Sale prices were good but soda pop prices way more than I am used to paying.

I love to shop here. Theyre always friendly and shelves are always full. They have a good deli and have awesome meat sales. Im glad we have one in Van Wert so I dont have to go to Delphos anymore. And did I mention the delicious homemade cookies? The frosted sugar cookies are my favorite! Nice little home town store! 😊

Ordered 2 sheet cakes to celebrate a 95th birthday and 2 wedding anniversaries at church. We were very pleased and received several compliments on how beautiful the cakes looked. Great cakes!

Chief supermarket is a great place to pick up those couple of things you need to finish dinner or for a snack. I use the word supermarket in quotes because you will not find a large variety of particular items, such as cookies. They had oreo varieties and keebler together then two feet later Archway then about four feet after that Chips Ahoy. In between there were products that did not relate. In closing shop here for convenience not for price nor variety.

Good variety of products and produce, yet quite expensive compared to other groceries in the area. Staff has also been quite rude to me on a few occasions when I have asked for help finding something that I couldnt find. Eye roll, shoulder shrugs. Havent been back since.

Prices are higher than any other grocery in town. Some good deals if you bundle coupons with their specials.

Went in this morning to no one at registers. Then a voice says be right five minutes later here she comes. Checks me out then only bags half my purchases. I thought what a start to my day. I dont understand people sometimes.

Drove into town 10 miles for ground beef on sale for 1.99 pound on sale. 2 package limit. 8 AM to 8 PM. It was 6 pm. No ground beef at sale price. Regular price. No one available in meat department to provide beef at sale price.

Shop frequently.. bakery was extremely helpful in preparing a meat and fruit tray ordered spare of the moment for me so I could take them to a family of a friend who passed away. I appreciated it immensely.

Theres a good variety of groceries that some of the other grocery stores in town do not have, however the regular prices are a little high. I always watch for their sales and their local coupon inserts --- you cam get some really good deals that way!

Some employees are still not fully wearing their masks, mostly the young kids. They should be fired. Other than that, store is clean and disinfectant is available to spray carts

The store is nice and clean, but the prices are a little on the high side. They do have good deal, but you have shop during those times other wise you could be spending a lot of money in one place for grocery.

Havent shopped there but a couple times but they have good sales and if you use them products then thats the store to go to. They are the only store that I know of that has buy 2 get 3 free.

Always good produce and excellent meat dept. The deli is really nice with quite a variety of dishes. The only drawback is that some items are rather expensive compared to neighboring stores.

Cheifs was an absolute disappointment bar none. Coming from outside of town I had hoped for some courtesy and options and I was let down to say the least. The store was dirty the selections were almost nonexistent and the staff were indifferent so not a real shopping pleasure. I would never shop there again should I be in town again. In order to post a review on had to give stars butso they get one actually would have not given them any but I was asked for a review.

I thought they would have everything I needed opposed to savealot. No. Out of one thing, didnt carry another, check out line a mile long and the old school mouse trap on the floor baited with peanut butter was the last straw!!

Stopped at the Chiefs in town tonight for some lunch meat and salad fixings. While checking out I realized I had forgotten the scallions. I muttered oh shoot under my breath just as the manager was walking by. He stopped, turned, and asked me what I had forgotten. When I told him what it was, he told me he would get them. Now that, ladies and gentlemen, is a good manager!!
