Went in today because we heard about their coffee from a friend, but the blonde lady who was wearing white pants and a yellow top followed us around the store watching us. We quickly left because we felt we were being treated like thieves when we really just wanted coffee. She even watched us as we left, very rude. It kinda ruined our evening.. that 100 years they’ve been in business may end soon if they treat their customers that way.

RUDEST STAFF IN TULSA! DO NOT SUPPORT!Do not support this company. Youre better off going to Reasors to get coffee beans. The staff in this shop are the meanest, rudest people Ive ever met. The blonde who resembles a mummied crypt-keeper has the worst attitude towards me and my family and Ive spoken to others whove had the same experience. I asked for help getting coffee and the decaying corpse looking woman said I already ASKED you if you needed help. Only come here if you have no self-respect and want to be treated like dirt.

I went to get coffee beans today and no one was wearing a mask even though the city mask mandate is still in effect. I went to the check-out to make my purchase and the staff and the customers in front of me were having a political discussion and making fun of the sheep who wear masks and will get the vaccine. I came to buy coffee not hear their political agenda. I will not be returning after what this woman was saying behind the counter. Awful customer service and made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable.

Really adorable place with an amazing selection of loose teas and coffee. Only downside is the staff. What some may consider “old fashioned”, I’ve heard political conversation and gossip fairly loudly in the store a few times now and to say the least, makes me feel a little unwelcome.

The only reason I gave this place a 4★ is because of the staff now its not all the stuff, my first time there I felt unwelcome and I was nervous to ask for help from them because of the way they were talking I over heard them talking bad about almost all the customers and even talking back about there boss and other employees .... Other then that everything is perfect about this place the coffee the home/cosy type EVERYTHING about this place in my opinion is perfect, I just dont like that my first time here I did not get everything I was going to buy because I felt unwelcome and was disrespect behind my back when I do come back I hope I dont see them 2 employees there anymore or at least I hope they will keep there rudeness to there selfOther then that I do suggest everyone to come here

The ONLY place to buy great spices in Tulsa! You save so much money buying from here! Fresher spices weighed out so you buy only what youll use! No waste! My Grandmother took us when it was only spices & a few cooking utensils in downtown Tulsa way back in the 50s. She shopped there since the day it opened. I still get my chili powder she used for tamales & Mexican food. I recently restocked my spice supply from there. Great for finding hard to find spices like tarragon, marjoram, savory, etc. & so much fresher dried spices than in jars @ store. High $ compared to back then since its grown, but have good variety of items not sold anywhere in town. Worth every penny, tho! Great to go & browse for a special kitchen or home piece or gift.

I can never go there again. The staff - including the owner - refuse to wear masks. I hate to throw a local business a bad review but their candid disregard for customer safety left me no choice. I will never return even after the pandemic. If they won’t wear masks makes me wonder about food safety practices...

Excellent and very quick service here Even in the midst of craziness they were very good to keep their social distance. Tough to beat the coffee here! I had a fresh cold caramel latte as well and it was delicious finished it before I left the store!

A great place for all the fun stuff for the kitchen. Plus they have a large assortment of coffees, teas, vinegars, and oils. We stopped by for a couple baking items and left with a couple more things than planned.

Its the lack of mask wearing for me. Youd think that after the first 3 follow ups from the health department, theyd get a clue. Sadly, theyd much rather put customers at risk as well as other people they work with. I will be telling friends and family to avoid this place until they come to their senses. Shame

I love this place...especially love the fresh brewed coffee aroma that hits you when you first walk in the door! I buy all my olive oil and balsamic vinegar here and love browsing their kitchenware and other home decor...such a treat to shop in this place!

We just love this store! They have wonderful spices, vinegars, and oils, just about everything you can think of. They also have a lot of interesting kitchenware! The little coffee shop next door its wonderful. And they have plenty of delicious decaf options!

Great selection of coffee... and teas. I like the simple drink menu. Too many places are overloaded with choices and it is not often that a coffee shop keeps things nice and simple. If you need home coffee brewing supplies, they have you covered from French press to vacuum brewing and in between. Plenty of other things to check out as well.

The tea selections were amazing, but the coffee itself was terrible. They didnt know how to make half of anything that was said, and over charged me for a macchiato that they only filled up 1/4 of the way in the cup. Do not go here for the coffee.

VERY snipey customer service when I called to ask questions about their tea. The lady confused my question and the tone of her response suggested she thought I was an idiot. Very disappointing.

The only place I buy my coffee beans. Great selection of really good coffees, and a just a fun shop to peruse! Aside from coffee, they sell useful kitchen items, baking accessories, household items (both useful and decorative), spices, syrups for making your own drinks, and quite a lot more. Not to mention the people who work there are some of the sweetest people in Tulsa. All around one if my favourite spots to be.

I love Mecca! Been going there for years. They have such a unique selection of merchandise...not just coffee and tea...which is exceptional also! The employees are friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Definitely a must to check out!

Everything here was great! The staff really went above and beyond to help us decide on a coffee by telling us about their different selections. Also, experiencing a piece of Tulsa’s history was icing on the cake. The grinder for our coffee was almost 100 years old!

They sale their spices by measurement, I get my smoked paprika there. They have a revolving inventory of high-end kitchen supplies as well

Visited for the first time on Valentines Day 2017 with my husband. LOVE their vinegar flavors and cant wait to try out the olive oils! They also have a small selection of loose leaf teas & whole bean coffees to choose from! Loved the kitchen gadgets available and the staff was very friendly and attentive! We will definitely be back!

I enjoy shopping at this store. It has wonderful, interesting items, decorations and gadgets for the home, but mostly for the kitchen. I think of it more as a wares store where coffee beans and a cup of coffee / tea may be purchased. It is a fun place to discover new treasures!

I don’t know if my husband and I went on an off day, as most reviews on here state the staff is friendly and helpful. This was our first time visiting and they do have a lovely store with a large selection of spices, coffee, oils, and vinegars. We went to check out the spices that were placed behind a counter. We didn’t know if we could go back there to get our spices or if only staff members were allowed. I’m a pretty understanding person when it comes to staff being busy and needing to wait patiently to get assistance while they serve other customers, but we were the only people in the store at the time this incident occurred. As we stood there for a couple of minutes, one of the staff members passed us to walk into the area of the store where the coffee is located. My husband tried to get her attention, but she walked on. I just felt like for a business to have returning customers, it’s important to have a little bit of customer service, such as greeting customers and checking in to make sure they are finding everything they need (especially when you have as many options and a unique store layout like they do). Unfortunately, we did not receive either of these and left without making a purchase and contributing to a local business. I hate to give this business a one star, but I felt unwelcomed and unappreciated as a customer. We don’t have any plans to return and will look for other local options that hopefully provide spices and better customer service.

Mecca is by far the BEST place in the Tulsa and surrounding area to buy coffee and loose leaf tea. They also have great items to buy for gifts and kitchen gadgets!

Better coffee than the grocery stores. I buy the Sumatra brand .Its less bitter and very smooth.

Great selection of coffee beans, joining the coffee club is a must. We make the trip up the turnpike from OKC about every three months to replenish our coffee supply. Could go online and have them send it but the shop to neat to miss

Yum yum yum. Tulsas best coffee joint is just getting better. Last time I was in T-town they were downtown, and now theyre out in South Tulsa. But the store quality remains awesome and they are really friendly. Plus they know their coffee and tea. I love this place when Im livin on Tulsa time!

Super helpful staff with a great selection of spices, tea, and coffees. You can just go and browse and enjoy the scents. When they didnt have a particular ingredient, the staff suggested a place I might find it.

Mecca is a bit pricey but the service and selection are both excellent. They have a lot of nifty cooking notions as well as an assortment of unique gifts. Unfortunately, they only carry popular spices in their bulk spice section so a lot of less-used ones will not be found here. I came here for harissa and they have neither it nor black lava salt. Nevertheless, Im glad I stopped by.

Can I give Mecca coffee 6 stars, please - pretty please! Its not just great coffee in Tulsa. Its great spices and great staff. If you are ever in the oil city, do yourself a favor and stop by. Its in a great part of the city, too - near Brookside and all the great restaurants and shops that make Tulsa a hidden jewel. Yum.

The store boasts a wide variety of coffees, teas, cooking gadgets, and housewares. If your not in the mood to shop, stop by for a drink from their full service coffee bar.
