This place is an amazing ice cream and chocolate shop! Has the best chocolates in the area because they freshly make it there! There popcorn is amazing and there fudge is just the best! There ice cream is the best! I recommend anyone to come here to buy chocolates and buy whatever sweet you imagine because they got it!

Like the only place that makes superman ice cream right! Its always clean and the staff is always nice! And they never judge a grown adult who gets the superman or the blue moon!

Malt shake was delicious but there prepackaged items and the waffle cone were not as fresh as I hoped for. Overall I would recommend the vanilla malt shake and their handmade fudge. FYI they’re quite pricey

Every time we are in Venice, we stop for chocolate at kiliwins. Try the dark chocolate sea foam, the chocolate covered orange peels, and any of the truffles. Service is fast and friendly. Theres indoor seating in the back and they sell some local art as well. You cant go wrong with a cake batter milkshake either.

I loved the ice cream, it was super sweet and surprisingly big, but I have to day, Kiara (one of the workers) should get a raise, she did an amazing job making and handing out the ice creams and kept it so it doesnt drip

It is sort of funny, because normally I dont like fudge because it is too sweet, but I really like their fudge. Their ice cream is excellent as well. And you cant go wrong with a fresh made waffle cone. Just the smell of them making the waffle cones is amazing.

Best creamy ice cream in town!! Their waffle cones and bowls are homemade and you can smell them when you walk up just outside their store and when you first walk in!! They also have a nice variety of sugar free ice cream too!! Come in and check out all their flavors!! Im a ice cream specialist and I vote them the #1!!! As a local, we love to eat out and save room and save room for dessert and go and walk around down town Venice at night and go and get ice cream!! I cant forget to mention that my husband thinks their fudge is the best and wont let me buy it anywhere else but there. Check them out for yourself!!

I LOVE Kilwins! We try to stop by the island, and Kilwins specifically, at least twice a month. The staff is always great; very helpful and pleasant every time weve visited. The selection is stellar as well, lots of different chocolates and treats of all shapes and sizes are on display, and ready for purchase!Highly recommended if youre on the Venice Island, or even St. Armands Circle for that matter!

Purchased 2 types of fudge w lady friend: chocolate pecan & the other, maple. Chocolate pecan had not 1 iota of chocolate flavor to it...... Just sugar. The maple tasted as if it had been sitting 5 years + it also had No flavoring either. The employees & customer service were Extraordinary & awesome!!!! Shop: super clean & confectionery atmosphere: Divine. I guess we should have purchased ice cream, as the other reviewers are super positive. May try that next time, but wouldnt do the fudge. $11 for.....? (Im Not skinny for good reason! Love cooking, culinary adventures etc....& when You desire Chocolate, it better be Chocolate!)

Fantastic little shop. We stopped by after renting bikes from Celebration bike rental and found our milkshakes a perfect little treat. I recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. The chocolate milkshake was a little over $7, reasonably priced for the quality of the milkshake. It can become a bit busy but the traffic moves quickly.

This is a fantastic place for the quality, but God awful on prices and staff. Very unfriendly staff and the prices could be alittle less expensive. We said hello to staff as soon as we walked in and neither me or my girlfriend got any sort of response other than disgruntled looks. My girlfriend asked one of the people who actually decided to assist us last minute what the difference was on 2 of the similar products and we never really got much of an answer besides Its just different. I would come back if some things changed but it seems like nobody there cared to be there.

Every year, when we come to venice beach we stop here. Awesome malts, sundays, candy, etc. Plus the customer service has been on point. Located in a great spot for an after dinner treat or close enough to our beach spot to stop in for an ice cream. You should try this place once and decide for yourself.We won’t miss it when we’re here. Usually we stop 3-4 times during the week we’re here.

Very helpful staff. Mant different kinds of goodies to choose from. Alittle high for the snacks but understandable since there all hand made right there, & their in the pricey part of Venice. Got 3 kinds of fudge for my dad & seen the peanut clusters there that i used to love as a kid up north...didnt get them tho, $33 bucks a lbs is crazy. Staff said its about $1 dollar per cluster. Ill search for them elsewhere at that price.

Of course Kilwins has great ice-cream and chocolate treats BUT what this place didnt have was good service. I would call it HORRIBLE service. The two young ladies acted like they didnt want to be there, they didnt want to answer questions, gave terrible looks when we did ask a question or asked for an item in the case (as if its not their job), and overall acted like they didnt want anyone in the store. Wasnt just my family that received treated like this, I noticed how they acted to the other customers as well. Absolutely disgusting. There are 10xs better places to take your business to and I highly sugest that you do. I know we will never be back.

I will never taste ice cream the same because of Aimee. I only eat little amounts of ice cream and asked for a small cone. She insisted that the large cone was the only size they had as I could see clearly smaller cones. If there is an age limit on the kids cones she could have explained that instead of rudely telling me that was the only size I can get. Thank you Aimee for ruining my night.

It looked and smelled good in there but the line was too long so we left.

Went in for some hot chocolate and a cappuccino. It was the night of the Venice Christmas parade so it was quite busy, but even when it was our turn to order it had to have been at least 5 minutes to have our two drinks made.The hot chocolate tasted like melted chocolate syrup, not hot chocolate.The cappuccino tasted like hot water with very cheap dirty espresso.Would not go back for drinks again, on the other hand the chocolate and candy they sell definitely tastes good.

No, theyre not super fast like other ice cream joints, but theyre not just another ice cream joint. If you enjoy savoring a delicious treat and dont care whether your waffle cone was chipped then go here. Its the best ice cream in Venice, as a matter of fact Im headed there right now to get myself a broken chocolate and a chipped waffle cone, maybe Ill even be lucky enough to stand in line, after all, there are worse things to smell for ten minutes.
