My computer crashed after trying to install a software update. They were able to recover all my files and re-install the software and loaded all my files back. It was like my computer never crashed. Not only did they help prevent a very bad situation by losing files, but they also took care of it faster than I anticipated. I hope to not have my computer crash again, but I know I will use Datadrive. Great company, reasonable prices, and quality work. ๐
Completely and wholeheartedly 5 star experience. We had an issue with the administrative profile on windows 8 being corrupt. Tyson came to the rescue with a remote log in and had us back up and running in under 15 minutes. He was completely patient and understanding. Thank you for your amazing service!
They are so thorough and great at servicing my computer, modem/router and setting up my new one and transfering all my programs and data to the new computer. They also came to my house and seemlessly set all of my new system up. I highly recommend them. Very nice too.
The techs at Datadrive are fair, fast and honest. If they cant service your computer, they let you know. If the repair is more than the value of the machine they tell you. They were fast at retrieving the data from my failing hard drive. I highly recommend this business.
Great service and very nice people. Matthew and his team are very efficient. And they will even come to your business to fix problems on-site. Been using this service for years and years to come
I am new to Tucson and needed laptop repair. DataDrive drew me due to the fantastic reviews. Well let me add another one into the mix because this place is great! Tyson fixed my damaged laptop and did a super job. On top of this, he was professional, helpful and had a very nice demeanor. He even gave useful tips that would serve me better as a customer or save me money. The only issue experienced was the payment system. Make sure you have a second debit/credit card or cash on hand. My first card is an online bank and its security is sensitive so I wasnt put off by the fact that it wouldnt go through. But I was surprised when I used BBVA, a local bank, and that wouldnt process either. This is more than likely not Datadrives fault and has to due with the payment processor or perhaps a combination with specific banks. In any event, I was very pleased with Tyson and DataDrive and they come highly recommended! Finally, the price was right and reasonable and they pick up the phone quickly when you call. Ill definitely be back with any future computer needs.
Tycon helped me over the phone. Was so helpful! Great helpful place. Thank you!
This place is awesome. They fixed my laptop extremely fast. This was really important since Iโm a student and need my laptop for assignments. It is nice to deal with someone who displays such professionalism. They even went beyond and charged my laptop. I will be using them for future repairs and tell everyone I know about Data Drive!
Read the good reviews before taking 2 machines in for service. This outfit has got their stuff together and is definitely hard wired! Good work, reasonable rates. Will use them as needed in the future.
Excellent place - came here with a dead laptop looking for data recovery and a diagnosis of what went wrong. They rescued all my files - including my senior thesis - found the problem, and answered all my questions and it cost less than I thought. Very helpful, great customer service
These guys are pure awesomeness in a cup. Every time we order a computer from them, its always well-built and made in a reasonable amount of time. Huge plus that I can walk in unannounced and any tech there knows exactly whats inside the case. Knowledgeable, friendly staff goes a very long way; its always pleasant doing business with them.
I had a great experience here. I had a hard drive that I needed to be recovered. Unfortunately it was to far gone. Had to ship it off but, it was free. They also gave me the info of where to send it.
Amazing! I was mentally preparing myself thinking I was going to need to buy a new operating system or a whole new computer. Data Drive fixed my machine in less than 24 hours and at the best repair price I have ever seen. Friendly, attentive, fast, and reasonable - dont go anywhere else.
They took time to help me out thank u
Smart computer guys who are also professional and polite. Datadrive has been supporting our office for years so I took my computer there after it picked up a virus. They cleaned it up and made it faster than its been in years for $65. Im very happy with Datadrive
I used Data drive on several occasions to repair my laptop. The do a great job and dont over charge for their service. I highly recommend them. Matter fact I will take in my Laptop this week to have them replace the keyboard.
Free parking. Very experienced repair people. In store and on home repairs. Charge was better than expected. Thanks!
Have you ever gone somewhere and had a great experience, but felt bad because you knew you wouldnt be a repeat customer? Thats how I feel about this place, and why Im writing a review. From the first phone call with Matt to picking up my computer, I knew that the people I was talking to knew their business. Even though my problem was minor, and did not generate a ton of money for them, they took their time to explain everything. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a local computer shop. I felt their prices were more than reasonable and their service was certainly above what Im used to. Thanks Matt! Thanks guys!
Excellent job with the repair. They lost my charger and claimed I never brought it in the first place... Never going back. 70% satisfaction guaranteed.
I went to SWS and then to a friend who works for an IT department, both told me disc was damaged and couldt get data from it. They recommended to send the drive to an specialized company. One of those companies quoted $159/hour and told it might take between 2-12 hours) I read a review from another person that did almost the same as I and got his data recovered from Datadrive, so I decided to give a try. So glad I did!! They retrieved all the data from the HD for $75. Great service and got data back in 3 business days. Highly recommend.
Iโm highly recommend this place to all the gaming players. Less charge and more care of customer. ๅพๆ้ๆๅฅฝ็็ปดไฟฎๅบ๏ผ๏ผ๏ผ
I took my moms laptop, a Dell Vostro 1520, which died suddenly. I Googled the issue and the consensus seemed to be bad motherboard. Since I dont have the skills to make this determination I took a chance and went to Datadrive for their expertise after reading their statement that In most cases your computer repair can be done in 24 hours. I took the laptop in on a Thursday afternoon around 4pm and they had diagnosed the problem to be the motherboard and called Monday morning. I would say that qualifies for quick service and while the cost to repair was not worth it, I paid for the diagnostic $32.50 and will definitely come back and recommend them to others. Hint: They are the building to the south of Fantasy Comics on First Ave, took me forever to figure that one out.
I have been doing business with these guys for 15 years. They not only fix my systems same day but usually within just a couple hours! Very friendly group of guys.
My hard drive was fried, took it to Best Buy who said it was not easily fixable and needed to be sent out for data recovery, which could cost up to $1500. Second opinion at SWS Computers agreed. I decided to bring it here for one last shot before sending it to a recovery company. They were able to recover all the data and actually got the hard drive working again for only $65 the same day. Cant tell you how thankful I am! Awesome customer service too. Its free if they cant recover the data so theres no harm in checking here first, Im glad I did!
Top Rate Service.. No Surprises.. Im a Happy Customer..
These guys are smart and very helpful. Support your local businesses๐
Worst experience I could possibly have, they did not fix my computer, they made it worse. I had to wait 30 minutes to actually get my computer when I came to pick it up. Do NOT go here
These guys are the best and I recommend them for both individuals and businesses.
Got a server from them recently, and its fast with no issues at all.I speced out a server from Dell and it was nearly twice as much for the same hardware.
Ive been meaning to get on here and tell you thank you for the data recovery you just did on my external hard drive. The last shop said there was nothing I could do to get that data back, but you guys did it!
Dont waste your time, money or energy getting anything fixed here. Too many things no longer work after I received my stuff back.
Excellent service. Very reasonable price.
My world (almost) came tumbling down on that fateful late Sunday night of April the 15th. That night, I, a scientist by occupation and certainly computer-savvy, managed to lose the main hard drive on my laptop, an week old hard drive image, AND a back up hard drive, all in one sitting. Let me explain. In a biggest twist of irony, this all started because I felt that I had been lazy with backing up data so thought I did it.1) Loss of a week old hard drive image: This was a 2T external drive that was running out space. To make space for a newer image, I decided to delete the old one image I had. When I then proceeded to to image. But this was so slow so I stopped before finishing.2) I proceeded to image my main hard drive to the laptop hard drive connected externally and as a preparatory step, used Acronis DiskDoctor to format the drive, prior to using Acronis backup software.3) when the formating of my backup hard drive finished, the laptop attempted to reboot. However, it just froze while shutting down so I forced the shutting by pressing and holding the power button.4) When I turned the laptop back on, it would not boot up but went straight into the blue recovery screen. I tried every option to no avail. At this point, panic set in. My hands started to tremble and cold sweat trickled down my spine. This looked really bad, not only because I seemed to have lost the boot partition but also I just deleted all the backups I had. From this point on, I was in a survival mode, not sleeping, and barely eating trying everything to get my data back. At this point, I indeed lost all. I was so crushed, devastated. This was a calamity in a monumental scale. Only thing I could say to comfort myself was that I was alive and healthy. I still had family and friends who loved me.I took my damaged hard drives to U of A IT support (employee privilege). They could not help. I since felt that they fall short in professionalism and skills, as well. I pulled the plug on them seemingly trying to help after losing patience with their bungling around on Monday afternoon. I came to DataDrive and there I met Matthew. He had a sympathetic eyes and stoic words reminding me there are indeed much worse thing that happens. This was strangely comforting, actually. He tried every methods in his arsenal many of which actually didnt work. For the next a few days, the despair turned to mourning for the loss of the data that I called my life and then to sense of resignation, ready to accept that its gone. I felt like a part of me died.If data can be pulled, I knew that folder structure and file names are usually lost. I had millions of files; going through them individually to reconstruct them in the way they would be useful would be a lost cause. But I waited. Then Thursday, I received the news that ALL data in its original folder structure with filenames intact was recovered. I was back from the brink. I felt indeed resurrected. This was a miracle, for me. Yes, I got all the data back. In the original form before I lost it.I really dont know what Matthew had to do to reconstruct the data. This didnt seem like just pulling the data off the drive. Mind you, U of A IT support couldnt even do that. For four days of this successful heroic effort, I paid DataDrive $65 and got data on a separate drive (that I provided). $65!!!! This is an ORDER of MAGNITUDE less than what is normally charged for this kind of data recovery and failing do so, I wouldnt have gotten charged.I owe a massive debt of gratitude to Matthew and DataDrive. They might say they were doing their job but in doing so, made a massive difference to my life. When I think back to what happened that night, I still feel that massive ping of pain seeing that blue recovery screen. Almost like PTSD. And I cant say how relieved and happy I feel now.So thank you Data Drive. I have been feeling obliged that I should do more than just pay money and say thank you. I want the world to know that doing their job really made the difference for me
These guys are the bomb dont go see anybody else
Very good costumer service!!
Very honest and fair technicians at this shop.
They are great!
