I was about to put a deposit down on a car I was interested in when I realized I hadnt gotten the actual purchase price of the car in writing so I asked for that. Upon asking for that they raised the price ~700... then another ~2000... before I knew it the pre-tax purchase price was ~3k over the listing price and they were telling me they had 6 people waiting to buy the car behind me.I walked away from the deal and one day later they re-list the same vehicle for 150 less than the original listing price.... what? very shady

I visited Don Carlton Acura twice two weeks ago. Disappointing experience. First, it was difficult to find an agent to show us a car in which we were interested, a silver 2021 ILX. Eventually found Dan, who was kind enough to let us test drive the vehicle. However, my wife and I expected to negotiate a deal after the test drive. Instead, Dan told us to come back next week when someone in financing could talk to us.I returned two days later - the service was dreadful. I spoke with Darwich who just seemed to drag his feet. After almost 2 hours of getting no where close to a good deal, I left.A few things that came from the encounter: First, my 3-year old Honda Civic EX was appraised at $16,000. Second, the sticker price did not match the price Darwich came back with, which was over an $1,800 difference. Third, the leasing option was so atmospheric Id have to climb to the depths of hell to meet at a reasonable point.So, I went back over to see Sami (who I had previously seen the week prior) at Don Carlton Honda. Sami and Ryan Vogler gave me excellent, A+ service. They were both attentive to my needs and gave me a more than fair leasing option on a new 2022 Civic EX (and appraised my Civic Ex at $18,800, a $2,800 difference).I am disappointed that the customer service wasnt more consistent across the two Don Carlton locations. Sami and Ryan at Honda, again, were terrific. Dan and Darwich at Acura were wholly disinterested in earning my business.Needless to say, I will not be back to the Acura dealership. I will, however, give repeat business to Sami and Ryan at Honda.The folks at Acura need to step-it-up.
Fouad was absolutely wonderful to work with! He responded very quickly to my online inquiry, had the vehicle ready for a test drive when I arrived and even sent me on another test drive along to show my spouse. He had great knowledge and was very professional. Not you typical pushy, pesky salesman.

We made an appointment for an oil change and were able to get in same-day, like 2 hours after I called! That was awesome.
We found a car. Started negotiations they came back with an offer. They offered 10 grand for trade and we were told they could take almost 10 grand off sticker if we financed through Acura. My wife owed 6700 on car they offered 10 grand that leaves 3300. Sticker 5790.00 they only gave us 5900 for rebates after negotiating because I felt they could do better, they come back and tell us they can’t cause they only gave us 8 for our car and used rebates to make it look like 10 to make us happy. They LIED about the amount given for our car and the rebate. If you buy a vehicle from these people make them spell every dime out or they will scam you for sure.

I am a former Lexus and Acura owner. We had a definite monthly payment in our budget before shopping and after looking at several cars on the lot we were shown a vehicle with 5,000 miles. We loved the car and went in with the finance manager to begin the paperwork. We were a bit confused that after him seeing our high credit score that the interest rate was 3.9% (when a new car was 0.9) The finance manager quickly said he’d look a little more while I was deciding on whether I wanted the extended warranty and he came back with a better rate of 2.9 (which I thought was still high for basically a new car) and of course a better deal on the warranty (which that is a common practice of all dealers that I have dealt with). It was a certified car,so I assumed the car had been serviced before selling it to me and low and behold after putting a thousand miles on the car it needed an oil change. When I talked to them about that, no free oil change was offered. Petty, but good business!A representative from the dealership called and asked about our experience and if we were pleased. I told her my above statement. Said she would check into it and call back....no call.Several weeks later, the salesman called and said that I would be getting a survey in the mail and basically asked what I was going to put on the survey. I told him that I loved the car but shared the above concerns.... no survey has shown up in my mailas of yet! I would say that the Lexus dealership that I dealt with was much better at listening to concerns and addressing them in a straightforward manner.

This was definitely not the best first impression as a NEW customer. First, my service advisor Adwin Torres must be new in position because he seemed to lack knowledge and appeared timid when it was time to provide answers and details when requested. It was extremely frustrating 😤 and it appeared that he kept evading my questions and told me to wait until the next day to get it resolved. Its amazing how the next day he was off (How Rude and unprofessional)... However, Don Ingle (another Service Advisor) seemed more knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service. (I met him for about 5min tops) he was able to be helpful and provided me with details of my request.Ok, now on to the part that has caused me to not return to this dealership due to the distrustful🤥behavior 🙄. I dropped my car off to get a multi point inspection due to damage from transporting from another state. I had no issues with my car previously, but once I arrived to Tulsa I needed to spend $1500. It gets better... I pay for my services and go to place my invoice in my dashboard and my DASHBOARD falls to the ground. 😡 I speak with Don and he gets with his manager Michael who has to get the GM involved. (UNDERSTOOD) The next morning I get a call saying my tech didnt cause the damage, but we will fix. So, Im a liar but to keep me quiet 🤫 you will fix it...NO. Now the MPI issues I question 👀. I know Im a female but I will not be taken advantage of. Although I feel as if I did already.😔This is subpar service and if you damge a customers car or see an issue you report it. No one reported it and I was lead to feel as though I was dishonest, but we will fix it for good faith. This is the only Acura dealership in Tulsa and at this point I no longer want anything to do with this distrustful and dishonest dealership. Thanks but No thanks.
You have an incredibly efficient and friendly department and should be very proud. I hate having to take my car in for maintenance and dare I say I might actually be looking forward to my next service! Anyway, I do not typically send a lot of feedback regarding my experience with companies but your department highly exceeded my expectations and you deserve to know what an outstanding job they have done.

I went in to today for tire service and after returning home I realized my car was missing its radio antenna. I called the dealership, after multiple phone calls the service manager politely told me They would not replace it. I understand that this could be a complete coincidence. But it seems weird thats it would happen on the same day. I will not be returning for service.
I have bought a few cars from different locations in Tulsa and this dealership was one of the best. The general manager was personally involved and that was a very nice feeling. The selection was amazing and I believe I got the best price on my new Accord possible. If you are looking for a new Honda you have to give these guys a chance. Thanks Everyone!
The place has changed for the better. I can tell that the staff is happier to help and willing to go the extra mile. On top of that this place has a different type of feel to it so Im happy to be able to go to this place after passing it by for so long.
My service advisor Johnathan was great. He set the expectation at write up as to how the visit would go, and met it. My car was diagnosed and repaired in the same day - an experience that I havent had at many other dealers or independent shops. Well worth the money spent, not to mention the vehicle check up.

Very bad experience ordering parts here. Was lied too saying parts was coming next day and ready to pick at 9am. But when called to confirm pick Dana in part was very rude and disrespectful when checking my order, so because of another employee placing the order hours after I paid for parts. Very displeased.
I purchased a Vehicle about alomost two months ago and my buying experience was really Good. the only thing was when i got the Car it had a Crack on the Front windshield they said that they would fix it and they havent contacted me to get that fixed. also i been calling about my title and i still have not gotten it in almost two months.
As a person who greatly dislikes buying a car, I could not have been more pleased with Rafael Ramos and Don Carlton Acura - and I like buying a vehicle quite a bit less than I like a root canal.Rafael provided a relaxed and reasonably fast car-buying experience. Hes experienced, knowledgeable, and just a really nice guy. Each person I came in contact with was helpful and friendly. The whole experience was just a bit surreal as compared with some other dealers Ive been in contact with over the last few weeks. It was well worth the drive to Tulsa.

My fiance and I just went this past weekend and had the best car buying experience we have ever had. Rafael Ramos was an excellent salesman. He provided a great experience that was pressure free and let us choose what we wanted without being pushy. We were not strongly considering Acuras until we stopped in and three hours later we left with an amazing car and a great experience. When we are ready for another car we will definitely be back.
We are deeply disappointed and advise you not to trust this dealer. We bought a used car we found on carfax at Don Carlton Acura of Tulsa. No damages were reported. When we got the car (we had it shipped since we live out of state), there was over $1600 in damages - a deep scratch along the entire rear driver side door, four dents in the roof of the vehicle, places on the hood with no paint, a badly repaired scratch on the front bumper, and a scratch beneath the window along the back panel. We also just discovered that one of the headlights is burnt out. When we contacted Don Carlton Acura of Tulsa repeatedly, they did not respond to email and when we called them on the phone the manager denied the damages.
I read the reviews for Don Carlton Acura and their used car dealership and saw mostly good. A couple disappointing ones, but nothing too bad. I called them on a Monday about a car they had. It was listed $500 above my budget so I called ahead to ask about the price. I informed the salesman, Tim, that I lived 2 hours away and did not want to drive 2 hours for nothing. I had been approved for the full purchase price of the vehicle in advance. He said that Don Carlton Acura is more concerned about customer service than making a profit. He also said that they would be able to negotiate a good deal on it. I asked him to send pictures of flaws that I might be concerned with and he did, as well as saying there was no cigarette smell. Needless to say, one hour before I am in Tulsa, he texts me and says there isnt much negotiation room. I keep on towards Tulsa, because in the grand scheme, $500 isnt asking for too much off and it is a reasonable offer for the stains, holes, and scratches on the car. I arrive and as soon as I open the Sonatas door, the pungent cigarette smell hits me, covered up by some fragrance spray. Then after the test drive, we go in to talk about the price and he does the salesman thing of wasting time and making me wait on nothing. I offered 12500 on the car as it was listed at 13400 with the hopes of meeting in the middle at 12900. Tim comes back with the counter offer. Not a dollar down. Still at 13400. And they offered $500 below what my trade-in was rated on NADA rough trade-in. I tell him I cannot do that so he comes back and still offers $300 lower on my trade than it is booked at. They said we are losing money on the car and cannot go any lower. I walked out of the dealership and asked Tim to be more honest about what negotiation room there is before a customer drives 2 hours which he promptly told me that we no longer had any business and not to contact him again.Today the car was listed at 12999. But they couldnt come down a dollar a week ago. This is absolutely the worst customer service I have seen from a dealership and will never recommend it to anyone. If you are a college student who is independent and paying for a car yourself, do not go here, they will practically laugh at you. Overall it is their loss of a car sale and my gain of the opportunity to work with a much better dealer.Their doc fee is also outrageous. It is $259 more than the dealership I am working with happily now.
Acura “ Don Carlton “ located at 47th and memorial is full of BS FROM THE SERVICE MANAGER MICHAEL TO MOE THE ASSISTANT MANAGER OF THE DEALERSHIP ITSELF, So they have did ALL my oil changes since I bought my car at 20000 miles it now 172000 and they are telling me my car needs a New Oil Pan Hmmm ... Well a little fishy right that’s what I thought so I started to investigate Mo and Michael both toldMe they where surprised that on e would have last so long and that should have been out a long time ago I had to laugh at the man I couldn’t understand that he is telling me that if you treat the part correctly and don’t abuse it that it will break from wear and tear, now I take my car to the dealership to not have issues arise like this but yet they insist that it isn’t there mess up and that it will happen in time, so out of 40 oil changes that your company did you guys obviously did something incorrectly or we wouldn’t be having this conversation so please think about this before you go to DONCARLTON ACURA DO YOU WANT TO DEAL WITH DISHONEST PEOPLE MOE, and Michael are very dishonest peopleThat don’t assume responsibility

As always, the sales experience was friendly, straight-forward, and (I know this sounds wrong, but youre going to have to trust me)... easy. My sales rep (Van) sent me off in a new TL for a test drive, and worked with me to establish a reasonable deal on my trade in. I dont remember the gentlemans name who helped me, but I truly appreciate his kindness. FYI When I first bought my car, I was apprehensive about coming in for service. My previous dealer had brought me around to service and introduced me to the manager and walked me through what to expect whenever I needed to bring in my vehicle. I did not have that here. I was nervous the first time I came in because I did not know where to go or who to talk to. Maybe it comes from familiarity, but my last two visits have been extremely pleasant. The staff is extremely helpful where as the first time I didnt feel that.
