Cool little place with some very unique items!!! They have a make your own succulent and cactuses. They also have old slide frame pictures that are really cool... I believe that they have small little business for design within the store as well. This place is worth a look if youre looking for vintage things
I love Retro Den for many reasons! There are many talented people with their own areas of expertise that anyone can learn from via workshops! If youre looking for something unique or one-of-a-kind, Retro Den is the spot to shop! I am currently taking a beginners quilting class with Mary of Mary Make and Do and it has been absolutely wonderful!
I saw all the plants in the window as I was driving by and did a quick u-turn to check this place out. Super cute and friendly! They have plants, crystals, retro furniture, antiques, and craft spaces in the back. They were having a calligraphy class while I was there. Highly recommend checking this place out.
Wow, a great place to find all the things you weren’t looking for! It’s hit and miss for sure, but when you hit, you score big, and it’ll be the piece that you treasure for years to come. I haven’t actually purchased any furniture from here, and I’m still this enthusiastic about it. Perfect place to swing by again and again and again!
This is easily my favorite shop to pop in to. Not only does this place offer beautiful unique pieces but the two owners are the sweetest women. I’ve never had a negative experience and will continue supporting and encouraging others to go in to check it out. Also aside from amazing vintage finds they have the best succulent deals in town.
Such a great selection of home furnishings, plants, gifts, and helpful advice. Love that I always get a smile and a friendly hello from the lovely ladies who own the shop. I never feel pressured to make a purchase when I am in the shop (but I almost always do buy something!) and they do a great job of having a range of prices on all of their items.
Hands down, one of my favorite places to shop! Not only is the vintage and new furniture well curated, the Ashley’s who run Retro Den are so nice, helpful, and personable! I always go in feeling welcome and customer service is 10/10. It really makes me not want to shop at other places because I know how awesome an experience Retro Den is.
Best succulents in town! I just recently bought succulents, drift wood and other home decor for 1/2 the price of West Elm. I am so happy I stumbled into this adorable store. They have everything from antiques, prints, home decor and everything else you would want to put in your home. The staff is super friendly and helpful.
I love Retro Den! Not only is the shop cheerful and welcoming, but the treasures are fabulous and well-priced. And while I love midcentury modern furniture at good prices, the best parts of the shop are the friendly, knowledgeable owners. They great you warmly and are eager to talk about new finds and future hunts. Retro Den is my go-to place for home inspiration and information. Piece by piece, theyre helping me develop my dream home.
Such a great collection of one of a kind pieces for your home, old and new. There is also a nice selection of succulents and lovely pots in which to plant them. Love the ladies that own this shop!
They definitely have some unique pieces of mid century modern furniture and accessories. Ive seen some items in such good condition, I wonder where they find them. This probably accounts for their prices which seemed a little high for the Tulsa market.
I was really excited to visit RetroDen. After following them on IG and a friend recommending me to go I made my way there this morning. When I walked in I was greeted warmly by I guess Ashley & Ashley (just recognized them from IG). I spent a lot of time browsing the plants and succulents when I walked in. One of the Ashleys asked the normal, have you been in before, in which I responded, no, and I told her what had actually brought me in (IG & friend rec), but that was it.I saw this as a point where shed at least offer more info about how things operate or anything about the store, or seeing my interest in the plants, how to assembe my own potted plant. Nope, nothing. At this time of the day, there were about 4-5 adults and a toddler congregated right by the entry. I assume they were friends/employees. It just felt like they were more concerned with hanging out with friends.I absolutely love home decor and walked around the entire store looking for something that really stood out for me today. I did love the styles I saw, just nothing today.Overall, the shopping experience seemed very cliquey and not necessarily over and beyond welcoming, Id say.I did buy 2 succulents which Id been eyeballing in general, and couldnt beat the price anywhere else. At checkout, I mentioned how I had killed a string of pearls the year before and wanted to try again. It seemed like a great segue for the cashier to offer tips, instead, I got a card to visit a website to find tips. I get the idea behind it. Covert more online hits, etc., it was just a little more off-putting because I felt like I was throwing a bone to converse and got defaulted to their website to read plant tips which I could find anywhere online.I hope to be back and maybe have a better more inviting experience.
Retro Den is truly one of my most favorite places to go in Tulsa. It’s not just because they have such a wonderful and thoughtfully-chosen selection of furniture, home decor, and plants that fill every corner of my home (from the tiniest air plants to my literal steal of a dining table that I still can’t understand how well priced it was), but it’s greatly because the Ashley’s have created a place that feels like home to so many people. It’s evident that Palmer and Daly are very intentional about bringing people together, because you can feel it every time you walk through their door and straight into what can best be described as a bear hug- full of warm, cuddly, and cozy feelings. Retro Den and the Ashley’s are such a valuable part of our community- bringing us joy, warmth, and things that make our lives more beautiful.
Great selection of succulents. They also have some air plants. Good prices too.
The Retro Den is a real Tulsa treasure. The space is so beautifully curated that I find myself stopping by to visit as much for the artistic inspiration as the one-of-a-kind pieces they carry. What I love most about the shop is the sense of whimsy, humor, and storytelling infused throughout the pieces. They add levity and interest without crossing the line into kitschy. Ive styled much of my home with the Retro Dens help, and I have to say--the owners (the Ashleys) are just delightful. TOTALLY worth a visit (or two or three...)
Cool and eclectic! Mid-century modern meets industrial in a place that has a great vibe. Fantastic selection and a great, upbeat atmosphere. Love it!
The furniture quality is great! It just seems a bit overpriced for 50s and 60s furniture. I do however love the succulent and air plants!
Love this place! They sell air plants (tillandsia), which are mostly what I buy. Nice people.
Very nice store. A little pricey for my budget but the staff was knowledgeable and helpful.
Owners are friendly and helpful, and there is always an interesting variety of locally made and vintage goods.
Although Retro Den does have some very cool and interesting pieces the prices were OUTRAGEOUS. $900.00 for a thrift store couch? $150 for a dirty thrift store chair? I completely understand that true vintage comes at a premium these days but these prices were nonsense. $1000.00+ for a midcentury hospital lamp, are you joking? There was nothing in this store that couldnt be found at estate sales, garage sales, or thrift stores for a fraction of the price. I really wanted to like this place but the mark up was just insane.
Very welcoming fun store lots of different things to buy and ogle at.
Great mix of vintage and new...love the plant bar!
Wonderful vintage inventory friendly and knowledgeable staff truly worth the visit both as a shopping adventure and a Learning Adventure
Awesome local shop that really tries hard to only sell products they stand behind
Fun place to visit. Very eclectic!
Great selection of antiques, home decor, gifts, local Oklahoma made products.
Awesome are the Women who own and operate this gallery. Upperend modernist knick knacks and furniture a true Gem of Tulsa. A truely fun place to shop and visit. A word to the savvy buyer...investment grade items go in and out of this gallery at incredible prices. The girls are well adept at evaluating mid century modern. Their upholsterer is icredible and someone you want in your circle. A truely awesome place. You will discover this within the 1st 10 seconds...and they raise a family go girls go
Very cool place lots of interesting pieces and decor
Amazing customer service!!The 20% OFF Sale made the visit even sweeter !
