Friendly people, I brought my bike in for a truing and to ask some questions as I am new to cycling. Reinout was incredibly insightful an honest with what I “need”. I will be returning, and referring friends here!

I brought my bike in for a tune-up. It had a few things wrong and they were upfront and honest that they might not be able to fix it, for less than what it was worth. (Older bike) Not only did they fix it in less than 24 hours. It was a great price!! Everyone was very nice, professional and knowledgeable!! I will definitely be going back for future needs!!

I thought my e-bike had a flat and they were the closest shop to me. I was able to drop it off with a tube and tire and get an ETA of when I would hear back. A few days later they let me know that they could find nothing wrong and pumped my tire up with air at NO CHARGE! If they wanted to, they couldve charged me for the inspection and labor, or just replaced the tire and tube and let me think I had punctured them. That kind of customer service is rare and if I have any real issues with my e-bike, I wont hesitate to bring it to them again.

Very helpful and informative staff. As a total beginner they were very patient with all my questions and I didn’t feel rushed or pressured at all. Ended up buying a great bike that I’m really happy with.

Ive dealt with two other Trek stores in the greater Seattle Tacoma are. These guys are by far the best.

I had been looking for a new quality bike shop here in Tacoma and found Trek. I took my non-Trek bike in for them to look over. They performed a gear replacement on my Rohloff Speed-hub that other shops have charged me triple for what Trek did. They also diagnosed a problem with my brakes that was corrected without charging me at all. They could have ripped me off and didnt. Sorry for the test gentlemen.

I had an amazing experience. Im not new to mountain biking, but Ive always owned bikes from big box stores. I called and they set me up with the perfect sized bike. They are extremely knowledgeable and were able to explain everything to me so I could understand.I got the marlin 6 and it is a huge difference from what I have owned before. The manager there, Isaiah, is one of the most Customer service orientated gentleman, I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.His knowledge of the biking world is only outdone by his willingness to go the extra mile for the customer.In between waiting for the delivery of my original purchased bike, a Marlin 6, I figured out that I wanted something a little more trail aggressive, a Roscoe 6. He was more than accommodating in ordering me the right bike I wanted and also providing me a loaner bike, so I still had the opportunity to enjoy some weekend fun.Their staff is also just as excellent, very friendly and well trained with great work habits, have not had an issue with any one of them.I have since returned and ordered my daughters bike from that store as well.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff gave us lots of options for tuning up an older (not Trek) bike and did a great job on the newer Trek, too.

First of all, I feel so bad that I am just now getting around to writing about my experience at Trek. My situation was unique, I brought my Chariot to be serviced since some of the spokes were damaged on the rims. I was hoping that the replacement rims from Amazon would work that I had purchased myself and that Trek could change them out for me, however that was not the case the rims I had purchased were not compatible with my chariot. Expecting to be turned away and go home disappointed with the situation, a gentleman there by the name of Reinout I believe, he was so thoughtful enough to give me a temporary fix and made new spokes to get me by until I can get myself the corrected set of rims. I am literally still surprised a month later by the kind service he provided and I know if i was ever in the market to buy a bike or needed service, I know it would be with this awesome shop!

Easy to schedule service, for any bike not just TREK bikes. And I dont feel pressured into upsells for additional services.

I love that they aren’t bike snobs. I brought in the front wheel off of my big box bike. No one blinked twice, nor did they try to up sell me to one of their bikes. I have a feeling my next bike will be a Trek.

I brought my bike in to be checked over. I had crashed, and did what I could to fix. But it still had some creaking and popping. They put it in the stand immediately and began assessing. A replacement hanger and few adjustments by a professional and was right as rain. I was out the door in about 20minutes. Fast and friendly.

Isiah, Terry, and Chase were amazing! They were extremely knowledgeable and more importantly friendly. They took the time out to fully understand what I was trying to accomplish rather than just trying to sell me things. Additionally, they know the area well and also recommended a few spots for mountain biking.

Took 3 bikes in a box in without an appointment and they were built for me by the next day. I was unable to pick them for almost a week, & it was no problem. Very affordable compared to other bike shops that I called! Also, I have a hurt shoulder and when one of the employees saw me trying to bring the 1st box in, he came out and grabbed all three! Would definitely recommend!

Staff gave us a fair estimate on bike repairs after our bikes were sitting for a while. Was offered different options depending on how much we wanted to invest in our older bikes, or if we wanted to get into something new. Rep was honest and treated us like family.

The staff at the University Place location were extremely helpful and so friendly. Amazing customer service. I would highly recommend. They helped me to find an adaptor for my bike trainer after another store told me they didnt have adaptors for my bike and even if they did they would charge. Trek staff helped me get what I needed and made my day with how helpful they were.

Before the U.P. Trek store opened, I shopped and had my bike tuned-up at 2 other local bike stores. After one visit to the University Place Trek store, I have not taken my bikes anywhere else for service.When I was ready to upgrade to a new bike, Isaiah, Jameson and the knowledgeable Trek staff helped me select the perfect bike. The only hiccup I have experienced since is routine punctures in my tires due to poor road conditions. Isaiah and Jameson ordered in a durable specialty tire that has made road riding much safer with far fewer puncture incidents. Trek U.P. offers GREAT customer service and products.

Terrible customer service for bike repair and maintenance. They made a mistake on the email address, and showed nothing but condescension toward me for something that was their fault. Never again will they get my business. REI was 10 minutes further down the road, and worth the drive. Not only will my bike be repaired sooner, but the quote is $300 cheaper for the exact same service as what Trek wanted me to pay. Watch out! Do yourself a favor, skip the overpriced Trek Store and go to REI.

Awesome staff they bent over backwards to help me get my hand on the Marlin 5. Every other store was telling me I had to wait till 2022 to get one

All of the staff were amazing, especially Terry, who helped me put a bike rack on my car for the first time (in the 40 degree weather). Thanks for going above and beyond! I would highly recommend this place. (I also visited the Redmond location, and had an amazing experience there.). Very happy with my Trek bike.

Went to this shop before work to look at some of the new bikes. As soon as I walked in I was greeted very with a very rude you need to wait. Then it seemed like the employees didnt even want to help, just wanted me to out of the store. Will not go back to this store as I felt very unwanted and a burden to the staff.

I had a horrible experience, they were rude as he!! Blaming us for something that was their fault we decided to go to rei it was $300 cheaper and rei is doing more tune ups on the bike than trek would of done save ur time, go to rei trek should be shut down.

Great bicycle shop! They do repairs on store-bought bikes as well as high-end models. I brought my Schwinn bicycle in for a minor repair. Even though it wasnt a high-end bike, and I hadnt bought it there, they fixed it while I waited and for a reasonable price. They have some amazing mountain bikes for sale. As well as lots of cool accessories for any bike enthusiast. This is my go-to bike shop for the Tacoma area!

Amazing service and support. My bicycle repair was delayed and there was multiple miscommunications by the staff. The manager committed to having the bike repaired by a specified date and delivered the bike to my home. He also adjusted the cost of the repair due to multiple inconveniences on my part. I was shocked at how beautiful my 10 year old Trek bike looked. It arrived in as close to brand new condition as was possible and Im looking forward to upgrading my ride within the year. So few businesses take care of customers these days and Trek really delivered for me. Ive already sent several friends to this store and look forward to upgrading my ride with them next year.

Arrived late and they still took us in. Spent proper amount of time to get the right bike for my 14 year old daughter. The staff was friendly and very knowledgable. Showroom was very clean and well spaced (especially given the COVID-19 restrictions), and there was a good range of bikes on display. Isaiah was very helpful throughout the trade-in and sales process, and his team stayed beyond closing hours to finish the build on my bike to save me a 30 mile return journey the following day. The 2021 Checkpoint SL6 is a super fun bike to ride, and Ill definitely be visiting the Trek Tacoma store for future upgrades and bikes.

I went in to have my tires swapped out thinking I would have to leave my bike for a couple of days but instead I was pleasantly surprised when they told me they could do it while I waited.

Utterly exceptional customer service. I called them 30 minutes before closing in a pinch, needing some new brake pads by the next morning. They didnt have them in stock, but they went out of their way to find the parts at another store, and then had someone transfer them from their Olympia location before opening, and then made time to install them for me as the first repair of the morning. The internet might be killing retail, but service like this will keep this shop alive. Amazing. Well done!

Dropped bike off for service estimate on Saturday with promise of call on Sunday. No call by Wednesday. Called them twice, no return call. Cant get a hold of them to make a appointment to pick up my bike. Waited 2 hours just to get my back back so I can do the work myself. No sense of urgency at all.

Absolutely great people. My 16 year old son who also is a functioning autistic, came in a few times. The first was for help with a flat tire and a problem with the brake. They fixed it for free! Second time was for a new bike lock and another problem with the tire. They helped with the tire and gave him a deal in on lock. Really great service and anyone who can be nice and patient with my son will now have my business for life. Thank you to the people who helped!
