This is an excellent place with good quality produce. They showed me and my wife the best courtesy. We tried their ribs, cheese, lunchmeat and other items. It was all delicious. We will be returning very soon. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!!

Holy cow! (No pun intended) I went in to Country Meat Market because I heard they make a bomb breakfast sandwich and they did not disappoint! As expected I got my bomb breakfast sandwich but what I didn’t expect was to be completely blown away by such a great experience! The staff was so very friendly and patient as I asked a million questions! The lady working the front was incredibly generous with letting me sample a bit of everything and now after scrolling through their Facebook it seems like they are generous in many ways with their Touchdown Tuesday’s and Super Sampler Saturday’s 😱I ended up leaving with my breakfast sandwich, some divine bacon links, and a happy heart knowing I discovered a new (to me) business with great people and great products!

First time going in this place and it was well more than what I expected. Great friendly service and amazing products. Everyone was so kind they even threw in a complimentary 1 lb deal of breakfast sausage for being a first-timer I highly recommend you trying it if you never have.

What an amazing experience I just had today! From the moment we walked in the door, nothing but the best service and smiles everywhere! We were able to sample, and received the lay of the land on all the meat products, including how the animals are raised. Absolutely delicious! This is a hidden gem for sure! Highly recommended to everyone. 😃

Think small town mom + pop grocery style. A little busy/cramped at times but plenty of outdoor space, fairly quick, always friendly, GREAT PRODUCTS, REASONABLE PRICES, attention to detail, and they always have a variety of other items for sale like honey, rubs, seasonings, jams, preserves, etc. I’ve used them several times now and they have been very consistent. They are pretty much the only place I go to for my butcher needs.

Stopped by today after passing by for years it took about 3 seconds to be greeted and as soon as I mentioned that this was me and the wifes first time in hands were out to be shaked and welcomed ....the staff was simply wonderful and knowledgeable and we ended up making our own freezer pack kinda mix and matched and even added fresh salmon. The meat was double wrapped and freezer ready honestly I cant say enough about the professionalism and quality of service and I can guarantee that well be back

I came in for the first time last week and bought the most delicious New York strip steak. I am a customer for life now! The meat is so good. They also have fresh produce and pickles and the peach mango habanero ice cream is AMAZING. And the service is phenomenal; they really go the the extra mile in treating their customers like family!

The meat here is simply phenomenal! I stopped by to get some sausages, and I left with bacon and chicken as well. You can easily see and taste the difference in quality. I made these cheese stuffed chicken breasts wrapped in bacon!

The absolute best all around real old school BUTCHER SHOP!!! You name it and they have it! And that includes delicious homemade ice cream! Customer service to the nines!

Melt in your mouth rib eye dinner! This is a real butcher shop... no vacuum packs, you are shown the the whole rib roast to cut from. We took home a freezer pack also. Worth the drive, the money and great people. Thank you all! We will be a regular.

Was traveling through Tyler from Dallas and heard I needed to stop by the Country Meat Market. Was so nice to see a traditional hometown meat market still serving their community in the truest sense. Staff was very nice and would check in on you while you were standing in line to order. I even saw staff helping carry customers bags to their cars! Totally impressed!

The ribeyes, bacon, corned beef and ground steak were all delicious. I was surprised by the presentation of meats, but was happy to have it as it was very informative. The entire staff was exceptionally friendly and with all of the samples that were made available, they are very proud of the product they provide (as they should be). Ill definitely be back as this is now my go to butcher.

My husband and I just visited here for a second time and they have now gained customers for life. They have an amazing selection and everything Ive gotten from here has been top quality and so tasty! Also, the friendly customer service is unbeatable. Check out their Super Sample Saturdays. They offer a huge selection of things to try before you buy. Also like and follow on Facebook to see what new and limited time products they have.

We stopped here for my birthday and they really rolled out the red carpet. It was our first time and we were lucky enough to catch them right before a bunch of people came in. We tried and bought a little of everything, even the ice cream, its all amazing! We were here for a vacation but will stop by whenever were even kinda close with an ice chest. The people really made it memorable. Love it.

Ive always had a great experience here. The ribeyes are fantastic! I use to love your potatoe salad but never again. I order 2.5lbs last week for our anniversary dinner. We were so disappointed. Taste was horrible and there was broccoli in potato salad. Ugh! We took one bit each just to try it and throw the pan away. It was a waste of money for us. Very disappointed!Update (8/27/2020) The owner brought us rib eyes, our money back for the potato salad and a promise to redo the potato salad, I will be picking up today. They did everything to correct this order. We greatly appreciate your excellent customer service.

We received a gift certificate and loaded up on steaks, burgers, etc. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Was able to sample some of the sausage. Can’t wait to dive in!

My wife called first to confirm how there pricing is on bundle packs.It was wrong so paid way more than expected. We live in Ore City so took over a hour to get there but didnt mind the drive as long as we got good meat. After going back in 4 times about price we finally left with our meat. The hamburger was good. The chicken was slimy and smelled rotten. Both packages. After overnite thaw. The same with 2 sirloins over nite thaw. Will not be buying meat here again.

Best meat place ever ! I’m visiting from Ohio and stopped by with my mother in law and they were beyond sweet! Seriously have the charming Texas hospitality ! Very friendly and offered us to take the products to the car and let us try lots of samples. The meat was so delicious I could seriously eat it every single day.

OH MY! Thats the best way to start this review. Ive known Steve Morriss through the entertainment business in Nashville for many years and have heard him rave about the Country Meat Market for as long. My reaction was kind of like, yeah, yeah Steve, can it really be THAT good? My wife and I are here to tell you, its way better than anything Steve said! Were not big steak eaters, but the filets (which I grilled like Steve said) were fork-tender and beyond delicious. We also ordered some fish, chicken and hamburger. My wife took one bite of her burger, dropped her head, shook it side to side and said simply, this is so good. The chicken far superior to anything in the grocery store here, and the fish tasted like it was caught this morning. Were not only customers for life, were shouting it to the world!

The employees are very helpful and courteous. As I was looking at the produce outside an employee came out eager to assist me. The other employees were just as friendly and helpful. They open doors and carry your food out to the car. I will definitely be coming back soon. It was well worth the price i paid

Great selection of Meats. She was hand cutting some Ribeyes while we there. We were looking for some good Bacon, they have beef and pork bacon and samples. A real pleasing environment and experience. Long time customers.

Quality butcher located in Tyler! They have a great selection of meats, cold cuts and other assorted products. The prices arent unrealistic and the meats are beautiful. Everyone that works there are amazing, helpful and accommodating. Im originally from NY where butcher shops are readily available. Its good to know theres a great butcher here in East Texas!

If you want to see your steaks cut, visit this meat market. Local groceries stores rarely have real butchers plus they use meat glue on cuts of meat & pink goo in ground. You never have to worry about what you are getting at this meat market. Yes, more pricey yet you are what you eat.

I rarely write reviews but I have to put in a word for Country Meat Market. Steve, one of the owners met me a the door and was so friendly and helpful. He personally made sure we were taken care of. Very hands on. Impressed. The Brisket is absolutely unbelievable. Links, ribs, cheeses, dips, candies, chops, wings, steak fingers, and bacon that is to die for. Oh and homemade ice cream. The entire staff was so helpful it was like talking to family. That is no hyperbole. They treated us like we were family over for a great meal. The meat quality....off the charts good. I just cant say enough kind things about this family owned business. The pride they show in their meats and their craft is so refreshing in a world of discount big box stores. To say they have earned a customer would be a gross understatement.

Its Christmas Eve, 2017 and we realize our Christmas dinner plans are not going to work. So we call Country Meats, on a Sunday. I let it ring a few times and realized its Sunday theyre not open. So I hang up. Less than a minute later they call me back. They are there AND willing to cut some steaks for us so we can have a special Christmas dinner. I challenge you to find better meat cheese, sausage or better customer service anywhere in the world. Thank you Country Meats!

Great place !!!! Me and my wife seen this establishment on google maps. We drive 18 wheelers and decided to bobtail to this awesome meet market. Went inside with my wife and we were treated well, very well. Made our selection, paid and were on our way. A older nice, freindly gentlemen greeted our goodbye, offering a great gesture to walk our purchase out. We walk out with him, briefly spoke and friendly goodbye. I would recomend this fine meat market to anyone great job.

I wish I was better at names I would like to thank everyone we met this morning and call them out by name. They really made us feel welcome not only to their business but to the area. Also, Im glad we hadnt eaten breakfast before arriving the samples just kept coming, brisket, sausage (both breakfast and links) bacon, Ice cream, and the most amazing chili.We cooked some of the ground beef we bought today, and I can tell you there is a difference in ground beef. Customer service is A plus. Tried some simple sausage that was on point. Place got busy but they still took time to help everyone. Meat is beyond anything at chain store. Once you eat meat this good. You will never want to buy that other meat from big boxes stores.

Be sure to go hungry: Youre gonna eat. Then, as if that werent enough and you thought maybe youd stepped into the Twilight Zone, be prepared for some of the best meat you have ever tasted. The steaks we had tonight were absolutely heavenly!! Ive been coast-to-coast, folks, and Im a serious meat eater. I will not shop anywhere else for meat ever again. Wonderful selection, including freezer packages - you can even put one together of what you want if theres not a package you like. Fantastic quality of meat!

1st time going in this place my husband and I was greeted with the upmost perfect customer service I have EVER seen, not only that the staff all sang my husband happy birthday and gave us a gift of jalepeno sausages for his birthday. Took a beautiful Axis deer in to be processed. Told them (and its on receipt)to cut tenderloin and backstraps into 2 inch steaks. They cut it all into smaller and tenderized when I told them not to. They did not follow directions. On top of that it took them just over 3 weeks to processe. Very good customer service and good beef.Received a Very nice phone call from manager today. They apologized and are making it right. Very unexpected and appreciated. Customer service is awesome.
