I purchased a gold chain at Matthew James to go along with a cross I had previously purchased for a godchild’s christening gift. The salesperson Jonathan was extremely helpful and professional and made some great suggestions such as purchasing a longer chain with extender which I appreciated - they made the adjustment to the necklace while I waited a few minutes. Jonathan also gave me a very good price on the chain and a team cleaned the cross I had purchased elsewhere!!! Great service!!!

We brought our wedding ring into Matthew James on Wednesday to fix the setting and it was done in one day!! They did an amazing job! It’s looks better than brand new. They were extremely courteous as they helped me determine if my pieces were worth repairing or trading in. Their inventory was current and stylish ( not tired and boring). I just purchased a beautiful, 14 karat, solid gold, 4MM Figaro chain. I got a great deal. But the best part was the excellent customer service rendered by Josh. They also had very fair prices on quality jewelry. I bought a diamond gold necklace for my nieces communion and it was absolutely beautiful, classy and very unique. I have always used this jewelry store because the original owners were amazing and when we first met when they first opened up, we quickly became good friends. When he passed recently I was scared to find a new jeweler because it’s hard to find a good jewelry store that is as trustworthy and not willing take advantage of you or switch your stone to a fake/cheaper stone than the original owners of Matthew James. I happened to stop in the new store and when I met the new owner I was instantly very impressed and happy. I was also happy to hear that the original jeweler who worked with the original owners still works there. This is definitely the only jeweler you should use if you live anywhere nearby. Not only will you get jewelry of better quality and prices than that of commercial jewelry stores like Kay or Zara, etc. (which I would NOT EVER RECOMMEND because it’s truly like throwing your money away), but you will find the most important quality you need to have in a jewelry store, honesty. They will take care of you and treat you the way you should be and I am VERY happy to have a personal jeweler again that gives me the same quality as the original. Very clean, shiny, inviting store with super friendly and helpful staff. Their Mascot/Guard dog is very nice and friendly as long as you are cool, but if you are there to do something bad, you will leave without an arm or a leg. Went to get a battery changed on my watch and they took care of it right away and made sure I was satisfied before I left. I would definitely go back for my jewelry needs.

Brought a chain in to get one of the broken links fixed and chain cleaned as well, they were fast and efficient with the process. Then when I requested some information about some of the jewelry in the shop because I was interested in upgrading my jewelry they were very polite and did a great job with the communication with the different pieces I was interested in. Great people and felt very welcomed and comfortable shopping there, definitely will return because of the customer service.

UPDATE: August 16, 2021I recently brought in a few pieces of jewelry to get repaired which they did a great job on, as well as being done the very next day. So that was great. I also gave them my engagement to replace a small diamond that was missing. The work was done the next morning, very reasonably priced and the ring looked brand new, which is exactly what Josh said it would be. That ring was brought into the store about 2 years ago when I wanted to replace the center stone with a larger one that I had purchased. Jack originally told me that he may not be able to do what I needed which was to change the whole prong setting in the center to accommodate the new larger stone. He then came up with an idea and the ring was done in a minimal amount of time and I was extremely pleased. It looks amazing!!! I get so many compliments on my ring it makes me very happy that I made the decision to go to Matthew James Jewelers. Also the prices on the jewelry that they sell are quite reasonable and they have beautiful inventory. Believe me if you go to them for your jewelry needs, you will not be disappointed. I will always use them as my jeweler.Always bring my jewels into them for repair, great experience every time. My engagement ring is from there: its beautiful, amazing quality diamonds and one of a kind. Staff are always so helpful and never pushy. Love this store!!

I stumbled upon this Jewelry Store by accident. I brought in my wedding band that had been lost for almost a year. The ring appeared as though it had been buried or submerged. I walked in requesting only a cleaning and it was suggested that get my ring treated to look like new. Low and behold when I retrieved my ring the following day it was looking brand new. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I truly enjoyed my experience at this establishment and I anticipate I’ll be doing additional business here soon.
