OUR NEW FAV!The back patio is a huge, open area with lovely seating for an airy, safe summer hangout! The food is delicious and the drinks are lovingly crafted for an addictive experience (I dont like them too sweet, and they make it just right) We all had to get their iced Oatmeal Cookie Latte after trying it, and well probably be back every week for this one. We love Latte Da!
Not bad! Prices are alright I guess. Could definitely use more Vegan options than just toast with avocado on it, if thats what I wanted to spend money on I would just buy a loaf of bread and crush an avocado -_-On the flip side the staff were very friendly! I dont believe there is dine in but the patio was very beautiful and lowkey. I would probably go again just for drinks
I found my new favorite spot! The food, coffee, and customer service were all superb. And the patio is so cute! Very cozy. Its a perfect place to have brunch. Literally my only complaint is that they dont have oat milk, but the rest of the experience makes up for that. Im very pleased.
Excellent coffee and food. And a very delightful layout. Sweet patio.
Great service, lovely setting, and their dirty chai is delicious
Excellent little coffee shop! Quaint, good java. Really nice outdoor set up.
Nummy coffee and there are breakfast options! Great atmosphere with an excellent outdoor patio.
Great latte and my husbands chocolate muffin was delish. Very nice outdoors and indoors. Menu reasonably priced with nice selection
Chill coffee spot, mostly older folks and people working quietly on computers or reading. Lots of outdoor space (including a covered area, and a “front yard” patio style area.) It’s in a repurposed house, quaint and the main dining area is open - concept with two main rooms and the coffee bar off to the side. Variety of seating - bar height tables and chairs, regular tables and chairs, armchairs, and patio seating outside. Love walking to this place from my house and cooling down outside, then heading inside!Drinks are awesome and menu is extensive. One note - chai lattes are almost always quite spicy in my experience, so if you’re looking for a sweeter chai, maybe ask for light chai!
This is normally my favorite coffee place. But every time I come here and the lady that makes my drinks ( has hand tattoos) isnt there, my coffee taste terrible. I order a Celtic knock and it never taste the same. This coffee is expensive and it is very disappointing when it does not taste good.
I heard great things about this coffee shop. We came from Seattle only to be disappointed with the customer service and not getting what you ordered. I ordered a breakfast bowl and it clearly had potatoes/hash listed as an ingredient. The person taking the order didnt inform me that they didnt have potatoes. When my order was ready and I asked about the missing potatoes she responded saying, Yea, we dont have any potatoes today. And looked at me like I was supposed to know. Didnt offer any substitution and it was like me and my party were an inconvenience for her to serve. Make sure yall ask if they got all the ingredients on hand before you order!
Great coffee and amazing breakfast sandwiches. Super cute place to eat and I cant wait to explore more of their menu!
My cousin heard great things about this place so we came to try it out. The atmosphere was unwelcoming and we were met with attitude. The customer service is lacking. As a customer, I should be able to go and ask questions without feeling like I’m inconveniencing the staff. When I did ask my questions I was met with short, curt answers. I would advise to think twice when ordering, if you are met with the same attitude and rudeness. Food isn’t that good to accept unwelcoming behavior.
For anyone traveling through or staying in Vancouver this cozy coffeehouse with a sprawling patio is a must! The staff is welcoming and great at recommending sites to visit for road trips north. The food tastes like it’s straight from grandma’s kitchen. I had to come back a second morning on our trip just to enjoy a second baked oatmeal with a side of bacon and Cafe Au Late!Gluten and dairy are easily avoided with readily available alternatives at this lovely neighborhood shop! The local artist displays and cheerful community surrounding this space have made a return to Vancouver at the top of my wonderlust wishlist!-The Traveling Minnesotan
Wait staff were very nice but it took forever to get my coffee.
Excellent! Customer service is excellent and food is delicious. Relaxing atmosphere.
Just stopped there this morning. Starving and pregnant. I asked for the sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich and man did they bless me with extra cheese! Best breakfast ever! Thank you so much!
We moved to the neighborhood last year and after investigating ALL of the best coffee shops in Vancouver, Latte Da is not only my favorite but possibly my favorite of all time. Killer espresso, great bites, and the staff is amazing! Alex, Brian, and everyone. They’ve helped make this pandemic year bearable. Thanks, guys!!! Xo
Quaint place with great outdoor seating
The place feels very run down. The sharpie markings on the menu were smudged, the chalk on the board was smudged, no one was there to greet us when we walked in, and our drink options felt limited and were served lukewarm. Yet the prices were comparable to Starbucks. We ended up wishing wed gone there but the reviews here sounded great so we wanted to try it. We could tell its probably a neighborhood favorite by the people sitting outside, and maybe it was a good stop pre-covid. Well wait a while before we try it again.
I’ve been to this coffee shop a handful of times. The last two times I’ve been to this shop within a month of each other, I was met with attitude and rudeness. As if I was inconveniencing them. They were not engaging, didn’t respond to me when I said thank you and rolled their eyes at me when I wanted to add another drink at the last minute, not even yet completed with the transaction. Had my friends not ordered before me I would have left due to the disrespectful attitudes. I usually don’t write reviews, but since this was the SECOND time I felt not welcomed. After I told my brother how rude they were he also said he’s been to this place several times and was met with dismissive attitudes and rudeness. I love supporting local businesses but I will NOT be returning here. Customer Service is everything and after reading the other reviews of the rudeness I can see this is consistent.
I enjoyed this place very good atmosphere however the coffee was a little to sweet for me and the breakfast sandwich was overdone.
Delightful little shop with delicious coffee and very yummy sandwiches. Totally recommend
Great service, delicious coffee.
1st time going there i thought it was great
Food is bomb but very low on staff. Only two people working and huge lines everyone waiting for their orders. Took 40mins to get our order. Please staff this place.
Latte Da has become our favorite secret way to finish date night before I head home in the morning and Ive always felt they cared about us. It was our one frustration that they were closed on Mondays. Well they must have heard us talking because this morning I noticed they are now open on Monday. But if they really cared, they would have called to tell us.
The coffee is good and theyve got great place to sit which is a godsend in this nightmare were currently living through.
Nice home-y place with good food
My experience at latte da both times Ive been there have been poor at best. The mocha I had tasted like warm milk with drip coffee mixed in. I spent 40 dollars on breakfast and was served biscuits and gravy it of a can? Asked if was homeade and the cook lady laughed and said it was canned gravy.
Waffles and coffee were great!
Nice place. Easy going.
This is a very cute and cozy coffee shop. You can sit in many of the small rooms inside, on the porch outside, or under the tent outside. Some days, they have a fire going inside or out.Latte Da hosts many events. Ive personally attended a concert there. The food and drinks are good and the prices are on par with other local coffee shops. My personal favorites are the steamers and the southwest breakfast sandwich.
I drove across town to try it and I didn’t even order coffee because they had a terrible attitude towards me and my family so I left. They have no respect.
A delightful cafe to have a lemon bar and coffee, or wine. Great for a light lunch or dinner, sandwiches, soups and salad. Several seating options, dog friendly. Rotating tap. An uptown favorite of mine.
This is the best locally owned coffee house in Vancouver. Remodeled house with lots of local flavor. Truly excellent coffee. I do business meetings here and all my clients love it. Service is always friendly at fast. This is one of those cant go wrong places.
Went here with a partner who was meeting someone to get an offer up item. Ended up ordering an Americano and sitting down for much longer than expected. Now I mean that in a good way as the energy of the place is positive with a bit of hushed ambiance. I look forward to visiting again, to the point where Ill go out of my way to visit. The staff is friendly and the menu options are worth exploring.
Such a cute little place. My new study spot for sure. Food was very good. I got a chicken avo. I loved that the chicken breast was cut in half as to sandwich the cheese in the breast. That and the avocado spread on both top and bottom made it perfectly balanced. Oh service was good was well, the person with the short pink hair was very kind.
This is one of my favorite places in all of Vancouver! I regularly meet clients here and absolutely enjoy the environment every time. Not to mention the coffee is great also! If you are looking for a local coffee shop with a warm & inviting atmosphere, look no further!
The owner of this coffee house has done a fabulous job of creating a great community coffee bar. I’ve never had the wine so I don’t know much about that, but the outdoor fire pit area is wonderful! The location is easy to reach from most of the close in downtown area. Parking is tight, but the coffee more than makes up for it! I have enjoyed trying all kinds of different coffee’s there, and found the quality to be really great. We have tried some of the food items, and I am thinking that I may stick with the sandwiches. The last time we were there I got a crustless quiche, but it was fairly bland, so I went searching for ketchup or salsa, to find only Tabasco, which I don’t like.Since I do not live near this location, I am only stopping in every couple of months. The owner seems to be depending more on his staff, and while they do well, he went the extra mile. I always look to see if he is there, as I know I’ll get outstanding service.I do recommend this coffee and wine bar, as it is quite comfortable to either bring your laptop or a friend and visit over coffee. The outdoor area is quite lovely and a great bonus for a nice summer evenings.
One of my favorite places
Live down the road and this place is convenient. But that’s where the good news stops. Lattes always have a burnt taste to them and so does the drip. Could be the grounds or could be the temperature at brew time. Either way, for a place called Latte Da, unacceptable. And for the prices, it must be better than acceptable. They raised prices a while back on an already overpriced menu so I stopped going but I went back today for the first time in a year. Convenience is not enough.Wraps are quality of a Starbucks chicken wrap (not good). Has so much potential but fails at execution and price. The staff are ALWAYS friendly but that is just part of the equation for a good establishment. And in my opinion, I will trade unfriendly service as long as the coffee/food are excellent.
Great coffee and excellent food options; a great selection of sandwich options, quiche, and sweet treats. Very relaxed atmosphere, with indoor and outdoor seating. Not huge and busy, but homey and calming.
The food, coffee, food and atmosphere is somewhat Portland but its very much without the pretentiousness of Portland. Its a sweet little place that we can luckily call our own. My husband and I had our wedding reception here & it was perfect! There is a huge patio with a firepit and coverings that protect you from the elements. The food is very, very good and you get a lot for the price. I cannot recommend this place enough!
They could use a real refresh to their menu and the care they put into their food. Its quite bland and without creative thought. Also, charging more for plant based milks is so outdated. Its 2021...dont charge more to those trying not to harm animals..
This is a nice old house converted to a coffee house. They have several drinking/eating areas. Wine and beer available and small plates. The outside patio is rustically delightful. Today they were hosting an art show with a percentage of the sales going to the library.
Rather expensive. Nice location. No free refills on coffee. Good bagels. The cashier can be very nice or not. Depending on the person. Do not like the registers that suggest tip amount. Especially counter service, where they call your name.
Such a quaint and cozy little space! Their chai tea is one of the best that Ive had, not to mention their pesto garden breakfast sandwich was delicious. Im definitely excited to come back here soon!
Love this locally owned coffee shop that also serves wine. Its a great spot to catch up with a friend or to just do work. The environment has a cozy home feel. They make a variety of sandwiches and offer local pastries you can enjoy with you drink. Service is friendly.
Great coffee, snacks and service
Quaint remodeled house with lots of charm. Excellent skinny latte. Had a late AM business meeting that went well and I think the atmosphere here helped. Staff are very courteous and owner is friendly.
Best lemon blueberry scone Ive ever had! Super friendly service and incredibly cozy place to snack!Edit: they have a new Baker, so the scone is gone. New scones are very dry, not worth it. Also got a latte (usually my favorite) but tasted like cold coffee water... Great ambiance but not returning for coffee, maybe wine.
Wonderful coffee house. Literally an older home that has been masterfully designed into a quaint little coffee house and wine tasting location. You can go to there website for upcoming events and wine tasting schedules. Also, when NW weather permits, a large semi covered outdoor seating area nestled under a massive beautiful tree with lots of seating with a cozy gas powered fire pit out from under the tree to provide a warm place to enjoy on our crisp autumn mornings to enjoy a delicious mug of espresso. A must go location!!
Fast friendly service in a welcoming comfortable environment. Great for 2 people in the upstairs area or groups of 6-10 in the downstairs room. A variety of food choices including gluten free options.
Best coffee house in the region.
We recently moved to the neighborhood by Latte Da and as a writer trying to finish her first novel, I of course checked this place out to get coffee and do some writing. I absolutely love it here! The americano is delicious, the atmosphere is cozy and chill, and they have a great menu! I havent checked out their wine or happy hour, but I plan to soon! They seem to really care about the community and have lots of fun events hosted here. Seems like a great neighborhood gathering spot, and I am so happy to be living right by it! Also, the young man who works afternoons during the week is extremely friendly and remembers me when I come in. Love this place!
What a lovely place to sit over a glass of wine with my sister!
Relaxing coffee cafe located in a renovated old house. Very friendly staff. Great coffee. The food is always good. The weekend-only biscuits & gravy - delicious. The Cajun spiced tater tots with green onion, bacon bits, and bleu cheese crumbled on top is a bizarre yet very tasty dish. There are artistic events throughout the month. The outdoor fire pit is a very nice place to warm up and chill out. Highly recommended.
What a gathering place for the community. I enjoy seeing groups getting together over great coffee and tea. It is also a place where one can unwind and enjoy the patio. Thanks for the moments to slow down.
It was okay... Took a bit longer than I liked but I guess the local gossip was more important than serving customers.
Unique coffee shops with a few places to chose where to sit. I love how you can cycle by and order from outside.
I absolutely love this place. Anytime I have work done on my car I walk over. Great people. Delicious coffee.
Me and my sister came here and bought a large coffee but the drink was ᵗⁱⁿʸ sure its all cute but the drinks are ridiculously over priced for the size of them
Top shelf
Wonderful outdoor covered and uncovered arrangement. Cozy very warm atmosphere inside. Feels homey. Tasty quality food
My favorite neighborhood coffee shop. Their staff is friendly and attentive. They know both myself and spouse by name. Ive heard them call other regulars by name and know their order. They are equally friendly with newcomers as well. The atmosphere is great for visiting, meetings, or working. They support local groups, organizations and are active in the local community. Cannot recommend them enough.
Good coffee and treats and nice people! We got there just before closing, which was a bummer, but the guy didnt hurry us and made some good coffee. I forget what I ate, but remember it stating good. I believe it was a lemon scone. The venue looks to have a good atmosphere and I look forward to going there in the future.
Nice coffee shop with good breakfast options on the weekend. I want to go back for a wine event when the time is right!
Ok space. Just ok coffee, there is much better in Vancouver now. Convenient
This place is unique in the fact that they have events happening all the time. It makes it feel very homey and welcoming. Nice staff too.Edit: A little over a month ago I ordered one latte and two breakfast sandwiches. I dont mind waiting but at some point I had to remind the unfriendly staff to make my breakfast sandwiches and ended up waiting over 45 minutes for my food. I understand being busy but nothing about my to-go order signified I was planning to wait around for almost an hour. It honestly would not bother me if the staff was friendly and acted like they gave a hoot, though, but for those prices and that wait time, it doesnt make an easy place to want to go to.
Wonderful outdoor seating!! Great drink too!
I love to stop in here and have a cup of coffee. Its real coffee House atmosphere, in an old house. Great food and service. They often have live music and some sort of wine and art classes. This is one of my favorites in Vancouver.
Fun little place to have brunch and coffee with a friend you need to catch up with. Relaxing friendly atmosphere. Food is tasty with gluten free options. Good selection of desserts as well.
Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, good coffee.
Local, good
Coffee needed a touch up. .Not very chocolaty for a mocha. Nice atmosphere, good service
Great service, quality food. I had a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich that was probably the best Ive had. Good bagel (a proper bagel, not that circlebread BS you get in a bag at the grocery store), crispy bacon. Very comfortable, like a visit to grandmas house. Last Monday was my first visit on a recommendation from a friend. It wont be my last.
Cute cute coffee shop with yummy vegan options and great coffee. Love the vibe.
Great little cafe that has a wine bar in back. It feels more like a complex than a single business with all of the seating options. There is bar seating, indoor seating, out door seating and in the fall-spring there is a tent out back. In the summer they offer a fire pit to sit around.
My wifes sandwich was off the charts with flavor but my Belgian waffles werent anything special. Ill definitely go there again and try something else on the menu.
Good atmosphere. Great service, a bit on the slow side. Great place to meet with friends.
Good place to grab a snack or lunch! Coffee or wine .
Peaceful. You can hear yourself think. Renovated home turned to a cafe. Let your imagination run wild. Wine bar is sure to attract many of the local wine buffs. Prompt service with knowledgable and warmly genuine staff.
A nice little place in a former home. Good spot for breakfast and coffee to start a day.
I ordered a half salad and it was easily the size I was expecting for a full order. Food was really tasty. Cozy atmosphere. They have a wine bar as well that opens up at 4pm.
Solid coffee shop, indoor and outdoor covered seeing
Going to Latte Da? Get ready for great service, fantastic atmosphere, and a lot of variety in areas that you can sit to enjoy a delicious drink, or maybe a plate of biscuits and gravy. Ive been going here for about six months, and love it! Great place for a social event or just a quiet cup.
Ive been going here for about a month and LOVE IT! I havent tried the wine, but the food and coffee are excellent. The owner(s) have put a lot of work into the landscaping and maintenance of the property, and it shows! The outside seating area is awesome and is a perfect place for a low key business meeting or just relaxing.
Love how kind and sweet these people are. Especially the fire pit.. I fell in love with this place. Especially in the winter time.. :). God bless. Drinking a tsunami stout by the fire right now :). #Peace #Love #Repsect.
Meh. It was fine. Pretty spendy. $23 for coffee and breakfast for two people. The guy at the counter was not terribly helpful considering we told him that we had never been there before. And when I was trying to mentally tally how our food cost so much, I asked him and he said that the receipt would tell us. Like duh! I know that moron. We love in the neighborhood but...not sure if we would go back.
