Picked up a couple pounds of classic pork and beef frankfurters Friday. Drove home with the windows rolled up and the bag in my lap, the smell was so amazing. Perfect texture and flavor that a mass produced hotdog just doesn’t have.

This WAS a great place. Now they have locked the doors and only take phone orders. They need to update Google, I drove 30 minutes to find they no longer have in-store shopping. So long to another New Jersey business.

The service and quality of food here is unmatched!!! We had T-bone steaks (wet aged) and they were so tender and buttery and melted in our mouths. Perfect treat! The owner cuts the meat to order so it is fresh and delicious! The daughter helps take orders and she was so helpful explaining the difference between wet aged and dry aged steaks. The wet aged are similar to what you’ll have at a steakhouse. The dry aged are more meaty and dried for at least 45 days. Their sausage menu looks phenomenal and they post their menus on their Instagram. The owner was so sweet too! He brought my husky pup a treat. We will most definitely be returning to try the extensive range of products they have!

Wonderful store, dedicated mostly to pork products (but also offering a generous selection of beef, including an irresistible Porter house steak ). Highlights are the bacon tower offering a variety of differently prepared and flavoured bacon slabs and an astonishing wide variety of sausages, either frozen for future use or freshly made for immediate enjoyment. This is a very specific store, and its purpose is to prepare and enjoy meat, so you wont find grocery sundries, but you will find an excellent selection of mustards, pickled vegetables and other meat accompaniments. Highly recommended for those seeking a fare not found at your typical supermarket.

THIS PLACE IS A GEM. Their meats (e.g. pork chops) and seafood are top notch. Family owned and owner & all the staff are friendly, professional and wonderful. I love their smoked eel, trout, mackerel, salmon, and of course their variety of original European fresh sausages. Dont even get me started on their variety of bacon!! Their smoked salmon lox slices are cheaper and better quality than supermarket ones. My favorite is their Key West Lobster sausage! See my photos💕

Amazing store, friendly staff, and the best butcher I have ever had the pleasure to order from. Theres a reason this place is an institution. Always seeing people going in and out of the store, but with covid procedures all by done by phone. Still friendly still amazing quality! Love love love this place.

The bacon - oh the bacon. Everything here is delicious in fact but the bacon stands above any other Ive ever tried. I now have standing family requests to bring bacon anytime I visit them itd so good.Union Pork Store is also my consistent supplier of steaks and BBQ sausages and everyone who has tried it wants to know where to get their own.Highly recommend trying new things along with your favorites - you will likely find another to add to that list.

I always go to the Union Pork Store when Im in the area... I feel Im transported to a European fresh local butcher store whenever I walk in. Wonderful family there, who makes me feel like a regular even though I visit just a handful of times a year. I dont eat pork anymore so Im delighted they make a variety of chicken and turkey sausages. They like to get creative! I buy a bunch of compacted frozen sausage packages to last me for a while until my next visit. I also look forward to getting the other German products when I go, like passaged spaetzle, marizpan, sauerkraut, cookies and sauces (powder).

I didnt realize they were only doing pickup service. Got there, saw the sign and called. They were extremely accommodating. Took our order and. Brought it out back for us. It was my first time there but my friends had nothing but great things to say about it. Will be going back.

The best butcher I have ever been to. The owners are super friendly and helpful (when they arent in a rush to service a large line). They make their own sausages and have several unique creations you wont find anywhere else. Try the Bacha sausage - lamb sausage stuffed with cheese and cranberries, its absolutely incredible.

Even though this is a five star place I was going to give it only one star so you wouldnt tell everybody and create a crowd. But the owners are such good people I couldnt do that to them. I drive an hour from Ewing to get my bacon there and if I dont plan properly, and I need to go somewhere else because they are closed, it is an hours drive down to Mickleton - which would be my second choice. While shopping there try their fresh rye bread. I also have a favorite salami. Give everything a try. I guarantee you will find many things to love.

Their smoke salmon sausage with rice was superb. This makes 4 incredible different sausages we have purchased from the master sausage maker! All the standard sausages are excellent too. This is the hidden asset in out community.We recently moved here. My wife is a wine importer so good food must match the wines. This is our new source for great food to match her Spanish wines.

The owners and employees are very nice and accommodating. I love everything in the store. nice to know a European stores is still in the area..the sausage all kinds, the lebukasse and head cheese are the best.

All I can say is buyer beware. Do not buy from this place. I so wanted to support local businesses during this time but this one I refuse to. I called and was quoted prices that were completely wrong. My order total should have been $29 and I was charged $54 and change I difference of $25. Not to mention I was just charged and never notified of the difference. When I questioned it I was told prices have gone up due to the situation. I asked them to work with me give me some sort of credit ad $25 is a whole meal to my family and they refused to. Extremely unprofessional they admit it was there mistake but will not honor it.

Work took me there this week. Was pretty impressed with the varieties and the way the place smelled. The employees were accommodating of a difficult request.Ended up buying a few pounds of assorted sausages for myself and was amazed. The gator and especially the chicken were incredible. Will be back and will be recommending!

Truly a local gem. The staff is very knowledgeable, and the meat never disappoints. They have a fantastic selection of sausages; the maple sausage is incredible, and the chorizo is the best I’ve had.

I’m so impressed with the variety you get here from the sausages and the bacon, I’ve tried a bunch of different sausages and bacon and I honestly don’t have one single complaint everything is wonderful !!!Just as a added plus the staff is nice and seems knowledgeable in the product which is very helpful!!!

Wow! I grew up around homemade smoked meats but this place takes it to another level with the smoked bacon and the variety! AMAZING!

Absolutely the best and last butcher shop left in the area. There is a wide variety of lamb, pork, chicken & beef products to purchase. They make a large variety of sausages from all over the world. They vacation in different countries, come home and make sausages from the meats and spices of that country. If you like meats, this is your utopia. You can get some smoked fish on certain days but its mostly meats, European cold cuts, goose & duck liver pates, etc. Its definitely worth a trip if your in the area. My wife gave them a recipe for Longganisa (Filipino breakfast pork sausage) which is now one of their biggest sellers. We bought some Moroccan lamb sausages with 7 different spices in it which are great on the grill: Cost: $7.99.Great cuts of beef & pork steaks also. If you like goose liver pates, a pound cost approx. $9.00. You wont be disappointed...promise!

Bacon, sausage...it’s all great. I try something new every time and still haven’t sampled all of their different offerings. Super friendly people. I wish I lived closer.

This place is a treasure. Great selection of amazing smoked meats, sausages and German specialties. Almost everything they offer is made and or smoked in house. You can taste the quality and the love in every bite.

One of the last specialty butchers left. Javi has an art with meats, especially pork products. If you are not a fan of the other white meat, there are sausages made from alligator, lamb, and anything else you can think of. Those of you who buy bacon from the supermarkets will never go back after you try it from here.

I live in a part of New Jersey where you are more likely to run into rude people than folks with manners. I have visited this store twice and each time the people are professional and get you in and out of the store without any haggling. The meats are fresh, high quality and priced fairly.

I was in town visiting some friends and I think every meal we ate was made from meat purchased here. Simply great staff! Knowledgeable and friendly. They take pride in what they do and it shows! I was amazed at the robust variety and flavors available. I swear that was some of the best bacon and easily the best sausage I have ever had! Grew up in the area when it still had a sizable German population such that there were German butchers were up and down Morris Avenue. This is the last place standing, for a reason. Unbelievable array of sausages, wursts, bacons and brats amongst other meats. They also sell the singularly finest pork chop I’ve ever eaten. They are marbled like prime beef. Salt, pepper and a little oil on a hot grill for no more than 10 minutes. I dare anyone to say they’ve had better.

THE BEST STORE FOR MEATS & GROCERIES. They have over 20 different sausages, meats & deli items. Its a family owned business & the meat is high quality. The neighborhood butcher is a dying breed & this is one of the last of its kind. You can order your meat in advance & they will have it ready for pick up. They even ship their products around the country. If you live in the area, you should put it on your food bucket list.

We visit Germany on a semi-regular basis and the sausages from Union are better than most of the ones we eat there. Bought an array for a Halloween/Octoberfest party, and all of our German friends thought they were great as well. You really cant go wrong here. They are really friendly as well. Highly recommended.

A rude awefull experience. Waited in line and would not serve because people in line didn’t have numbers. I can’t believe it. Have gone there for years but will be a long time before I consider going back. How sad because the product is good.

My go-to store for kielbasi (both Polska and Magyar, of course and bacon! A small, but well stocked store with a impressive variety of meats and all types of sausage. Duck sausage? You betcha dupa! The owner are friendly and knowledgeable and explain all to the novice or uninitiated. Prost!!
