This shop made me very happy! They fixed my favorite leather purse! It was in need of repair in so many different places— it now feels sturdy and looks brand new again—and all for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend!

Great customer service and highly recommend!!! I had ordered a pair of sandals online and when I received them one of the buckles was defective, so I was not able to even wear one of the shoes. My only option was to return them (without exchanging because they were the last pair in that size) or to get them repaired if I wanted to keep them. I Googled shoe repair shops near me and Orchards Shoe Repair came up as the closest to me. I hopped in my my car and headed over to their location and was met by a really pleasant guy. He looked at my shoe, had me wait a moment while he took it in the back of his shop to check on something, and when he came back had already had it fixed. It was all done in less than five minutes.Yay!!! To boot I had even forgot my purse, because I was on a one track mind to see if I could get the buckle repaired, so I didnt even have money to pay him. He said it was only going to be $5, but since I didnt have the money with me, I told him I would have to go home and get my purse and come back to pay him, since I had forgotten it. He said not to worry and let me leave with my sandals in hand. I am so happy with my entire experience with this business, so I wanted to give them a shout out on Google. Next time Im in the area I plan to pay them the $5 and am definitely going back if I have any further shoe repair needs.

I wear my heels constantly for work, dates, and church. I break down the heels very quickly and generally go through a pair every six months. After realizing my latest Italian leather heels were destroyed, I brought them into this cobbler. He took in three pairs and had them ready in two days. He took them from broken-down heel nails to restored heel caps, and made the deteriorated fabric/leather around them smooth by gluing it down. They look like new. Thank you so much! 10/10 A+! We will be back! Prices were fair and made sense compared to replacing the cost of the shoes.

Wow! I was incredibly surprised and blown away by the work they did for me! The work is superb quality! I can see they stand behind their work and do their absolute best. They payed attention to exactly what I wanted. They professionally explained everything in such good detail. Im not going anywhere else from now on for my shoe repair or leather work. I absolutely love this place and owner. Im thankful Its not too far from my house. Ive I brought a handful of my familys boots and shoes for him over the years to resole or stretch out or readjust or restitch. Hes very knowledgeable very patient and the quality of his work shows on each and every pair of boots and shoes even a pair of slippers that Ive dropped off to him. Not only is his workmanship excellent the reasonable pricing charges is affordable even for me. Especially considering how expensive mens work boots are its way cheaper to take them in to him to repair v.s. buying a new pair for sure no question.

I came in to get a repair on some of my dress shoes, and I quite honestly thought that it would take a few days to complete, but after coming into Orchards Shoe Repair, they did the repair right in front of my very eyes to my complete satisfaction. They were extremely kind and attentive to my description of the problem and did a wonderful job with the repair, for a VERY affordable cost. Would recommend anyone in the Portland/Vancouver area to come and get their work done here, it’s very much worth it! :)

My puppy chewed a strap to my husbands ski boots. He was leaving for a ski trip in a few days. I went in and explained my situation and the urgency. I was told it would be done in a few days in time for the trip. To my surprise the owner fast tracked my repair. I received a call a couple hours later. The ski boot strap was repaired just as it was explained. Fantastic job!! I will be back for sure!

The service is always prompt, friendly, and extremely ethical. There have been times where he could’ve provided a service but it would not have been terribly helpful for me in the long run, so he told me that and saved me money. Again, the quality of service is always excellent and prompt as well as very reasonably priced. I highly recommend this shop to anyone!

This shoe repair place has to be the biggest bargain in Clark County. They do excellent work at a small price. They have saved me hundreds of dollars in shoes. I buy good shoes and once I have them all comfy, they eventually wear out. I dont like tossing them and starting over with different new shoes. Every time I have brought in a pair, they have fixed them good as new.My husband just brought in his fancy dress shoes that never had fit right. What would cost more -- giving an uncomfortable pair away? Or spending a few dollars to have them fit just right? We had a great experience at Orchards Shoe Repair. My daughter had some horse riding boots that were too tall. They cut them down and finished them so well you wouldn’t ever know they were altered. They even moved the inside tab down instead of removing it to make it easier to pull on.

Alexy is the master of repairs for shoes! He is such a friendly guy and his work is fast and excellent! I went to three places ... highest quote to fix the zipper on my ONE boot was $48. He took one look and said “Ah! I see it’s just below. Let me fix it quickly.” I walked out paying $5 but. Bought more stuff like super long laces I couldn’t get online or in store ... and de-salter for shoes.

Customer service here is phenomenal! Ive had 2 pairs of shoes stretched (wide width and high instep) which I wouldnt have otherwise been able to wear. Alexeys prices are very reasonable too. This last pair of faux leather Booties are now fitting beautifully, and he even gave them a coat of fresh color since the stretching solution caused a little discoloration. More people should know this place exists.

Alexey’s is a true, old-school cobbler (shoe repair) shop, where you can find a full selection of shoe products like laces and polish, and other things you will NEVER find at a box store, or would have to hunt for at multiple department stores if you could even find them.He is courteous, professional, and quite handy at leather work and shoe repair of all kinds. It’s pretty tough to find a great little shop like this, and the Portland/Vancouver area is lucky to have Alexey’s shop and his great services.

Good quality repair

I brought black boots with a broken zipper one afternoon. I was greeted kindly by Alexey and he was very quick in letting me know how to resolve the broken zipper. The zipper was in the form of medal. But Alexey recommended to switch the medal zipper to a plastic because they tend to be more durable and the teeth are less likely to break off. He did a wonderful job replacing the zippers completely from a silver metal base to a black plastic. And believe it or not, the black boots look better than they did with the silver metal. Thank you so much to Aleksey!!! I’m happy with the new and improved look and I highly suggest Orchards Show Repair for any shoe repair requests.

I brought in two pairs of Cole Haan’s - boots and loafers. The sole of my boots were starting to separate, and expecting a quote for new ones, the owner stated he could glue them back. Very honest and both pairs came back just like new. This is the second time soliciting their business and they do not disappoint!

Many said they could not do it. I brought it in to AA orchards shoe repair and he took care of it for very little money and so quickly I was astonished! I brought it in Friday morning and he called me in less than 1 hour to tell me it was done!Great job ! Great service!

Super disappointed. I saw great reviews, but the results were not good. I went in to have the bottom of my boots glued back together. They were old and falling apart, but I loved them. A week later I got the boots back, and the same day it started to rip again, and in the same place they had just repaired. Asked for new laces to be put on, and they didnt even do that. They just threw them in the boots. I literally could have done all this myself. Wont be going back!

Turns out the gentleman I dropped my shoes off/interacted with was not the owner, but someone watching the store while they owner and his wife were in Mexico celebrating their anniversary. (Also, congrats on that)About a week had passed since I dropped my shoes off and I got a message (from the owner) saying my shoes were ready and he was sorry it would take so long. When I went to pick up my shoes the next evening I chatted with the owner and he is the nicest man ever and super knowledgeable about what he does.Let me tell you, my mouth dropped when I saw how good these shoes looked. Not only did he replace the sole, and heal but holy S**t he took the time to get the scratches out and polished. They look brand new.This place is AMAZING!!! I have been searching for a good shoe repair shop that wasn’t crazy expensive, where I could start taking my shoes but so far orchard has been a disappointment. I dropped off a pair of double buckle monks that I love because I wore out the soles...I walk in, say hello and the gentlemen behind the counter said hello back. I sh owed him the wear on the bottom of the shoes and he told me“so you want a rubble half some” to which I replied “I would actually like a leather one since that is what is original to the shoe also I think the heels are worn and can you clean them up?”“Ok, half leather sole, that will be 95.00. Oh, you don’t need them done quickly do you.?”Umm that would be a preference, ok so the 25th is fine? No! Anyway we went back and forth and he said the 22nd after I pointed out that the 25th was almost three weeks. I didn’t want to argue.I guess I’ll see how they turn out and if they are I will update the review but at this point I can’t imagine bringing anymore business their way. 😔

Dropped my Danner Boots off because I had walked the rubber off the bottom of the boots. They took a few days to replace them, buffed up the leather to a nice shine and they look brand new. My first time coming here, and Ill definitely refer others to come here because Ill be back.

I took my wifes boots in to have the zippers replaced and was disappointed when the zipper pull on one of them broke. I originally posted a bad review because of this, but the owner contacted me and asked me to bring the boots back in and he would make things right himself. The customer service is well worth the time. All the stitching and craftsmanship was excellent. Assuming it was just a defective zipper.

Orchards Shoe Repair is the greatest! My Doc Martens were falling apart but Orchards Shoe Repair restitched them for me and even dyed the thread yellow so that it would look like Doc Martens original stitching, (and I hadnt even asked for that, but he took the initiative which made me super appreciative) I was blown away by the superb customer service and unbelievable affordable prices. I will be a lifelong customer!
