Can’t shop without being asked “finding everything okay” by multiple (5) ulta employees in the 30 minutes I was there, it’s very annoying. If I need help I’ll ask. One time is good enough. Recommend online then in store. The experience is better.

I have been to this store many times before. The employees are nice. And helpful. Today I was approached by Maricela. She was extremely helpful, helped me look at some hair products and face creams. I really felt like she listened,and helped me get the best possible products.She was amazing and had a great customer service! Thank you Maricela!

So disappointed with this store.It’s expensive enough, so when is the people keep them afloat the least they can do is be helpful. I do a curb side pick up order due to C19 and I am short an item and the useless manager named Amanda (if that’s her real name since she hesitated) was unable to assist me saying they can’t do anything about it. Seriously??? She was extremely unhelpful and now I get why hear so many complaints about this particular store. Over it and done with them for sure!

I don’t know why people who work in this industry have to treat you like they are better than you. Makeup will not make you more beautiful if you have an ugly heart. I just never get the warm and fuzzies when I go to Ulta. I’m not sure why the make up is so expensive either. I’ve been into two Ulta’s and they were both the same. Not once did anyone ask if I needed any help. I was “just another customer”. I’ll continue to buy my makeup from other businesses that value their customers.

This location has a few things that detract from the chains otherwise great offering. It is crowded, the check out line is always long and you arent usually approached by an employee, so customer service is meh. This location is about 1/3 smaller than many locations, so selection is not as good.

I honestly go in to Ulta as little as possible, for the simple reason that normally the women in this store are unfriendly and help as little as possible (those are my experiences.) Today a woman named Jackie changed my perspective on the whole company!! I am about to get married in a couple of weeks and was expressing to her how I am not confident with my ability to do my brows and she sat there and helped me until I felt like I had a better understanding. She was overly nice in a time when I just needed a friend. Thank you Jackie for your patience and great customer service!-Bobbie

Was actually my first time. Its a beautiful store. My girl o think her name was Ruby I hope so anyways. Was excellent so helpful and knowledgeable. And I learned a few things from her about skincare. Such a cute girl. I will return.

This place has absolutely everything for beauty. My best find was root powder. Its pressed powder in the color of your hair and you brush it on to cover your roots in between color. Who knew they made such a thing?

I love this store. Everything I could every need for my hair and makeup is here. If its not in store it can be ordered in just a day. I love walking in here. With or without makeup. The ladies that work here are amazing. They make you feel gorgeous just as you are. They are always willing to help you find just what you need.

This place has EVERYTHING a girl could possibly be need. I find the prices reasonable. The sales associates are readily available if you need them. The staff at this location have remarkable customer service skills.

Great selection. Always have a coupon avaliable for something. Just wish more staff would be more knowledgeable about specific brands rather then just trying to sell something they themselves have never tried.i dont like when the stylist recommends the same thing to everyone . Its less sincere and not helpful . Especially when people spend so much money there they should hire people who will be more updated and knowledgeable about products when they are asked for recommendations.

I would give this place a zero star if I could so I guess one only because at checker at the register was nice.should have got her name.but you walk in and they automatically assume you going to steal something and if ask questions the girls I the back look at you with very uneasy feeling. Store it self inside but girls walking around with fake lashes and bucket of makeup and think they can look at customers with nose up high. I laugh frankly but these young girls .should hire more friendly faces not really look into the staff walking around like they r stocking but just stuck up! I usually go in for perfume, hair brushes,hair products and so forth but I think next time I will try different ulta store rather than the one in turlock. No good staff in the back with fake lashes and whole lot of makeup and very ugly personality.

Customer service is great here at this location. They have a pretty clean store. Only bad thing I can say is, they are out of a lot of products all the time.

I was incredibly impressed with the staff, ready to help with any little thing you need. A bit pricey, but thats expected with high quality products. The only disappointment was being out of James Charles pallets, for shame! 🤪

I have been coming to this place for about 3 years to get my hair cut. Ive always get a friendly greeting and happy smile from the ladies. They are very awesome people. Elvira is the young lady that I get my hair cut from and every time Im there always offer coffee or water. Its great to see customer service that way.

Love this place. Has all my make and hair product needs. Plus you get points on everything you buy. Points can be used to purchase products after you have accumulated enough. Awesome

As usual Ulta employees are loud and rude. Ulta has a lot of rules regarding their reward points and as always they were out of the free gift with purchase. I shop here so I dont have to go to Modesto Mall not for the experience.

Need more products for the customers who cant afford

I have been going to Mariah for the past few years. I have followed her to this location, i never knew that they had a little hair salon area in the back. The salons are super cute and look very clean and organized. My hair dresser always does a great job. She has been doing my cuts and colors for the past two years or so. I recommend making an appointment with her! The rest of the staff seem friendly enough

Love the products, but compared to other Ultas the customer service is lacking.

My last shopping experience was not the greatest. I noticed that they stopped carrying several brands, like Rimmel, that I would occasionally buy from. I needed help finding a new translucent powder, and the person I asked recommended only one brand, and didnt know much about others. She must have worked for them. They were also out of another product I wanted. So I may stick to buying online.

I made a salon appointment online which did not show up in their system and neither did my Ulta rewards number. The staff told me they have these problems with the system which makes me wonder why they dont fix it or get rid of it.As far as the products, the prices are okay but I can usually get things cheaper at Target if they carry them and at times the store can get a little messy.

Ceci did my eyebrows at the Benefit Brow Bar. She did absolutely fantastic work. Ive never been so happy with my brows. She did exactly what I asked. It was my first time going there and definitely not my last. Found a new brow place. Worth every penny.

Ulta the store is great, but I don’t recommend the salon. First of all I went 3 times with one stylist who “claimed” she could do my hair. Each time costing 200 and up. Yet it never turned out anywhere near like I wanted. Finally she admitted she couldn’t do it. Set me up with a different stylist.. after waiting a month, I get there this morning and they booked over my appointment! Claiming I canceled. When I told them that they confirmed and why would I show up if I canceled.. they back peddling said I see it was confirmed.. basically trying to cover up their mistake. Then they realize I caught then in a lie... bad business

For one they never have enough people on register. Theres always a long line and one person on register. Second thing is they take too long to ring people up. If theres a line of people you dont stand there and chit chat for ten minutes with every person. Third thing is the store is always a mess and you can never figure out the prices for anything. If theres so many people on the floor and not the register why isnt it clean? Lastly I will say I love shopping online with them and I love their return policy. So its not all bad. But every time I go into this location im not happy with the service.

Like a kid in the candy store

Elvira cut and did a blowout on my hair.. She has magic hands!! My hair came out perfect!! She’s a sweetheart and made sure to explain all she was doing and let me know each of the products she used in my hair. Then I had questions regarding my eyebrows and Jacqueline at the Benefits Brow Bar talked to me and helped me in every way she could.. kudos to both ladies.. I have never felt so welcomed into Ulta until today.. thank you ladies for all your help!!

The people in this store are such snobs! I live in Turlock and I hate going in there so much I usually order online to keep from going in there. I’m I guess middle aged and i want to feel pretty still and they treat me like I should give up.

I really liked this place, Im not really the type to like makeup places but they really helped me out. The Clinique boutique makeup personal are extreamly amazing and took the time to explain every product I was looking for to me.

First I try to purchase Ulta products to get my free gift and they said oh we no longer have the gift set because its discontinued. Bad products. Then I wanted to use a 20% coupon we get mailed to us and they said oh Im sorry but we cant apply this coupon with the product you are purchasing. 🤬😠😡🤬 What a way to get us to come to ULTA!

Seems like every time I go here for something particular they are either out of it or I find only one or the last one is opened or damaged. I also dont understand how you can justify having 10 or more people in line and not get more cashiers up front to help! Advertised items run out too quickly, so hey, heres an idea, ORDER MORE FOR THE SALE!!! Its a lousy racket to lure people in on the pretense that youll have at least 70% of your advertised items in stock, to then say only have 1% in stock! It is better to order online from them, but hate waiting and paying shipping. Ulta doesnt understand how retail works, I guess.
