Has good selection of sporting goods and clothes. Parking is readily available, but most important to me is the way they help you especially with shoes. Theres a couple of really nice young men who are always patient, and helpful. It makes the experience of getting kids shoes positive and actually pleasant

Went in there with an appointment on Thursday, but store was very busy (Truck Day). A great Manager (1st Assistant?) immediately rescheduled me for today and what I assume was the Store Manager (could be vice versa so pardon my assumption) addressed me and I was able to pay, take care of the appointment and walk out without any trouble. Great customer service provided to me and I will be back to this store for purchases in the future. Thanks.

Today 7-18-20 There only letting 2 people in at a time. The lady sitting outside said sometimes people take an hour that’s how they shop... that’s crazy smh So I said I can be standing out here for an hour? Her response “yes” Lady’s and Gentlemen just like that without a care in the world.

Big 5 Vallejo is well stocked with a variety of products to meet the individuals needs.

No one greeted us or asked if we needed any help and the store wasnt busy at all, maybe there was one other customer.

Staff were very helpful finding everything I needed quickly and are very polite.

Clean store with plenty of merchandise to choose from. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Went in to look at a pellet pistols they had a crosman .177 and a 22. For $79.99 but if you go to Napa Big 5 the .177 is $ 69.99 my question could you sale .22 pellet the same price as a .177 pellet Crosman ?

I was treated unfairly by the manager Jonah while trying to purchase my first rifle. He told me that I needed my passport as final proof. Mind you I had on my United States postal service badge from work, with two forms of ID. For Jonah that wasn’t enough.

I enjoy shopping at the Vallejo, CA location.They always have friendly, knowledgeable people. This is what separates Big 5 from the big, expensive sporting goods store.

Not to knock Big 5 but I just wish there was a sporting goods store in Vallejo that had more selection of things. This store has always been able to take care is my basic needs but sometimes you need more

Didnt have what I need but a good store

Got what we needed, a little more pricey than Amazon, but able to touch and hold item before purchase. Girl at the checkout seemed new so was not too knowledgable.

Out of so much and the store is a mess. But if your in a pinch you can find the basics there. Everyone has not gotten over the ppl who broke in and ransacked most stores in Vallejo.

This place is not anything but a shoe store.Fourth time going to the store to pick up my order.I placed it 25 days ago and they called me 3 times saying that it had arrived .I go their and they say it sid not come in yet.

Always pleasant sales associates at this location. Today they went the extra mile to find the exact color canopy I wanted of a special sale priced model from the backroom stock. This location deserves to be a little bigger is the only downside.

Maybe not the most neat Big 5 but the staff was helpful and it was a quick in and out experience.

Unfortunately, it was one of the worst retail experiences I have had at this location. Staff was very interested in greeting or helping patrons of the store. They were nearly flat out rude when I asked about the location of an item that was tucked away in cabinets. Not sure what happened to this store but the customer service was really bad during this visit and it made me wonder why I just didnt buy what I was looking for on Amazon. May not go back

The manager at that location went above and beyond to help me with my request for a product I really want. Thats what I call great customer service!

Plenty of parking. There were many homeless begging in the area, but not right in fry of the store. Store was not crowded and had to wait less than one minute. Excellent prices.

Visited on sale day personel very eager, polite to wait on you, help you find what you came in for, clean and in order, ask you for permission to check your purchases, if you wanted a bag or not, and each on a salutation when you were leaving the counter.

Best place for my to find an excellent athletic shoe in a size 14 US and at reasonable price. Only thing that sucks is the service at the shoe department is non-existent, but you know....Vallejo

Friendly, helpful staff, equipment and supplies for a wide variety of sports and activities. A lot of stock crammed into a modest-sized storefront. Shoes aplenty.

They had good customer service, but its deteriorated quite a bit. Their relatively new manager, Dan, does not value customer service. Often, prices are higher than other places, and theyre not very good about getting you the current prices, especially on sales items.UPDATE: Its gotten a bit better, so Im updating it a bit.

People are nice and helpful but the shoe selection is too minimal needs to get bigger I can never find shoes for my son there because the selection is too small

Went there today to buy ammo. I waited 10 minutes before I had to look for someone to help me. The lady says someone will be right there. I wait approximately another 7 minutes and walk up to the main cash register again to ask for assistance. A pale, chubby employee looks at me and says in an annoyed voice that hell be right there to help me and that he was helping someone else. The only other person I saw was the 1st female employee I originally asked help from. If you people are anti gun or anti 2nd ammendment then maybe you should find a retail job that doesnt deal with guns or ammo or maybe you should mature a little bit and realize that not all people have the same hobbies. Leave your personal feelings at the door and act in a professional manner. Needless to say Ill never buy anything from this big 5 ever again. The ammo I was looking for was much cheaper at regular price at Walmart vs big 5s sale price.
