I had an amazing experience! I was greeted as soon as I entered the door and I had and sales person ask me if they could help me right away. I walked in with my head spinning about different brands of power tools and promo offers. But Dan was VERY knowledgeable and worked to make sure I not only made an informed choice, but the most economical.I appreciated how straight forward he was about their pricing and their competitors. I did indeed go to Home Depot to see if a better deal could be had on the same tools. I walked in and was sent to the wrong area. When I did get to the correct area I walked around looking at the tools waiting for 1 OF THE 4 EMPLOYEES in the section to help me. All of them saw me, but none of them elected to help. After about 20 minutes I got frustrated the left to go back to Nutter Hardware.When I came back I was once again greeted with the same great service, purchased my tools, and left feeling great about it.Service counts for something. I ended up getting a better deal at Nutter Hardware anyway which makes it all even better.Id recommend anyone come here for their hardware needs and speak to Dan!

They will the Customer Service AwardI had a problem with a pretty high-end purchase I made from them when it broke after two weeks. Initially the manufacturer did nothing to make it right, but the Manager at Nutter, Jeremy, went to bat for me with the manufacturer and negotiated a fantastic solution that was a win for all involved.He absolutely went above and beyond to take care of things and make it right.

They had everything we needed. Very helpful staff with everyone having a tremendous amount of knowledge. You cannot really beat the convenience of a local Ace store.

I took my saw in to get fixed it was running and assembled but had a fuel leak and needed the carb adjustment. I paid the rush fee and was told the parts would arrive Thursday and I could pick it up later that afternoon. I got a call Thursday stating the fuel line did not arrive nor do they know when it will. For a so called repair shop it should be common practice to carry fuel lines and other common parts needing replaced or saws. Never the less I went to pick up my saw and it was in pieces not even assembled they knew I was picking it up and I dropped it off fully assembled and I should have received it the same way. Do not have your stuff worked on here.

Thumbs up for this store and knowledgeable staff!I had A hard time to find this 3/8 comp to 1/2 MIP adapter, went to HD, Lowes and Ferguson and had no luck.The young lady （sorry didnt catch her name） in this shop just took less than A minute to find the right part for me.Right store and right clerk can save us money and time!

Im definitely not the most handy homeowner, but I try to tackle small household projects myself. The bulk of my projects include multiple trips to the hardware store, and this location is convenient. Easy parking, fast checkout, etc. Plus, the employees are very friendly about helping me navigate the store and finding exactly what I need. Recently, I had to special order a bathroom fan motor, and they made sure I received it in a timely fashion. I truly appreciated the personalized help. Other reviewers noted that some of the prices are a little high, but in my experience they offer decent deals.

I love having this store near me and appreciate the neighborhood hardware store feel. That being said, I do have a gripe with the quality of some of the products. Ive spent hundreds of dollars on Christmas lights that were absolute garbage and didnt even make it through a season. Ive bought outlet timers and power strips that failed very quickly as well. I bought some of the worst paint Ive every used here. I dont really know what to say about it. When I mentioned this to the employees they seemed annoyed. I wasnt asking for my money back just maybe some acknowledgment and that theyd report it Chuck. This post probably wont even get a response.

Just wanted to give a shoutout to Nutter (ACE) hardware. They are always outstanding and I ask that my neighbors strongly consider this local shop for I have rented from them, sought advice for products and projects, and made a quick stop for some paint samples and a brush and they’re awesome. I highly recommend them for specialty products, rentals, experience or advice and home delivery.The character here is top notch, the gentleman that delivered my products today to my home (while my kiddos napped) gave a call-ahead before arriving and I could hear the commitment to both the customers and their store in his voice.Also- the ace rewards do add up and shipping is free >$50 with the program.That is all. Hands down my favourite hardware store. Selection is limited, store is smaller than I would like but the staff more than makes up for it. First off, there is people around, that find you and ask if they can help you. Already way better than big box store. After that, this staff is well trained. Shout out to Daniel. He was able to help me with plumbing/shower, electrical wiring/garbage disposal, shelving/hardware, and every other question I had in the same trip. He alone has made me a loyal customer. If thats not enough, they give you popcorn (sometimes caramel)as you browse. Prices are a little higher than bigger box stores, but Ill pay them to work with the fine men and women employed there!

Nutter Hardware people are the greatest ! They are small town friendly folks in our big town setting. They go above and beyond helping our seniors. 92 year old friends hot water tank needed lit and Mr. Nutter came and lit it for her. Couldnt ask for better service than that.. Thank you Nutter Hardware.

Is a very good hardware store near Burlington area. I really like it a lot. The staff are very helpful, and they have everything you need at good prices. I highly recommend using this such a hardware store. Its a nice change compared to the super Giants.

There are two very nice very respectful elder gentleman that works at this store, hes always precise and helpful. But.... thats where the level of professionalism STOPS! I have shopped at this store more than a few times while being a resident of Upper Arlington. The attitudes are always the same, with everyone else. Maybe its because Im a African American, the staff always has a bad mood while assisting me. When I get to the register they dont want to bag my items or certainly touch my hand to receive cash. Im a very clean, classy lady. I notice the difference from how the greet and assist Caucasian customers, very friendly and warm. Not how they interact with me.

Everything was displayed nicely. A bit pricey, but the quality of product they carry and the customer service makes it worth it.

This place is a gem. I love the fact that when you walk in the door, they ask you what youre looking for in point you in the right direction. Customer service is not a lost art at this place! they have so many necessities, and even some hard-to-find items. Plus its right up the street!

We had Nutter do some work at our house. Not impressed. Didnt feel like it was a good value, didnt feel like they were being as honest as they should be, and wont call then again.The store has okay prices, a decent selection for the tiny size, and will do when the big box will take too much time.Not my first choice.

Today, I needed a trimmer, and the owner Chuck, helped me find the best one for me. Then one of his staff went out back, showed me how to operate it and started it up! All without asking, I never expected that kind of awesome service and will always be a loyal customer.

Nutter Ace Hardware is my favorite hardware store.Immediately after I had moved from the family home to an apartment near the Kingsdale Shopping Center, I would be at Nutter Ace Hardware, every few days, buying things that I had suddenly needed for the first time in my life.The staff at Nutter Ace Hardware is always helpful and is happy to answer questions [even about things that I am not necessarily planning to buy that day].And there are always free bags of recently-popped popcorn available near the entrance.

Love, love, Love this hardware store! When I first moved to UA I needed some wall mounts but wasn’t sure exactly what I needed. Bill saw me in the aisle staring overwhelmingly at their huge selection and offered to help. He came out to my car, measured my art piece and showed me what I needed to buy. Great store with products you cant find anywhere else

I’m a little annoyed at how I was treated at this store. I ordered a grill online (ship to store) with a promotion for free assembly and local delivery from the store. A few days later the store called me and told me my grill was ready for pickup. I asked them about the assembly and delivery and they pretended like they had no idea of that promotion and made me call the corporate number. Long story short i had to pick it up and assemble it myself.. and literally that next weekend they had a banner out front advertising their free delivery and assembly....

Yesterday I visited Nutter Hardware with a rather unique request. I was in the process of moving my late mothers furniture to a resale shop and we could not get one bolt removed to take apart the bed frame. The mover and I had already spent a couple of hours trying to take it apart and finally we somehow got it into my van and drove to Nutter. Several employees gave it a shot with the same results. By this time I was getting a bit emotional and along came Mr. Nutter - he told his employees he would get it done. He tried several different things and finally success.What I most appreciated besides the obvious is that he personally got involved, understood the sensitivity and took care of his customer. Im now a Nutter Hardware customer for life. Thank you!

Friendly, neighborhood, locally owned ACE Hardware store with that Norman Rockwell vibe. All the associates know their stuff, are extremely helpful & care abt your experience in their store. Its perfect to run in for everyday items and they do carry a little bit of everything you would be looking for at a hardware store. Keep in mind its not a Lowes or Home Depot and are hsppy to special order anything you may be looking for. And theres alwsys that personal touch, including an old-fashioned popcorn machine that pops free popcorn all day long!!
