Will never buy shoes anywhere else. I have struggled to find shoes that fit for decades. When pain sent me to the foot doctor, he recommended an orthotic, and I spoke with Van at Heel to Toe and it changed my life.Yes, I had to get new shoes because the old ones were worn on one side so badly because of the original foot issue. But I went from barely being able to walk to walking with no pain inside of a week.
My doctor sent me to this place because I had some discomfort on my feet, no pain. She recommended to get some insoles with inserts only. The staff were nice, asked me to wait for the expert. Without asking many questions the expert recommended to buy new shoes. He seemed frustrated when I didnt take his recommendation. I got the insoles with the insert but now my problem foot and my knee feel very uncomfortable. This was a couple of days ago, if the problem continue Ill have to see my doctor again. On the plus side they have a nice selection of shoes, its a relatively large store.
Today me who is a autistic adult and my mother went to heel to toe not really intending on buying anything. but after a few minutes ot wondering around we met a wonderful employee named Jamie who was the sweetest person I have ever met she helped me not feel so trapped an Not as triggered as I thought I would have been she went out of her way making small talk an asking about my pets I never for a second felt triggered around miss jamie. She helped me pick out the shoes I feel in love with! and with 2 pairs of shoes in hand and a amazing experience I left heel to toe with a happy mind set which just made my day so much better as a whole. Thank you thank you miss jamie you are truly a amazing person. And a blessing ❤❤
Overpriced to say the least, shoes are okay but you can definitely find the same thing for a more reasonable/affordable price. They also really need to work on their employees.
Staff member was very helpful and frank about what products I may need. This place has an excellent reputation among the people I know. Highly recommend this store!
Very helpful and knowledgeable with evaluation of stride and about corrective measures a, great selection..wonderful repair service. I have shopped here for years and will continue to do so. I am posting for myself, at work, on break. This statement does not reflect the opinion of the Village. VS
I have literally been to half a dozen shoe stores and spent a lot of time online looking for shoes today. Heel to Toe was without a doubt the best choice and your employee, Jayme S was the reason I made a purchase. She was the nicest person Ive met all day and she made a deliberate effort to make sure I made the right choice. I will be a repeat customer. Thanks Jayme!
I cant say enough nice about this store. If you are looking for any kind of shoe they have it. They will also go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable both in person and in your feet. Our helper, Robert, went out of his way for several hours using patience and understanding along with his knowledge to help myself and my mother get the right shoes. I just simply cant thank them enough.
The staff here are amazing. They are super knowledgeable and helpful. They listen really well and I always end up with a very comfortable shoe that fits my needs whether it be standing while working all day, walking, or jogging. The shoes are a little expensive but they have seasonal sales that make it more affordable.
The staff overall are super knowledgeable and work their butts off to find what will make your feet happy. The shoes will cost more than Kohls, but you have to realize you are getting a WAY better product--try to find, for example, the higher numbered New Balance shoes at Kohls--like the 1080; you wont. Its also a local store, and I suspect they treat their workers well, as I notice many have been there since I first walked in the door about 12 years ago.
Awesome service and knowledgeable people price meets quality of shoes you select. Very Happy.
Sales Associate was helpful but more interested in the Sale...I ended up with shoes that are wide and I dont need wide shoes
This is my go-to place for footwear. My jobs have me taking 22K+ steps a day and Im a big guy, so finding the right shoes and arch support was critical. Heel To Toe helped me find just what I needed. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Some of the footwear is expensive, but Ive tried the cheap stuff and paid for it with foot pain. I need quality shoes that last and hold up under heavy use. From heavy duty boots, to more comfortable but sturdy walking shoes, to slip-ons I wear around the house - I buy all my footwear here.
Excellent, prompt and quality service! They fixed two pairs of shoes (replaced the heels) in two days and called me when they were done. The job on the shoes was done perfectly.
Absolutely terrible customer service. I had given them 6 pairs of shoes, of which 5 were suede moccasins and 1 was a casual sneaker; to have them all cleaned. The lady at the desk was extremely unhelpful and totally clueless of any cost, services or timelines. They had asked me call them the next day to see if the work was complete, and so I did. I was told over the phone that in fact, they had finished the work. When I reached the store to pick up the pairs of shoes, I found them none of them had even been touched; except the newest of the lot, a blue suede moccasin. They had tried cleaning that pair with some waxy substance, which seems to ruin it, so they stopped abruptly on one of them and left it as is. Now that pair is completely un-wearable as both shoes look very different from each other (colors and textures are different). As for the other 5 pairs, they just shrugged their shoulders and said that the shoes were too worn out to be able to do anything. One their website, they say that they can take any shoe and make them look as good as new, and their expertise deals with refurbishing worn out shoes. They also took no responsibility for the damage caused to the newest of the 6 pairs, while asking me to learn to take better care of my shoes. What an absolute rip-off!
Attention to detail, very helpful. Great looking shoes!
Poor service, small selection of shoes and inflated prices. Had a gift card and chose not to make a purchase.
Nice selection of high quality shoe brands. Very helpful staff.
I highly recommend Heel to Toe. Its not a fashion shoe kind of store, but if youre looking for European brands (including Haflinger and Birkenstock), running shoes, hiking shoes, as well as comfortable everyday shoes, the staff will work with you to find the right shoe for you. They also do custom orthotic inserts and made me a pair of orthotics for a new pair of hiking boots. I developed a painful bone spur in one of my toes a couple of years ago, and Ive now gone on three moderate hikes with them with only minimal discomfort (as opposed to stabbing pain). They also found me a pair of shoes for work and modified the insole it came with to make it more comfortable. The store is pricier than if you get the same shoes online, but the attention from the staff is definitely worth it.
Great, knowledgeable folks offering wonderful customer service!Wide selection of quality products for all age groups.
I went here a few weeks ago to get some Birkenstocks. The selection was very large and the sales staff were all attentive. They measured my feet and promptly helped me pick a pair, sent me home with a sheet about how to care for my shoes, and made sure I knew all the important information about care so I would not have any issues. All of my questions were answered, overall a great experience! Before coming to Heel to Toe, I went to Mossers Shoes and couldnt get anyone to help me for 45 minutes, and the store wasnt even busy! I will definitely come back to Heel to Toe.Tl;dr - great service, huge selection, will return.
This was the worst experience with a retailer in my entire life. It was a horrible experience and the customer service by the owner, manager and another staff member were deplorable. I was a return customer, having worn the same New Balance running shoe for at least 7 years. I was advised by a sales woman to go with an 8 ½ wide when I have always worn an 8 medium. Against my verbalized concerns that the shoes were not as snug as I was accustomed to and thought that they would stretch and become loos upon use, I deferred to her so-called expertise fitting shoes. During my first run, I had to stop twice to tighten the laces. They were stretching… I called the store about the problem and explained the situation to the manager. The manager was amenable to replacing the shoes, but they did not have my size in stock, and had to order my size. Very surprisingly, he could not tell me when they would ship from New Balance nor arrive in the store. He “guessed” that it would take about 4 business days, because a shipment was due “early” the following week. But, he said that there was no guarantee that the shoes would be in the shipment. After 4 business days, he did not contact me, so I called him. He told me that he had ordered the wrong size, and so my shoes were not with the shipment. He gave me a lame apology about being too busy and said that he would order the shoes again. Since I could not wear the shoes to run comfortably, I asked him if he would expedite the shipment or get the shoe from another local store. He resisted and said that they had never expedited an order before and that it would take just as long to get the shoe from a local store than the New Balance factory. After the second time ordering the shoe, the manager told me that my shoes would arrive in about 4 or 5 business days. I received a call 3 days later saying that my shoes had arrived. When I went to pick them up, I discovered that, AGAIN, the wrong size was ordered. The salesman who helped me said that the right size was ordered and that New Balance sent the wrong size. I asked him to fix the situation and to call me to let me know what he had done to resolve it. He never called me and I called the store manager then next day. He gave me more lame excuses and apologized. Again, surprisingly, he said something about how he is always prone to making mistakes. He said that he himself (not New Balance) had AGAIN ordered the wrong size. So, who was telling the truth, the salesman from the day before or the manager? I told him that I was very unhappy and that the only reason that I was returning was because I had worn this shoe for so long and had been happy with it. I also told him that I thought that he needed training in customer service. (He clearly did not know how to rectify a situation when faced by an unhappy customer.) He became silent, so I had obviously hurt his delicate feelings. I found out the owners name, and when I spoke with him he was only apologetic for the circumstances to the extent that he said that “these things happen”… and that I should understand. He compared the situation to his experience at KFC when they never give him gravy for his potatoes even though he orders it every time. It’s hard to see how they equate given that the shoe and his store are high-end and KFC is cheap fast food. I think most people expect high customer service when they are paying premium prices for their shoes. When I told him that I had hoped he would be more sympathetic to me as the “customer”, he was then unapologetic. I told him that I would no longer patronize his store after I got my shoes. The owner then became very defensive. He actually started blurting something about how customers come into the store drunk and claim that they will never return, and that they always do. I responded that I would make things easy for him and return the shoes and never patronize his store again. That was that. I had had enough. He accused me of being abusive and hung up on me. I returned the shoes and I will never go there again.
Excellent service huge selection of high quality shoes well worth the hour and a half drive I take to buy there
Great customer service.
They injured my toes with there heel lifts, now I have foot problems. I have 160 dollars in store credit there that I will never use now. Horribly overpriced. No parking. I will never return to this place.
Friendly, lots of. Services
