We have enjoyed working with Inside Out for several years! We recommend them to all our clients.
GREAT PEOPLE TO WORK WITH! CANT GO WRONG CHOOSING INSIDE OUT Living Spaces!!! Highly recommend!LC
Building a house in the middle of a pandemic has been a comedy of errors; but let me tell yall- Katlyn at Inside Out has been a beacon of hope during this process. The slabs I had originally chosen for my home were accidentally used on another house (old owners/mgmt). Katlyn stepped up to the challenge and asked me to give her a couple of days. Not going to lie, I had my doubts but SHE MORE THAN DELIVERED. Communication has been stellar, and I am beyond stoked that this island will be the focal point of a large combined gathering area. Thank you so much beyond these words, ladies!!
Their customer service is amazing! I explained to her the type of pendant light we were looking for and she pulled something up on the computer and it was PERFECT! They arrived on time and look beautiful in the kitchen!
We remodeled our kitchen and got quotes from several places. Inside Out was much more affordable than a few other places and the service they gave was top shelf. With all of the Covid junk going on, their vendor wasn’t able to get our slab shipped to Tyler so Shelby, the owner, had her guys go and pick it up in Houston for us to make sure we got everything done on time. Every person that we came in contact with from the young ladies at the front desk to the gentlemen who did the install were highly professional and did wonderful work. Thank you Shelby, and staff. Y’all made our kitchen look beautiful!
Can’t say enough good things about our experience. Wanted new countertops and so shopped around and chose Inside Out Living Spaces. They were nearby, but two things sealed the deal. Shelby and Chris were VERY helpful and wanted to be sure we got the granite we wanted. We wanted a Titanium Granite that had a good amount of action in it, with some browns as our backsplash is brown. We got several pictures and chose our two slabs. Upon delivery, we were asked to come by to make sure they met our expectations. It did!!! They had already done the templates and so listened to us to ensure the finished product would have what we wanted. It did. We are so happy with the entire experience and would highly recommend this business to anyone looking for a good company to redo counters. They also do flooring, backsplashes, outside living areas and lighting. A one stop shop from what I can see. What really made us happy was there was one piece that did not have the right corner cut, and was a bit too long. They fixed it that day and had it installed, even though the installers had to work late to get it done. And they were happy to work late. Such good attitudes all around. And as promised, when we paid the other half of the bid, the price was the balance and not inflated for extras such as a bit more square feet of counter than the bid. Furthermore, for our existing backsplash, we had a gap which needed some of the material we had left over cut to fit as we could install that ourselves. Expected to pay. Nope, all included. We highly recommend!!! 5 stars. Would give 10 if possible.
We highly recommend Shelby and her team at Inside Out Living Spaces. They did a great job from start to finish on our flooring project. We greatly appreciate the professionalism of the entire staff. Shelby knows what she is doing and we look forward to doing more business with her!!!
I have used Inside Out Living Spaces for granite in two home remodels. I cant say enough nice things about their customer service. The owner was very helpful in helping me select granite colors that were affordable and that would also be desirable to potential buyers. I was able to get a very upscale, custom granite for the same price as builder grade from other stores. Both homes turned out beautiful and sold very quickly. Thank you Inside Out for helping with my project.
Chris and Shelby went the extra mile to help me with the flooring of an old house that I was trying to sell. They saved me a ton of money with their recommendation and were prompt in sending out the install team. The workers were very enjoyable to be around, finished quickly, and cleaned up perfectly! I highly recommend their products, prices, and services to everyone in East Texas.
Ive shopped many places and by far this company is the best. Highly recommend their quality of products and thier staff is by far the most efficient and friendly people Ive met. Britney, Becky, and Allison thank you so much for such a smooth transaction on this last minute purchase. Client for life. Thank you again.
Convenient, Friendly, Knowledgeable, Great Selections, & Best Installers! Did a fabulous job for my kitchen countertop update. Very happy with results. Thank you Shelby & Crew! Special thanks to Britney for all your help! We’ll definitely use “IOLS” for our next project!
Inside Out Living Spaces is the GREATEST!!! I met Shelby several months ago when we were starting construction on our new home. She and her staff were always there to walk me through selecting countertops, tile, lighting, etc. The job is nearly complete and I can say I will definitely use them in the future. The only negative thing is I will miss seeing them every week. ~Glenda K
Total professionals! They took care of everyrhing,at very agreeable price! Ill be back, for sure..
My experience with Inside Out was anything but good. Because they did not have the particular stone in stock I wanted, they located a stone in Dallas at one of their suppliers. I went twice to look at it in Dallas. This was in December 2017 and I gave them a $500.00 deposit. They called 2 or 3 times wanting their guy to come out and measure the counter tops to do a template - which was done in late December or early January (and verified again in May before installation). When I was ready to proceed with the project, I paid them 1/2 of what would be charged for the job. That was February 23rd, 2018. As of early to mid April, they still had not brought the stone in. When it finally arrived (after I wrote an email), I made an appointment to see it - which was rescheduled a couple of times (one due to weather). I was given different dates for installation (after meeting with the owner and discussing how the stone was to be cut for each counter top) because the stone was denser than they thought and the fabricators were having trouble cutting it. Since I was doing a master bathroom remodel, this caused a delay with my contractor and he had to work around the counter top installation. On the day it finally arrived for installation, I realized that the counter tops were cut with the wrong sinks sizes. I had to either decide whether to keep them (Inside Out offered a discount for the sinks and for undermount polishing) or get a full refund. The stone had already been cut out with the wrong sink selections so there was no way to keep the original stone with the sinks I had wanted. Taking a refund would mean going somewhere else, locating another stone, waiting for it to be prepared, and then waiting for installation. The bathrooms where the counter tops were to be installed had already had the original counter tops removed and the water disconnected. I would have to wait another 3 - 8 weeks to go through the total process again and not have usable lavatories during that time. Another issue I had with totally refusing the install was that the bathroom remodel in the master bath had all been based on that stone. I had new floors, shower remodel, and paint on walls and cabinets already done or purchased that coordinated with the stone. I went ahead and allowed the install. I realized some other issues after the installation - like the stone seemed to be cut differently than we discussed, there was a pin hole right in the middle of one of the counter tops (which they did come fill), the sinks were not installed consistently (some were too far back and some too far over - I had 5 sinks total), and the holes for the fixtures were cut way too far back - probably due to the sink positioning. After installation, they wanted their money quickly (like 2 - 3 days after the final invoice was sent) even though the due date on the invoice was 2+ weeks after I received it. There were a couple of positive events. The owner did substitute one type of stone in one of my bathrooms that actually went better with my existing colors. But the original slab I chose would not cover all the counter tops I needed so we were going to have to choose something else anyhow. My advice, to them and to anyone who uses them, is to make sure every single item is in writing - including any choices or changes you make. I worked with the owner and her daughter. They were both nice people but changes or selections were not all put in the file. They did verify the cut or finish on the stones (I changed my original cut) but only had an item number for the sinks - which meant nothing to me. I did have trouble also getting timely emails and phone calls in response to my inquiries. I know this is a long review but I think it might help someone else in the future. I wish Inside Out the best in the future. Maybe they can make changes based upon my experience so that future customers will have fewer or no problems at all. They do have a great location and a nice store. Carolyn Sorrells
Inside Out was very unprofessional with their business commitment and initial disclosure of fees.FLOOR: A two day job ended in a five day DISAPPOINTMENT.Inside Out delivered a very low quality finished product on the molding around the base needed after the installation of a wood plank floor. The job was done by a high school student sub hired by Inside Out. Inside Out did not come back to remove the molding, but instead came back to patch and paint saying that was their best. ( I provided the paint and brush) The floors were left with dull patches where the adhesive paste was not properly cleaned. Two of the bathroom sinks were stopped up from workers washing their hands with paste.Instead of offering a discount, Inside Out asked me to pay an extra $450 to cover the cost of the molding that they had forgotten to mention when the initial deal was made.GRANITE: The removal of the initial counter top left a damaged edge which was not repaired. Instead, the granite countertop was installed on top of the damaged base. When I pointed out the damage, I was told that the repair was not part of the installation. The owner said that she would be sending someone to see what could be done. To date I have not seen or heard from anyone. They are nice people with good intentions, but did NOT deliver a professional top quality product as promised! This was a bad experience! This was a stressful experience! (pics upon request)Naomi Escutia-Prather
I was apprehensive but they made everything about my remodel way easier than I ever imagined!
Never return calls...in house communication between employees is pathetic...after repeated efforts of friendly communication about the issue it continues to occur...
Lost our phone number, and did not seal our granite like they said they would.
