There are few places that once you visit and enjoy the food it changes your entire perspective in life. This is one of those places...The Farmers Daughter is one of the most incredible dining experiences I have ever had the privilege of enjoying. The location is beautiful and scenic, and the restaurant is tastefully and carefully designed to echo the amazing food they serve. Everything is farm to table, and each meal is made fresh and with the utmost attention to detail. My favorite is Chicken and Waffle Benedict (if I had a last meal in life, this would be it). But every dish is delicious and will not disappoint. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and make you feel at home. The owner takes pride in their business, and from time to time, will walk around and check on everyone to ensure they are having a quality experience. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. I am so grateful to be alive and to have enjoyed such fantastic meals here. Congratulations to all the staff that work hard to make this place what it is.My only complaint is that you have ruined breakfast for me everywhere else because nothing comes close to what you do!Well done!
This place was great! My sister lured me here with the words hashbrown waffle, yup. You read that right. hash brown and waffle in one menu item. That alone, is worth the hype.My party of 3 ate for like 6 people for brunch. Even though the wait was a little long (about an hour on a Saturday around 11am - didnt get a seat til noon), service and staff was fantastic. Host was quick and efficient while our waiter was honestly the best. I wish I got his name, but hes one of those waiters you want to over tip for because hes so friendly and happy for us to be there but in a very genuine way. He only checked in on us about service maybe twice but wanted us to really enjoy our Saturday Brunch the fullest. He even timed our food properly so sharables came out first.Food was delicious. If I didnt already entice you with the hashbrown waffle - let me start with their drinks are the type of relaxing exhale you want after a stressful week. And if they managed to do that with non-alcoholic drinks, can you just imagine how much more of a sigh relieving sigh youd make with a mimosa from this place?! Loose leaf tea, pumpkin chai, regular coffee. All just *chefs kiss* and then the food. Did I mention the hash brown waffle yet? Next time I go Im going to be that person that hogs an entire waffle to themselves in addition to a meal. And yes even if we already ate for 6 people between the 3 of us. Thats how good this hashbrown waffle is. Farmers Benedict, pumpkin French toast special, and monte croissant-y were delicious too. The croissant-y was a bit sweet for me but next time Ill just have them put the syrup on the side instead of drenching it.Whatever you do though, please dont get the apple fritter. Unless you want apple pancakes with crunchy quinoa and apple cider syrup... it was still okay, I was just not envisioning pancakes = apple fritter. On that note, service 100/10, atmosphere 10/10, food 9/10 (purely for the weird fritter situation but the hashbrown waffle makes up for it.)
The food and service is amazing. It is all fresh and all natural. The price is iffy depending on what you order. I don’t drink but I hear the alcoholic drinks are amazing as well. My one issue is on seasoning. Very minimal seasoning used I am sure so that you can taste the natural flavors but I’m sorry I need some nice seasoning in my life !! You won’t go wrong here but go one hour before you want to actually eat because there is never a wait less than at least one hour.
Had the farmers choice with sweet potato turkey hash and bacon. never had a hash like that before and was really surprised at how flavorful it was especially since it has sweet potato which up until recently I was never really crazy about but this was 🤌🤌!! the bacon was thick cut and tasty really tasty some of the best bacon Ive ever had. i did however get a blueberry pancake that unfortunately did not taste enough like blueberries it was well done but not what I was looking for in a blueberry pancake. it was more like a coffee roll pancake with blueberries. atmosphere was great everybody was friendly great service Ill definitely be back.
Food was pretty good. I got the special berry french toast which was tasty but the raspberry seeds made for a weird bite. The chocolate almond butter toast taste like Nutella. The mimosa is nice but not as sweet as I expected. The waffle was really good, nice and fluffy. We got sat down right away but the food took longer than expected. Out door dining was nice. Be warned that this place can have waits up to 45 minutes. Overall I would definitely go back
We went to Eaton to visit the Borderlands and found this restaurant on the Toast app. It was really easy to order ahead for pickup and they had a easy to read menu with lots of photos. Glad we ordered ahead as there was an hour wait to get a table. The general manager was super friendly and the takeout food we ordered was delicious. We got the fried chicken & waffles and the beef farm burger! The portions were generous and the crispy smashed potatoes were tasty. Oh... and we got an hand written note! Can’t wait to come back for dine in!
Absolutely delicious! I have had brunch there a few times. The ambience is so beautiful, waitstaff are all wonderful and the food and drinks are absolutely delicious!! Plus outside seating has really cool screens to protect you from any insects in the air. I love this place!
Really nice atmosphere and get tasty food. I think they have the tastiest bacon Ive ever had (and Im not even that big a fan of bacon!). The pricing is a little high for breakfast but its honestly a nice treat for every now and then. The service is on point and the restaurant is very well kept.I would definitely recommend coming here.
Hands down the best breakfast Ive ever had. Great food and ambience. We went early because we heard theres a line and were seated right away. Cant wait to go back.
Best food, great service! The servers are polite, and they go out of their way for the Customer. Best breakfast I have ever had! They also have their own homemade adult drinks! Enjoy!
Absolutely amazing! We finally made it here and the food was delicious that I wish I had a second stomach so I could eat it again. Only negative thing I have to say is that you will have cravings the next day. I could have eaten the Chicken and Waffles Benedict today and probably enjoyed it as much as I did yesterday. I look forward to coming back to enjoy other dishes on the menu.
I Actually enjoyed my experience here today the food was delicious the service was impeccable! I will definitely recommend anyone to dine here with family, friends or on a date. The owner is friendly and funny. He made my Sunday an enjoyable day. Due to this place being so popular you may be in for a little wait but believe me it is well worth it!
This has to be one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. So fresh and delicious :with a great variety of options. It is really, really busy because it is really, really good. So my only suggestion is to go on off times
They use Yelp for call ahead seating. It was about 95 minutes I did it online, and I was about half an hour away. So we just took a nice walk around downtown found a boutique that we liked while we waited. It was worth the wait!! The food was so delicious. I got Todds knock your pants off banana pancakes, my daughter got the croissanty cristo, which was packed full of flavor! I will definitely go there again.
We both had the hamburger with salad. I had mine on a wheat wrap that was super tasty. We sat outside in the tint. The staff did an amazing job with making us feel safe with their COVID19 protocols of wearing their masks and gloves plus cleaning the tables between guests. I can highly suggest The Farmer’s Daughter if you are in the area.
A. M. A. Z. I. N. G. Food.I will come here forever. I’ve had this restaurant saved on my to go list for about six months and was so happy I finally got to visit. The staff were all awesome from the door till l left. The food is fresh and wholesome. You can tell it’s made with love. The flavors are so mind blowing. The cocktails were also a nice surprise. There is limited parking in front of the establishment; there is also outdoor sitting available.I can go on and on but you know what ? A TRIAL WOULD CONVINCE YOU!!! Go to the farmers daughters restaurant NOW ! Go !!!
This was a nice little restaurant, the food was fresh and delicious. The restaurant even though small has a menu with a variety of options for an amazing brunch experience, from strawberry pancakes to different options of eggs Benedict to choose from, chicken and waffles, omelets and the list goes on and on.The drink menu is no joke I truly enjoyed the mimosas and an very well executed latte. The only thing I say to watch out for is the wait time, this little restaurant is so popular with the locals that it tends to get full pretty fast, so be prepared to wait but I can assure you is well worth it.The price is fair for the quality of food that you are being served.
A very good breakfast location right on the main street. The food was very good. And there were a good variety of breakfast items to choose from. The portions were large
First time there for breakfast and what a treat! Great service, awesome food and the atmosphere is so very comfortable. Indoor and outdoor seating and with enough servers available to keep everybody happy. Love that this place is open and thriving. Keep up the good work folks!
This is my new favorite place! The food is AMAZING, the drinks are amazing! The place is beautiful and cozy! Clean and modern! The service is great! There might be a little wait to be seated and a little wait for the food to come but it’s totally worth it, guaranteed! I highly recommend it!!!! Everything is fresh and you can taste it! I promise you’ll love it!
Absolutely love this place. The staff and manager were so accommodating and pleasant. It was my first time and I brought my 2 yr old. The manager moved us to a booth without us having to ask. Thank you for that. The food was amazing and every dish coming out of the kitchen were beautiful. Cant wait to go back. Oh and loved that they used plexi to keep the guest safe. I wish it was closer to home but definitely worth the 40 minute drive.
The bloom is off the rose. This was one of our favorite places to eat as the pandemic lightened. Sure, there was a wait because they don’t take reservations But the service was crisp and the food excellent. Now you wait an hour to be seated and an hour to be served. The menu hasn’t changed in two months. The wait staff stands around as they wait for an understaffed kitchen to turn out still pretty decent food. There is a sign at the door stating that they are for all positions. After today, we’ve crossed TFD off the list and won’t be back.
Nice service. Small yet, okay set up. The food was not good! The French toast and potatoes were burnt. The fruit was smashed. And the prices are not so comfortable for the taste of the food. And they dont know how to make an omelet 😒.Extremely expensive. Yer, if they worked on the taste of the food the prices would be legit.
This was my first time going to The Farmers Daughter and it DID NOT disappoint. The food was so delicious. I had the eggs benedict with maple ham, added mushrooms with homefries on the side. I had a mimosa, which was sooo fresh! Martina was our server. She was TOP NOTCH. Very calm, cool and collected. Martina was very prompt with everything. We sat outside in the adorable mesh tent. It was a beautiful fall day with the sun beaming on us. It felt like we were in a hallmark movie. Im definitely going again! The wait time is long but well worth it!!
Whenever my friends suggest to go out for brunch I always tell them to go here. The food and drinks are amazing. My fav is the sweet potato hash.
Beautiful outdoor setup. Great breakfast options and service. Im sure to be a regular customer.
Good place great staff good presentation.
I can’t say enough positive things about this place. From start to finish, it was fabulous. There was an hour long wait when we came on a weekday, so I would suggest reservations if you don’t want to wait, but it’s definitely worth it even if you do come without reservations. The food is not only picturesque but it’s also tremendous in flavor, and it’s very good quality. Their chicken and waffles come with a bacon jam that ties the whole dish together, making the perfect combination of sweet and savory. Their farmers breakfast is a great sample of all your traditional breakfast foods, and they make a perfect over medium egg. Drinks are delicious, and the wake up call 2.0 (similar to an espresso martini) is delectable. Overall an exceptional brunch experience.
Love the decor. The waitress was great even though the place was jumpin. They have options for alcoholic drinks all day. The meal couldve been less expensive, but I ordered a Mimosa only because Id never had one. He enjoyed the frittata and his boozy beverage. Hot chocolate martini or something like that. I wasnt crazy about what I ordered, which was the chefs omelet du jour. I chalk that more up to me then the food. I really wanted to get the stuffed french toast (Ive heard its really good), but I was treating my partner for his birthday so I chose something less expensive. $80 for breakfast for 2 (not including the tip) wasnt really worth it for me. If we come back hes buying.
Service was excellent! Everything tasted great right down to the tea. Ordered the Farmers choice with poached eggs. Very good. Toast was a little more crunchy than I usually like but good. Potatoes were cooked nicely. Friend had the chicken and waffles. Had a little taste and it was also excellent. Ordered a hash brown waffle with smoked beef. Little too much food but well worth it. Would recommend this spot. We did get there before 8 AM and it was already extremely busy. We had to sit outside or wait 20 minutes for a table inside. Little on the pricy side for breakfast but ingredients were fresh and the atmosphere was very nice.
My breakfast was good although my husbands banana pancakes were just okay. Service was awesome. My waitress was wonderful.
This place is simply phenomenal ! The food is fresh and delightful . We came on a Friday morning and there was a half hour wait to get a table but it’s so worth it . We sat at the bar and Lorenzo and Crissy were so nice and attentive . Lorenzo is a funny guy and he has awesome suggestions . He was so pleasant and made our quick visit to this spot memorable! We ordered the mai Thai, vitamin c infused drinks, the brioche French toast, egg Benedict and the pork belly special . There is something on the menu for everyone. We didn’t leave a crumb ! Highly recommend this place
The wait can be ridiculous, UNLESS you go as a solo diner and sit at the bar (pro tip). Sweet, savory, boozy, this place continues to fire on all cylinders. Is it cheap? No! Is it worth it? Yes. You can tell that they kitchen takes pride in what they do, all the way down to the presentation. Front end staff is always polite, even if they are totally overworked in these crazy times.
My husband and I were looking for a new breakfast place to try--especially because it was his birthday and we hadnt gotten out much with the pandemic. The Farmers Daughter was such an amazing experience that we dined there two days straight! Both times, Ken ordered Eggs Benedict with Lobster. He is very picky about food, but called the Hollandaise sauce sublime and asked our server about the seasonings in the tomato jam. Wow. I had the Avocado Toast with eggs over medium. Yum! Even better than the same dish I ordered in a good Chicago restaurant. All this to say, everything about our experience was great. Hats off to Lorenzo, Casey, and whoever was cooking with love and finesse in the back.
Honestly this place is way overpriced and over hyped. The foods subpar all around and mostly dry bland and overcooked. The hostess is rude and clearly feels better than everyone. Food should be the topic of this review but it simply was not worth writing about compared to the rude staff. 10/10 perfect for Becky and chad to get smashed on morning booze drinks. 0/10 if you want a nice environment of good people and good food.
Great service and delicious food. I walked I thinking the photos must be photoshopped and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the photos matched the menus
Very good food nice quality they get a lot of their ingredients from local farms around only downside would be the waiting time but definitely it is worth it.
Very good breakfast, all locally sourced food. Good coffee and they also serve Mimosas and Bloody Marys.
Visited today and dined outside for breakfast. Had read many reviews from people with exceptional experiences and our visit did not disappoint. Loved the unique combinations and can’t wait to go back and try some of the breakfast drinks-it was a workday for me and the mimosas and blood Mary’s looked amazing. Highly recommend- great food quality, service and cleanliness.
Really good food. Amazing chicken & waffle
Original, local food, in a pretty setting. They do have a little bit of a bee issue if you sit outside.
Wow. Just wow.First off be prepared to wait on weekends. We went on a Sunday morning and literally waited an hour and a half but let me tell ya...it was well worth it. We had plenty of entertainment while we waited thanks to the lawn games across the street (cornhole-my wife definitely cheated though). Once we sat down we placed our order (see pics) and waited. It took some time (as the menu states) but good lord was it delicious. I had the chicken and waffle but instead of the waffle that comes with the meal I changed it to the hashbrown waffle. Solid choice. All in all definitely stop by this place. I will definitely be visiting often during the summer weekdays.
Miss coming here even though it was always so full. During the pandemic its even harder to get an available table ... We havent been able to go just yet..In any case, the food is on so amazing! Such a variety and such a good taste. The servants are always so cordial and regulars are always so kind. I love this place specifically for brunch, but it has other options, healthy ones too
So good! Food was awesome, service was awesome! Its a must! Only downside it seems to always be busy but thats because its so good.
Wish there was one closer. Used to live in Brockton and came there ALL the time (mostly for take out since the wait times are always long) Now I live in Weymouth and Try to go up there when I can. Love the chicken and waffles delicious ! Just all around amazing place. Favorite Breakfast spot. Thank you guys for all that you do !
Great place! Great food and wonderful staff. We love the breakfast bar drinks too!!
5 star restaurant for brunch all around. Great service and food is second to none for a breakfast/lunch spot in the area.
Different experiences each time we go. But never had a bad meal. Food is always fresh, always tasting good!!!
I am a Stonehill College graduate of 2020. Whenever I am coming to visit, I make sure to stop at The Farmers Daughter. The food is so so so yummy. I have never had a bad experience here. The staff is so kind and very knowledgable about the menu & where there locally sourced food is from. I will always go back here!
We have been trying to get here for a while now and finally made it to The Farmers Daughter this morning. There was a line waiting outside when we arrived 5 minutes prior to opening. We had checked out the menu last night online, so we were ready to order as soon as we were seated. I chose chicken & waffles benedict. So good. The bacon jam was incredible. My dining partner ordered Farmers Choice w slab bacon and white toast. If you havent been here yet, you should make the time to go.
The menu has lots of different offerings not typical to your local breakfast place. I ordered the brioche french toast square with a side of bacon and a cold brew coffee. My friend ordered an egg omelette which was a special selection off the regular menu also the avocado toast and a cup of hot coffee. We also shared to start a plate of fresh strawberries with some special sauce for dipping. I enjoyed mine but nothing to rave about but my friend did not like hers at all. The bill came and in was over $70 dollars which is absolutely rediculous!!!!!!! That is enough of a deterrent never to return.
Service and food was excellent. Best chicken and waffles in the area.
The wait was long. The food was good but not over the top! Came for the vegan options and there wasnt veggie sausage on the menu. Pancakes options were not vegan friendly either. The seating outside on a hot day was not ideal because its so close to the street and its just too hot. Finally when the food came out I couldnt enjoy it right away because the waiter failed to give me a fork promptly after mine fell on the floor when they were serving my meal.
TL; DRGo. Expect a wait. Know that its worth it.The ReviewFollowing a five-mile hike, I visited The Farmers Daughter with a crew of about nine. There was an hour wait, which locals say is typical. We left our name and then walked another mile. When we returned, our tables were ready. Our waiter was the charming Lorenzo. He told us about the days specials, treated us with kindness, and did not flinch when one table asked for individual checks for each person. He was great.I requested the Wicked Awesome Chicken Sandwich expecting it be more okay than wicked awesome. Turns out it was aptly named and was, in fact, wicked awesome. I loved it, and its rare that I love a restaurant sandwich. The woman across from me ordered a Farm Burger, which she loved and which was served as ordered - medium. And come on, more often than not, medium ends up looking more like medium-well.The young lady next to me ordered Tads Chicken Salad and loved it.The only downside - other than the wait, which we actually made the most of - was the noise level inside the restaurant. It was loud. But, given the quality of the food and the personality of our waiter, so be it.Oh, and I did notice that people who were waiting for a table were allowed to go to the bar to grab a beer and then take it with them to the line outside to enjoy. Thats also a plus.Bottom line: if I lived near here, Id be a regular, and if youre in the area, you should go to enjoy Farm-to-Table food, great local beer, a full bar, and solid service.
I love this place, but I just wish it was more accessible! You need to try the croissant deck monte christo. It is a croissant that is sort of French toast crispy glazed with an egg served your way with a tasty crispy yet melty cheese and ham on top. It is also served with a refreshing salad that is sweet and tangy. So absolutely amazing. The vanilla orange banana bread pudding French toast thing is also amazing.I only have this place 4 stars because they do not accept reservations, call ahead, or open table. Honestly its a good problem to have, but can mean 2 hour wait times on busy holiday weekends at peak times. Woof!...still freaking worth it though!
At Farmers daughter getting ignored by the waitress. Restaurant halfway empty but it took at hour to get out food.
I saw the Yelp reviews on TFD and stopped in for breakfast. Our waitress, Lisa, provided terrific service. I had the lobster Benedict and my wife had the Morning Waffle. There was not a crumb of food left on either plate. Our breakfast was SUPERB! Id go out of my way to stop there again.
Really good fresh food. It just gets a bit pricy for breakfast.
Ive been here a few times and I am always impressed by the benedict with challah. The rotating specials usually have some unique flavor combos, and the spiked espresso beverage was super tasty. Usually a longer wait on busy times, so plan ahead!
We didnt wait long but..... there was still a wait on a weekday morning. The service was spectacular! The menu is not a traditional, but with a twist. The price is a bit too much for me, however, in this case I got for what I paid for - no regret. For two people our bill came out to $50 not including gratuity. Will I come back? Yes! The ambiance is busy but yet its calming. The ladies room was clean. Everything is organised.Update: 5/2018Second time around, there was a wait for table of 2. I tried one of their special. To be honest, in my opinion, this place gets alot of hype. Dont get me wrong, this place does provide the service and can live up to your expectations. The price is really ridiculous, this time, about $60 for two people. The taste is not really great, not really bad either. Yes its fresh, yes its local.
Great food. Highly recommend the place for brunch
