We have always had great service and quality up until our recent purchase of two overhauled magnetos for a customer aircraft. One of the magnetos had a noticeable bind which forced us to send it back for warranty-repair. This delayed the completion of a customer aircraft plus additional shipping cost to ship this magneto back and forth, priority. Quality is essential each and every time to prevent these back and forth time wasters.

Your site was relatively easy to navigate, however it would not allow me to redirect my email or attach a photo. For marketing purposes it is very efficient. Communication with other departments is restricted.

While the quality of repair or overhaul is yet to be seen, Im extremely pleased with great communication! Justin responded promptly to initial email inquiry and has followed up both by phone and by email, exactly as and when promised. My C85 accessory case is flying via FedEx to Tulsa right now and, based on very positive experience to date, Im confident of a quality overhaul/repair & continued excellent service. (As an update, QAA was unable to repair my case but returned it with minimal cost while assisting me with finding a replacement. Good company!)

Placed an order for a very common magneto on Monday afternoon provided all requested information online. If this was Aircraft Spruce I would have had the part on Tuesday. Got a very strange marketing type call from them on Tuesday, asking me to confirm all the same information Id already provided. They did ask for my tail number, which I provided. Nothing got shipped on Tuesday. Now its Wednesday, and Ive called them to check on my order. They confirm it hasnt been shipped but dont know why. Im obviously agitated and Tony promises to get it out tonight .... that makes me more frustrated and ultimately he says it will be overnighted on them but is still extremely vague. In this day an age this not acceptable.Updated: Well I ended up talking with Justin Phillips in QAAs customer service department and he was EXCELLENT. He heard me out on my complaint, and I heard him out on their process. I think we both got something out of that discussion. The part came as promised and then the tables turned on me ... and because of me. I inadvertently ordered a non-pressurized magneto. I should have caught the numbering on the old mag myself but I didnt. My mechanic told me late Friday night in my hanger that I had the wrong one. Back on the phone with QAA Monday morning, Justin jumps in a comes to my rescue. They have pressurized mag cores in stock but nothing ready to ship out. QAA heard my plea and immediately got a core in que for rebuild and out that night. I greatly appreciate them going above and beyond for me, but even more I appreciate Justin taking the time to hear out my initial complaint.

Sent in my fuel servo and flow divider for an overhaul. After 2 weeks and no communication, I called them. Well, they say, your flow divider is corroded and cant be overhauled and were waiting on instructions from you. Good thing I called, no telling how long it would have sat. I authorized a new divider and gave them a credit card number. Itll ship next week on Wednesday they say. On Friday, I called to check on it since I didnt get an email with tracking info. Well, its hung up somewhere and didnt get shipped. They dont know why.Again, good thing I called, or it would have just sat there. I demanded they pay for expedited shipping which they agreed to. Havent seen the bill yet to confirm that happened.I experienced non-existent communication with the customer (me). They had my email and phone number from day 1 and I have done all the calling, not them. As a result, my servo is 2 weeks later than scheduled. Wont use them again.update: I will get them credit for returning my servo by overnight delivery at their cost. Its on and working fine.

I sent my turbo to QAA to get checked out for warranty work which should have taken a few weeks ... But ended up taking several months. This was unacceptable, so I emailed the QAA about my concerns. I immediately got a call from Brett Benton the President of QAA. He did not try and make excuses, and took full blame for the delay. There was a Covid-19 outbreak in the warehouse about the same time my turbo arrived there ... so I understand how this could have happened. President Benton took care of all charges related to my turbo and I am confident the problems I had, have been addressed to all QAA employees. I will definitely use QAA again ... mistakes are made ... even at the finest companies.

Called yesterday around 4:45pm to order a new alternator. Victor answered the phone as helped me find the correct one even though a portion of the part number was unreadable. He then made sure it shipped out that very day so I would have it the next day. Very professional, very knowledgeable, and very helpful. Give this guy a raise. Will be back because of him.

They havent done any work for me yet, but Im already impressed so far with customer support. Talked to Justin and Dio (maybe), but there tech was out. They asked all the right questions and will have the tech call back to help me sort out my prop governor issues. Will report back after the work is done.

We shipped several components to QAA, marked as urgent/AOG and unfortunately the customer experience has not been pleasant. QAA had numerous troubles with processing payment, but did not notify us about this. Told us items had shipped when they had not, blaming it on COVID/Fedex. Is confused about what parts are in their possession. Has been unable to provide shipping confirmation. Was supposed to test a unit and call back, instead, they overhauled it.A week has passed now since the work was completed and we are still waiting for shipping confirmation and having to call back every day to get updates. After many requests on the detail of how work was done, still have received nothing, just an invoice.Hate to leave negative reviews, but the process has been horrible, and our aircraft is still AOG today and still waiting on basic information about shipping. Have called QAA at least 10 times in the past week to get things moving. Hoping this is just an issue with quality of customer service, not quality of work.

I sent them an A 65 accessory case to fix the oil pump bore, low oil pressure. They told me they could fix it for $ 595.00 within 2 weeks. It took 2 month and when I finally received the part the repair was bad, the oil pump gears locked up. When I complained I was told to return the part for inspection, which I did. They measured it and told me nothing wrong! I insisted and sent them the gears, they installed the gears and confirmed that it was a bad repair. They sent me back the BAD case and I still have not gotten a refund. This has been going for 4 month now. I am worse off than before, have a destroyed part and am out the money. They promised refund, didnt get it yet.Update- received phone call from company president with an apology and a promise to refund quickly, I will update again once refund receivedUpdate- received credit for the repair, waiting for refund of the shipping cost

Will look for another alternative next time I need any mag work done. Day after day of promising mag delivery came and went without any sign of them. Alternative plans had to be made for a flight that had been planned for months because of the excessive time taken to service. Not only that but after only a few hours of service the left mag test drop is approaching excessive and has to be taken back to A&P to be rechecked. Don know how much more time or money it will take before normal service is restored.

I have not experienced such a poor excuse for customer service ever. I took my magneto to your shop because it needed an impulse coupling and I was told you could not sell me a coupling but you could overhaul my mag for $625 about $160 more than an impulse coupling would cost. I left the mag for overhaul and then received a quote for $935 to overhaul this mag because it needed an impulse coupling. The overhaul exchange price for this mag was $725. At this point I wanted to purchase an overhaul exchange but was told there were none in stock. I then decided to pick up my mag and try to find another alternative. When I picked up the mag I had to pay a $110 invoice for tear down and inspection. So basically you charged me $110 to tell me what I already knew and now I have to reassemble the mag for a core. If I could give you negative stars I would.

Until recently we owned and operated a charter airline based on the island of Utila in The Bay Islands of Honduras. We learned to use Quality Aircraft Accessories for their ability to respond promptly and deliver quality products and service on time. That was extremely important to us operating in Latin America.

Been doing business with QAA for over 12 years. Last couple of years we have seen a big increase in core charge backs. I have spoken to other shops who have seen the same increase. I no longer trust QAA. The last two items we sent in had bad cores. While disputing these bad cores we have withheld payment until the dispute could be settled. QAA decided that since they had our debit card info from a previous transaction (we usually pay our Net 30 by check), they would just charge our debit card WITHOUT our permission. Regardless if we have open invoice this is still fraud. Other shops beware. Probably a good idea to go elsewhere. Many places charge less with good quality work.
