This has to be the worst best buy I have ever visited. I went to the store to do an upgrade on my account that should have been a walk in the park..... After a 2 hour wait while the best buy rep worked on the upgrade while being on her personal phone the whole time texting, I was told I couldnt do the upgrade and had to purchase the phone outright. I made a call to Verizon and was immediately transferred to the fraud department. The Verizon rep said that best buy ran my application for an upgrade so many times they flagged my account. After getting that straightened out, I decided to do everything online myself and do curbside pick up. Another process I thought would be an easy process but it wasnt. It was supposed to be ready within an hour but after a 2 hour wait, I ended up having to go into the store to pickup my device which they hadnt even started to get ready for pickup. Then during pickup they started saying they couldnt activate my device and this was another waiting process. I WILL NOT be using this this best buy again

Literally incompetent. Went in minutes after opening and the day of release and product wasnt on shelves. I asked an associate for help and they said it was sold out. They didnt have it available even though release date was today (and literally every other bestbuy close to us (hours away) has the product in stock). They called a manager over and the manager said it might still be on the truck we were supposed to empty last night. So annoying.

I ordered a proform bike on 8/26 and scheduled a appointment for delivery and a paid fee for installation for 9/13. Somehow on there end of the system it shows that I never made a appointment and now indicates for me to make one again. When trying to do so it shows there are no appointments available for September or any other upcoming months. Ive called several times for the past 2 weeks and no one is able to correct the issue. Now again today Im on hold and still no resolution. We have no local best buy in my town so now Im having to get up and drive to that location of the store. So disappointing.

The store is well organized. The staff on the other hand. The floor customer service was very pessimistic all about a printer. He seemed disturbed about having to order the printers. The store only had 2 printers in stock. But no worries I found a printer at Target for less anyways.

Its unfortunate that I often have mediocre customer service here. Most recently I inquired about a refridgerator and the young lady made it quite clear that she was not interested in helping me. I honestly needed to purchase immediately but I left and took my money to a competitor that was willing to answer questions. Its sad though because the 12 months same as cash was appealing.

Nothing to do with the look of the establishment or the service of the employees ... Im giving 3 stars cause theres really not much at this Best Buy store . I live in Connecticut a very small state, & everything else in Valdosta size wise blows CT out the water (for stores, food, gas stations, etc) . Well this is the one case where the CT store was way better, like 4x as big so much more options . As example they dont have simple household appliances like a iron or steamer .

It was an alright experience for my choice at first I found what I was looking for right away. But only down side was wait time for help. I had a guy from the geek squad to call for support for me so overall it wasnt that bad they had one left just for me too. Will definitely give a better rating next time.

I had purchased an item online and went to the store to pick it up and when I got there the one they had set aside had a small hole in the box. The associate went and found another one that was the exact same thing but the box was in good shape and switched them out for me even though the product was fine inside the box. He wanted to make sure that we received a product that was in great condition.

Do not try to shop here if you have a medical condition that keeps you from wearing a mask. We were followed around the whole store and told rudely to leave because we cant wear one. Told them we had a $1000 to spend in their store and they said so what. Put a mask on now. So we left. Happily took our money down the rode to another store.

LOVE it!!! I got the last awesome HP from there yesterday and the guy was quite helpful. Laptop was $1000+ but the conputer section was organized and the tags matched the laptops and everything was clean. And they actually had it in STOCK. Couldnt say the same for Walmart and Target. 🤷🏾‍♀️ Laptop has been just AWESOME since I purchased it. I recommend. I gave them 4 stars because you cant purchase a phone there without a plan. How inconvenient.

For most part this place may as well be completely self serve. The sales staff are not very knowledgeable about the products that they sell, prices are not very reasonable. The management is at best very poorly trained and their geek squad are very very good rip-off artists. The name of the game is can you make it out with your bank account intact and a product that works.

Borderline theft. Ordered a PS5 early on 11/23/20, probably about 6 am. Console was suppose to be picked up in store that coming Friday. They would not ship it. Go to get the console Friday and they told me the consoles had not even come into the store yet. This is mid-late afternoon. People in the store said that I could call the warehouse to check on the status of the delivery, to which when I reached the warehouse they were rude and refused to tell me any information. Then they updated the orders to possibly being available on Dec. 4th. Figured I’d give them the benefit of the doubt, but then they updated the order status again to being possibly available Christmas Day. So I’ve cancelled the order. Not calling out any stores in particular, just the company as a whole should not sell a product that they cannot deliver. That is a form of theft. This has been one of the worst experiences with a retailer I’ve ever had and refuse to personally do business with Best Buy again. This experience wouldn’t have been as bad had someone in the store actually answered the phone one of the many times I tried calling over three days, and I had not wasted a 2 hour round trip to go to my nearest Best Buy.

Went into the store today to make some purchases.Salesman comes up and said sir you have to have a mask on.I showed them my inhaler and said I was not wearing one due to having breathing issues.He said he would have to get a manager.She came up and said we had to wear a mask or a shield.I told her I would wear a shield.While she was gone to get a shield another salesboy walked up with an attitude right off the bat.Very rudely said I have an inhaler also so youre going to put a mask on.I said you can wear it but Im not.Yelled at me loud enough everyone in the store could hear him.Well you can get out of my store.I will never step foot in that store again.

Went to look at some games which are all about out of stock. No big deal. My mask fell off my nose as my string was loose. Before I could put it back on some guy runs out of nowhere like that mask police and yells Sir! Can you please pull your mask above your nose. I not only walked out, will never go there again. It was the way he yelled it 3 ft from me. Was disappointed to begin with when I walked in and asked for help but no one seemed interested. But let a mask fall and then they talk to you...give me a break. Thumbs down.

Georgia is open no restrictions but not best buy thought no mask no service so not being a sheep I told them I will shop in a store that values my rights and freedoms so I went to a local tech shop in downtown and bought what I wanted with no mask no so I am distancing and no political bull being forced upon my life. Lets deal with the bad, first. The store is a bit small, but serviceable. Closing so early on a Saturday is INSANE, but practically the entire city closes early on Saturday.That said, my wife and I entered the store with intent to buy a couple of items. The prices are not all clearly marked, so having an employee do a price check may be necessary.We got into line to check out (because of closing time) behind several other customers. An employee by the name of Nia came up and took us in a different lane to help. We asked for a price check and she was happy to do so, but when she discovered what I needed one of the items for she knew the one I had would not be suitable for what I wanted. She very quickly went back into the store and brought up a better option.She had a pleasant attitude and was very helpful. More people should be this helpful when a customer needs assistance!I sincerely hope her employer sees and appreciates this review, because it is a nightmare trying to give any feedback on Best Buys website. If you have an ad block or something that prevents tracking, the feedback button will apparently not work, according to one of their representatives directly. Why is this? Are they wanting to track you or shove more advertising down your throat just for giving your opinion?Forget that!THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP, NIA, AND BEST WISHES IF YOU EVER SEE THIS!

Not very friendly or helpful. I understand its after the holiday but recently a family member had an encounter with an employee there who was less than helpful. When my family member encountered a problem with the product they purchased (a TV that had a broken screen when they took it out of the box) the staff member told them it was my family members fault the TV was broken when they removed it from the box. He then went on to say they should have transported it upright. The only problem is that he was the one who loaded it laying down instead of upright and did not say anything to indicate it needed to be transported in a different manner. I wont purchase anything from the Valdosta store again and I wont recommend it to anyone else.

Just bought a $2,000 TV from them a couple of months ago with no issues. However, this week my daughters phone had to be sent back to Samsung to be repaired so I thought I would buy her a cheap tablet to use until her phone is returned. I chose a $150 dollar Lenovo tablet and a universal case. I did notice they had some open box of this item available at this store but $150 is already cheap so I chose new. I purchased online with the hopes of using curbside pick up after working all day. When they brought the tablet out to me in a bag, everything seemed OK. However, when I pulled the box out of the bag, I immediately noticed it had been opened as the seal had been broken and the tablet itself had fingerprints on the back of it. I told myself I dont even care that I paid for a new tablet and they have given me a used one, its just temporary, and I want to get home. The battery was completely dead so I had to charge in my car for a few minutes. When the tablet came on, it asked for a PIN to be entered. I got out of my car and went inside to explain that I didnt care they had given me an open box tablet when I paid for a new tablet but the tablet needed to be reset. I was told the manager would work on it. After 25 minutes, they gave me the tablet back and it had been reset. I thought it interesting they never addressed the new vs. Open box issue but..whatever. I go back out to my car. The tablet prompted me to enter an email address as part of setup. However, after entering my email address, the tablet informed me that it was already associated with another email and that email would be needed to access the tablet. At this point, Im becoming aggravated. I re enter the store and speak to the young manager who had reset the tablet earlier. I try to explain to him the situation (honestly Im confused why Im having to explain to a manager of an electronics store how tablets are useless once an account has been established on them unless the account is removed so a new one can be established). He tells me that me putting in the wrong password is not the stores fault and there is not much he can do. I realize I have no idea what the lady had told him the first time I came in because I had not spoken to him directly. So I tell him that Im not sure what he was told but the tablet was open box and that is why it has requested a PIN previously. He tells me there is no way it could have been open box and me forgetting a password is not his problem. At this point, Im starting to wonder if they did not know the tablet was used and were pulling something funny here. I tell him I have no reason to lie about the tablet and that, what was supposed to be a nice surprise for my daughter had turned into a nightmare. Honestly, had they helped me resolve the issue with the tablet so it was rendered usable, I would still have been fine taking it. However, the manager Tristan said do you want your money back and I said, after how you have acted, yes. I also told him I was literally in shock because I have been dealing with best buy for years and had had zero issues but the mangers had mostly been older and more mature. He spends 20 minutes (you just cant make this stuff up) trying to issue me a refund..sorry but it shouldnt take a manager this long to carry out a simple task that he does frequently. He then tells me that he can refund me today without the tax or I can come back tomorrow and he can refund the full amount. At this point, I have zero reason to trust this boy will follow through on his word. He pushes the tablet toward me and I inform him that I dont trust the tomorrow idea so Ill just take my money today minus the tax although I did not understand the reason the full amount could not be included today. I try to explain that people make mistakes and its ok..that the tablet was open box..he tells me, oh, a mistake was definitely made but not on our end. Wow! No words. A manager has called a customer who spends alot of money in this store per year a liar, not once, but twice in this exchange. This location...WORST BUY.

Worst experience ever, I ordered a tv and called the store to make sure I could pick it up the same day. They said as long as you make it here by 8:00P.M. we will bring the tv out to you. I drove an hour away to Valdosta and checked in at 7:30 they said wait in your car and we will bring it out shortly. I waited an hour and still nothing, there was never anyone at the store. I’ve talked to six people and all they want to do is refund me my money. I said no someone is paying for my fuel and time wasted driving that far. Finally a manager says we can compensate you and transfers me to another dept and they hang up on me. I called back and the lady transferred me again and it says the dept is closed. So now I don’t have a tv to watch and I’m out of $700. I will never buy from Best Buy again!!!!!!!!

I don’t remember the sales associates name, however his customer service skill was exemplary and amazing! I told him I had an iPad 6gen and in need of the pencil. He knew the product, knew what I needed and I was in and out within a few minutes. He wore glasses and had locs. I wish I remembered his name, however, he was quick, efficient and helpful.

I thought the customer service here was great. I was greeted immediately and directed to the laptops. Once there another employee helped me choose a laptop that met my needs and purchase it right there. I was in and out in 20 minutes. To make it even better I happened to notice a price drop occur on what I bought so I called and was immediately given a refund for the difference no problems at all. Definitely will make me consider checking Best Buy for a lot more than I used to.

Today 2 of my family members went to best buy in valdosta. Upon entering, they were told they gad to wear masks. One family member told them they had asthma. The company employee proceeded to tell my family member that the store manager would be following them since the family member was not wearing a mask. Needless to say, they left without shoppong. I ask u- how is the store manager following aperson around going to protect anyone from covid? To make matters worse- the company policy per their web site states people with underlieing health issues does not have to wear a mask. Poor decision on best buys part!!
