This was my first time ordering from here and sadly my order was wrong! I ordered veggie nachos and they put meat on them. Alll over them too so I couldnt even pick it off. I only have a 30min lunch so I couldnt go back to get the correct meal. I called to confirm if I ordered from the right menu or maybe took someone else order and all they said was yes they have veggie nachos and sorry about that.. I got my money back from Postmates so thats good.The girl was nice at pickup, was ready reallly fast and it looked great so Ill give them another try.
The food is really good and the customer service is great. The prices are not bad same as most restaurants. I really love all there soups really really good and the tacos are great as well and the wet beef burrito was great especially with the sauce The put all over it! I would recommend it to anyone interested in Mexican food. I have only been there 3 times but will continue to go here from now on. I believe this is my favorite Mexican restaurant Im new to Washington state.
Best Mexican food around. I love their green salsa and because it’s not just a restaurant I can buy some for home along with their delicious chips. I honestly can say I could eat their green enchiladas with chicken every day it’s so good. I usually get two with beans and rice. Love this place so much. It has grown over the years and I’m glad they survived the pandemic and are able to keep a large space for their groceries as well as the full sized restaurant. They also serve ice cream now if you want a scoop or two for the road!Service is always good and friendly and the food comes fast. Margaritas are also delicious!

Stopped in for a beer. Couldnt resist ordering a tamale. From where I lived in Southern Arizona tamales were small, wrapped in a leaf, and basically a snack. This was a MEAL. Like, a good meal. For sure. But way more of a masa burrito than what I expected. Be a good thing to split with someone after a few margaritas to soak up some of that tequila.Love the small Bodega that shares the same space.
Authentic and delicious for the area. I like picking up the tamales for camping trips or for a quick snack at home. Good Mexican produce too!
Good food, big portions, friendly staff.For our first visit, we went during the crazy snowstorm right before Valentines Day 2021 because my husband was craving burritos and this was the only place open. I dont normally like new places because Im a very picky eater, but my only complaint was that the food was slightly too salty. Everything else was great!The service was fantastic and more than you could ask for during a mid-pandemic dinner rush with a side helping of blizzard. Our waitress was very sweet and we werent left wanting, not did we have to wait long for anything.Bonus points from me for having live houseplants that were thriving (dieffenbachia and pothos 😍).
I love this place so much - really brings me home to Houston, everything about it: the food, the decor & ambiance, the candy and other store items, friendly staff, little fresh meat & produce area... Its like Htowns Eastwood, here way up north.

My husband and I were staying in Tumwater for the weekend. We were in the mood for some authentic Mexican cuisine. We came across Ramirez and decided to try it out. We were not disappointed.I chose the wet burrito with chicken, which mind you is massive! Two people could split this. Depends on hungry you are and willing to share. The food itself was mouth watering and full of flavor. Definitely one of the top 5 best burritos Ive ever had.Next time you roll through Tumwater or just passing by. I recommend stopping by Ramirez Ramirez Mexican Store.
I love Ramirez!! They do it all the right way. They are friendly and helpful walking in, they have a great menu of very authentic food, and everything there, that I have tried, is absolutely delicious!!! The food comes up with little to no hot seasoning (picante).. if you want to fire it up, as for the habanero sauce.. make sure to put it on the side and add it in slowly, tasting along the way to make sure youre careful. It is a blast of fun!!!

The tacos were good, the place was crowded at 10:45am, but definitely a little annoyed by the misunderstanding of the order. Ordered 5 tacos, was annoyed that it seemed overpriced, got 7 tacos. Understand now I didn’t over pay, I just definitely reiterated 5 tacos right? So when your ordering, be super clear. Chicken taco was very bland, do not recommend chicken solely!

I order a carne asada burrito last week and it was mostly rice,bean, tomato, and lettuce burrito...there was hardly any meat and the little bit that was..... was tasteless, no flavor what so ever. Hot sauce had no flavor and was not spicy at all and also was expensive. This is the 3rd mexican restaurant here in Washington that lets me down. Alibertos was one of them. Never going back to either place. PS: only good item was the oaxaca sour cream.
The food is pretty good and reasonably priced. They made a mistake on our take-away order, they fixed it which required us to make another trip. We are ok.
Wort food ever . Came them for a SIMPLE TACO THEY DONT KNOW WHAT A TACO IS! Could not get hard or soft TACO. Then they served me silver dollar sized fake street tacos with a slap of burnt hamburger and oinions Horrifying. Drinks good the man in red shirt is good that works there girls snotty. Uggggg
Ramirez is both a Mexican store, where they also sell tamales they make, and a restaurant. Very low key and casual. They have recently expanded, so we decided to see if they were still as good as before. We were quickly seated and brought chips and salsa. My wife ordered the 2 Sopas Platter both with Chicken. I ordered the Carnitas Platter. Our food came out soon and then our waiter became very busy and was unable to get to us for a long while. He eventually did and gave us our bill that we paid at the register. The food was very good, just like before, but I dont think they have enough server staff for the larger place. We will still come back.
It was pretty slow the last time I went. We had to wait for our server several times with waiting for the check taking the longest. Even after he asked us if he wanted anything else, we had to wait for over 10 minutes, it wasnt until we stood up to try and get someone elses attention that he remembered us. Food is good and its def affordable so if youre not in a rush, stop on over.
When it comes to good authentic Mexican food in the northwest this place nails it. The entire atmosphere is great with a Mercado (market for my English only people lol) and restaurant in one location. You can shop for real Hispanic ingredients including meats for you home cooking! Or sit down and have them make you your favorite dish. Im a Carne Asada steak medium well and extra tortillas Mann is that not a great meal! Anyway there are 3 of their restaurants in the area yes that means success. The other item there that will change your life is the breakfast burritos chorizo to be specific. Sit down and try it .... You are welcome.. Im proud of you lol. If you havent eaten there do try it. It will enlighten you and your path will be clear ya its that good. OK carry on, oh and stop in and try it. Yum yum yum.

Never disappointed! From a Hispanic family that grew up in Cali, this is as close to food from home as Ive had anywhere around. The the tamales have a thick Masa, they are flavorful and moist. All of the food Ive had has been very good. Very authentic. The staff are always pleasant and friendly and if Im ever looking for something theyre always quick to assist. Located in a small stop mall, big flavors for such a little place! The burrito and we burrito are big, I never finish them at the restaurant. Its also one of the very free places that have a great selection of authentic Mexican food items to buy in the store that is also located in the restaurant. You can buy any of the sauces they have as well as pre made tamales and Masa if you want to make your own. Happy feasting!!

This small family owned butcher/store/restaurant/bar serves the best Mexican food Ive ever experienced. I grew up in Olympia and have traveled around the world, but I still come home just for this food. Try the prepared fajita meat from the butcher. Exquisite for a barbecue, party or just an easy dinner. Of course, their restaurant menu is packed with yummy, fresh and authentic cuisine. I wish I could give Ramirez 10 stars.
They had great food as always. Im not a coffee drinker but my wife is, she LOVED their coffee, strong with no bitter after taste.

This place has food that tastes amazing but buyer beware! We ordered two birria burritos from them tonight and had them delivered through door dash. When I reached the end of my burrito I found a one inch chunk of jagged glass buried in the birria. I was super concerned that there might be more broken glass in the birria there at the restaurant that might get served to someone else so I called them immediately. The on site manager talked to me for about 30 seconds, asked if I was sure and then immediately hung up on me. BEWARE YOU MIGHT BE EATING GLASS.EDIT: my partner who is a Chef just looked at it a bit harder and says that the shard is a broken piece of a lexan Cambro food container. To a layman the piece feels like glass and sounds like glass when tapped on ceramic or stone.

Kinda expensive in store. Chicken fajitas in deli cook up great at hm and are fabulous! There is a secret to cooking it- ask what you should put in the pan to fry it!Real Mexican.
Thoroughly disappointed. First visit. Last visit. Staff was friendly. But what I received for $35 was not up to par. My quesotacos were not crisp, nor was there any cheese. The tortillas were soft and unfried, and had fully soaked up all the grease of the meat; thus making them soggy. The carne asada was over cooked, and I received none of the items that accompany carne asada. No grilled jalapeños, no green onion.....just a bed of soggy lettuce. I was really excited to try this place too. 😔
Great Tamales! Buy some salsa to go with them. We went in for our Christmas Eve chili making supplies and were impressed with the selection of chilis.

Having only been in Olympia for two months I have been sampling a few places and since I moved from Texas I have been on the look out for a good Mexican place. Omg the tamales were huge. Bigger than I thought. My mom had the chicken molé and she was not disappointed. Even better she was impressed that it was not on the bone like someplaces we have been to in San Antonio. Definitely going back.

After being sick off their food for 5 days (dont eat the Quesodip nachos as whatever cheeselike curdled substance they put on it is tasteless, gross and I was sick for 5 days from two bites!) No offer of a refund from them or Uber eats. Ive left several reviews which get removed and have never been responded to. Ive heard about real authentic homemade food but what I got was horrible and with no response or offer to make it right I will never go back. This is after I went to eat at the restaurant and ended up just leaving because of the lack of service.
A bit expensive but a unique mexican food style worth trying out. I have to say though I dont really like the chips here dispite them probably being more authentic.
Current pricing is on their website. Google menu is incorrect.I found this out when ordering and received a bill 12 dollars higher than expected. My order was also missing one item. When I went back to discuss pricing and my order, not only did they fill my order but added an extra desert for my trouble. GREAT SERVICE. When I brought up the pricing discrepancy they said it was wrong on google and they have not been able to change it without a large fee. She calculated the difference in cost and promptly refunded me the difference.The food flavors were great. Tamales were heavy on the masa for my liking and the chicken fajita was pretty oily and my taco had a large piece of gristle in it. Apart from these the flavors and taste were great and service was fast. Will look to try them again.

Ive lived in the Southwest for 32 years and recently moved here. Ive been to Mexico multiple times.So when I say that their churros are the best Ive ever had in 32 years of constantly eating Mexican food, believe me.Their churros are the ideal perfection of what a churro should be: hot, crispy outside, gooey perfect inside, the exact blend of cinnamon and sugar dusting.Their entrees are also excellent.And all the great food you can buy for home as well!Their staff are superb and kind.

Had a variety of dishes. I would have liked if the pictures in the menu were numbered with the list and description of the selection so that you knew what you were getting. Some of the pictures looked amazing but we didnt know what they were. Overall the food was delicious and the service was so on point. Would recommend to anyone!

It was ok, but for the 4.4 star rating it currently has i was expecting better. Ordered a tamale and a chimichanga. The tamale was the most disappointing. While the masa was good it was like pure masa with sauce. I maybe got an ounce of meat also disappointed because what I ordered should have been served with a green sauce but I got red and didnt check my order. The chimichanga again edible but Ive definitely had better.. the sour cream i was served on the side was gross and tasted like it was watered down or something. The best thing that this place has going for it is that you get a decent portion for a decent price.

You never really think juicy tamale. But what a surprise when I got tamales here they where juicy inside. Unexplainable really they are thick nice size. And you just got to try them. I got pork and I dont normally even like pork. But this tamale has me thinking I do like pork again. Lol.

Amazing, authentic Hispanic store AND restaurant. Great price. They had my highly sought after sofrito! I couldnt find it anywhere down south. And be sure to try some of their $1.99 per dozen fresh corn tortillas! Theyre so good.

You know all the hype youve heard about this place? True. Theres a generous selection of groceries and fresh foods, including meats, cheeses, salsas, tamales, and desserts. Theres also a casual dining area for the fantastic hot meals they sell. They also have a full dining room and bar, which makes this a great option for a casual dinner with drinks. Well worth a visit whenever Im in the area.
