We have been a dealer for Jay Rambo for over ten years. Having been in the kitchen and bath design and build business for over 20 years, I can proudly state that these are some of the finest cabinets made in the country. While some have posted about installation issues, that is not the cabinet - that is the installer. We selected Jay Rambo to fulfill our cabinet orders primarily due to the unequalled finish they have mastered. Having finished hundreds of kitchens myself, I know how difficult it is to achieve the finish they provide. Go look at any builder home in your area, or the cabinets at the big box stores, then go see the difference at a Jay Rambo displaying dealer or their main showroom. The quality of the cabinets and the finish is outstanding. You will not be disappointed if you select Jay Rambo to build your cabinetry.
We spent a lot on our custom cabinets and are surprised at the issues we have had and which will never be rectified. Our cabinets were ordered in the fall of 2020 and installed in December 2020. This is our experience:1. Design work was high quality and the best part of the work done.2. Delivery was fine.3. Installation was the worst part of the experience. To start with, Jay Rambo installed a cabinet for our sink with no drain hole. Then when we asked if they were going to put the hole in the cabinet, the response was “no”, we do not do that. Strange,. We had to drill the hole ourselves - so be sure you are ready to do that if you order cabinets from them.4. Our floating shelves were installed and slope downward away from the wall. When we pointed it out, we were told that when back splash is put in, it will straighten them out. We took the shelves off ourselves and found the brackets improperly installed. We fixed these ourselves because Jay Rambo’s staff would do nothing about it. Keep in mind, we paid for the installation.5. We have several glass doors on our cabinets, one of which warped. Jay Rambo immediately rectified the door; however, part of the installation is the glass. We now have a cabinet door with no glass which apparently we must now pay again to have installed, even though the issue was the Rambo warped door. Our overall experience has not been addressed at all by the company. When speaking with some contractors who are familiar with Jay Rambo, they stated that the quality and responsiveness has dropped considerably over the course of the last 18 months. They are no longer a quality company standing behind their work.
These cabinets are awesome. Their cabinets were installed in our house 40 years ago and have held up exceptionally well. They stand behind their products and have great, friendly customer service, as they have helped us with advice and solutions on multiple occasions. We highly recommend Jay Rambo and their cabinets.
Beautiful top quality cabinets, entertainment systems, even closet systems.
We just completed a new kitchen renovation and installed Jay Rambo cabinets. We are very happy with the quality and craftsmanship of our new cabinets. We went with white shaker style and every single cabinet looks great and all doors and drawers align and close perfectly. They are based in Tulsa, Oklahoma and provide semi-custom cabinets that are really more custom at a fair price point. For example we wanted glass upper cabinets on top of the solid door upper cabinets and most cabinet companies we looked at were going to stack them. Jay Rambo put them together in one box custom rather than stacking which was preferred. They delivered our cabinets on time with the original estimate so they didn’t delay our project. But what really differentiated them from all others was the way they packed and padded the cabinets with cardboard corners, brown wrapper and cellophane that reminded us of packing used for crystal or China. This resulted in zero defects in the cabinets when we unwrapped them. This is a big kitchen with a lot of white cabinets that filled almost my entire two car garage and we didn’t have one nick, scratch, dent or dirt mark which was remarkable. They gave us a small bottle of touch up paint but we didn’t need it. Not many people have heard of them but you should try and find them for your kitchen because they are very high quality and an excellent value.
Talking with a coworker about his cabinets in his house built in 2009 that had already been refurbished that he was getting painted. He showed me pictures and they were all dented and scuffed. I asked him how that happened and he talked about the cheap cabinets that builders put into homes. His is a 350,000 home. I told him that I have the same cabinets that I put in my home 32 years ago and mine still look brand new. Thank you Jay Rambo for the quality that you put into your product. I have your cabinets in my kitchen, bathrooms, and an entertainment center in the living room. They still look and function great after two kids and five grandkids.
