Had a freezer repair gone wrong from another company and called George based on their reviews. A little on the pricey side but they do good work. Plan on using them again in the future with any refrigeration problems.

Been here twice to fix my oven and not only were they went above and beyond both times to get me the right parts and make sure i was doing the right things. Will definitely be back next time something breaks!

Mu fridge got damage on August 2020 my landlord said he will fix it, he call them they came to my apartment to check the fridge, I clearly told them if they not gona fix it and if is gona b too expensive it was not worth it i would of use that money for a new fridge. They said they will call me when the missing part will arrive (till this day they didnt call me) Well they charge the lardlord they didnt fix it and I end up purchasing a new one anyways. I rarely write reviews but make an exception when I encounter exceptional service. I own a building in U.C. and had issues with a couple of central air units. I initially called and spoke to them on the phone and they took the time to understand my issue and then offered advice and help. Certainly dont get that often these days. Following week, I encountered issues with another A/C unit and again, called them up and they offered their expertise on the phone. Finally decided to stop by the store to thank them personally. This business clearly cares about the customer and takes the time to help. I will continue to give them my business and more importantly, refer friends in the area to this business for their honesty and exceptional customer service.

Called these guys and explained the issue with my fridge. George had me take a few pictures of model number and problem area and text it to him. He had a tech out here within 2 hours. Good communication and reasonable pricing. Would definitely call them again.

As others have mentioned, highest prices around. Colleagues have mentioned they were charged over $350 for a replacement part that costs about $25, and the manager was a jerk about it when asked about the price.

I was able to get the part I needed for my refrigerator for a great price. They also explained how to install it. Extensive inventory and great costumer service.

After receiving a diagnostic from another repairman, who didnt have the part, I called Jorge and found out he had the part I was looking for. He had it ready as soon as I got to the store, only 20 minutes later, and helped me confirm that my motor indeed needed replacing. I was able to complete the repair myself with his help and saved over $150. Thank you Jorge and JR Refrigeration!

What great service I received today !!! I had another company come in initially and gave me an estimate of $4800 because I needed a new compressor and coils. Jorge and his team came in to give me an estimate... all that was needed is 2 parts replaced!! No need for a new compressor or coils!! Thank you So much for being honest and getting the work done I now have air conditioning and saved me a ton of money so thank you for that!

I needed to replace my freezer motor and i found this place in google. I called to see if they had the part. I spoke to george the owner and he said it was in stock. He also ask me to bring in my old motor to make sure it was the motor i needed. When I got there he tested my old motor free of charge and it was no good. He rewired the piece and tested it to make sure it was functioning. The experience was great. I left there satisfied. It was really personable. I would recommend this place and will be coming back in the future

My old refrigerator conked out in the middle of summer this year and this was the only shop in the NYC area that had the part to fix it on hand! The owner walked me through testing the fridge to confirm the part I needed and even gave me a discount after he found out how far I drove. I had a freezer with a bad fan, George and his team took the time to test the fan before selling a replacement, turned out the fan worked, had to go back to check the power supply. They looked at the wiring diagrams online and gave advise on how to proceed, highly recommended

Just walked in with a $95 refrigerator motor that I bought MAYBE a month ago... Just wanted my money back ... The part was never even opened ... Guy behind the counter was nice but offered me a $50 credit for a part he was just going to sell AGAIN . I countered with $80 cash bcuz I hadnt a receipt and he said credit no cash ... Not cool at all ... He tried saving me money on repair and ended up costing me more

Went in for 320VAC 176-216MFD start capacitor. They did not have an exact match but they did have 1 that fell in an acceptable range, 330VAC 161-186MFD.They were very helpful and nice, I would go there again.

JR replaced my thru-the-wall air conditioner. Its a specialty size unit, but they found a replacement no problem. Gave me a great price, that included installation & removal of the old broken unit. The guys were very professional, the whole thing was done in minutes. I highly recommend them.

Highest prices anywhere near me in parts. They wanted to charge me 42 dollars for a charging hose you can get at autozone for $21 and online for $13. For a compressor they wanted to charge me $200 and not even OEM and the same compressor you can get for 110 dollars. For charging ports they charge $6 each! (you can get 4 for less than 5 dollars ). FOr a 3-2-1 supco starter they told me 20 when you can get it anywhere for less than 16 bucks. I guess the only way to use them is if you really have an emergency for the part and cannot wait.
