Great service department.....I was sure my lawn tractor had major engine issues. They were thurough with inspecting it and found a minor issue and problem solved.Great to still know there are such honest people out there while there are so many that will just take you for what they can.
Took in my 15+ year old Dixon (they were bought out by Husqvarna) and they were able to repair it at a reasonable price. Great guys and the service was fast.
Friendly staff and great service. They always have parts! If you have a husqvarna, this is the place to go for repair!
Great service. I requested a tune-up that was above a basic tune up. Turns out my machine didnt need that, so they didnt charge me for more than the basic. Returning home, I was having an impossible time starting my lawnmower. Brian came out despite the fact that I live in the far corner of the county, because I couldnt afford to hire someone to bring it to them a second time. He looked it over, mowed a bit & gave me pointers on starting it. All is well now. Bad day turned out great! Service beyond the call.
This was first service experience and was terribly disappointed. The first guy i talked to wanted to backout of any work and wanted to refund the 100.00 i had to put of for service. He wanted to tell me then about his 28 years of experience. He had not talked to the man who checked it in about why it was low on oil. After talking to him the next day he said yes you were right it started right up. There was an initial price that was agreed on and then extra work was done i wish they would have said ech process was x amount instead of explaining it to me upon asking for payment. I ask them to sharpen the blade while they had it. You guessed it was not done. Very disappointed.
Knowledgeable employees. Quality products.
This is the place to go for pro Husqvarna chainsaws and parts.
I have bought a few things from them an considering Im two hours away from Broken Arrow, The first time I went there I realized costumer service (Needs improvement) But I over looked it, But the last time i went the guy that I talk to (in which I do believe was the same one as before,) He doesnt have what it takes to be in customer service. The next time I need something I wont be going back there for it. They need to work on their costumer service really bad.
Know your part number, model # at least, and Ian (front counter) can help you. Sears Craftman lawn equipment owners, this is the place to go. 90% of parts Ive needed are within 20 steps of him and I own a 13 y/o Craftsman garden tractor. Bought a used Hustler zero turn from him today, very satisfied. Thumbs up 👍 to OOPE and Ian.
I came in and it was as if no one wanted to help any costumer and they were very rude
Had ok service in past nothing to stellar. .Parts counter guy had a sour attitude .So I give him one back and he got a little more courteous.More recent I ordered a part..said they would call when it came in...3 months later still no call. But its ok. I got same part cheaper online by ordering myself. And actually received it.
Its great to go somewhere when someone sells you something even if you already have to try to help you, and even tell you how to fix it so you can save money. I love this company!
Always have what I need!
Very poor customer service. Ordered an item, it came in the wrong size. OOPE refused to pay return shipping.
Nice easy i called in advance to insure they had the part i needed was in and out the door in less then 10 min
Ive brought dozens of repair jobs into OOPE, and have been happy with the price and quality of repairs. Im a big fan of their service manager, hes super sharp on small engines. Hes fixed multiple power pruners, trimmers, and ground saws for us. They have a great, lawnmower blade sharpener that does a great job. They stock a ton of professional grade edgers and trimmers.
Great small engine and power equipment shop. They usually have the parts you need and if they dont they will get them. Good selection of new and used equipment. They also do service and repairs.
Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.
The staff is knowledgeable about inventory. They have exceeded expectations for service and availability.
These people are the best! Great price on repairs! Thanks guys! Your the best!
I CAN NOT recommend this company. Very poor customer service in the parts department. I try to Support local businesses instead the Internet whenever I can. I should have taken time to read O P E Reviews Before going back to their business. I had the same circumstance listed in one of the other reviews… I brought in the carburetor for my Briggs & Stratton engine, it had the manufacturers name on it as well as a part number. On my phone I had a Google listing showing the exact carburetor rebuild kit that the carburetor required. The parts guy stood up and walked away from his computer and said he couldn’t help me without the model number of the engine. There were no other customers in the store… He threw up his hands and said without that he can’t do anything. I Tried to explain that I had a part number of The rebuild kit on my phone, he was dismissive and not interested in looking. Don’t waste your time here… Go down the street to Smith Farm and Garden. They’re nice people and they know what they’re doing.
My Husqvarna saw was not repairable I got a very detailed explanation of the problem, was charged a very nominal diagnositic fee, which I got credit for on the purchase of a replacement saw Friendly and most helpful group
Do not attempt to do business with a company that has no customer service or management they are rude and I know if I spoke to a customer the way I was spoken to by Bubba Gump and the rude butthead manager I’d be fired but I guess that place is about the good ol boy account and service. Part wasn’t even knew from what it looked like and on top of that he didn’t like the fact I didn’t want to buy the screw that should and does come with it from the manufacturer
They were very friendly and helpful thanks
I purchased a new Cub cadet from home Depot last year I found out that the blades are stamped metal I called Oklahoma outdoor power equipment to see if they had any high tempered steel blades the cross reference the part numbers and found exactly what I needed not only were they better quality blades there were quite a bit cheaper than home depots junk good shop I recommend Oklahoma outdoor power and equipment
Order parts and ended up not needing them. Had my wife take them back still in boxes, never put on my lawn mower, and guy refuses to refund the coil since it is electrical. Wife said they were very rude when she picked the parts up and same as today. I will NOT recommend this place to anyone since they can not do refunds. I try to shop local but people like them make it easier to go online.
I was very disappointed in the special order service of this establishment. My elderly mother ordered her parts and paid on 12/19/20 and as of 1/20/20 only one part came in. My father is a veteran with parkinsons and dementia, my 80 year old mother is his full time caregiver and their sole source of heat is wood. The part ordered was for a log splitter, a dip stick. Though we had alot of seasonsed wood stocked from last year we were running low fast, so instead of doing the right thing for an elderly woman by telling her there were other ordering options, they remained silent. When I went in today the gentleman behing the counter said he had spoken to her 3 times, which is untrue, he spoke to her once. if we burn green wood, that has my elderly mother sneaking onto the roof every other week to clean the stove pipe. So next time have enough decency to not take advantage of a woman who is taking over every responsibility her husband had and advise her like a real gentlemen would. Thankfully, we ordered the part elsewhere today and will have it in 3 days.
Great service and friendly staff. I came in with a few problems with my mower and they were able to fix it. Would recommend to people.
The service here is great! Good techs, almost always have what I need and if not, they can get it! Thank you!
Excellent, honest service info. They told me up front that It would probably cost more to repair my chainsaw than I paid for it originally. While I did not have my equipment repaired because of this, I would definitely return with future needs because of their honesty.
I came in last week and their is a guy by name Mikey who is really helpful and knowledgeable about parts I will be coming back
Took an old Troy Built Tiller for service, asked them to get it running and functional. Told them the transmission leaked and needed service. Apparently they do not realize the purpose of a transmission is to transfer power from the engine to the drive thus allowing the machine to pull itself. The transmission drive levers were very hard to operate which I demonstrated, must not have even attempted to make sure the transmission worked after service. And even worse I asked them to start it when I came to pick it up. Guess what? It would not start. They took it back into the shop and said it need tinkering with. Neither the tech or his manager saw anything wrong with their approach to making it functional. Bottom line is im out $280 and the darn thing will not even start let alone be functional. Give these guys a pass.
In a bind to get repairs on rope assembly. Didnt even have to ask...... they took my part and had it fixed within 10 minutes! Super fair service charge.
Acted like he was being put out to have to look for a part. Not friendly at all. There was a thin fellow in there and he was friendly and acted as he wanted to help but the stocky guy was already I won’t say waiting on me but being irritated to have to wait on a customer.Went on down the street to Smiths and they were very friendly and helpful. No more of my business at this place.Very poorly run.
Great customer service, very attentive to any problems that I may have with my mower. 10/10
Disappointing customer service. I made the mistake of taking in the Briggs & Stratton carburetor from a push mower that I was having trouble with. I thought having the exact part in hand, it would be hard to go wrong. However, the individual at the counter only wanted the model/serial information from the engine itself to plug into his computer. He didn’t seem interested in getting out of his chair or looking at the part to determine the kit needed. The mower and engine were across town, which means it would have been a 40-minute ordeal to go to the mower and back. Luckily for me, Smith Farm & Garden is right up the street. The guy there took one glance at it, reached back and grabbed the rebuild kit from the drawer from behind him, and it was exactly what I needed. I had done a little looking into part numbers online on my phone in the parking lot after I left OOPE, and sure enough, it was the kit I thought it might be. My suggestion would be to skip OOPE and go just up the street to Smith Farm & Garden. They are willing to help and have the knowledge to identify parts. I should have read the reviews first…
Great guys, super helpful and wonderful service. Will be recommending to friends and family
They had a Toro Mower part in stock that I hadnt been able to find anywhere in town. It cost about $5 less than the most expensive place I couldve ordered it and only $1 more than the absolute cheapest place I could find. Service was great. The part was ready and waiting when I arrived. I was in and out in well under 5 minutes. This was my first time there but it wont be the last.
Monday, august 19, 2019 I came to this place and bought a carburetor for my husqvarna 125b. They charged me $29.00 for a no name brand. Not even a walboro nor a zama. I asked the guy if the carb was adjusted or do I need to buy the tool. He said no he couldnt sell ke the tool due to being a $10,000 fine but he said the carb is brand new and no need to be adjusted. I get home I installed the new carb but it bogged down soon as I pressed on the gas. I called back and asked them what would it take to adjust my high and low he quotes me $24.00 for something that takes less than 5 minutes.!!!!! I mean are u kidding me??. This will be the last time I shop at that husqvarna stealership!!.
They told me it would take 3 to 5 days for my part to come in and it took three weeks!!!!
Amazing parts Dept & Service they went above and beyond they didnt have the carburetor bowl I need but cleaned up my old one! Thanks OOPE
These guys go far beyond selling mower parts. There knowledgeable people.
Country city wise
Thank you for paying it forward. We are really happy bout the lawnmower we really needed one. Thank you again
Took a mower over there to have the clutch and belt system fixed. We changed the filters, oil and plugs before before we took it over there and ran it for maybe 30 minutes worth of mowing. I then get a call a couple days later to inform us that the mower needed plugs, filters and oil.I can only imagine how many parts they have fixed that they probably havent even looked at, will never take anything here again due to dishonest business practices.
Impossible to get any sort of customer service. Took my lawn mower in for repair. They were up front about the cost would most likely increase from their original estimate......it did. Said they would have the mower about 5 days or so......10 days later, return mower with NO oil in it. Great, thanks for ruining my mower. Tried to get a muffler for my sisters mower, geez is it that hard to look at the part Im holding and give me a new one?! Apparently it is.
Brought my Husqvarna weed eater to have the gas lines replaced since they literally disintegrated (this was all I asked them to do). a month later they tell me I need a new carburetor and it was going to be $120, I mentioned that I only asked them to replace my fuel lines and asked how much that was and they werent sure but would call me back in an hour. 5 hours later they call me to tell my my weed eater is done and it was $31 (never called me back to confirm). I picked up my weedeater, brought it home and tried to start it, it ran then died. I decided to look at the carb and noticed that they took the entire carb apart and ruined all the gaskets which are non-replaceable and gouged the mating surfaces. So I did need a new carb but it was because they screwed it up. I ordered a new carb online for $30 and put it on myself and now it starts and runs just fine. Dont bother with these people unless you want them to not listen to what you asked them to do, break your equipment, then try to charge you for parts and repairs they caused.
OOPE has always been the place to take our equipment, I run mostly all stihl chainsaws and I would not take them anywhere else. The service manager is very sharp when it comes to all makes and models of power equipment.
The staff were swamped! Still were helpful when changing our new mower out for one that better suited our needs. Thanks guys
Meh, dont bother calling for parts...Apparently nowadays, the customer is supposed to provide the part number for the most common belt on the most popular pro mower. Look, just order your parts online, people. This is exactly why. Local retailers are forcing people to do this anyway. And the other big local place aint much better either. Ebay works best!
Oklahoma Outdoor Power Equipment is a great place to get your equipment & to get it repaired. Always friendly & courteous.
I had just recently got a ex mark when deck belt broke. Went to them next day on a Friday gave them the model # but didnt know the series it was. Get home it was wrong one. Did my own research and bought on at oriellys on sat because I needed to mow and they werent open. Go back to get refund and guy tells me thats why I only do exchanges on belts Ive been burned before acting like I had cheated him. very rude wont ever go back! I also asked a question the first time I went in and he made a joke about it. Worthless.
The manager Brian is very unprofessional and a racist. He tried to charge me 90 an hour for a job he didn’t do right the first time. so i told him no because he should’ve fixed it right the first time instead of trying to profit from his mistake. Very ignorant and doesn’t care about customers for telling his employees that i am banned and banning me from any service or product for life. i’ve been doing business with them for years.
Great place, went in to get my Husqvarna weed eater looked at. Theyre very helpful and nice people.
The best place for parts and service for yard equipment and chainsaws.
NEVER PAY A REPAIR BILL UPFRONT!A REPUTABLE REPAIR SHOP WILL SHOW YOU THEIR WORK BEFORE THEY ASK YOU TO PAY.They charged me $160 dollars in repairs to a $175 weed eater. They returned it fixed- non operational and with used/ worn parts on it. They would do more work on it for more money. **far exceeding the replacement cost of the machine**When I confronted them about the used parts, they first denied then became violent and threatening.**Update:November 29th 2018** My money was refunded to my account by OOPE after I filed a dispute through Visa
I was on hold for over 20 mins every time it would start ringing again they pick up and say hold wouldnt say we will be right with or anything terrible customer service!
SASQUATCH SERVICE!!!!!! Their computer think for them. Smith farm and Garden was more than helpful than OOPE
So were experiencing the same issues some of the other reviewers are. They do not honor warranties. Bought two chainsaws from them. One of them quit while I was running it for about 10 minutes for no apparent reason. Had just gassed and oiled it. Pulled the cord to try and restart it and gas was leaking out. Now OOPE says that its not a warranty issue because we damaged it somehow. They want to charge $250 for repairs. We barely used a brand new chainsaw, it quits and starts leaking fuel. They said we must have damaged it transporting it (we didnt btw). If a chainsaw is so delicate that it cant be transported then you need to buy chainsaws elsewhere. Lesson learned.Edit: I updated the rating from 1 to 3 stars. They came around and did the work as warranty work, but the explanation for why they changed their mind didnt make sense. It had nothing to do with why they denied us to begin with.
Very good service on the lawn mower, and they told it would be ready in 2 weeks, and they called saying it was ready before then.
Went there to get the parts for my riding lawnmower. They had them in stock! No waiting for shipping, etc.
The have the parts I need and help with information I need to repair my friend lawn equipment. sometimes I even get to work on my own stuff.
Willing to help find anything you might need if they dont already have on hand
Staff is very courteous and friendly. Steady customers so sometimes theres a wait.
I went in to buy a drive belt for my Husqvarna YTH24-48 lawn tractor. When you go into a Husqvarna dealer, you expect to be sold OEM parts . I gave all the pertinent information to the person behind the desk who put an offer brand belt on the counter. I had priced both aftermarket and OEM belts online and had a good idea about prices. I asked the counter person if he had an OEM Husqvarna belt in stock. He said that the aftermarket belt was the only one they stocked . The price of the aftermarket belt from India was just shy of $33.00. The same belt is available online for $19.99 with free shipping. I will not be returning to this business under any circumstance. Its not that this experience was something I couldnt deal with, its that if they are willing to mark up sub standard parts so to more than what OEM parts sell for ($22.98 in this case), what are they doing with everything else they sell!
Dont bother taking anything there to be fixed unless you bought it there as they give priority to products purchased there. Dont bother taking anything there that is under warranty as they wont honor the warranty and will charge you for the repair anyway. I made the mistake of thinking they would honor the factory warranty on my Husqvarna mower after the manufacturer lists them as a factory service location but they charged me over $100 anyway, would never have taken it there if I would have known that. It was ready after 3 weeks. I plan to contact Husqvarna next but doubt they will care either.
Ian and Wade are very friendly and helpful always taking great care of customers!
Saw the guy that worked there push a customer out of the store. What a horrible person to treat customers like that. Will be telling EVERYONE TO NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!
These guys are really helpful!
Sorry service
They fixed the mower pulley right at the counter! All they charged us for were parts! They were great!
I bought a husqvarna string trimmer from them and a month later I had a problem. Oklahoma outdoor power equipment told me 4 to 5 days and it was 2 weeks before they ordered the part. Then they said 3 to 6 days and it was another 2 weeks and would have been longer if I hadnt called and told them I wanted my money back or a new trimmer. Apparently the part was just sitting at the store and nobody was following up on anything. Then they tried to charge me for a air filter for it when it was only used for a month and thats not why it was there. The service is crap.
Knowledgeable staff, excellent sales experience, my equipment was assembled, fueled, tested, and ready for me when I arrived.
Ordered parts and was told parts would be in March 11, 2016. Its now April12th and still no parts. Ive called numerous times only to be told they will check on it and call me back. Ive never received a call back or the parts. I will be calling again today requesting a refund if I receive the same response. I am doubtful I will ever see my parts or money again.
Horrible experience. Ill never go there again. Lied to me 3 times, didnt call me with an estimate on the repair and then repaired it ND then took all the new parts out of my saw.
Very helpful and knowledgeable. Straight dealing and honest
They service what they sell first! Great customer service.
Managers really nice; parts guys are surly and disrespectful of customers.
Dude was a total jerk, idk if it was a woman thing or thats just his resting attitude but he acted like he’d never seen a mower blade in his life and wasn’t about to even try to help me buy them.
Its good great hot links
The service and honesty this business provides are excellent.
This establishment is highly overpriced and filled with rude employees that will make you stand around for an hour ignoring eye contact and pretended like you dont exist. 0/5
Worst customer service. Sold me a mower half power and smoking told me it was as is when I tried to return next day.
They had exactly what I needed and at a waaaaay cheaper price than anyone else.
Great Service, incredibly helpful. Very knowledgeable .
Made a service call today, got answer over the phone. Lawnmower runs great and best of all my lawn is mowed
Great place to shop for lawn equipment, friendly service people
I’m always needing something and anytime I call or text the parts guys they are right on it and even have delivered to me if it’s urgent.
Great people knowledgeable very pleasant experience
Ive been using OOPE for a few years now,and almost always have something in for service, as I have several properties to maintain. My recent experiences have been terrible. The most recent, I dropped off a riding mower for tune up & some minor repairs. Was told it would be about 4 weeks. On the 5th week we were told that they were waiting on BELTS...yeah, BELTS for an MTD mower, the most common brand anywhere. This from a place that boasts a big inventory. After 6 weeks, we were told it would be ready the Tuesday after Memorial day. tried to pick it up a few times that day but every time, was told the mower was in transit...they also gave us 2 different dollar amounts to pick it up. The repairs included a new drive pulley & belt. We finally got it back the next day, only to discover that now it wont pull its self up the slightest incline, a problem that did not exist before. They also left off a pin that holds the deck on, and then, after calling & arranging to take it back for correction, my employee was treated very rudely by the person working the Garnett location on June first; tried to get out of fixing it altogether. I dont know whats happened to them the past year, but theyll be losing business fast at this rate.
Awesome service and friendly staff.
Great customer service, fair pricing.
Horrible customer service. They are very rude on the phone and will put you on hold and never come back.
Parts counter guys lack enthusiasm could have been having a bad day I will try them again because they had my parts in stock
Customer service does not exist, eternal hold and hang ups. dont recommend this place to anybody, looking for parts or repair.
Great service
Had a piece of equipment no one else could fix - these guys did a stellar job!
Horrible been trying to get certain parts for over a month. Waited 2 weeks kept saying wasnt here yet come to find out never order. Just waited another 2 weeks for a part and it was wrong one.
Great customer service!
Nice friendly environment
