I loved the owner beautiful person he really sat down and really explained to you to the differences of beds and worked with you of the budget you have. He makes you feel very grateful that people like him still exist. Hell even give you deals on beds even if youre outside your budget I mean really give you a very good deal.

Sean is the guru of mattresses. Period. It was my first day moving into Champaign and I needed a mattress pronto. Sean was able to fit me into his schedule on short notice, didnt pressure to me to buy, encouraged me to try different mattresses to see which I liked, took the time to explain the different mattress types and how they were different from each other as well as why I felt this way or that on specific mattresses. I went back and forth between different mattresses and he didnt once make me feel like I was taking up too much of his time. He even delivered my set (frame, box, and mattress) on the same day--within the hour in fact because he knew I didnt have a mattress in my new place for the night. What a gem! God bless you, Sean. We were looking for a mattress on a Sunday which is not very easy. Sean graciously opened up his store for us and let us view his selection with absolutely no pressure. The store was clean and Sean was very knowledgeable. We confidently purchased our mattress and it was delivered same day! We would highly recommend!

For starters, I messaged him on facebook to find out prices for a full size pillow top. He told me they started at $100. So I scheduled a time to come look. He was on-time, his warehouse was very clean. But upon my arrival, the best mattress he could show me for 100 was about 4 inches thick and might be handy for camping, but certainly not something I would shell out 100 bucks for, when air mattresses are bigger and cheaper. He was very pushy about us spending at least 300 dollars. Showing us overpriced mattress(some of which had blue stains on them). He kept saying we needed to get the more expensive mattress due to my weight(without out right calling me fat), but also saying it would be better for our kids to jump on(even though I kept telling him we dont have children). He also accused me of lying to him about what I was willing to spend, forgetting entirely about the conversation we had just two days prior. I had initially come there thinking I wouldnt spend more than $150. He immediately showed us $300 to $500 mattresses. We did end up buying this hard as a brick mattress for $200. Because he said it was the best he could do. He has all of his mattresses listed for much lower prices on facebook marketplace, but they are actually quite expensive. He also was trying to make me give him a good review before I left. I refused.

Very rude and disrespectful. I came for my appointment and observed a couple speaking with the owner and a kid running rampant around the store. I was asked to wait outside and did. Fine, no big deal. When it was my turn to go inside He didn’t know who I was from our conversation yesterday, grabbed my information and proceeded to show me the two beds that he had available. My children were testing out mattresses because they know the mattresses are for them. I told them not to climb on the other mattresses and he proceeded to tell them also. Another couple comes in, He leaves us to go speak to them, had a conversation for a few minutes and then came back. At this point I am asking questions about the mattresses and my children are rubbing the mattresses with their hands, not even on top of them and he proceeds to get loud with my children and say “ I’ve told you several times to stay off of the mattresses!” I proceeded to reassure him that I have already voiced those directions to them and that I’m their mom and I’m right here. He proceeds to attack my character as a mother by saying “Well obviously you don’t know how to control your kids”. At this point I walk out. I told him that he was rude and disrespectful and I also pointed out to him that the other kid Was running wild jumping on and off of beds when I walked in and they did not receive the same treatment. On the way out, the couple that he had spoken to that came in while I was there, was sitting inside, in chairs waiting. So at this point I feel that this whole interaction was discrimination. Because mind you the couple that was there prior to me was a different skin color and the couple that got there after me was a different skin color. But the couple before hand no issue with their son running rampant around the store and the second couple had no issue with being allowed to wait inside. I will never shop here and I don’t recommend any person of color to shop here either. I don’t claim discrimination unless it is factual and this incident was unacceptable. Was it my skin color or because I was by myself with no male present? Either way it’s discrimination and to attack my character as a mother is completely unacceptable. Compared to the child that was there before, my children were well behaved.

I’m laying in my new bed and I COULDN’T be happier. Last night was the best sleep I’ve had in years. Sean was so great. I tried to go somewhere else in town and they were so hard to deal with. Sean got us in right away and took his time helping us understand mattresses and making sure we got the best thing for us and value for our money. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. I visited Boxdrop after seeing an advertisement on Facebook. Though initially wary, I’m very happy I chose to purchase a mattress here - Sean was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process.
