Yes! The installers were great - we had front and back sliders, both double doors which necessitated the installers Rusty and the quiet guy to completely remove the super-structure which supported the outer doors. This was a complicated task, but they finished it within the day, left the place immaculate, and did a quick and efficient job. They were also very pleasant, and kept me informed of things during the course of the installation, and didnt mind avoiding face-level swipes from my cat. All in a days work.Were likely to replace another slider, and possibly some other windows, and will happily contract with these guys again.

Ive used Emerald City Energy twice now to replace 50+ year old windows, and both time the crew has done an amazingly great job - on time, took great care to keep the areas clean, worked efficiently and effectively, and made sure I was totally satisfied with how everything looked and worked before they left. Emerald City was friendly and responsive. We have 11 windows replaced. They took ownership for an error made in measurement that saved us serious $! The windows took a long time to arrive and I had to check a few times but they were always responsive when I checked status. They wore masks inside and were on time and cleaned up each day. I have already referred them to others and think they are a solid choice for your windows.

Jose and his crew were very efficient and knew what they were doing with the entire window install. They even finished early! Jose explained the steps and answered any questions that we had, making us feel confident and comfortable that the install process would go smoothly, and it did! They cleaned up after themselves, followed social distancing and mask wearing protocol, and were polite. Very impressed with the team!

We got a total of 3 quotes for replacing all the windows in our house, and not only were they the cheapest, but they also had HANDS DOWN the least annoying & pushy salesman of the 3. The timeline that the sales rep gave us was spot on for when we actually got our windows installed, and the small crew that came were fast, professional, & we found no issues on the final walk through. The men that installed the windows were awesome. They worked well together, never said anything bad, about the company, other people at the company. They were positive and professional. I would give them a 5 on a scale of 1 to 5. I wish I had enough money to do all my windows. I love being able to see out my windows. Even my granddaughter mentions how nice it is even a week after the new windows are in. She is 9 and lives with me. Thank you for a great job.

We got our windows through McClendons 5 window deal. We had them installed through the contractors that work for McClendons. Martin was great. He is very professional, does a great job explaining what we needed to know and we are very happy with our new windows.

I had 2 technicians came into my house to install several windows this morning. They were a great team. I want to mention that they were two different races and had significant age differences. Still, they respect each other and worked so well together. It was great to see. I felt comfortable for them to work inside of my house because they earn my trust almost right away. One suggestion-have you thought about using a cloth, 100% cotton rag instead of disposable paper towel to clean the window? It cleans better than a paper towel. Also, it is environmentally friendly and saves money in the long run. Thats all. Thanks again.

We had the 5 windows for $2K deal. Martin came out with a helper and installed the windows. I was told to expect them from 8 AM to 4 PM. They were 15 mins early and were done by 1:30 in the afternoon. They didn’t rush, but I was pleased by how quick the installation went. Martin was very knowledgeable and professional. Both men were very respectful of our house since there was a lot of going in and out over the few hours they were there. They were also polite and tried hard to calm our cats who were frightened by all the noise. When they were done, they cleaned up the mess and went over all my questions about operating the windows. I was very satisfied and would do business with Emerald City again!

I have an older 3 bdrm home with original windows that needed to be updated to code.The man that helped me is named Mark. He knew what he was doing and he did it well. I have to say I know next to nothing about any kind of construction. Mark was great!They said they could do all 5 windows (one is a sliding glass door) and the did! Installed and clean-up and I am so happy!

Initial Contact:I contacted this business due to the “Five windows for $2000.00” offer I had found online. When I called to schedule the estimate the individual I spoke with was supremely knowledgeable and took the time to discuss the many features of a window install. He was upfront with the fact that I could do (5) windows for $2k, but that the additional windows for my project would cost more, and that their current promotions might give me a better overall product and pricing which is how I went.As I had been doing extensive research through many different companies up until this point, the individual was able to help fill my gaps in knowledge. I felt listened to and treated as a valued customer.Estimate:Randy Kendrick called me to discuss my job was amazing. When he came to my place he was detail oriented and also very kind. I was able to share my previous experiences with window quotes and he showed the differences between the products and install methods. One major thing I learned was that there two install methods. One being the block frame which was less expensive and more of a quick slap it in approach. Then there is the nail flange install which to me feels like a remodel; all the old windows are removed and everything down to the studs. Then they waterproof the opening, reinstall the windows, and placing new interior/exterior trim. This also provides a lifetime warranty for the installation process.Randy provided a quote based on either install method and I chose the more expensive nail flange install as my home was built in 1953 and I wanted the peace of mind of knowing that all my openings in the house have a clean bill of health for waterproofing and heat insulation in the northwest.As I am a hands on type of person, I wanted to see the product in person. Even though their showroom was under construction, Randy made time to meet me after hours at the local showroom in Bothell and let me demo the Milgard Trinsic and Milgard Tuscany windowsI researched the window manufacturer (Milgard Tuscany) I found they have an amazing reputation, and any issues customers had were almost immediately remedied which included customers with windows over 20 years old. I also researched ECE/IMG/McLendon and learned they also had an amazing reputation and have been in business for over 20 years.Overall I had 5 estimates from many different companies for my 12 windows and they ranged between $10k (block frame with less reputable windows) up to $35K (Anderson Windows); Champion came in at $25k and was using the less expensive block frame method.Ultimately due to the install method I desired, the reputation of both Milgard and ECE/IMG/Mclendon, I chose them for my project which totaled at $18k. This included both inside/out trim and window casing replacement (my old trim was from 1953), a rain drop obscured double hung window, another double hung window, and the extra solar blocking on (4) windows that face the sun all day.Install:My install was handled by Trace and his team and was scheduled for (3) days for my 12 windows. I remotely opened my door from work for them to begin and when I arrived I found my house in neat condition despite them being in the middle of the project. I was on site for day 2 of the install and they worked around me and my children as we were doing remote work and school.On day 3 of the install they expressed concern of needing additional days to do the project due to the complexity of my window openings. Some of the openings were being changed in sizes. About an hour into that day 2-4 additional installers arrived and they were able to wrap up the project on time this last day. This was HUGE because we were living with all our furniture out of place due to needing to give 3 feet clearance for each window.This was a major financial investment I made into my house, and cannot be happier with how it came out. My 1953 home looks SO MUCH BETTER! Thank you to Randy, Trace and the entire ECE/IMG/Mclendon!

Very happy with the Milgard Trinsic windows we had retro-fitted into our home. Emerald City was great to work with: Eric (in sales) was responsive, and I never felt pressured. He took the time I needed to get comfortable and answered all my questions... which was important, as I retro-fitted my entire home: 28 windows -- NOT a cheap job. I got 3 detailed quotes from 3 different and reputable companies, and Emerald was the most competitive, offered a great warranty, and had solid online reviews. Its important to note that the windows themselves are only half of the equation: the installation is equally as important. Trevor (and Oliver) were great installers. I opted for both nail-flange AND pocket install methods, based on my home. I had a complicated (and large) garden window in our kitchen that Trevor did some customization to get it installed. Also, his finish work and caulking were top-notch and looked great. Trevor was patient with my questions, showed up everyday on time (5 day job), and cleaned the site each afternoon. Great crew, good company... very happy.

Emerald City Energy was professional, timely, and had great communication. Our 90 year old home in West Seattle had a dozen windows ranging from wood framed single pane to aluminum with broken seals. All were replaced and each person I dealt with was fantastic: estimator, office staff, site foreman. The installation crew did a careful job, walking me through my questions and explaining the process. They even sent out a service specialist the day after the installation when we had trouble getting a few of the windows to close. Great service, excellent price, highly recommended.

I love a vendor that does exactly what they say they will do, when they will do it and for exactly the (reasonable) price they quote. Not only this, but InterMountain Glass was super exacting in their window measurements and the guy who came out to do the replacement took great pride in his craft. Even cleaned the replaced windows, inside and out, before he left. No more leaky windows!

I had three windows replaced (frame and everything) for my home recently and long story short, Im going to have Emerald City back to replace the rest of my windows. The installers were extremely professional, knowledgeable and took pride in their work. No shortcuts taken, the completed work was very thorough. The installers even wore booties inside my home to keep from tracking dirt. Customer service is excellent as well. Again, very professional... youll never have a hard time getting a hold of someone or getting your questions answered.

We had a fairly big job with lots of windows, including a great room with vaulted ceilings and a huge wall of windows. We were originally worried when only two workers showed up for the installation, but they worked hard and got the job done fast.I also appreciated the great communication from their salesperson. We met him at the Seattle Home Show and since we live quite a ways from town, we asked if he would be willing to do an initial quote via email. I like that he was flexible with this arrangement, which saved me time when trying to organize multiple bids for the project. He was upfront about the pieces they wouldnt be able to do and helped us clarify exactly what we wanted without spending half the day trying to sell us with the typical line that all the installers give about how much better their product is (Ive sat through a few of those and they really annoy me).This summer was _much_ cooler in our house with the improved energy efficiency on the windows. Looking forward to seeing the impact to our winter heating bill.

I ordered two sets of windows to be installed. The installers missed my first appointment and I had to go through the hassle of setting up a second appointment. When they finally came and attempted installation the guy named Mike had ordered the incorrect sizes.
