranquil ambiance, wonderful muffins!! Nice muffins, girls!!!! lol
A very warm environment. Cant wait to return.
Some conservative flags that create a weird and unsafe space. Heard good things and immediately walked out after looking around.
People there made me feel out of place I went to pick up a package from wish
What a great little shop, but i say little but it really is not, it has a very large area for meetings and all plus they back the Blue and all first responders. Their coffee is awesome try them out
It was cute and homey. The staff were great too. The coffee wasnt great. It was okay. The muffin was pumpkin, but it tasted like they started making apple cinnamon, but instead of apples they used pumpkin. I will go back, but I will choose different items. To the owner: Thank you for the information. If I was aware of the policy of fixing the order before I left, then I would have asked. I also stated that I would go back, but I will choose different items from the menu. Its a nice place to sit and read.
Really nice people work there, great artisan pieces an a good place to chill.
Big Heart Coffee was amazing in helping me facilitate a coffee breakfast at my work for 100 people. The Mexicali coffee, both hot and iced is unique and truly one of the best tasting coffees I’ve ever had! When you meet Margie, owner of Big heart coffee, her passion, taste and ideas will have you wanting more. The different community outreach programs and donations going to people and organizations here in Tucson are directly benefiting from her generosity. From 20% of all cc sales going to donation to offering 40% off Mondays for military, first responders cops and firefighters and donating clothing to st Francis shelter, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved! Personally, I look forward to checking out one of their paint nights, book signings or other events bringing people in our community together. I love that we have such a diverse, inviting and exciting space here in Tucson. Thanks again Big Heart coffee ❤️
Love this place! Locally owned. Great place to have a nice cup of coffee or tea. Owner is very kind and welcoming, so is her staff. She sells pastries, sandwiches cups, mugs, and little trinkets. I just love it!!! 💗
The best part of big heart coffee is their Mexicali blend of coffee. Ive hosted meetings here and the owner is amazing! This is a family run business and is great to sit and work.
Do not send your wish items to this store. Youll never get them and shell notify wish that u picked up your items even though you didnt. Theif heart should be the name of this store. Its not slanderous fact is you notified WISH that I picked up my packages.I did not receive anything from you not leave your store with any packages. You got loud and rude with me when I started to say I wont be using your store to send my packages to. You decided to come at me with attitude and total unprofessionalism. Now that I posted something negative about your place of business you want to be nice. And by the way the pandemic has nothing to do with the way you handled this whole situation. Its bad enough we have to deal with porch pirates. We shouldnt have to worry about the companies that are supposed to be safe and reliable to send our packages to. Stealing is stealing. Not tolerated by any means. And you can post my number I havenothing to hide. If ppl want to ask I guarantee I will let them know. Facts are facts.
Military/first responder discount, very friendly staff, good coffee with pots of options
We popped in because it was recommended by some friends. We were greeted warmly by both of the ladies behind the counter. The environment was quiet and comfortable. The walls had art from local artists and there were multiple areas to donate to the community. The Big Heart shake was delicious. The barista offered to warm up the lemon blueberry scone, which I really loved and would recommend.
Wish pick-up point. Friendly, and good coffee!
