Great place love the ginseng. Will definitely be back.
Large space with a large selection of items. The building is old and run down, needs lots of maintenance attention. The people are nice and service was quick. Seem to have a lot of empty areas in the store throughout though which makes me wonder Id they are having a hard time getting things from overseas or just too much space for the amount of stuff they carry.
My wife likes stopping here whenever we are in Tulsa. They have a good selection but the store is not very clean. Good enough for what it is.
Organized and well stocked. Friendly staff. Love this market!
Reasonably priced. Really interesting selection of things you wont find in other markets. Bought some new things to try for under $20!
Very nice clean place, you will need to have a mask. Every thing under the sun. Wonderful fresh fruit and vegetables.
Great selection of Asian foods. Nice selection of produce and mushrooms. They have a pretty good selection of fish used in Asian cuisine.
I come from California where asian markets in our area were smaller. I love the size of this place. Staff was friendly and the place was clean but we did notice that it must have been close to restocking time because the aisle were filled with product in boxes that still needed to get put out. I will be back again.
More often were inclined to write reviews when weve had a bad experience and forget to give compliments when its due. Every time we visit Tulsa, we stop by this store to shop and grab some food from the deli and its always been a very pleasant experience. The employees are always very friendly and helpful compared to other Asian markets you visit that wont even take a moment to look up and say hello or welcome. I will continue to visit this store when back in town.
Such an interesting place and the employees are so nice! Cant wait to go back 😄
Fantastic small super market in East Tulsa!! I first visited with my husband who is Hmong after driving past it MANY times growing up in BA. I cannot believe it took me so long to go inside!! They have EVERYTHING. It is truly amazing to see the selections and fresh produce they have every time Ive visited. If youre around Tulsa, definitely check out Asian Mart.
Whenever my wife needs to find a specific item or ingredient that she needs for her dish. This is the place where we find it. Sometimes the stock maybe short but the workers here are friendly. The meat section & the produce section are some of the best in town.
Always have to support my Hmong people. Super friendly and although it gets busy sometimes at the register, they still manage to get you out quickly.
The place is nice and clean, and the people are super nice. The deli seemed a bit off the last time, though. I love the selection of fresh, packaged, and frozen goods, which are nice and fresh. I always get a bunch of frozen potstickers, wontons, and other dumplings when Im here, as theyre easy to microwave to steamed perfection, and healthier than most American foods. The prices here are amazing, too. The produce is awesome, and way cheaper than the usual American grocery store.
Great vegetables and they have wai wai noodles
1st time in my life to pay $6 for canola oil. Very friendly customer service and a sweet cashier seemed to know all her customers. Line was not long but I will say her through knowledge of her job and the quick was of her skills will keep many people coming back.
The only thing that bothers me is the lack of help for items. Lady told me they were out of dry mushrooms and on my way out the door I passed a whole isle of them. I learned what the store had to offer by going down every isle myself. Even found myself helping others who couldnt get answers while waiting in the check out line. Wish they were more diverse in assistance.
They have an awesome little deli in the front of the store that you have to check out. I like their produce section and always get a new snack to try.
Store is very empty and overpriced on products compare to the other Asian store in town. Bad customer service. Went to the deli to buy hot food. Lady maybe owner, Hmong lady who can speak English serve white male customer with friendly voice and good customer skill but didn’t acknowledge me standing there. After serving white male she walk to the back and never came out to help me. I ring bell and didn’t come out. I waited until she come out. She then tell me to wait while she continue to look for paper then answer phone and told them to wait. She continue to find label. By that time I had enough of waiting because she should have help assist me vs doing what she doing “looking for label”. So I walk away. Lost a customer and will never have a return customer.
The selection is overwhelming! I love the fresh meat market. They opened a bag of ox tail because I only wanted a certain amount and they let me choose the specific ones I wanted.
Great produce section, super fresh.1st visit, not too impressed since most isles were empty.
U can get Asian needs theres. They great spices also.
Friendly and helpfull employees.
Need to improve their distributors. Shelves really need to be restocked and improved upon.
Nice clean store. Friendly people
The prices were very good and I was so happy to find some things here I couldnt at a couple other Asian markets I went that night. The workers were very nice as well and the store was very clean and it was easy to find things. Ill definitely make a stop by next time Im in town.
Didnt have what I was looking for. Asked an associate he couldnt seem to find it as well.
It was a new experience for me but I would go back
I love going to this place. They have such a variety of all types of Asian foods and dont get me started about the food they cook in store, those sausages hit different
Its a medium sized asian food market, not as big as some, but larger than several around town. They had a nice selection and the shelves were kept tidier than some places I have been into.
I visit Asian Mart every time I pass through Tulsa. They have a very good selection (some things are a little thinner now due to COVID international shipping constraints but still pretty good). They stock a lot of variety. They have a great selection of fresh asian vegetables and a nice meat counter. Big selection of frozen fish. And several freezers of prepared foods, etc. Its clean and it smells clean. The staff is always friendly.
I bought a few things there not much nice clean store
Very friendly staff and tons of produce/options. They have tons of variety of different foods, spices, meets, fish, etc.
Great food and great service employees were very nice and helpful.💖💖💖💖
The little cafe shop has a small variety of ready to eat food,; yet the food is really good, specially the fried tilapia and the wings. They have changed the store a bit over the years but you still can find good oriental food, clothes, kitchen utensils and woks.
Its a great Store
Not organized, prices not marked clearly and lots of boxes in aisles for no reason.
They dont have pork blood for quite sometime now...
Has everything Im looking for and clean
I rather come here for my asian needs then nam hai. The owner is horrible at nam hai. Asian mart is alot nicer.
The store itself is satisfactory, but not to be compared to the likes of Sprouts or other recognized grocery names. The meat department appears to be completely able to communicate, even if you show them on a cell phone what you are looking to purchase. The management does not appear to be motivated to improve. I’ve shopped here at least 15 times, but my frustration with the meat department made this my final trip there.
First time going. Obviously was lost but staff willing to help to show you what is what and how to cook it
Awesome asian grocery store! If you need that special ingredient for a recipe this is the place to get it. 47 varieties of soy sauce! Korean barbecue sauce! All those crazy dried ingredients you need to take your ramen game to the next level. They have every flavor of instant ramen you never knew you wanted yo try. Definitely worth a trip.
Not always fresh. I got oysters and crawfish, a third of them where dead.
Always so clean and organized and the prices are very nice. I love their fresh seafood!
Great Asian store in the city
Love this store, it is clean and prices are way lower than in Walmart
Nice friendly store
Hmong Asian market with fresh products, decent prices. Its an in&out little market type. Clean and friendly staff.
I normally go to Nam Hai for asian ingredients I need. This time, Nam Hai didnt have it, but Asian Mart did! Great selection, good hot food section, I will be coming back to explore more!
Good selection of food good service
I enjoy supporting local and small businesses, especially for a Hmong store! They usually have everything I need but sometimes its a hit and miss (more hits than miss) I especially enjoy the deli!! The girls are always nice and seem to work efficiently. The menu does change periodically so never expect the same thing here everyday. The same goes with some products and produce, but I always enjoy knowing that it is fresh and locally grown!
Friendly staff and food selections you cant get anywhere else that Ive seen in Tulsa.
They have a lot stuff
1) Store is super clean and brightly lit.2) All items are neatly organized and shelved. I didnt see boxes in the aisles that you have to navigate your way around. Aisles are clearly labeled so getting ready-to-eat Satay Peanut Sauce was painless.3) Refrigerated items are clean and looked fresh.4) Staff are extremely cordial and helpful. I called before I came in and even though they didnt carry the item that I wanted they tried hard by asking me to elaborate further. When I asked about an item in the store, help came in less than 5 minutes. They really wanted to take care of you.5) The kitchen was clean and the fried tilapia was delicious.I kinda miss this kind of service which you can only get from mom and pop store. Will visit again.
This store is owned by a local Hmong church family and everyone there is so friendly. Growing up in Tulsa, I knew a lot of those people and its always so refreshing to see their faces when I come back to visit. They have a lot of selections on oriental items such as noodles, candy, snacks, sauces, frozen food, fresh veggies, meat cuts and everything you can think of. If youre looking for a quick lunch, they also have a deli to serve you food or drinks. Its always delicious and always a delight to go to Asian Mart. They have great selections at a great price. I enjoy every visit!
Great customer service!
Nice, spacious place with a pretty big variety of Asian foods
You can find things here that the big grocery stores dont carry. A lot of interesting items and good quality produce. Nice little place.
Very organized, clean, and has hot cook food. Friendly customer service.
Never shopped here and probably wont ever shop here
Love this place. Employees are always willing to answer your questions. Plenty to choose from, but not so much that its overwhelming.
Great selection, as always. Delicious, ready to eat fresh made food and cookware.
I just made my first trip there on the way home tonight. I needed fresh bitter melon, Japanese eggplant, filipino lumpia wrappers, fish sauce, and a couple fresh steamed meat/rice buns. They had exactly what I needed, and the cashier man spoke English and was able to help me find what I was looking for. The place was clean and well stocked. They didnt just throw a bunch of product on the shelves. They are neatly placed and pricing labels are on the shelf. It is not a huge place, so the selection is smaller than the giant oriental market, but this store is cleaner. I will be coming back when I have more time to shop.
Good hmong food.
Walked in today to grab some food at 7:00 PM And I understand that some employees have had a long day but this isn’t the first encounter. When asking for food to be packed or if I’m just being asked if I need help by the cashier at the deli It often tends to be very rude as if she’s very annoyed of customers. I often do support the store but I would just prefer the deli cashier to be less rude when serving customers and when speaking because it makes me feel as if I’m offending her by asking her a question and it doesn’t make me want to order any food. No I do not know her name but I’m pretty sure other customers and maybe employees can point her out
Great Asian market! After moving from Dallas I’ve been on the hunt for a place to buy my favorite thai ingredients. I was able to find everything I needed (fresh thai chiles, wide rice noodles, shrimp paste WITHOUT added MSG). The aisles are kept clean and organized and the produce looks nice and fresh. I purchased dried noodles, but they do have a wide selection of fresh ones. I’ll absolutely be back!
Not crowded at all. Small but got what you need.
Very nice.
Love going to the Asian Mart. All kinds of fresh fruits, vegetables and exotic meats. Any Asian ingredients one could want. Lots of cool kitchen gear Walmart doesnt have. Their produce is bigger and sweeter than big box department stores. Theres an Asian grill as well serving yummy Asian munchies. Its worth a look, a very different shopping experience.
The fresh produce... yes!You cant throw this produce away. It holds forever in your fridge. I dont know whats going on here. But, you can get lots, pick and choose what you want to cook.. take a lil this and that..I had produce from this store over 2 months in my crisper.. never tossed any of it.
Very clean & wonderfully stocked with everything you need.
Has alternative quick grab medium size store if youre looking into specific oriental food sauces this is the place. Also the people are nice too.
Very Asian, with the scents, sights, and products! The scents of the Orient mark this shopping experience! Rice, saffron, cumin, and oils. Very enticing. These smells alone makes the store worth visiting. There are the very tools of the orient. This store has woks, dishes, chopsticks that are plain to elaborately enameled, as well as teakwood. They have rice in small bags up to 50 pound bags!! Spices in small portions to restaurant sized! I found this store quiet by mistake, and am I ever glad I did! I had seen the sign that said simply, Asian Market, I thought it was a gift shop, many gift shops have used this name in my area, THIS was MORE than just a giftshop. I am glad I found it, and less than 2 miles from my house! It was a wonderfulfind.
I love Asian food and since Im new in town I decided to hit the hot spots so I can accommodate my cravings. Did I mention Im an excellent cook?
Clean and well stocked.the staff are super friendly.
Interesting store for cans and jars of asian stuffs. Also well organized produce, not sure id trust the butchers block though.
This store is extremely dirty and you can smell the mold when you walk in. But there are some things you just cant get anywhere else, stay away from the meat and God Dont by the seafood and you can find some good stuff in the produce, can goods section and spices/herbs. They have a lot of interesting things, people are not very friendly but thats to be expected
Ill have to set aside more time to look around. But from a cursory glance they have a wide selection of goods. Like a specialized Wal-Mart.
Good quality stuff
Its alright doesnt seem to have too much but has some really awesome random stuff like fresh not frozen banana leaves
Never had a bad experience, of course my pregnant brains did drop a can of sweet mung beans for the tapioca pearl drink I was going to make for a family event one time. The cashier was super nice, and didnt let it get to me. They cleaned it up without a fuss and took care of it professionally. Always kind greetings and great customer service. Check out their yummy deli! I would say towards later in the day their tapioca drink will dry out and tend to get stiff, so get it earlier in the the day! Great mangonada and boba tea! Great papaya salad as well! We always get something to eat or drink at the Deli just about every time we stop there. They have these Mexican ice cream bars in their small freezer by the registers and they are bomb! For a good price too, I love the cookies & cream, coconut is kind of bland, but their strawberry is also bomb! They have other flavors as well.
Great family environment with friendly staff who know your name. They are very accommodating and if they dont have what youre looking for, they will go out of their way to try and find it for you. They have a great deli too.
They always have what I need!
Paying your bills here may take some time but cool environment overall
Bought something from Deli. Bubble tea and some spices. In and out in a jiffy. Was good.
Best Asian supermarket in town, though a little small. Good prices and friendly staff.
Not a bad place people arent that friendly but then again they are working hard, stuff is kind of hard to find, but if you ask they will help you. Most things are priced lower. Keep in mind this is mainly a Korean influenced place. Other Asian stores aim towards other ethic groups. They serve cooked food on sight thats pretty good and priced really well. Try the spring rolls with peanut sauce made fresh daily and the sticky rice is amazing.
Out of 3 only two cashiers work and one scales are broken and many people gather and cashiers work very slowly
I would say Asian Mart is my favorite Asian store in Tulsa! Friendly, nice staff, the clean environment, FRESH food, good price. I always have great shopping experiences over there! Well some folks said it was not huge store but I think they have enough stuff you need if you are cooking or just want to grab some Asian snacks and drinks!
Nice visit
I like to buy my shrimp here, at agood price. The location is nice and clean. No bad smells from the seafood either here.
I usually like going to this particular Asian store because it has a large floor space and it is spread out where you can see the items instead of being jammed together. I also like that the staff are friendly and willing to stop and answer questions.
Loaded with authentic Asian food. Produce grown locally in summer months. Very large. Alot of choices.
It’s small, clean and has a nice deli. I am hoping to come back for some kitchen items. I don’t often get to that side of town.
Basic Asian food. Limited cooked food available.
