Mr. Garrett took excellent care of me. Explained each step and directed my focus....he made the purchase smooth...and he he had procedure down cold. Even it meant a trip back outside for a document.

I purchased Magellan 3 persons tent and it got ruptured from the top then they accepted to exchange a year later. So customer service is amazing. I am attaching the first and second tents I purchased there so that you can compare them

I went there for headbands and/or sweatbands, but found none. There werent any in clothing nor were there any in athletic gear. I did find some serious back belts which will come in handy should my back go out again. I also found a much needed glasses tether. Ill still shop there but I will not get my hopes up

Awesome in and out very friendly staff. Not sitting around like it aint my job attitudes. The one girl who works returns definitely needs a raise. She was there the day I went.

I looked everywhere for a pair of workbooks my son wanted but could only find them online but he needed to try them on. Academy had one pair in-store available. I spoke the nicest guy in footware and asked if he could set them back for me for one hour and he did. We got there and he had them ready and waiting for us. Fit my son perfectly. We were even able to get $15 off our next in store purchase and 5% off on all future purchases when we signed up for an Academy card. We were both very happy when we left. Thx again to the friendly gentleman that helped us out so much!

Helpful service. It was hard to find something without asking first, but they have anything for any sport out there.

I am disappointed that according to the cashiers at this location, they have ended military and teacher discounts. Due to this policy decision I will take my business to other sporting goods that offer these discounts. Bad business and policy decision.

Went to get my granddaughter vollyball shorts. Found a pair of shoes and they were priced at 14.99 and strap broke but fixable. The sales lady said we could get them and they would take some off at register but when we got there they was trying to charge us 24.99 and only 10% off. We told him what the price was and he went back check and came back and said they were 24.99. We got her shorts and left the shoes.

Got what I needed and was out. But always like going here! Always super friendly also.

They have good products, but I find they dont have much inventory in certain sizes in the shoes. I am very pleased with the shoes I do find in my size.

Sales person behind the counter acts like hes doing people a favor. Your a sales person. Thats what you get paid for. Seen someone walk away saying the sales person was an @$$ hole. I was there to spend my money. I will not return again.

Danika in shoes was a great help to me. Academy is my favorite sports store & this store seems to do a good job all the way around.

Pretty bad customer service, went in to buy a .308 rifle that was shown to be on store online, came in, talked to the guy at the gun counter who was clearly really high. I couldnt get a straight answer out of him, talked for 15 minutes until he radiod someone. Got no answer, went to the front of the store to customer service, two windows open, both lights on to show a customer can walk up. The second window was busy, so I went to the first, theres a cop talking to the customer service lady about their hunting trip, I stood there for 10 minutes and made eye contact multiple times until I asked if she was available, she scoffs and says yes. At this point I say screw it, couldnt get customer service from either departments.

Ordered 2 stun guns for a friend who is in need of personal protection. Ordered and paid online was told they were ready for pick up but when I got there only one was in the bag so I asked where is the other one? I ordered 2. Thats when I was informed that they were out of stock of the missing taser. And that they already issued a refund. I would of gladly waited to pick up the next day or two to assure that I had both items that I paid for but was not given any options and hardly any info on if or when more would be available.

Have waited for a month for an NICS background check, and they said still no word, so I will cancel the transaction with this commie store, and take my business elsewhere. This is the worst place to purchase a firearm. The workers at the gun bar are nice people, but they have to follow the rules of their communist employer. I recommend going to a gun shop to purchase, or an FFL dealer.

Had been looking for some work shoes for months. Im very active at work and kneel a lot. This puts strain on my shoes, I found some steel toe Reebok shoes that are cloth right where I need the shoes to flex, so maybe these will last me more than 6 months before they start breaking.Also got some new workout clothing and some accessories to get back on track.

Customer service sucks, prices are high. They do have a good selection.

It was my first time going. Nothing caught me like hey I wanna drive across town to shop here and nothing caught me like hey you want to work here were awesome.

The 2 nice ladies, dont know one of them names, but she helped me find exactly what I needed from taking time out from what she was doing or had to do. The other nice lady name Jada is an awesome cashier. She was very pleasant, great attitude, respectful, and down to earth. The world need more people like the 2 nice ladies. Job well done ladies🎉😃👍🏾

Bought and returned 4 bicycles from other big box stores for poor assembly and workmanship. Picked up my Schwinn from Academy and it was put together perfectly, gears shifted well, and tires were properly inflated. I shouldve came to Academy first.

It looks really dead in there and for it to be a sports the color should have been a little bit brighter the store should have more life to it.

This is the only place I shop for my sports equipment and my running shoes. They have the best selection of Nike shoes in this area. They also offer the best prices. Whether you are an OSU fan or an ou fan they have a Great selection of sports wear. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

My fiance and i purchased a gun today. Everyone was beyond helpful and nice. The guy who runs the gun counter was extremely nice and helpful. They have had our business for years now...and will continue to have our business.

Great place for all things sport. Pretty high prices for clothing but very reasonable for everything else. Stock was a little low but thats to be expected right before Christmas. Staff were very helpful at both Tulsa and Owasso locations. Well definitely be coming back!

You need to find employees who actually want to do their job. Came in a few minutes ago to buy some ammo and other items and your employee behind the gun counter wasnt willing to help find what we were looking for when it wasnt in the location it was supposed to be in the store. So we left and will spend our money elsewhere.

No one help me took me about 10 minutes to find someone. Then they really didnt want to help look for something. Got someone from another department for help, then he called for someone else. You guys need to hire more help. Guess I will just start ordering from Amazon.

Academy on 41st is always clean and the employees are helpful. You can get almost anything for any sport. The reason Im giving a four instead of five star is because they dont always have the size I need. This trip I needed a Womens size medium softball slider (spandex) and there was every youth female size and womens S, L, and XL but no medium. We need dance attire, however we learned a couple years ago that they only sell youth dance apparel, nothing for the older girls who continue pursuing dance past elementary years. Still a great store and well continue to go for other athletic needs.

Went looking for an exercise bike. The one I was interested in was out of stock but the staff helped me find a comparable one at a similar price.

We asked for help with skates.....and no one served us, so we had to stand on shelving to get to the skates....almost causing an avalanche, yet no one showed up to assist us......very poor customer service!!!

Academy Sports is very good. Service was great, even though the checkout line was long. I attributed that to being the day after Christmas. Highly recommend this business.
