I was treated badly by the cashier on Sunday, Dec 13 around 4:45. As I was paying with a card the machine asked if I wanted cash back I chose, yes, however, the clerk snorkedly replied that I couldnt get cash back. Well, if thats the case just put a notice on the machine that there is no cash back and he wouldnt have had to use his voice and show his annoyance. Yet, I didnt reply at all. As I gathered my goods up to leave the store with my arms full, I noticed he had not put one of the items in a bag. I asked if he was going to put it in a bag and he states well you can ask nicely! Huh, is that a requirement to purchase from the store? What was his problem. Wont ever go there again. Get better employees to handle the front! Im trying to find corporates number.

While in line to check out, I witnessed the cashier being completely disrespectful and horrible to the customer at the front of the line. She even tried to get other customers to join her on bullying the elderly woman. When it became my turn to check out, I was going to ask for the store manager. Imagine my surprise, when I saw the cashiers name tag had Store Manager printed on it. I was so shocked, I didnt even read her name! Apparently, Family Dollar does not teach any level of employee about how to properly treat other human beings. Sad. Very sad!

They should worry more about customer service, cleaning up, taking money, than my service animal. Do you know you can be sued for refusing service animals?This is a nasty Family dollar.

Great place to shop for quick things. Sometimes out of stock on items but generally reliable! Staff is awesome and helpful!

The store is a bit cluttered and out of stock of quite a few things. However, their clothing selection is well stocked. Their seasonal aisles are well stocked too.

Fantastic clean environment. The employees always go the extra mile to help out. They really put a lot of effort into maintaining the store.

Dana is the absolute WORST cashier on the planet. My son went inside to buy something and I could tell no one was at the register. I went inside and walked to the back and saw her stocking the shelves. I could tell she was busy, so I very kindly said “hi miss! Can you ring us up please?” She rolled her eyes so hard, I thought the would roll out of her head. Then says very loudly “Jesus Christ” she proceeds to basically stomp her feet all the way to the front. I asked her if she was the manager and she ignored me. I asked again and she screams “HOLD ON!” I asked one more time and she tells me it’s none of my business and it doesn’t matter. To say I’m appalled is an understatement. And the fact that she is STILL an employee after all the horrible reviews on JUST HER speaks volumes on your company. My son walks to this store quite often and spends a lot of his money here. Congratulations DANA because your such a horrible person, we will NEVER go here again ESPECIALLY if you’re still an employee and I will be sure to tell everyone.

Very unhappy with the cashier tonight. I am new to the app and was excited to use a couple of coupons offered. When my husband and I proceeded to the register. I asked her if the coupons would automatically come on there since I had entered my phone number. She said they would show if there were any coupons. Which there were not attached after we had already paid. Apparently this cashier needs to be trained on how to handle coupons as this is the reason we started shopping here in the first place.

ATM doesnt work and No cash back.

Staff are consistently rude and I was accused of stealing on account of being black. Unless you like being harassed, go literally anywhere else.

Great Company. Rarely out of items i go there for. Helpful Staff. Affordable prices. Holiday candy n cookies r reduced alot! Just for us folks with that sweet tooth. Good selection.

Staff is always friendly & helpful. The aisles are a bit crowded. Otherwise, the store is well organized & the staff always knows where items can be found.

If I could give this zero stars I would. Man cashier with glasses, most terrible cashier I’ve met. He was obviously having a bad day and took it out on his customers. I’m never going to this dollar store again and if I were the manager I’d fire this man real quick. I do not recommend this store.

The cashier is always to busy on her phone and doesnt greet or thanks for patronizing the store. Not ever going to that location again. Its not a one time incident, it happens several times a week with the same cashier.

They didnt have my dog food but found everything else.

Horrible the clerk refused to honor the marked price. Said she didnt put price up on shelf and what it rang up as was the price. She refused to give the mgr name to my son and told my son to shut his mouth. She refused to give his money back and told him to leave she was refusing service to him. So he paid more than expected since she wouldnt take product back and refund him. Never shopping there again.

The employee name Dana Goss is worst personality to treat customer there. Please to help her and need to let her learning how to work the store to help customer.

I went there for a charger and they had it. The cashier was nice and I was in and out in no time. Prices are great!

I was at this store at 4:30 Pm around and the cashier made me wait for more than 30mins just because he was counting the register, no courtesy to even say that he will be assist me in this many minutes. Very disappointed. Never visit this place again.

They didnt have the pricing I was looking for so I was disappointed but the deal I wanted was still there.

I went in there today and was treated very rudely and unfairly by Dana. I popped in to get a few things after dropping off a package at the post office. I bought a small mini kareoke I got in my car gave it to my kiddo who turned it on and it didn’t work so I immediately went back inside to get a refund. Dana got my receipt and highlighted the item she made it seem like she was going to refund me easy peasy, then all of sudden she said I can’t return this bc we won’t be able to sell it, I explained it didn’t work anyway so they shouldn’t sell it, for some reason she got upset and said NO she couldn’t do the refund. I asked her if she could do a store credit She said NO! Go somewhere else and try to get a refund just go! I was really was caught off guard by her attitude. It wasn’t the matter of how much the item cost it was the principle you sold me something that was broken. She started telling me that I should just leave and like egging me on. I was like why are you being so rude to me? She said just leave go somewhere else go to anouther location. I was like I’ll call the manager tomorrow weirdo. Just an FYI if you buy any type of defective items you won’t get a refund. I won’t be returning to this or any family dollar again!

Husband told me he waited in line with a lady in front of him with a a hand basket full of chips and the store manager looking ever so comfy sitting on a chair with her leg resting on a stool with a pillow under her leg. That is not the issue but with a store pillow with the tag still on it. I sure hope she didnt put that pillow back on the shelf. Anyways. She told the customer she can put the basket away for her and just threw it over her shoulder and then threw the ladies chips in a bag. Once my husband came up with his purchase of liquid fabric softener. Why did she open it, look inside and run it through the electric alarm thing they have up front. Really??? Was that neccessary?

I was at the shopping strip shopping at Pollys, Hallmark, and Heros and Fantasys comic store. I just so happened to park in front of Family Dollar. As we were leaving Blanca G, sticks her head out the front door yelling something. I had no clue who she was talking too, since I never went into the store I had paid no attention to her. As I rolled down my window I noticed her yelling to me that she was writing my license plate number down. I was so confused as to what the heck was wrong with this lady. I asked her why and she had accused me of stealing. So I went into the store of course confused and started to get upset. I asked her what did I do and she told me the sensor went off at the exit and she knew I stole something. I told her, lady I havent been in your store till just now am I walking in. I asked her to view her camera footage to prove that I hadnt been in the store. She right away said NO! My son of course being upset said we werent Fing here!!! And right way she said thats it you cussed Im calling the cops. I said please do that! So we waited outside for the cops to show up. Once cops showed up, they told my son youre not allowed to cuss at someone in a business. Which was besides the point. The point of the whole thing is we were never in the store to begin with! We never stole anything! So now we are banned from a store we dont go to. I just want to warn everyone to be careful when you park in front of Family dollar. This lady will apparently accuse anyone of stealing. I havent and never will shop at family dollar. My preference is Dollar General and Dollar Tree. I would give it zero stars but had to mark one of them to make a comment. Oh, and then when everything was said and done. The officer said, Blanca wasnt even sure if we were the ones that set the sensor off or that it was us leaving the store. I couldnt believe she was able to getaway with her ridiculous accusations!!! And of course it was neither one of those things since we werent in the store to begin with! But no one wanted to look at the camera!!! Another thing if we had been there and took something do you really think we wouldve hung around waiting for the cops??? I even told the cops to search my car and search us! But no!

Im a USAF veteran. My 3 year old had a bloody nose from the TX weather being triple digits. He and I went into Family Dollar before his Krav Maga self-defense class, so I can get him a cool bottle of water. I didnt expect there to be any issues, but Blanca decided to yell at me when I was halfway in the store, I had no idea she was even talking to me because theres no reason for someone to greet any customer like that. Finally, I looked and she told me she needed to take my sons full Krav Maga backpack, despite the fact that my hands were full, I was rushing to get out of there and I had my child with me. Im not going to steal anything. Im just getting my son a bottle of water and Ill be out of here. Blanca decides to leave her station at the register to follow us from the refrigerated water area to the register, where the other employee decides to leave the register as well to help a customer find an item right when I was the only customer there ready to pay for a bottle of water... Rude. I turn to look at Blanca to help me pay for the bottle of water, Blanca decides to smirk and walk off as if now she was too busy... so I waited over 5 minutes and that was because finally other customers started to line-up, then the other employee decided to accuse my son of stealing his mini juice he was drinking (yeah, a juice thats more than half gone, small, and obviously part of a huge pack not sold individually), so once again I had to say,My son and I dont steal. After a 10 minute process just to get a bottle of water, I walk off where Blanca magically appears again to watch us and I say to her,See. Just a bottle of water. Theres no harm done. Have a good day, Maam. She stares at me coldly. I thought maybe she didnt hear me so I said it again (and this is all happening in front of my 3 year old) and she walked off without a word. Maybe if Blanca greeted me when I came in rather than shout at me across the store, maybe if she was kind and polite, especially after I left the store, maybe if she gave some sort of indication she was a decent employee with common sense to know that a woman with a child who has her hands full and seems like shes in a huge rush who verbally states shes not going to steal but only there to get a bottle of water isnt a thief, I wouldve felt more comfortable turning around and walking back to give her my bag full of stuff, but the entire experience was very off-putting. I also spoke to my cousins who live close to there and they said they had a bad experience with Blanca as well that involved her treating them like thieves and not welcoming them even though they had no bags at all, yet the people at the Krav Maga place didnt have that experience with her and the only difference is that were black. Its experiences and places like these that hire people like that make it sad to be an American. Worst of all, my son had to witness the type of world we live in where its okay and people support discrimination and the mistreatment of others. I get it if I was actually looking around the store going shopping, but I was already halfway in the store and verbally told her I was there for just water, I definitely didnt fit the description of someone whos going to steal or show signs of someone whos going to steal, and Ive been a secret shopper before, I strongly recommend Blanca and other associates at this location take better training classes on good customer service, communication and proper ways to prevent theft without harassment or discrimination because they clearly dont know how to treat customers, especially customers that arent Caucasian or Hispanic.

Cashier took her time coming to the front to ring up my purchase. Rang the bell to summon help but as usual this lady (short lady dark hair) took her time to respond to a customer. Several of us just stop when have to as the service is slow and could care less. So it seems by their response toward customers. She did thank me for shopping.
