Unbelievably the most amazing ACE I’ve been in. The wow factor, the size, the associates, the selection. Like seriously this place is worth an out-of-your-way visit. Extremely impressed!To the individual that replied: oh that’s already been done...complete with a video and countless “wow!” Responses! Really an amazing store here!

Purchased a Toro mower tonight from here. Searched all over Sioux City Iowa but made the drive to Vermillion because they had mowers IN STOCK with the options I was looking for. The hills around my house require a good quality machine. These guy had just what I was after. Staff was super friendly and eager to help! Thank you!!

Horrible. It took forever to get help in the paint department then when the guy came over to help he didn’t say a single word, just just slowly swung his feet and clapped his hands. I told him what color I needed, then handed him my sample I already had and said I need it in this finish and brand but in a gallon. He made the new color for me but in another sample. I could hardly understand anything he said, then at the register he was rude and rushed me out. I get we all have bad days but he was straight up lazy and rude and did not care one bit. I rarely have a good experience here.

I thought it would be a small Ace with some of the basics. It was larger than I expected and has a surprisingly good variety of products, and great customer service!

Real big Ace. A lot happening in this building. They have a tremendous amount of stock. Its kind of surprising. They have more than what you would think. I have stopped in here expecting them not to have certain things and by golly they have it. The staff always asks you if you need help as well. They always have ample help standing around. Got a Wells Fargo in this place. They look to be a big atv and mower dealer as well. You can snag what I feel is the best sandwich that this planet has to offer at the very special Mr. Smiths in this Ace. This place used to be a Jones food center.

People is very nice

Love Ace hardware, even if it is more expensive than Walmart. Also mister Smiths is a fantastic restraunt, is attached to the store.

Staff is always very helpful and knowledgeable about the location of items. Id say they have 90% of what I need on hand. If they dont have it, they can get it for you within a week. Ill always check here first before buying elsewhere.

The bounce house manager is arguably the best worker they have! The staff is very helpful and if they don’t have what you need in stock, they can order it and have it in the store next day if you order before noon.

They are a great Stihl servicing dealer. You are always treated well at the service desk.

Its nice to have a hardware store in town. They typically have most everything I need. Only problem is the workers dont know what they stock or where it is. The last 4 out of 5 times Ive been there Ive had a salesperson approach me and offer help. I ask them for xyz item. They look at me like Im goofy or something. I pull the item up on my phone and show them what it looks like. They take me to the general area and say, looks like we dont carry it. So I say thanks and keep looking. Honest to god, each one of those 4 times that I kept looking I found my item. So long story short they most likely have what you need but pass on their assistance and look yourself.

Good customer service and they had what I needed

Bought a Stihl chainsaw on Saturday, April 23. Fantastic customer sales service. Because I bought the saw, they gave me the case for half price, and an extra chain for the saw. They went above and beyond. I tried to buy a chainsaw at Ideal in Sioux Falls on Friday and told them I would buy their MS251 if they would knock 10 bucks off the case bringing it down to 50. They said they could not do it. Too bad. Never going back to Ideal yardware.
