My daughter introduced me to Theory. This is the best nail place Ive ever been to. Very relaxed atmosphere and you get to have cocktails! All the ladies are superb at what they do. And all priced very fairly. Try the Hot Rock Pedicure and a mimosa. Lovely!

I dont know where they went wrong with my nails. My toes turned out good, but my hands not so much. It started out good, but I think the specialist went to hard on the nail polished or dip powder, causing it to be bubbly and uneven. Unfortunately, I am not from the area and I came here to get nails done for a wedding in less than a week! I had to find a place quickly enough near me to fix my nails. Good people, good service (attitude), vibes, and such, but the actual nail work, not so much.Giving them a 3 star review because their welcoming attitude was great, but 2 less stars due to the actual nail service.

My bf got me and his mom a gift certificate to go together and get our nails done!It was an amazing experience and while chatting and getting pampered, we got our drinks on in style!The staff was super friendly and attentive.We will definitely be coming back!

I wanted to make an appointment for my 94-year-old mom as a birthday gift to have her hands and toes treated special at my favorite salon and I explain to the girls that I wanted to make sure that they didn’t expect her to get up in that big chair because of her age. She uses a walker and gets around great. I’ve seen many places accommodate disabled people with a chair and portable basin for a pedicure but Nail Theory refused, the technicians didn’t want the responsibility and said it was too much work. So people if you’re disabled, find somewhere else to go or if you care about the disable you might think about going elsewhere as I will. I’ll be searching tomorrow for a new nail shop and one that will accommodate my dear sweet Mom next week while she’s here visiting. I’d like to add that she has a mani/pedi every 6 weeks in San Pedro and never had a problem. They bring a chair and portable foot basin.

I had a gift certificate so I was not familiar with them. As soon as I walked in I knew it was gonna be all good. It was clean, quiet and they knew it was my first visit. I got a free cocktail and my nail tech called me by my first name. No upselling. I was able to relax and enjoy. I will definitely be back

I loved every bit of my experience here. From me just walking in to make an appointment I was greeted and was treated with the best professionalism. The two nail techs that worked on me were phenomenal! The atmosphere and decor in the shop was great. With covid back on the rise I felt so comfortable and safe. I would highly recommend this place. I cant wait to go back. Oh and the bar is a nice touch to the experience. If I could this place would get 10 stars.⭐💫

Great pedicure at a good price. I go there every 6 to 8 weeks and I drive an hour to get there. A must try.

Absolutely love this salon. I went to a few other ones in the area and the reason I stuck with this one is because they don’t try to upsell you and my nails always come out great. You do have to be specific when booking because they only book a certain amount of time.

I miss being so close to this nail salon. This is the only salon I can really count on to do my nails how I like. They might be shorthanded sometimes but it is WELL worth it. At least they dont employ rude techs. The easiest way to get an appointment is just to walk in and set it up. Every nail tech that has done my nails here has been so nice! The work they do here and the customer service is unmatched! Also, you can order alcoholic drinks. Five million thumbs up.

Came here recently with a friend to get a deluxe pedicure and had a nice time! They serve wine and cocktails, and seating is set up to come with a girlfriend(s) or spouse, which is very cool. It was very relaxing, and the girls did a good job on our pedicures. Definitely going to come back for another girls day! Be sure to book in advance, they get busy.

I dont recommend this place save your time and money woke up to sore fingers and my thumb still bleeding.

Design not much really. They went cheap on the chairs and equipment but the prices was way more expensive than the well equipped stores. They offered free drink for 1st timers but thats how it is everywhere if you spend more than 25. I left more stressed than when I first went. I always get a lot more for a lot less money.

I am a regular at Theory Nail Lounge and I truly do not understand the various bad reviews. I have always been treated with the utmost professional attitude. Kelly and her husband are extremely courteous and friendly. I had to go back one time for a little problem and it got fixed with no dirty looks, no questions, nothing. They have menus waiting in their lounge area and the price of all the beverages are clearly noted. It clearly says at the door that you may not bring your own beverages. Many of the operators are of Asian origin, and they always and only speak English (among each other) when they have a customer.I appreciate being able to relax, have a drink and get my nails done. I appreciate being among only adults.So give it a try and you wont regret.

Ive been here twice and its cool because they have alcohol available on site but not worth it.Both times the nail polish isnt even close to the edge of my nail. This time in particular I went with a friend and they had only one person to attend both of us (Mani and pedi). They didnt warn us of this ahead of time so we ended up being there forever. The pair across from us had four people working on them at once. We felt bad for our lady but the job was just sloppy. On one of my nails I still have my old color visible on the edge.I think two chances are good enough. I wont be returning.

Ive been going to Theory for a couple years now and Ive always been well treated. They are very attentive and accommodating. They are also very kind and professional. Not to mention, my nails always look FANTASTIC!

I have called MULTIPLE times attempting to get an appointment and they are always booked for acrylic fills. I really like the way they do my nails and am willing to pay a little more to go here, but they never have an opening. The girl on the phone told me they only have four nail techs. Super disappointed they dont have enough nail techs to accommodate the volume. I dont refer friends to them anymore, because I have called six times, sometimes even a week in advance and I always get the same response I give up.

Once I went here I was spoiled,this is the best nail salon. The workers are all very nice and respectful they speak English, they dont talk around you only to you. They help each other out.The salon itself is very classy they have a waiting area with a bar and sofas. The price is a bit more than a regular salon but its totally worth it

I love that this place is so clean n friendly. I like that the manicurists are not chatting to each other, (possibly talking about us clients) and or eating in front of me. I think this place is very professional and I appreciate being called by name after signing in. The liquor n drinks are just an added bonus. It is pricey but worth it.....Had a gel manicure n reg pedi done on a Thursday. The gel polish came off from some nails the day after. I called n all they could do for me was to go back in and get the polish fixed. But I couldnt get in till Monday. Theyre closed on Mondays. The next day I could go was Thursday again but by then, all of the polish had chipped or peeled away. What was there to fix? Wont ever get a gel polish done here again but I still enjoy their cleanliness.

Love coming here. My go to girl is Teresa! She is amazing at coming up with unique nail designs. I always get the Gel Express and fadded design. Which is like and hombre look on nails. When your nails are growing you cant really tell because of how the polish is blended in and fadded at the cubicle.

They gave me a beautiful gel mani! Peaceful and pampered is how I felt when I left.

I came here last weekend to treat myself to a manicure for my birthday. The place has a really comfortable feel but the lady who did my nails was awful. Nothing about it was relaxing. The water she put my hands in was very cold and when she was cutting off the dead skin around my nails she cut me. I bled for the rest of my time there. She held my hand out as far as my arm could reach so it was easier for her but more uncomfortable for me. She got the gel polish all over my fingers even my palm. When it was time to put my fingers under the uv light (I’m sorry I don’t know what it’s called) if didn’t work. So she started hitting it until it’d turn back on. I paid extra for the 10 minute massage but it lasted only about three minutes. It was over quicker than the song playing over the speakers. It wasn’t worth it at all. Nothing about this experience was relaxing. I came here because it seemed really nice. I think I would have been better off going somewhere cheaper.

The Manis and pedis are very relaxing. They offer discounts on Tuesday and Wednesday sometimes. Also, theres a full bar. A wonderful experience all around.

They do amazing work and everyone is so helpful. I made the mistake of going somewhere else to get acrylics on a few weeks ago and Theresa fixed everything the other lady messed up today with my fill. Never again will I go somewhere else for my acrylics!

For the amount I paid to do my feet, it was not worth it. The technician did my feet pretty quick and didnt really take her time.

Ill be there on March 2nd! this will be the 3rd or 4th time I celebrate there.Edit- went for a fill and I do not like how my nails turned out. I did tell her they didnt look even so she filed them some more and then stayed painting. When she was done they still didnt look even I didnt say anything because I had some drinks in me and I didnt want to be rude. I just know not to ask for that lady again

It only gets one star because I did have two great manicures there...with Teresa and with Andrea D. They are great. The rest of my experience is by far the worst Ive ever had...anywhere at any business. They dont know or understand the meaning of customer service. BEWARE...if you complain about a service, you are likely to not be allowed back and they will treat you rudely (even while in the salon). Very unprofessional.I had a set of nails put on(I was on time to my appointment). I also had to wait for a while. I paid with a SpaFinder card. The VERY next day, I noticed the bottom of my pink and white nails lifting a lot. My nails were uneven and very thick in some places. She also didnt file the underneath of the nail, so I had large amounts of acrylic under the artificial nail tip.I called a couple of days later (when more of the nails began lifting) to file a complaint and asked to get my money back. The receptionist was rude and is NOT friendly when you enter the store. She took my information and said a manager would get back to me. I think she asked if I wanted to come in and have the girl fix my nails and I said no. Why would I waste another hour of my time having something done again that was so unsatisfactory in the first place? A week went by and I was never called back. I called again. He explained that I had to wait so that he could contact SpaFinder to get a new card. I got a call about a week later that I had a new gift card waiting for me, and to pick it up at my convenience (there). I went back the next week and had a manicure and nails taken off. I paid for that. The girl was great!I went back to have another manicure and was going to use my SpaFinder gift card that was there for me (refund). The receptionist told me it was not there and she knew nothing about it (same one I dealt with). She texted her manager and then magically pulled out the SpaFinder card and handed it to me. When I asked it was used for my services today, she said, No. The manager asked that you respectfully never return to our store. She was very rude.Its unfortunate, because I am a good, loyal customer who recommended them to friends/family. I will un-recommend them for sure. The concept is great...just need to learn about customer service!

Horrible customer service!! They say they take walk ins but are always booked and its not because they are so busy its because they are under staffed. I made an appointment for me and my boyfriend she confirmed everything on the phone but when we got there they didnt have my boyfriend`s appointment down… wasnt the first time something like this happened.
