This hidden lack of integrity needs to be public because the integrity of companies in private WILL reflect the quality of their service to you. I recommend running from them! Simply because you never know what issues may arise on your project that their lack of *private integrity* will cost you big time and youd never even know it. The quality of a company depends on how they treat people without anyone knowing and they failed big time!
