Staff very pleasant and nice.Helpful and knowledgeable.I also saw great teamwork between the deli and seafood department which was nice. Because frankly I would have left if I had to wait much longer (long wait time is what stopped me from giving 5 stars) when no one was in front of me to get waited on.Nevertheless nice big and clean store.

Our local ACME, so very close to home, its huge and always on point.We do the bulk of our grocery shopping here because of the options and convenience.We have one gripe and it is a very recent gripe... They changed the self checkout to an express 12 items or less self checkout... this now takes up so much more of our time. We actually have to wait on line to get rung up by a cashier as opposed to before when we probably spent 10 or15 minutes less in the store because of open self checkout.its a shame but what can you do? We will still shop there but we will have to complain til they bring it back I suppose.Thats the reason for 3 stars and not 5Please bring back regular self checkout!

As a person who shops for one Acmes deals are not for me. Its not a store designed for the single supper. I have no need for 3 for one chicken deals. It just means nothing is really for sale. But the store is reasonably clean and the staff is very helpful and kind so I shop there anyway.

This place is great. I love how they encourage you to bring your own bags to cut down on use of plastic bags. Everything they have is great quality. Love their $5 dozen donuts more than I should.

ACME overall is pretty okay, but I wanted to order a cake for a special occasion the day before the occasion. Usually when I ordered cakes the day before an occasion, they made it. But this time, I noticed there were already a lot of cakes made (specifically graduation and birthday cakes). I never saw that many cakes before in the ACME freezers. When I asked the woman if I can order my cake, she said they needed 48-72 hours notice (which by the way, I never did, because this ACME let you order a cake 24 hours before). I was completely shocked, and then I realized that they made so many graduation/birthday cakes that they probably ran out of the ingredients. Most of the cakes werent even sold yet and were poorly designed. Next time ACME, dont make so many cakes so you run out of supplies, and customers cant order custom cakes.

The place and staff is fine, however I bought a Pediasure Grow and gain organic and I gave to my grand son,he is five years old and this morning he started to throw up and had diarrhea . I recommend to all the parents to dont get this product to their children.When I bought it I checked the date and it wasnt expired.

Not much selection of brandname products. although the staff is very helpful. Specially the SMILEY ❤☺ lady that got me the 👨‍🦽 ride on cart 🛒 so i can shop better. She is very strong!💪

You look for something and you always find something close to it but not the exact brand or size. But every market can have all the same things so outside of that they have a great bakery!

Drive past it twice a day, wont go in because of 10 cent bag tax nonsense, go to shoprite in Absecon instead, even though Acmes ground beef is much better, lose the bag tax and i will come back,,, cant stand Libs,,,

Always go here for the Pharmacy though I live nowhere near here anymore simply because of the ease with which I can interact, communicate, and do business with the establishment. Never a hassle, always friendly and informative always helpful. You can go anywhere for a purchase you go back for service.

Great prices. Service with a smile nice employees. Soda selection needs more stocking with various varieties like cream soda and root beer in 2 liter bottles & 12 packs but thats my personal opinion. Other than that... Good selection of food products.

Good prices on sale products. You can get quit a few things that are decent prices but you have to look. Its in Ventnor, thats why!

Only 3 cashiers were open and one was at express lane. Picked up about 12 items. Once again the lines were outrageous. This time took pictures. Plus the help desk was closed. Couldnt buy lottery tickets. I was in the store about 50 minutes it never opened. There was about 4 people in line behind me. Spent more time in line than I did shopping.

Everything is always organizing and the store is always clean. Staff are helpful. I always like going there when I get in town.

When youre going to the beach acme Market is right by the bay for entering into ventnor. They have everything you could possibly want at reasonable prices. They are employees are friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. Everything from produce to meets to frozen foods they have it all. Jojo, are cashier, made for an overall very pleasant shopping experience. Thank you, enjoy!

A little pricy but great sales.

It is important to feel safe when food shopping as those stores are the most frequently visited. This store had a greeter to insure everyone was wearing a mask. The shelves were well stocked and the produce, deli, and meat section were full. To enhance distance control they had floor arrows to keep the flow of people going in one direction. However, there were abusers, most were not aware even though it was being announced over the speakers every 5 minutes. The line to the cashier was marked in tape 3 ft apart on the floor and the cashiers were well protected with plastic shields. Upon exiting and packing your car, there was actually someone there to retrieve your cart. The only downside was there were no hand sanitizers throughout the store and the entrance wipes were depleted. Other than that, it was a good experience. Kudos to Acme!

The only bright moment at this Acme is the check out team - super friendly. Stood at seafood counter tonight - three people looked at me and ignored me. I bought no seafood as a result. Man pushing carts as I was exiting pushed past me with the carts. I used to enjoy this Acme. No more. And the arrows for social distancing - what a joke. I guess profits are good. They don’t need my business. I’ll shop small businesses from now on.

William is a great cashier.

My wife just came to grab dinner. We got some chicken tenders, potato wedges, and chicken breast from the deli counter. The tenders and wedges were rock hard. I couldn’t even bite into them. The chicken breast was charred black, and had no meat on it. I don’t even understand who would serve a customer the quality of food we were served. Sad.

My experience is always pleasant, however when I need someone its hard to locate an associate on the floor. When I did see an associate, she informed me she could not help because she was on break. Understandable. I guess!!

Its a nice acme, but its acme. The shelves look very empty so most of what you need is out of stock. The people running the place also trust you about as much you trust a fat kid around a cake.

Im choosing 3 stars not for the item prices, rather there were a couple of people not wearing their masks properly/or if at all. I love going to ACME the store is very clean and the food is fresh! The only problem for me is that you have to pay for the bags. I believe since Im buying my food from the supermarket the bags should be included!!😔

Ive been coming to this grocery store for the last 20 years when they were other names now Acme has come in and the prices here are so so so expensive be aware of your surroundings where you go shopping. Ive never seen these prices like this ever before

Close to where I stay at the beach. Friendly workers, never very crowded and open late. Only negatives are that Acme in general is usually a little more expensive than shoprite. And to save a little money they offer a lot of family packs of meat and chicken. But if you are only cooking for 1 or 2 then its a lot of chicken to freeze or eat for several days. Plaza also has a liquor store and post office to add to the convenience.

This place is way too expensive for the quality of products that they offer

Came here around 10:30pm, everything was pretty organized. Barely any people which I loved since typically most stores only have a few cash registers open, didnt have to wait to pay.

The prices are expensive. Then when they have deals, its really not a great deal, or the stuff is close to being expired. The only thing is the employees are nice.

It’s as okay as a grocery store can get. Sometimes I find myself waiting in long lines and wish they would open more. But since the new self check outs it makes it a ton faster.Customer service is good it just whenever I go I end up stuck behind eitherA. CouponsIt’s not anyone’s fault but the customers just wish they had a second busy on customer service.I do wish however they left the main door open until at least 10pm not 8... The store has a problem with theft apparently and harasses just about anyone with a backpack. By harass I mean the loss preventions staff always follow me around since I perpetually have a backpack on my back.

Not the best Acme that Ive been to. The produce aisle has picked up in the last few years, though still much more expensive that a produce outlet or the farm market, and rarely (if at all) locally sourced. The gentlemen at the fish counter are *always* wonderful -- helpful and just so very nice. Its a pleasure stopping there.
