I definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area that buys soil, rock/gravel, mulch or anything like that in bags. Save yourself like 75% and buy it bulk from them.The garden mix soil from there is really good. They even have hippy mix pete soil for... the other gardeners out there.

This year I had the best garden ever! I purchused their garden mix for the first time and I am positive that made the difference.

Got 4.5 tons of masonry sand. The lady was nice who took the order the truck driver delivered it where I wanted and was friendly. The price was also competitive.

The dirt I got from them was pretty bad. A lot of sand, dries out real quick. It looks like I’m torturing my plants.

Gem Dirt USED to be a reputable place to get your garden soil. But lately it has been an inferior product that is basically just top soil. I have several friends who have also ordered their product this year with terrible results. Buyer beware!

This place gets way too much praise. They took three products, each $30 a cubic yard, combined them and think its suddenly worth $130 a cubic yard. Just another soil place trying to ride the cannabis wave. Growing cannabis, dont source here. They use sludges in their composts anyhow.

Very nice staff. They let me have samples of their soil. It was delivered as expected. .I had just the Garden mix tested. Then added leaf compost. There were clay chunks that i have thrown away. In hindsight I would get more leaf compost and less Garden mix.

What I ordered was garden soil what I got was top soil I’m using this in raised beds and they told me to mix it with my existing soil I didn’t get what I ordered and definitely not what I paid for wouldn’t order from here again

Well this is the place for any kind of dirt you need. Staff was friendly and the loading was easy. It took me a bit to set up but the loader was patient and easy on my truck slowly dumped it in as to not explode my shocks.

Had good experience. 1st time picking up dirt and it was easy. Got a pick-up truck full of garden soil.

Gem dirt co will no longer get my business nor Recommend for ANY type of work again, we ordered 12 ton of 3inch crushed gravel and for the outrageous price of $300 they did not bring us near 12 ton, but the worst part is they brought us half a truck of dust not even gravel! When called was basically told “sorry about your luck”. I do not recommend doing business with this company. Definitely check your product before you pay for it.

Great prices and wide range of materials. Always helpful and friendly. I live close and have been often for multiple different things. Even when they are busy it doesnt take long to get materials loaded.

I was sent a load of dirt I was righteously not pleased with. This action left alone would have garnered gem dirt a zero star if it was an option however, the owner himself contacted me and took over 30 mins to talk with me and make the situation right. I will be using gem dirt as they obviously stand by their product and will do what is necessary to make sure a costomer is treated right. Any company that cares enough to act in this manner deserves our business. Thanks Gem Dirt for treating our business right as we feed our kids and pay the bills by way of good soil.

I called tues morning and ordered 5 yards of clean sandy loam. Was able to get it delivered that afternoon. Driver was super friendly. I think the price +delivery was fair. The dirt was as advertised.

I have raised vegetables for 40 years and heard that Gem dirt had great soil for vegetables. I had a new house and needed soil.This spring I purchased 10 yards of the garden soil for a raised bed. The dirt looked good but settled 6 inches. It compacted and the compost in it will not let the water drain out. The raised bed started out 18 inches and is now 12 inches. When you put a shovel into the bottom of the bed it is extremely wet. All of my garden plants have died or look worse than when purchased. Seed vegetables came up but never more than 3 inches high before dying. I have lost the whole growing season.A landscape contractor has told me that she will not purchase the garden mix because of the excess compost that holds water. Per her my only hope is to add a lot of sand to the bed.For everyones information I called Gem Dirt and they said they had not heard of this and there was nothing they would do.

Gem dirt did a great job providing quality material and good pricing on short notice for our inground pool and retaining wall project. I would definitely use Gem Dirt on future projects.

Lots of people recommended the garden mix. I should have listened to those few who told me to stay away. This stuff doesnt drain and is just terrible. None of my vegetables got very big, I still dont have a single pepper. The flowers didnt bloom or grow at all. Just terrible. The roots of my tomatoes are rotting. I wish it were as easy as throwing out bad food, but I will have to spend multiple days moving this stuff out of my garden. So angry.

From a service standpoint, Gem Dirt was very friendly, quick to take my order for 3 cubic yards of garden mix. The delivery came on time as promised and it was a very easy transaction. Unfortunately, the quality of the dirt forced me to only give 2 stars. The garden mix was mostly clay. Even after buying and adding an additional 5 cubic feet of soil conditioner, the water wouldnt drain properly. The plants had shallow root systems and didnt produce. In the end I am going to have to ditch this Gem Dirt clay mix and start from scratch with a different supplier next year. I was disappointed.

Gem Dirt is a fantastic place to go for a DIYer looking to get affordable dirt for home projects! We bought 2 cubic yards of dirt for a backyard leveling project, and a cubic yard of 50/50 mix for 4 garden beds. The staff was very helpful with what we needed, and provided great service. We got loaded up as soon as we were back in our pickup, and the dirt is great quality and super affordable as a replacement for buying bagged dirt. Will use again!

Best Dirt in the Tulsa Area. They have an excellent custom mix for garden soil and its much cheaper than a similar amount of soil you could build buying bags of various ingredients for a good garden soil.

The very worst. Ordered 2 loads of sandy loom. Supposed to be 12yards for 1 load. Well I got 12 yards with both loads. So cheated out of money and dirt. Dont get anything from them.
