Dennis and team are really supportive and proactive in helping get the customer what they need. I purchased a Scag Zero turn mower and Dennis guided me to the right model and had all the detail without any pressure to just sell. I truly appreciated that approach. We had to wait on Scag to build more before I could take delivery but Dennis helped every step of the way till the very end. They even drove to OKC to get my mower then delivered to me at no cost. That type of service will get Smith Farm and Garden a long term customer.I just want to say great job and thank you
I love this place. Good prices and a level of service that will help you feel fantastically confident about the tool youve just bought, even if its something youve never used before. Seriously. Dont buy your tools from Home Depot, especially if youre a relatively inexperienced homeowner like I was. I like how the tool was assembled, tested, and ready to go with a quick lesson, and I know where I can get well-priced service, even if its because of operator error. I wont get that from big-box store.
Smith Farm and Garden is the best company I’ve found in the Tulsa area for sales and service of commercial lawn equipment. Sales representatives Brian/ Dennis will get you the right equipment for you business. The parts department is very knowledgeable of the equipment they sale.Alvin Mayes
Great people and products. Ask for Bryan, he’s the best
Been going here for many years. They are very knowledgeable, carry great equipment and take care of you after the sale. Would highly recommend
Our blower stopped working and when I got to Smith Farm and Garden it was close to closing time however the staff was very gracious and helped us pick out a blower and we were on our way within a few minutes I really appreciate their time and courtesy
Great place! Ive used Smith for years and will always prefer locally owned businesses. If a blower is a little bit cheaper at a national chain operated store you dont get the same product and likely the national store doesnt pay their employees as well
Drove 90 miles just to get a gasket that cost under 3 bucks, they actually had them so I bought extra. Now if only my walk behind weedwacker would work again... But the gasket fit perfectly and was the correct one... So happy they had them... I was getting tired of searching for a place that had it..
Great place, great people, great service and equipment. Their service dept. Crew knows what they are doing and the sales staff are very helpful and accommodating. Ive done business with them for many years.
Good costumer service, they took care and fixed the issue with a piece of equipment very fast, and made sure it was correct.
My dad and I have been shopping at Smith Farm & Garden since we moved here in 2001. Many employees that helped us back then at their old location are still there today and to me that shows what a great company they are. Their customer service is unbelievable. Lately I have just been emailing them to see if they have what I need and I rarely even ask about the price because it doesn’t matter - I will get a good price and more importantly - good service. No reason to shop around. They get it ready and I just swing by and grab my equipment.Highly recommend this place - Tyler
Smith Farm and Garden has helped me achieve success in my business for over 15 years. They carry top shelf brands to always help us see every job through. Their staff is extremely efficient and knowledgeable. I highly recommend to anybody in the market for outdoor equipment. Best dealership in town.
Great experience!! The guys are very helpful in getting the items I needed.
They had the part for my weed eater at a fantastic price, and when I mentioned just in passing that I wanted a hat, the guy comes up behind me in less than 5 minutes and give me a hat for free, great place to be!And even though he did not have the part I need it from my mower because of the dealership, he even gave me the part number for it so I can find it somewhere else. I always like to come to the store!
Great service. Great product. Written info could have been more complete. Thanks for your assistance and knowledge.
I have bought multiple pieces of equipment from Smith and always had a great experience. When I am servicing my equipment they are also very helpful in making sure I get the correct parts
Since 6 years ago, the only place i feel comfortable to by equipment is Smith Garden. All the employees are friendly and the will always help you in all your needs by answering any question.
I have had a lawncare business for years and switched to Smith from a place in BA. I dont have a huge company but I spend a significant amount of money with them. Staff is friendly and very helpful. They arent pushy at all in sales which is a relief. Competitive prices, negotiable, friendly and I trust them. Everyone is honest I have dealt with.
Awesome place everyone should get there parts from here fast friendly service
I have dealt with many dealers over that last twenty two years and Smith’s has earned my business for many years to come. Never have I walked into a equipment dealer and been met with more passion for the customer and the willingness to fulfilling my needs. Whether it be parts, equipment, supplies or airing seasonal frustrations, Smith’s is always there. Big shout out to Bryan for scrambling to get my equipment rolling during these hectic times and shortages. Thank you to all those in Parts and Service for continued professionalism. I couldn’t provide the quality I’m known for without Smith Farm.
Had my parts in stock that i needed and service people are awesome.. ! So away I go to put my mower back together get the yard cut..!
Lifesaver...! Had parts in stock for my Toro mower even on a Saturday..! Awesome,..! In and out in a jiffy.. Back in business with the lawn mowing...!
Friendly,Profesional, and fair prices
Very knowledgeable and no pushy salesman easy finance
Great, friendly customer service.
Great place. Very friendly and knowledgeable
This is the place to go for Stihl chainsaws and parts. Great service from a knowledgeable and friendly staff.
Great service and knowledgeable staff.
Great staff ask for Dennis very knowledgeable and informative.
Always have my needed parts
Excellent service and the owner Kris Stump is phenomenal. You will love working with them!
Very friendly had the blaze I needed easy an easy out
Good people good product Thanks
The parts guy was nice and patient, he helped me find the part that I needed
Good people working here. I delivered a load of lawn mowers at this location, dock is on 56th street north side of building
Be aware you spend good money for lawn mower tires $150 plus for 2 tires then want to charge you $28 per tire to put them on the rim.Totally not right.
Always can get the parts I need. Friendly people too.
Snotty attitude toward customers. To busy talking to each other to wait on the customer before me and I. Zero score
No help looking on cell phone the whole time.
Good service 👌
Love this place!! Commercial grade equipment and friendly staff.
These guys are GREAT!! Had a very enjoyable experience in their store and would highly recommend them for all your yard equipment needs?Great job buys
They didnt fix the main thing I asked for - the electric starter on my DR Trimmer. It had big yellow globs of lubricant just daubed all over the place. I took it back the next day, and they ended up REPLACING THE BATTERY which they reported failed to hold a charge. They must not have started it AT ALL the first time. $94.00 in labor the second time. $180.00 the first time. They should have fixed it the first time and I wouldnt have $94. 00 in extra labor to pay! And how do you tune up a machine and not notice the battery wont hold a charge?
Very good service
Probably the best overall Stihl dealership in the Tulsa area. Great showroom with lots of products and accessories.
These guys can fix anything related to lawn equipment. Expensive, but it’s done right.
Id give five stars but they tend to gouge prices on smaller items and parts. Great customer service specially with the parts guys. I will say I have bought several mowers and other small engines from them over the years and on their small engines, I havent found cheaper. However, I have ordered weedeater line, carburetors and replacement parts and always pay over premium for it (specially carburetors) so I stopped going to smith for those items. I read where someone else mention the same thing on weedeater string and the owner simply said As far as trimmer line goes, all line is not equal for sure. Thats purposly misleading and a little shadey in my opinion. You know your competetors prices and still jack up the price by 21%. Its like 20.9% but close thats still awefully high.Well here is the string I bought with receipt and the price it is at home depot. Its also cheaper at other lawn and garden stores and online for sure. Check prices when you buy replcement parts is all Im saying. These lines in the photos are the exact same.
First off I am not Ralph Blake thats my screen the internet is a dark place the people at Smith know who i really am.=========I needed a new chainsaw picked the STIHL CM211 a 35 cc engine with 18 Bar weight 9.5 Lbs its what they call a homeowners chainsaw, if you view a few online videos you quickly know it can do a lot more then just small around just your yard, it can fell small trees and buck a lot of firewood.Smith Farm&Garden has been my go to Dealer for around 30+ years mowers all Hondas edgers both Shindaiwa and STHIL also a small leaf blower a STHIL and now chainsaws, yes i said saws because i just could not have just one chainsaw. So i again started looking at a bunch of online chainsaw people using many brands and sizes, many using what STHIL call their farm and Ranch saw, but their still not in what STHIL calls their Professional saws, i noticed in the videos many were using the Professional class STHIL CM 261 C-M a 50 cc engine at 10.8 Lbs about a pound more them my CM 211, but a lot more power, the STHIL Farm&Ranch is the same size but around 4 lbs more weight, the CM 261 C-M has a magnesium body not the non metal as the Farm&Ranch, also a lot of other added items that make it a Professional type saw and it makes it cost twice the price of the Farm&Ranch so if you really dont need the extra items found in the CM 261 C-M and mind the 4 extra pounds in weight you can save around $300 dollars buying the Farm&Ranch.Myself i just liked the less weight and i liked the added extras the CM 261 C-M had, over the Farm&Garden might not enjoyed the $300 extra dollars but thats life in the long run it moves you into a really tough long lasting chainsaw.I really love both the STHIL CM211 and the STHIL CM 261 C -M, both have place in my chainsawing projects. Now dealing with my local Smith Farm&Garden Dealer, i have always had great service from my good friends working at Smiths never a shopper stalker in their sales, they let you do all the looking around you want, but you have a question and they are there to give you honest answers. Need parts the people in that Dept. are ready and will in to give you what you need, need Service my good friend George Finley have know him maybe 30+years has never failed to get my many yard items fixed, and he always has time to answer my many sometimes dumb questions, and i am sure the other service people are just as good or Smith would not have them.Have you ever talked to people who have bought from Home Depot and Lowes about how they were treated if they had a service problem with a product? Do you know how they hire their service people and train them? Have you noticed you hardly see the same people working in their Sales or Service Dept.s i highly advise you to do some checking before thinking your going to save some money buying from them, not trying to run the BIG BOXs down just saying do some checking.Hope i have given you some items to think about, you sure dont have to do as i did but what ever you buy at Smith Farm and Garden you wont later feel you went wrong.
I wanted to buy a mower, and was greeted by someone that didnt want to sell me one. Or maybe he just didnt want to be at work. Either way, you dont greet customers withSup.Hi, hows it going?Good...Okay. Umm. Are you willing to help me?... Sure.Terrible customer service, no excuse. Go somewhere else unless you enjoy being treated poorly.
I really appreciated the knowledge & professionalism that Brian brought to the table when he assisted me last Saturday. What was a major investment for me, he made very easy & gave me confidence in my selection. I believe that Smith Farm & Garden will help me maintain my equipment & further my business. I would definitely recommend them.
Theyre good people
Friendly and knowledgeable staff can always find the parts Im looking for
Totally agree with all of the positive comments here. Walked in looking for some obscure parts and walked out with everything I needed having been helped along the way by Steve Adams. Entire experience was professional from the moment I walked in the door, was immediately greeted and directed to where I needed to go within the store to get help. A little bit of a drive from MidTown TUlsa but my go-to place now.
Parts department was right on point with helping me get replacement parts for my Honda mower. Even had everything I needed in stock. Will be my go to place for lawn equipment and parts from now on.
Helped me out and love going there because of the staff.
They have them Honda Parts all day okay! Yes, go here first. Itll save you time with no trouble!
They will not negotiate prices they say because they have the lowest prices. Well they do sorta...their prices on equipment is typically lower then most but they make it up on weed eater string thats $36 vs same line at lowes for $26 or a carburetor they wanted $60 for and I got two with lines and filters for $12 on amazon. I think they make up the profits on service and or parts & accessories, shop around for parts. Dont let them sale your equipment for you at 25% fee when craigslist is free.
Great staff, very knowledgeable, and really took the time to help us solve our issues. Chainsaw issues, not personal issues. But who knows? They might be good at that too. Wouldnt surprise me.
I went to get a carburetor for my mower. Only one parts associates was helpful. The store should give him a raise. I think his name was bill. He took the time to look up the part even though it was harder. The other two just dismissed my request and said I had to go home and look for another number. LAZY. Maybe look it up on the net. LOOSE A SALE? As I business own it is very important to strive for excellence and to reward those employees that go the extra mile for the customers. Very satisfied.
Great service. Easy in and out. Fair prices and generally on time with service estimate.
This company is amazing. They help you without even thinking about the money they could make off you. Felt extremely valued here and the staff went over and beyound with help. They saved us so much money and had the part that no one in the tulsa area had in. Thank you so much Smith Farm and Garden. They have earned our business.
Took chain saw in for service. Friendly and original. Finished work before estimate. Reasonable shop fees.
Awesome staff very helpful
April 20th I purchased a new Honda Self propel steel deck lawn mower ($450). I was thoroughly impressed with the buying experience and that they tested the mower before I loaded it up in my truck. That experience in itself I would rate five stars... I debated on giving a two star rating, however my complaint is with the service dept and customer appreciation. May 8th I took in the same lawn mower that I had just purchased as the self propel was no longer working after the second use. The man behind the counter was extremely nice, told me they’d call if I’d be charged for anything outside of “warranty” issues. May 16th I get a call saying the lawn mower is fixed and ready to go. This time it’s a different man, not friendly and seemed irritated before I could tell him why I was there. Because of this one person I deduct a star... I am then charged $30 as it wasn’t the self propel system but rather a small piece of wood no bigger than a nickel that was lodged in the wheel. In other words I was charged labor $28.50, shop supplies of $1.71 and the. .15cents in tax.... the second star is deducted because I had just purchased a lawn mower, and a tiny piece of wood got stuck and it probably took five minutes to fix. Even if it took thirty minutes to fix, where’s the “we appreciate your business” factor in this? Since then, my recommendation is for Bloss just a couple blocks south of Smith.
Poor service. Went to the trouble of loading up the mower AFTER I spoke with their rep on the phone. When I get there they tell me there’s 180 people in front of me. Was going to buy a Stihl chainsaw and a few accessories to clean up my property. Now how I know how they operate I’ll purchase from an alternate company.Let’s not forget that I bought $1500 worth of lawn equipment with them in the past so it’s not like I was some joe off the street trying to get service. I was expecting dealership treatment. I’ll probably buy my next mower online and get the service work done at Eddies in Jenks.
EDIT:2 days after my original review, Kris, the branch owner reached out to me and worked to make everything right. His effort to understand this issue and work to resolve it was extremely impressive.Although I didn’t go back right away, when I did a few months later (today) to talk with Kris he remembered my issue and kept good on his word. Many thanks guys, looking forward to doing more business in the future.***********************************I dropped off two chains on a Thursday before noon to be sharpened. I was told they would be ready in 24 hours, by my math that would be Friday at noon. When I had not received a phone call from them by Friday at noon, I called to inquire on the status of my chains. I was told that they would probably be done by end of business day. I told the representative that I spoke with that I had a project on Saturday and I had to have them back. Due to events that I had planned on Friday evening, I stopped in at 3:30 to inquire on the status of my chains. I was met by rather abrupt and somewhat perturbed gentleman at the parts counter who begrudgingly informed me that the chains were “next in line”. I asked for and obtain my unsharpened chains and proceeded to alternative plans. These guys used to be great to deal with, but now they don’t really seem to care or communicate accurately.
Great variety great service
If you cant find your part here then you might need to go online. They saved me time and money when my Stihl and Honda equipment breaks down. They sale mainly commercial lawn equipment (zero turns). The two parts guy are the greatest. Just be patient with us who dont know all the part numbers and lingo, help us out. Thank you. I recommend this place to anyone needing lawnmower parts.
Why go to the big box stores? Prices and customer service top notch. Personal service and attention to details make Smith Farm and Garden stand out!
Parts dept is always stocked. Always have what I need.
So less than a year on my mower and a part wore down a little prematurely in my eyes. I did not get my mower from Smith, however they are a dealer representative for my mower. Went a little before they opened into service the fellas were at the desk and asked what I might need. Told them I could wait till they opened officially and they said no its ok what might you need? Long story short I needed a couple parts one was in stock $7 the other beefed-up be ordered $25. Spent about $37all done and said. Price was spot on service was great from service guys and parts guys. I even talked a bit about an estimate to fix the desired issue zeds even the hourly labor charges were spot on and a little less than competition!Going back to get an additional part because more was wrong after I got into the issue. So for the one star folks out there consider that maybe you didnt ask enough questions and people have bad days. Sometime its hard to fake a smile especially if it is personal. Not trying to give excuses for bad experiences, consider how present you are when negative issues arrive.
Went in today and purchased my first zero turn. When I entered Dennis greeted me and was an extremely nice guy. Asked me a few questions and put me on a scag 48. I had wanted the 52 but Dennis said with what I’m mowing the 48 would be a better fit. With most people trying to sell you the most expensive one they can it was a breath of fresh air for Dennis to explain the the 52 would maybe save me an extra 3 minutes and saved me $200 bucks. Thanks to everyone there for making the experience a pleasurable one. Got a customer for life!!!
My name is Stephen Crist and I work at Phone Doctors on 7st and Memorial. Kris Stump, the Owner of Smith Farm and Garden came in to get a phone repair. We fell behind on our repair time and this gentleman shows such grand and patience with us. I know you can expect to be treated even better when you step into this mans local business. Come support this mans local business as he conducts himself so respectfully. Thank you Mr. Stump for kindness as well as your business.
Just returned from purchasing a part for my string trimmer. Parts counter guy showed me a better part than my manufacturer and 30% cheaper. Even set it up for me. Very happy with my visit. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!
What a great place for top quality products, supplies and parts. Super knowledgeable staff who are really friendly and helpful.
Service was fantastic. Everyone was very helpful and answered our (mom & I) questions without treating us like we were wasting their time.
They had a part that I have been searching for and couldnt find. They were a true lifesaver.
Kinda disappointed. Good thing called before going. Last time I went and more than helpful but when I called very rude so more than likely wont be going back
Good deal and good people
If you need your lawn and farm small equipment serviced or simply need to upgrade, Smith Farm & Garden is your one stop shop.
Experienced sales people point me to the best value for my need. Service department is awesome.
Great customer service and friendly sales personnel🤗
The absolute best place to get lawn and garden equipment, or to have it repaired. Ive done both, and been elsewhere. I now only use them. Reliable and honest, good prices. Great people.
Very helpful. Had all the parts I needed in stock.
I got a new zero turn mower in June I had a small problem and they fix it and sent me on my way . The friendly people here are great. The service guys are awesome. If you need a new Toro mower they are the guys to see. I say 1st class people.
Everything you need for lawn and garden. I recommend for sure. All the high end stuff too.
Best place to shop always can bring your stuff back never have a problem with fixing something for free or if you need help they’ve always been there you can’t ask more from a shop then that that’s why they have been around so long!
Great place. Parts Dept. & Sales employees are the best! Great prices for quality products, parts and services. I go there for each. Have a part # and youre in and out! 5☆
Great customer service. After having a disappointing experience with Oklahoma Outdoor Power Equipment, I came here instead. They looked at my Briggs & Stratton carburetor, grabbed a rebuild kit from the drawer behind them, and it was exactly what I needed. Next time I know I will come here first.
Almost always my first stop when I need parts for my lawn equipment or need my mowers worked on.
My friend got his weed whacker repaired there and he was very happy I just drove
Delivering huge mowers wish they were in Texas. Bought cool sunglasses.
Bryan was awesome went over and beyond to help me with my chain saw problem. If your in the market for a new saw professional or residential go here and ask for Bryan he’s top notch Thank you!!!
Parts people were nice. Tried to help me match up a part for a mower they dont carry parts for. Didnt work out but at least they tried.
My little bride and I went there to have lunch. We enjoyed it 😊
Will not be shopping here any longer. Last several times Ive ordered parts they been incorrect. Brought my weed eater to them and they still couldnt get it correct. 3 trips later still couldnt get correct parts. Brian in service is great and had great buying experience when purchasing my mower and other equipment. I drove from nearly mannford because I used to like this place so well and recommend it to everyone.
Yes they carry good brands BUT I brought in a chainsaw chain to be sharpened and they did a horrible job. The teeth are blued with LARGE chunks missing off the cutting edge. It looks like their abrasive wheel did not have a clean surface and like the person went to fast. I do not recommend getting chainsaw chains sharpened here.
They service Stihl chainsaws here. I dropped mine off and received it in a reasonable amount of time. It works great now.
Very helpful. Great parts team. Nick was awesome.
Great people great services. Since they moved into the new building prices went up. And not seems like they charge more than everybody else
