Do not use. They don’t communicate, charged for fuel, returned trimmer empty. Poor customer service. Will not be using this company in the future. Employees not willing to provide top notch service, ready to punch the clock at 5 when repairs are over 3 weeks out. Obviously it starts at the top. Hire more people or pay your employees to provide service.

This was Sunday, Aug 30th after starting the claim Aug.4th:Hello Doug,Thank you for contacting me about this matter and letting me know how you feel.It is my understanding that you bought this product from Amazon (side note:it was Walmart), a Snapper product that Husqvarna is the distributor for. We, Advanced Power Equipment (APE) are a warranty dealer for Husqvarna so they recommended us to handle your claim, as we handle Husqvarna warranty claims on a daily basis. You then came to APE and spoke with our General Manager Moe & a Co-owner Brett, stated in your email, on August 4th. Moe called APEs area Husqvara rep on the phone who stated that the product has a defect and they did not have a part to replace it. Our rep suggested APE pays you for the product, a product we do not carry, to be reimbursed by Husqvarna. APE would need to file a warranty claim to receive the reimbursement. It is also my understanding that Brett offered to give you a store credit that day in exchange you buy a similar product from our store using the credit, which was declined. Moe stated to you on August 4th that our protocol for warranty is to file a claim first. This is the protocol for ALL warranties that we handle, especially for a product that APE did not sell to a consumer. The next conversation, after August 4th, is you letting Moe know it is okay to mail the check to you, which he had offered the money to be electronically sent and you declined. I then mailed a check to you for the amount of $139.64 to 138 Old Gate Path, Holly Lake Ranch 75765 on Friday August 21st.Advanced Power Equipment handles many service warranties for box store customers and we do our very best to make the box store customer happy. This however is the very first time we have been asked to reimburse for a product bought from Amazon and not purchased or received money at Advanced Power Equipment.As a consumer myself I know how frustrating it can be to have a defective product sold to me. I can not imagine anyone being happy about dealing with multiple companies to have your issue taken care of. I apologize our protocols were not handled in the time frame of your expectations, but am fully confident and very proud, APE handled it to the best of their ability with all parties. As stated above I have already mailed out a check to you and apologize that USPS has not delivered it to you yet. I will take the time tomorrow to call my bank, pay a fee to have that check cancelled, and reissue you another so you may pick it up Tuesday.This was today at end of business, Aug 31st:Dear Doug:As I stated in my 1st email I would be contacting Amazon & Husqvarna. Amazon informed me today that all refunds are to go through them and they would assist you in receiving a return. Since the product was not one sold by us through Amazon I was not to give any type of return, it has to go through their procedures. (side note: I purchased this thru Walmart and all claims are processed by Husqvarna/Snapper Dealers)Your merchandise bought from amazon will be waiting by the front door for you to pick up tomorrow. We are open from 8-5. There will not be a check for you to pick up, the check mailed to you and warranty claim filed have both been cancelled already.I am grateful that our employees took time out of their day to help assist a non customer of ours. I apologize that we are not allowed to assist you any further. Did they process the claim at all? Did they receive money from Husqvarna/Snapper and just did not pay me? Why did the owner, Melanie Johnson, say on 3 separate occasions that she had mailed the check?Sep 1st - still no check and now Melanie is cancelling my valid warranty claim! Have to start all over.....UPDATE: Sep. 4th went to Husqvarna Dealer in Gilmer. They called Customer Support, filed my Claim, and one week later picked up a NEW Husqvarna 115 battery Weed wacker! Now thats customer service!!!
Not as good of a experience as I hoped.I had recently purchased a hypertough push mower a little while back from Walmart. Only used it 4 times. I had a hard time starting it. I seemed to have a hard time with the pull cord. So I contacted hypertough customer service and they told me to take it to a Briggs and Stratton dealer to see of it was covered under warranty. So I found Advanced Power Equipment. I contacted them through Facebook . And they said they dont fix things covered under warranty unless they sell it. Then they responded back again and told me they were told to take care of the customer and bring it in. Then I took it in and I was told it would not cost anything if it was covered under warranty and they usually waive the diagnostic fee. If it was not covered under warranty They would call me first before they proceed to fix it. So I made sure that its no charge if its not covered under warranty and asked them to call me and I would decide if I wanted them to fix it or not. If so I would pay the cost. I even made sure they said they usually waive the diagnostic fee. They said they would call me first. And I was assured that this was correct.So 3 weeks later I got a text saying it was ready for pickup. They told me up front that they were backed up for 4 weeks. So I figured it was probably a problem covered under warranty. I went in and they said I owed around $93 for the repair and labor since it was not covered under warranty. I told them at first I wasnt paying it . Cause I was misled. I was never called and asked if I agreed for them to fix anything not covered under warranty. I was told they dont work for free. I understand I said but you should be clear about the diagnostic fee if its usually charged or if theres some fee up front regardless not tell someone its usually waived to look at it. There Should have been more Clear communication . They said they would let me pay around $42 which was the minimum charge for what was fixed. I was going to leave my mower. But decided to just pay and take it back.I payed only $168 for the mower when I bought it from Walmart . I just think I could have been treated better. Or they could have followed my directions and should have called me before fixing it. And should have told me up front that it would cost money to look at it whether its covered under warranty or not.

Last year I bought a zero turn lawn mower, a commercial blower and a upper end chain saw from this business. Used the chain saw one time now it wont start and Im getting the run-around from this business. You would think I would get better service after buying so much from them. I live in Kansas and buy from a Husqvarna dealer from up there and have excellent service. Guess I should have bought these items from them also. This saw was on sell and the business was trying to reduce the stock of these. Come to find out it has a micro chip in it and their service department doesnt even have the software to look and see what is wrong with the saw. Poor customer service at its best.
Had some parts in stock I wouldnt of expected a place to have on hand (instead of well get it on order and call u in x days type thing), but what really stood out was the great service. The guy was very helpful on the phone and made it obvious he was trying to help and not get me off the phone as fast as possible like some places. The prices were reasonable, they had a clean, moderately stocked showroom, and knowledgeable staff. Best place in Tyler for mower and power equipment sales, services, and parts IMO
The employees there are very friendly very helpful very personable and very helpful great sense of humor and Dave barbecue meals at lunchtime a lot of the days of the week and they invite the public to come in and eat good BBQ they make its for their personal lunches but they always make enough to share and sometime they make more than enough and they let their customers know. They advertise The Smokers that they use the seasoning that they use they have generators and Lawn Equipment I like these guys they make you feel special when I called there they know who I am without even telling them my name
They are the best. I bought a new husqvarna 460 chainsaw on line, not even from them. I had nothing but trouble with it from the start. I took it to another husqvarna dealer in tyler 3 times and they kept saying there was nothing wrong with it. As the last try I took it to them,they worked on it and sent it back to the husqvarna factory,and it was replaced with a newone. This is my 3rd husqvarna chainsaw in 30 years and I have never had any problems with them. Thanks again.

I wish I could write a better review of this place. I purchased a mower from them a couple years ago and there was no problem with the actual purchase. After the sale, however, I could not get them to help me with anything.I needed an hitch for my mower, they stated that they would order it for me. They never called me. So, the first time I called, he said there was a problem with the first order (sure, sure) and they would reorder. After that, I was just sent to voicemail whenever I called. I had a question about my mower. I called, sent to voicemail.So, in conclusion, if you just need a mower at the same price as anywhere else, this is the place for you. If you want service after the sale, I would look elsewhere.
My sister bought a 1400 dollar go cart. It did not work. She went to get a refund. They said there was a 30% restocking fee thats 420 dollars for a product that doesnt work. ( I went in uniform from work to ask about this. Was kicked out. And employee called a complaint on me at my job) I will not be recommending. This place to anyone ever. And will let them know why)

My husband and I were so pleased with this company!! We were told that the turn around on fixing our lawn mower would be a week and it only took 6 days. They were so prompt that we were shocked. They will definitely have our business in the future!

I really would like to have a good comment on this place but based on my experience with them I can only say that they are very careful when buying anything here, the first management if they knew how to do business, but it is new management once you bought something, I wish And do not fail because there is no guarantee, much less money back, regardless of whether the product does not fulfill its function.Careful!!!
