Got a Droid Max from Verizon--Seattle Northgate. Paid $50+ for it. I asked, but they couldnt transfer my contacts and pictures from my LG flip phone. Went to Verizon--University Place to ask about some way to get the pictures and was told that I needed a USB cable. Did they have? NO. They suggested that I try Radio Shack.RS didnt have that cable but Amani said E-Bay did--and asked why i needed one. I gave her my story and she quickly transferred my pictures on that little machine. No Charge!She was very encouraging on my choice of the Droid Max over an I-phone. And said that the Droid would probably have been free at Radio Shack.What about the contacts? She could have transferred my contacts too but since we have so much time invested in that operation we will finish. About 12 hours so far--grrrrr!Thanks for your help Amani.
