Our first visit today was great! I found a beautiful Danish Modern teakwood side table in very good condition. Also picked up a huge tub to paint and repurpose as an planter in our garden and a vintage desk organizer. Everything we bought was an excellent price. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We love the mission of Habitat and really appreciate the recycling aspect of the whole operation.Good to know:Plenty of easy parkingWell organized sections for all of the different items availableβdonβt skip the garden section outside!Cards accepted
This was a wonderful experience, the staff was very friendly. It was nice finding what I needed and knowing I was giving back at the same time was even better. The store was well organized and priced very reasonably. They have a easy loading area for loading larger items. Here are just some of my wonderful finds there.
Had alot of stuff there reasonable priced things, clean n they dont that cash .
Lots of great stuff, terrific prices and helpful staff!
Very jelpful and nice people lots of things to buy
Have been vaccinated for several months now. Was told I had to mask up. Wont be back--place is full of garbage anyway.
Husband was turned away with a donation of a bookcase. Crabby volunteer argued with him that it wasnβt wood, and when he proved it was, said that it was too big. Goodwill happily took it, but I always want to donate to habitat first. Now I wonβt ever be able to convince him to take anything there again.
Love love love this place!! The prices are reasonable and the people who work there are absolutely amazing!!
Big NO CASH sign posted at the register. Terrible policy to have at a thrift store.
Very cludder and messy. Most things were over priced close to new prices.I prefer the Restore in Gresham.
So many cool things to look upon.. and even better deals to save cash in ypur pocket..staff is awesome!!
What happened to this wonderful place? When we bought in 2016 we used to go here for everything! My husbands family was a habitat for humanity recipient and we think itβs a wonderful idea. Lately.... ugh. The βstaffβ( not volunteers) are so grumpy. If you call you get an annoyed βhello?β I had to check my phone to verify I was calling a business. Thereβs never anything there anymore to buy. We tried donating a 3 year old working stainless steel fridge and the old lady curmudgeon said no. The other guy helping her was taking a light fixture from us when she barked at him that she wasnβt going to take anything from us. Not sure why. But I do understand now why we donβt have any luck finding good stuff anymore. Donβt care about them not taking it, I can sell it and make money. But wish they werenβt so darn angry
You never know what too expect when entering this store, they always have something new and it very easy to leave with more then you came looking for...prices are usually pretty decent...customer service is usually kind and friendly...although there is 1 or 2 ladys that work there that are usually pretty grumpy.....steer clear
Has political sign up right at the entrance. Go back to selling used cabinets, your opinion is not important to your customers and your political message is offensive.
Donations are by drive up. Very efficient..
Great place to find material for your projects around the house.
Im disappointed prices for things that people are throwing away or dont want to throw away have gone up to retail price. Their tile which is on the floor isnt inspected very often. I had the unfortunate experience of picking some up that had dog urine on it, At least I hope it was. I told one of the associates and she ignored what I said until I was persistent then said she would clean it up and saw the dog just recently. I asked if she had any wipes as I had some on my hand that was ignored until I asked again she said there was plenty of hand sanitizer around the store. I still give them a 3 * because I dont want to let one experience ruin all the others theyre pretty good usually at least theyre not being political as blatantly as they were when I last visited.
I love this place! I can always find gardening items like tools, pots, concrete blocks and odd things that I never thought of until I seen. Im sure you know how that goes LOL They have a lot of furniture nowadays which is in great condition and cheap. Its worth going in to just check it out. The money goes to an awesome cause and all the staff is Super Nice!!!
Good place to give to as their resale items go for a very good cause.
Well organised, clean and friendly staff.
Very poor goods and horrible customer service. The cashier was wearing a politically charged necklace and treated me and my wife very rudely, ignoring us and checking out other customers before us. Will definitely be going to goodwill or a local antique shop next time. Donβt waste your time at this dump
Stocked very well, a lot of good stuff and good helpLl
Helpful gentleman took time to individually help me with window.screen love the prices ad they have so much stuff BUT ThEY DONT take CASH
Full of good stuff.
The lady at the door was super friendly and nice. The employees were helpful with my questions. Great service here with nice people.
As a volunteer its like browsing and helping people at the same timeI found some cool mugs here and some other fancy glassware definitely worth a look
Found the perfect tile for the whole new bathroom & shower
Disappointing. Not the quality of goods that I have seen in the past.
There are some amazing things here!
There are lots of selections I need with reasonable prices.
Darrelene was a wonderful help and all around great person kind and thoughtful and connected with my son even took the time to tell him happy early birthday
Came by this morning to see if they wanted anything from my friends trailer load of house moving stuff. (Couches, yard stuff, lots of metal, etc.) I was 30 min early before opening which I guess now is at 10am. I proceeded to wait and while doing so watched two workers throw hundreds if not thousands of resale stuff in the garbage. Anyone out there is better off taking there stuff to any other charity place. This establishment has become very picky. For a company trying to make money to do good works I feel throwing $500+ snowboards, shelf racks in good working order, oil heaters, $300 rafts with oars etc... away is counter productive. I will not be back to donate here unless it is something any other organization will not take...I see that habitat responded and I just want to say that your response has nothing to do with my original review. You totally missed the point! This stuff was not at the store for too long and not in the free pile area. This just arrived, still in boxes and was at the donation door at the back east side of the building. It had just been dropped off and your worker told me it was just junk to you guys.
Love this place. Great dir everything from tools to furniture.
As always and especially now they need any help you can offer
Great selection, unbeatable prices, and helping a good cause. Its so much more then a home improvement store. Youll always find something you didnt know you needed.Oh and they have a giant Free pile out front. You never know when youll need a random drawer or pallets...Happy Digging
You never know what you will find. Great place.
It is a good place for people who work for construction.
Great deals
Consistently a bad experience with these people. Bought something, went pick up.. was sold to someone out from under me... They tell u to pay to ensure your purchase and pick up. But dont mention how long they hold it for.. customer service seems to be lacking as well as weird hours on random days.. tried calling them all week to schedule a different pick up. No answer.. 6 days in a row! 6 months ago bought a couch here filled with the urine and masked with febreeze. Major waste of two trips.. so over the deals wont shop here again.
Hot or miss. Ive scored some great finds here so I always stop in when Im in the area. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Parking is plentiful (prob because this used to be a car dealership). There doesnt seem to be much turnover in the furniture department, but theres lots of tile and good doors.
Good finds for cheap prices
Way more construction stuff than I thought Id see
Easy to find, quick drop off, all folks friendly
Unapologetically would not take my cash I had items I really needed had only cash too bad thought it was a passing fad went back to the store a couple weeks later got talked to like a dog by someone because I didnt have my mask on I dont think its a fluke I wont be there back there again
I agree The ResaleStore in Vancouver Wa is very picky they only want new stuff in the box. They should be disassociated with Habitat for Humanity because the are giving it a bad name.
Found what we were looking for and the people there were very nice.
Picked up a nice washer and dryer set!
Love this place. Anytime I need something for around the house whether its a tool, light switch, gloves, paint etc. I always come here first. Its reuse and way cheaper than anywhere else. They have appliances, furniture, electrical (including lighting), flooring, bathroom, windows and doors, hardware and so on. If you havent been here you should go atleast once. Plus it supports a good cause.
Great place. Affordable prices.
This place has some things that people might be looking for. Just make sure you really look at what you want to buy first because some things are just garbage. But if you find what you need here its definitely a great price! I love how they connect with Evergreen school district and allow students to come in and get on-the-job training.
The positive is that its a very worthy cause that they support. The moderately negative is that their prices have gone up steeply in the last 3 years. Also when they picked up at home they hardly acquire anything and leave much of value because they say they have too many contributions already. I would not recommend her home pickup service anymore.
Good place to shop for primarily used building supplies and some household and yard items. Money goes to a good cause. Its mostly volunteer workers, Including people with disabilities. Wonderful!
Love what they do. Wish more people would donate. Great staff. I always go here first for building projects but since many people dont know, or think of this great place with regards to donating, the inventory can be very low. Hopefully that will change with the word being spread!
I love this place.Lots and lots of good stuff. Always find some hidden gems here. Wide variety of household items. Furniture to flooring. Tools to light fixtures.
You can donate home and construction related materials here that are still usable they will accept them for free. This is a great store they provide a great service they also sell all these construction items at very reasonable prices .They help keep usable items out of land fills, also its a great place for projects and DIY home repair supplies... merchandise changes daily. Always a good time coming here. Highly recommended!! Dont forget if you want to work here you can donate your time as well.
Over the last couple of years, Ive picked up 4 lamps (all work perfectly), a set of bar stools (near perfect condition) and tons of misc odds & ends ie.: vases, tools, coasters, work shoes etc...Recently I picked up bamboo flooring (4 matching unopened boxes of high quality) plus a sink, cabinet and mirror for a bathroom remodel.Im still under $500They also have a rewards program - very cool π
Well organized and clean, but Ive noticed as the store has become more popular the prices have begun to rise quite a bit. The key to shopping this store is know what you want and the price new before you go; quite a bit of the inventory can be bought new for a bit more. Yes, you are helping a worthwhile cause when you shop here, but it seems that Habitat along with certain other non profit stores have become a bit greedy when it comes to pricing donated goods.
Great place to hunt for bargains at great price. Each purchase helps Habitat for Humanity provide homes for needy families. So much of the merchandise would be discarded, instead it is made available at GREATLY reduced prices, avoiding unnecessary filling of our landfills. Fun just to visit regularly to see what you might need.
I love shopping here. Great place to get furniture and paint. Prices are really low and staff is always friendly. Also a great place to donate.
Far an away, I appreciate what H4H does, however, with recent trips to make donations they have refused to take many good quality, nice items. Iβve donated my time with building and Iβve donated materials multiple times during our home remodel. To be turned away from donating because βIt could get roughed up sitting on our selves, then weβd have to put it out for freeβ is disheartening.
If you dont mind digging for a good deal this is a great place to do some bargain hunting. No clothes are sold here. Just things to furnish a house... and build one. Materials like tile and paint, at prices you wont find any where else. Makes my heart happy to find stores like this.
I try and stop in at least 1-2x a month today I found 2 mable med size lamps really rich looking ! Made very well and level !! Very impressed they were $19.00 each with the shades !! You wouldnt be able to find 1 lamp at that price in that shape and material in that stone !! They have great prices and all different kinds of furniture. Great things !! When you go in to look make sure you give some extra money to help the less fortunate that at so lucky !! Bless the people that were able to open this store for people that cant afford to pay for brand new furniture !! It takes a hole lot of good people to make a great neighborhood !!!!
Got enough tile for my bath floor and shower walls for $52 dollars. Amazing prices and great service. The guy I usually see at the counter is Ilmari and hes always a pleasure to deal with.
I dropped off some fence boards.
My husband and I frequent Habitat on average 2- 3 times a month. It is the first place we look when doing home repairs or improvements. They are a resale store for anything to do with the home. Weve bought cabinets for our kitchen, a refrigerator and stove, paint, desk, and even a patio table and chairs. The staff here, many who are volunteers, are always very friendly and helpful.
This store is great for a lot of home improvement projects around the house, weβve purchased two fridges here from their program that sells brand new appliances that have a scratch but otherwise nothing wrong with them and weβve been nothing but pleased, I highly recommend you check this place out first for items you might find for much cheaper then new.
Great atmosphere and prices. I stop by all the time just to see what cool items I can find. One mans junk is my treasure!
This is my favorite place to shop for home improvement/remodel items. Recently bought 3 full cans of quality paint for $10. I was also able to purchase tile and a new vanity for my bathroom for under $50. Plus they have a rewards program now so you can save even more money!
If you need home improvements like paint, tile, cabinets, doors, windows, etc very cheap....go there! You wont be disappointed. I just bought cabinets for my garage for $4 each! Its a great place!
Somehow I find myself shopping at this store even twice a week. I always find something irresistible to buy. This particular store is very well organized and clean.
A gold mine for do-it-yourselfers! Super low prices and additional discounts for items based on the sticker color. We did a complete bathroom remodel for under $50. Ive replaced all but 1 window in my house from Restore and spent $25 on average for each one. This place goes through inventory really quick so we go every few days stocking up for our next projects.
Great staff. Way too much worked over junk. Stop over pricing your good stuff...it was all donated.
Lots of spare building materials here. Just like any second hand store, you probably wont find exactly what you are looking for on the first try. The discounts are impressive, especially on appliances.
This is the best place for home improvement on a budget. I find myself buying pieces for art projects also. They have very inexpensive furniture there too. All this and yoy help people by shopping there.
You have to search a little harder in this store because it is not as organized like The Goodwill or Salvation Army but there are treasures and gems to be found. It is also a great place to get discounted or donated treasures, odds and ends and even new items.
You can find some great deals here, but many items are seriously overpriced. I love what Habitat does for people, and thats reason enough to shop here. Its always fun searching for those hidden gems, and the people that work there are always helpful and friendly.
They have all kinds of stuff...if youre changing anything in your house, stop by here first. All kinds of tools and building supplies, windows, doors, paint, wood...everything INCLUDING the kitchen sink! Also usually a good selection of furniture reasonably priced.
This place is awesome. There are so many great deals on furniture and building materials!! I would suggest to check here before buying from home depot . different stuff everyday.
I enjoy shopping here for little odds and ends I need around the house. 4 stars because I bought a stand up freezer that didnt work. They have a guarantee but beings its donations someone was dishonest and that sucks :-(
They were kind, helpful and kept everything moving smoothly⦠Right until closing time⦠They were a great bunch of people and it was fine to pick through this and that to get what I needed.
Big place with everything organized nicely. Fair prices. I subscribed to their Facebook page so I see when they get new stuff in.
If youve never been to a restore, then you were probably like I was. I had no idea what to expect inside and I was pleasantly surprised when I did. Lots of various bldg materials, and used home furnishings. Ive definitely made trips back since and will continue to do so.
Its a great idea, Ive got some really good remodel products there, but sometimes the pricing changes with the management
You never know.... check here before going to a big box store
Love this place! Clean, quiet, big, and filled with quality, gently used building supplies. Oh, and it makes me feel good to support a really good and helpful organization.
These guys have lots of deals on nice stuff.. Hard to find lighting fictures are everywhere inside. Great people with honest answers on the products they sell
This is my first go to place when I need something for my home, I love the employees its always exciting to find a treasures, building supplies staff is great
Interesting items in this store to help with upkeep work on your home. Reasonable prices!
The employees leave a bit to be desired. Ive visited on many occasions. more times than not, Ive been over- charged... Abeit.. things are a bargin... But if the signs say its .25cents it should be .25cents. Other issues pertain to customer service, some employees could be friendlier or at least professional. Great idea for a store. Tons of left over construction and home improvement stuff! Check it out!
Great place just know your prices being it is volunteer-based and they do pricing I have re modeled most of my house with shopping there
Very kind and Friendly staff!! Most amazing prizes on everything!! They do not sell junk- theyve items that are in very good to excellent condition!! My family and I love this place!!
Lots of stuff here. Dought almost brand new large windows for just $30 best price for stuff like that. Definitely will come back again. Thanks a lot.
A special place to find new and used building materials and furnishings at deep discount prices. Plus the money goes toward building low cost housing.
Great place to shop for cheap cheap cheap fixer upper products. If your looking for a super affordable way to do some home recon this is the place for you.
This store has great finds!! A awesome place to volunteer as well and learn hands on skills
I have purchased items on several occasions. Most recently obtained about 150 of misc molding and saved easily over $100.00 by doing so. It is always a hit and miss proposition but if they have it and it works for you, you not only save money but also help out a good cause.
Lots of cool stuff for diy, and used furniture. Occasionally hosts Repair Cafe: free small repairs. I think you can dispose of old paint.
