The worst place you specially if you won a bid for a storage unit becarful a lot of scammers used this place to sell their bad stuff with high prices and they are officially scammers Joye Burton one of them he knows the manager of facilitie very well and they can scammed you easily write and video every thing there!!!

Bait and switch. Was told one thing that caused extreme hardship and financial loss. Double the rates in less than two monthes. They had a key and repeatedly enter the unit.

Best storage, nicest staff, cleanest place Ive rented from. Been using for almost 2 years in multiple units and never once had a problem or seen any thing out of place. I highly recommend this for your storage needs. Also has a few spots for RVs and boats.

I had a storage unit here for 5+ years! The management Louis Keehn, is absolutely amazing, so are all of the employees including Mrs. Vicky and Mr. Logan as well!

You can tell that the people running the front are on drugs just by their actions and the way they hold their selves they are not very nice ... Wish better people would run it so it would look and become a better place to want to keep your belongings there

On Guard had a space when I really needed one and the rental process was very simple and quick. The rent is pro-rated to pay just for how many days you are using that month when you move in and up to the 18th day of the month to pro rate moving out. Nice people and very helpful.

OnGuard in Tumwater provides safe and secure storage. Someone is usually there if there are problems. It is a good choice for storage.

My family arrived to Olympia about 3 weeks ago. We came here with only some of our belongings and left the rest back home in a large new state of the art storage facility with inside climate controlled storage and cameras inside scanning each hallway. It does cost a bit more about 10-15% but it is worth it to not have your stuff stolen. We planned to have our things shipped after we were permanently settled here. We are staying with a friend & did not want to clutter up his home. For now, we decided to get a small storage for our extra belongings. We got a small storage unit at On Guard Storage Facility located at 6000 Linderson. My husband went to storage on Sat.Sep 25th at approx. 6 pm Everything was fine. On Monday Sep 27th, he returned to drop off a large cooler and get some paperwork & found our unit with the lock missing. The latch had been cut thru to remove the lock. Looking at it now, It is obvious that the latches on the units have areas that are very thin and can be easily cut through to simply remove the lock & get access to the unit. They stole basically everything of value. They stole our families belongings to include many of my childrens things. Stolen was my sons PS3 system, PSP, Kustom Guitar Amplifier, Archos MP3 Player, Iluv Stereo with charging dock & Speakers, Portable Clock with MP3 dock/charger, 3 Coach purses/totes - 2 brand new with tags and one barely used a couple of times. About $2000 in value. He found out that 10 other units were also broken into. This should not have occurred. The facility actually has a gate that requires a key code to get in. The gates are all locked at 10 pm but the fence can be jumped or anytime before 10pm a car can tail gate through the gate to get in. They advertise that they have camera security but after the robbery they said that it was just of the office and gate. Also, the way that the units are designed must make it easy for the thieves to get access. Many of the smaller units have an outer door that is unlocked & you enter that door to a corridor that houses about 3-4 other units. U can close the door behind you so that you have privacy & no one can see what you are doing inside. Its really not a good system at all especially since there is no cameras recording any of the activity down the roads or in the corridors. I found out that this area of Tumwater is not a safe area and the police are often called to this area. The police dept is short staffed and there regularly only 4 officers on duty in this city. We closed our unit out that day. The mgmt.at On Guard will not reimburse us for the loss because I did not get their insurance. Funny, because I was never offered the insurance. I did not initial the box next to the no insurance. When the manager gave me the completed lease form to sign at the bottom, the box for no insurance was already checked. I really should have inquired about why it was checked but I just thought that they did not offer it at this place. Makes me wonder why he did this? We saw evidence that many of the units had an image of a latch that had been removed before and a new same style latch was put back on. If this same type of break in occurred as I think that it has according to evidence and statements that I received and they did nothing to change out these latches then they are negligent, as they knew the latches were flimsy. They need to do that, film each aisle and lock the outer storage door allowing only those people with a unit inside that area to have the key or code. Something should be done or It will happen again and probably very soon. I would not use this facility ever again nor would I use any other On Guard Storage facility that has the same flimsly latches or cameras that aim at the office & gates.
