I had an order entered wrong into the system, when they hand wrote the order correctly onto the ticket. I told them that this is not what I had ordered. The resolution was the employee telling me that is what I paid for.I guess my tip when coming here is double check with them multiple times if they got the order correct because the fault is on the customer.If you like amazing food, but arent opposed to not getting what you ordered come on over and maybe be satisfied. You will most definitely get what you paid for!

Cool store, not quite the selection I wanted but still large enough to warrant 4 stars.

I often buy the pre-made taco al pastor pork meat here and it has always come out perfect. The new location is much easier to park at and shop in. Their selection of Latin foods is very good. Friendly helpful staff.

The new store on Cunningham is a great upgrade from their old location. The customer service is excellent whenever we go- the meat service is quick and the cashiers do not mind letting us use our own reusable bags!If you’re looking for great latino food, this is a great place to go. Additionally, if you’re looking for fresh produce, they have a wide variety to offer.

Has a lot of Mexican goods. The store is nice and the staff is helpful and friendly. The only thing that we did not like is the neighborhood. There were many people asking for money outside the store and street lighting is not sufficient. I would recommend going during daylight.

This place is awesome they have a good selection on meat, especially meat to make soup. They also have a variety of authentic Mexican drinks as well as bread and icecream bars. They also have a good selection of seasonings and meat marinade. They also make pork rinds fresh, as well as a selection of beef or chicken taco meat with seasoning and peppers already added, so all you have to do is cook it up over the skillet.

The only place to get milagro tortillas. If youre from Chicago you know they are a must. Meat is a slightly over priced, but still has many authentic mexican items.

I have been to both Progreso stores, in Urbana and Champaign, and neither know where their Mexican breads (sweet breads) come from, nor do they know the ingredients, and are far away lost about the Nutrition Facts. Not good, and the city should be doing a better job on that all products should be labeled with this information. The same should be with ALL bakeries (Pankera, Panera, etc., etc., etc) which all of them dont provide this information. It could be dangerous and they can be sued. They should inform the public on the ingredients and Nutrition Facts.

100% biased post. I work there. We have the freshest meat in town. Best avocados with pico de gallo, you can make guacamole to die for! Spices that are very unique and probably only get them here. We are a small shop so our products have to be the best.Ever wonder how local small grocery were like back in the day before a big chain came into town? Come by to see what a local mom and pop latin grocery store is like. Shop local and come by this family business.
